Thought about the posts on my poll about which diapers brands are best. My oldest was super sensitive to many different types of wipes as a baby and we couldn't seem to find the right brand. I searched for some DIY alternatives and came across the best one that worked for us yet:

While we didn't use Burt's Bee's stuff or coconut oil (because sometimes when it'd get cold, that stuff would harden), I would cut the paper towel roll in half (okay, I won't lie...this is kind of exhausting if you don't have a sharp knife. It will wear you out and take forever, but in the end, it's still worth it). I would put some cold water with a tiny bit of raw apple cider vinegar and pour it over the roll and take the tube out of the middle so then the wipes came out of it easily.

Then there were times if I was running a bit low on prep time and we ran out of wipes. I would grab a roll of toilet paper and a peri bottle/squirt bottle of some kind with water in it. Could just spray a little bit of water on a piece of toilet paper and wipe. I ended up doing this I think more often than the other wipes after a while xd but having the pre-prepared wipes saves a bit more time.

I figured I'd share as my oldest never had a reaction to these when she was sensitive to everything else and they saved us quite a bit of money in the long run.
