So it's true I've been away from GO for a long time, just kind of fell out of use of the site for personal reasons. Years have gone by, and nostalgia has made me curious.
So here I am, seeing this guild with so many people now lie silent. What happened? Was there a great exodus? Did people just fall away slowly? Did something happen to Gaia as a whole? I am quite curious.

Yeah, and I just joined this guild too. How disappointing!

For me, the mystery is greater than the vast emptiness.

TL;DR At some point gaia changed management, and unfortunately they were horrible people. Inflated gold until it became actually worthless in order to push gaia cash on everyone. Banned people for criticizing them. Oh and apparently even the mod team of the time turned corrupt and let hackers run wild. So people say.
And tbh with so many competitors, I'm not sure the site will ever recover.

I think most people who were teens turned into college kids. Then you're a little more conscious of your age here. I discovered gaiaonline my senior year of high school/early college. So it's not too bad, but now it's a lil awkward being in my mid 30's now.
