1. All made ups must be checked over by Reaver Darkside or another mod, before they can be accepted.
2. Made ups must be accepted before they can be added, a training post with the link to the made up is needed in the Training Completion thread in order for a made up to be added to your profile.
3. Be patient. Not all mods can be on at all times, we have lives too.
4. Do NOT private message our mods requesting your made up to be looked at. That is what we made this thread for.
5. Try to keep your made ups in a decent, clean fashion. Please use the format below so that the techniques can be easily added to the compendium, upon acceptance.
6. If it comes to light that your Made-ups are used to violate any of the rules laid down in RotS, or simply appear to have been accepted without realizing what they were meant for, they can and will be repealed.
Made Up Calculation Options
When creating Made Ups that have a positive or negative influence upon a stat or Stats, the modifier is equal to 1 point per every 1000 chakra the character currently has. For example: A 10,000 Chakra Genin would have a +/- 10 that they can apply towards the made up during creation.
In order to prevent a made up technique to become useless when the character gets stronger, we recommend that you assign a Letter Variable to each separate instance of a technique and assign it accordingly. For example: A 10,000 Chakra Genin could have +A to their Strength, and +B to their Speed.
In this situation, A==5 While B==5
When the Chakra increases, the first letter variable will gain the ODD increase. So: 11,000 Chakra would become A==6 B==5
This same principle applies for every instance of a Variable.
Stat Boost Limitations.
Passive Stat Boosts are Acceptable, but are required to follow a certain series of guidelines:
1) You start with 1 available Passive Stat Boost. 2) You gain additional Passive Stat Boosts every 100,000 Chakra obtained.
Furthermore, there is a specific limitation to how Stat Boosts can be written out, following a similar structure to a normal Made Up Technique. Those rules are as Follows: Stat boosts only effect the 6 base Stats, they cannot be used for Perception or Reaction.
You must have one of each of the following types, and cannot duplicate them until you've exceeded one of each. The additions of the Boost cap out at 100. 1) One Target Stat Boost | A boost of a single stat. 2) Two Target Stat Boost | A boost of two stats, but neither can be the same stat as 1. 3) Three Target Stat Boost | The Lowest Boosted Stat, may be one of the Stats from 2. 4) Four Target Stat Boost | Can boost any stats 5) Five Target Stat Boost | Can boost any stats 6) Six Target Stat Boost | Can boost all stats.
You do not need to make these in order, but are required to make one of each before making an identical one again.
Made Up Technique Costs
When creating a technique without a numerical component, you can choose the static cost that feels right for you.
When using a variable, all instances of cost will be multiplied by 25. This includes both Activation and Maintain costs.
Which means, if using multiple variables. The cost would be: ( A+B ) × 25 = Cost.

Technique Name: Fruit Wine Mixture Description: A secretive concoction created by Isidora's mother as a party favor and gift for her friends and acquaintances in Hidden Twilight Village. The potion appears as a swirling blue and purple sparkling mixture, usually contained within a series of glass vials. This mixture has the same scent, flavor and consistency as a simple fruit wine as well as its high concentration of alcohol content. Upon consumption, the potion immediately rejuvenates and energizes the one that drinks it. It takes one full post to create a potion, and can only be done outside of combat. One potion is then separated into five glass vials, allowing for five uses before needing to be remade. Technique Effect: Upon drinking a vial: -5 Perception. +5 Resolve. +A Spirit +B Speed Effects last for 5 posts, stacks if more than one is drank during duration. Cost: A+B × 25, per drink.

Technique Name: The Black Description: An otherworldly creation that was eventually ingested by humans, transferring from suitable host to suitable host over the decades. This creation primarily reveals itself as a hyper-realistic mind altering jutsu that is similar but entirely different from the standardized Genjutsu of the current shinobi world. The Black itself is an identity that constantly attempts to not only take over the body to which it inhabits, but also drain it's identity away until only it remains. This resulting in the effected Shinobi to exist in two separate states: Black Influenced, and Not. When the Shinobi enters a state of killing intent, during battle or otherwise, Black Influence activates. When under Black Influence, the Shinobi can create hyper-realistic illusions. These illusions consist of causing nightmarish disfiguration of the world around the target. Shifting a plain hallway into a twisted and mutated corridor of darkness and gore. Of course, due to these only being illusions, the actual terrain is not changed at all, only the surroundings are changed to appear as such. Even a 'dead end' placed on a hallway, would only appear to the opponent's perceptions, it would not actually exist. Black Influence also grants the Shinobi the creation of Hand-like abominations out of the surrounding environment. These hands can emerge from any solid surface and be used to grab and grapple opponents, block limited attacks, or even have their surfaces rupture to reveal literal eyes blinking open to stare at opponents and locations just out of sight.

Technique Name: Eldritch Magic Description: Lucius has grown up within the area of Hidden Magic, making his existence known with the use of distraction based techniques as well as some actual magic. Through this Lucius has created his own style of magic, causing him to manipulate the way certain jutsu works compared to other Shinobi. Technique Effect: Allows learning Ninjutsu, if the Reverse Gates are learned. All Ninjutsu are used as Genjutsu, for the sake of casting requirements and stats. IE: An offensive Fireball would become an Illusionary Fireball, using the Resolve Stat instead of the Spirit Stat. Cost: Ninjutsu learned can be cast as Genjutsu by adding 500 Chakra to the cost.
Technique Name: True Clone: Puppetry Description: A specially created technique made by her father, Crius Akasun. This technique is a modification technique to all clone based jutsu. What this does is cause all clones to actually become puppets with the clone base as a power. As such, when using a clone jutsu it is actually a puppet jutsu instead. Technique Effect: All Clone based jutsu gain damage equal to Intelligence + A. They also gain Speed + B, and Defense + C. Cost: All clone techniques cost an additional 1/2 ( A+B+C ) x 25.
Technique Name: Light of Illusion Description: Arke has developed a technique of his own, based around the concept of light reflection and refraction. By coating himself in a layer of chakra, he manipulates the light around him in order to turn himself invisible. Allowing him to travel in a rather stealthy manor across both battlefields and villages alike. He can remain invisible as long as he maintains the cost, although performing an offensive action will cause him to become visible until the beginning of his next post. Technique Effect: When invisible, anyone attempting to see or notice him must do so with a -A debuff to their perception. As long as Arke's Spirit beats their Perception, he is not seen. Attacks made when using this technique deal Spirit+B additional damage. He is only invisible as long as he does not make an offensive action. The moment he makes an offensive action, he becomes invisible and must recast the effect on the following post. Cost: A+B x 25 Chakra, on activation and every post after to maintain.

Technique Name: Draconic Substitution Technique Description: A technique that is similar to the standard Substitution Technique, except that Tia and her Wyvern can swap places instead of Tia and Inanimate objects. When swapping places in order to evade an attack, the swap is followed by an explosion of one of the Wyvern's elements instead of simple smoke, using this as a back up measure for defense in combat. Technique Name: Spirit Tail Puppetry Description: A special technique made from the mixing of his bloodline abilities; Shun is capable of alter the appearance of his puppets, and control them remotely. Technique Effect: Allows Shun to place a number of his Spirit Tails into his puppets [1 per 10 Spirit; Cap of 10]. This grants the puppet a pool of chakra equal to the amount held in the tails, and also grants the puppets a mirror of his stats. Technique Name: Supurifo Description: A technique used and learned through the ritualistic following of Ares, a long forgotten God of the shinobi world. This is a technique which he can use defensively against incoming opponent's attacks. Whether they be jutsu, or simply projectile based attacks; Apollyon can pay his own Chakra and cause a sudden explosion of energy which is completely different from the normal chakra. This energy harbors his "Annihilation" element. An element of power which he can use to nullify or crush the attacks and abilities of his opponents. With this defensive attack, the explosion like vertical wall of energy will negate the attack that goes through it, by completely incinerating anything that has to do with the attack. This can work against opposing physical attacks, but only if he can see the attacks coming, and react in speed. Technique Effect: Spirit+A vs Opponent's Jutsu Cost or Damage if opponent is struck. Technique Name:Radisu Description: An attack similar to his defensive jutsu, Supurifo. Apollyon becomes capable of generating a sphere of his special annihilation chakra, anywhere in the vicinity around him. This sphere, about six feet around from it's center, is actually capable of disintegrating anything that it comes in contact with. This jutsu can actually completely destroy anything that it comes in contact with, other then actual opponents. When faced with an opponent, the attack will actually disintegrate anything worn upon the opponent, or held by the opponent that it comes in contact, as well as severely weakening the defense of the opponent. When struck by this orb, the body will actually take on the feeling and appearance of being torn apart and crushed at the same time, sending immediate pain throughout the entire body, should it only connect on a limb. The one downside to this technique, even though it's immediate when he uses it. Is the fact that there is a small pop, almost like a bubble had burst nearby. If someone were to take notice of this pop, they would be more likely to be able to dodge the attack itself. Technique Name: Teoradisu Description: Yet another attack taking in the use of his annihilation chakra type. This being actually a powered up version of the original Radisu technique, Apollyon is capable of actually launching a full on blast of his own annihilation chakra forwards in a wide area beam like attack. This attack can actually completely disintegrate anything that it touches, or severely harm the opponent to a greater degree then the original Radisu was capable of doing. Should an opponent get struck by this attack, they will feel and appear as if their body had not only been torn to shreds and crushed, but also that their strength had been completely torn away from them momentarily. This attack extends a good 50 meters ahead of his directed hand, and can extend in a full radius of as much as 25 meters around. Much like the Radisu attack, this jutsu's attack is almost immediate, allowing not even the incoming beam to be seen by the opponent. The attack will actually simply generate itself in the entire area, instead of being launched outwards by his hand. The only thing to which will allow an opponent to know that this attack is coming, is the sudden sound of crackling a second before the attack is used, and the actual crackling of chakra almost like clear pure white electricity around Apollyon's arm. Technique Name: Coffin Making Description: Qin Mei has absolutely no craftsmanship in the coffin making artistry. However she knows how to get someone else to do it for her like a real boss! Technique Effect: If a character's spirit is lower than Qin Mei's (+A) Upon being asked to make a coffin, said character must spend two posts (200 words minimum per post) making Qin Mei a coffin. How said coffin is crafted is entirely up to the player making said coffin. However the finished product must be a fully functional coffin. During the duration of this ability at any point the character under this effect takes damage from Qin Mei or one of her allies this ability is no longer active. Cost: A x 25

Technique Name: Blood God's Blessing Description: Haemon actively seeks to spread awareness of his Religion to any and all of those within the Shinobi World. As such, he frequently offers to grant a blessing to those who both do and do not follow the path dictated through the Church of Blood. By simply drawing a specific symbol associated with his Church upon the skin of a target or himself, he is capable of granting them either positive or negative effects based upon how they treat both himself, his followers, and the Church itself. Technique Effect: After applying the symbol with blood: Strength+A, Speed+B, Spirit+C, Resolve+D. Should the target break the commandments issued out by Haemon as he applies the blessing, these bonuses will instead of transformed into Debuffs. Forcibly attempting to remove the symbol after is it applied, will result in Bleed effect for three turns, dealing E Damage a turn. Cost: ( A+B+C+D+E ) x25 activation, and per turn applied. Applying a Blessing to more than one Target increases overall costs by a flat 200 per turn, after paying activation, for each additional Blessing.

Technique Name: Blood God's Communion Description: Those who have accepted the Blessing, may be treated to the Communion. Those who refuse the blessing, may be cursed with the Communion. Everything connects through Blood. Haemon drains a portion of his own blood into an available goblet or glass, before offering it as a sign of faith. Those that willingly ingest the blood will immediately find their very perception of the world altered in ways they may not even understand. Of course, those who ingest the blood without accepting the blessing, those that break the pact of the blessing, or those who receive the blood through another means, will be faced with the opposite effects. Their body feeling the curse associated with the anger of the Blood God himself. Technique Effect: Must have received the [ Blood God's Blessing ], if following the commandments, +A Perception, +B Reaction. Should they not have received the Blessing, or the blood entered their body through other means, they receive -A Perception, -B Reaction instead. Cost: A+B x 25 Chakra, per post active. Technique Name: Blood God's Sanguine Mirror Description: Due to the constant chance that he would be damaged while in combat, Haemon has developed a means of making sure those that damage him get the same to happen to them as well. With the help of his offered Blessings, he can cause the opponent he faces to be dealt similar damage to what he suffers during combat, this is especially effective thanks to his clan's eye's abilities to manipulate heavily iron filled liquids, like that of blood itself. Technique Effect: Perception+C, Defense+A. As long as Haemon's Defense+B is higher than the Opponent's Offense, the opponent's body receives 1/2 the damage instead. Cost: ( A+B+C ) x 25 Chakra, for each time this effect activates.

This NPC may not be used to harm others or effect combat in any statistical way. If this NPC takes any amount of damage it dissolves into binary code upon impact. Zero may remove this NPC from said location at will. Allows Zero to learn abilities in a location she is not physically in. Cost: n/a
Technique Name: Dance of the Wires Description: A taijutsu technique that actually involves the use of his chakra strings. With the use of these strings, she can actually use them as if they were extensions of her body, whipping them out, but having them keep a straight edge, much like that of a blade. She can combine multiple strings at once, in order to fight off her opponent with extend able thin blades of chakra. That are actually just her strings. The other part of this dance, allows for her to be able to loop her strings around the opponent multiple times, and then pull back in order to catch them in a series of extremely sharp loops. Technique Name: Isis: Melee Expert Description: This is a variation of a specialty puppet technique created originally by Crius Akasun. It allows Isis to be able to create a puppet that looks almost entirely like her, and can actually use any and all kenjutsu or Taijutsu based techniques that Isis herself knows. Meaning that without Isis needing to battle, she has a fully up close and personal puppet that has her very likeness, in order to fight for her. Of course this puppet can not use anything other then the Kenjutsu and Taijutsu techniques that Isis herself knows, it also has the ability to use chakra strings as a means of combat or movement, but not for use with puppetry. Since this is a lifelike puppet made to Isis' likeness, she can connect her senses to it, in order to see, hear, speak from, etc. The puppet itself as if it were here, but by doing so she loses those capabilities with her actual body. Technique Effect: Speed +B Strength = Intelligence +A Defense +C Uses Isis' Intelligence and Resolve, does not have a Spirit stat due to being a melee only puppet. Cost: A+B+C x25 Chakra
