Personality: Yukiko is very proper and polite from her years of training, so she can come off as strict to some people when meeting them for the first time. In truth though, she's very down to earth. She may not look it, but Yukiko is a rebel at heart and, while she may be kind and gentle usually, can be very mischievous at times. As a result of growing up with her sisters and never really having many interactions with boys her own age, Yukiko can get pretty shy around guys too, though she denies it.
Personal Skills: Yukiko is a very gifted dancer due to years of practice since she was young. She is very athletic and is both a fast runner and swimmer. She's both studious and intelligent, with a broad knowledge of science and medicine, even capable of mixing basic remedies herself. She is an excellent cook, and even practices lockpicking as a hobby.
Family: Yukikos family, who mostly live in Ecruteak City, consist of her mother and four sisters, as well as her aunt and uncle.
Hometown: Yukiko and her family hail from Ecruteak City in the Johto Region.
Biography: Raised in Ecruteak City, Yukiko was born into a family of dancers and trained to become a kimono girl, along with her many sisters. As she grew up however, it became obvious that Yukiko wasn't as interested in dancing as her other sisters were, and she began spending more and more time learning about Pokémon and medicine from her uncle; an eccentric but kind man who had once traveled across the world in his youth as a Pokémon trainer before settling down as a doctor.
Her father having passed away when Yukiko was very young due to an accident, the girls uncle spent as much time as he could with his favorite niece, telling her stories of his adventures during his trainer days and instructing her in the art of both Pokémon medicine and healing. The girl expected her mother to be more upset when she confessed that she wasn't interested in pursuing her dance training further, but to her surprise she took it rather well.
Realizing that her daughter was likely to catch the same travel bug as her brother and late husband, Yukikos mother gifted her an Eevee and began to personally instruct her child in the art of battle. It wasn't easy, but Yukiko eventually earned her mothers approval to travel abroad. With her support, the new trainer was escorted by her family to Olivine City, where she would take the first boat out to the Kimchi region to begin her adventures.
