Free For All Wrestling Entertainment Presents...

2018 Lord of the Ring Tournament

Open Challenge
FFA Platinum Championship

Kurast the Eliminator © vs ???
-Kurast comes out to the ring and talks about how he INSISTS on having an open challenge tonight. He realizes that means pulling double dute, and even triple duty WHEN he manages to win the Lord of the Ring tonight. Kurast knows that he can take the punishment, and demands a challenge tonight, which he gets when the ******** WARBOT ANSWERS!
-Kurast tries to immediately punch the WARBOT in the face, but it is a cold, unfeeling automaton, build solely for wrestling and killing. It doesn't feel remorse. It cannot sense pain. And it doesn't have rights. Kurast hurts his hand.
-WARBOT sets up Kurast for it's submission move, the Reverse Vice Grip, wherin it tries to pull it's opponent's head apart, but Kurast manages to shake the grip of the robot.
-Kurast loosens the connections that link up the WARBOT's spinal column with a GORE to the back, but it hurts his own shoulder as well. Not so much that he cannot deliver a second GORE, splitting the WARBOT in half!
-Kurast defeates the WARBOT via pinfall (the top half of it's shoulders) with the GORE to retain the championship.

Terran Tiers vs Orca w/ Future Perfect
-The entirety of Future Perfect was out to ringside for the match to watch Orca perform against Terran, especially considering what was at stake. Both Terran and Orca postured a bunch, and any time Terran so much as knocked Orca down, he shouted at Grif outside the ring that Terran should have been the one Grif, King, or anyone would pick for mentorship.
-Orca, a somewhat tall boy, surprised Terran with his athleticism when he managed to backflip out of a suplex and turn it into the Davy Jones' Locker on Terran, who managed to grab the ropes to break it up.
-The two battled to the top rope precariously until Terran got Orca up on his shoulders and hit him with a top rope Attitude Adjustment. Not stopping there, Terran rolled Orca up onto his shoulders for a rolling fireman's carry slam, and then fluidly brought Orca up once more and hit him with the Silver Bullet.
-Terran Tiers def. Orca via pinfall with the Silver Bullet
-After the match, Future Perfect got in the ring and checked on their downed rookie while Terran celebrated. Tallah got in Terran's face about how he was being a little p***k about everything, but Terran pushed her onto her a**, causing Grif to hit Terran with the OOA.

Backstage
Ren Asano is backstage and she walks up to Raj Del Rey, who is getting ready for his match coming up soon for the semi-finals. Ren asks Raj how it feels to be on the cusp of one of his biggest victories after having had sort of a lack luster first year in FFA compared to Nate Navarro. Raj is surprised by the hostility of her question, but before he can answer, Railery approaches the duo. Railery offers Raj a hand shake before their match, which Raj gladly accepts. Raj asks what match Railery will request at Total Devotion if he wins, but Railery is coy and says he "doesn't want to get anyone's hopes up yet." Railery then asks Raj the same question and Raj smirks. "The only thing I want is the ten pounds of gold on Navarro's shoulder."

Lord of the Ring Semi-Final Match
Kurast the Eliminator vs Akiren Kurumiya
-Kurast is back out for his semi-final match against Akiren, but he's clearly still hurt from his ridiculously tough first match, as any mortal man would be. Akiren however looks very fresh and starts to wrestle Kurast down to the mat often.
-Akiren drops the ball and Kurast manages to get the advantage when Akiren's mouse trap doesn't work the way he wanted, allowing Kurast to beat the dog s**t out of the phantom thief. Kurast sets up for the GORE.
-When Kurast tries to hit the Gore, Akiren moves out of the way and Kurast runs straight into the turnbuckle. Akiren capitalizes quickly and hits the Phantom Chance for the win.
-Akiren def. Kurast via pinfall with a Phantom Chance to advance to the main event.

Lord of the Ring Semi-Final Match
Railery vs Raj Del Rey
-The faces bump fists again as a show of respect and then begin to wrestle their asses off. The crowd is pretty split between the two of them, it's hard to decide which of them the fans want to win.
-Interrupting the barnburner of a match, Serrick Rowe and Ashalar make their way out to ringside while Railery is down on the mat, distracting Raj. Ashalar tries to get in the ring with his hammer, but the refbot stops it. The refbot and Railery don't see Serrick trip Raj as he is going for the KNEE, causing Raj to land flat on his face. As he is getting up, Railery strikes and hits him with the #Finisher! 1! 2! 3! Railery wins!
-After the match, Railery and the referee both see the distraction on replay that won Railery the match, and the referee makes the questionable decision to restart the match. Serrick and Ashalar are about to get involved when Railery and Marx, coming down from backstage, hit them with superkicks. Marx fights Serrick to the back.
-The match continues, until Railery manages to drop Raj neck first on the top rope and rush over to the corner to climb up and connect with his other finish, Gravity
-Railery def. Raj Del Rey via pinfall with the Gravity to advance to the tournament finals

Backstage
The Monitor and Tanuki are backstage in their locker room when The Unit Shredderz come in and ask if there is anything they can do to convince The Monitor and Tanuki not to screw them over tonight and lose them their jobs. The Monitor tells Inez and Lynn that they were never going to screw them, and that they will call the match right down the middle. The Unit Shredderz are in complete control of their destiny.

Conqueror's Ladder Match
Infernoweight Championship

Domino Ando © vs Curio vs Dodge vs Myles Shaw vs SOLDADO
-The rules of this special FFA Ladder match are simple. As usual, the only way to win is to climb a ladder and retrieve the championship, but in this ladder match, a competitor can be eliminated by pinfall or submission.
-Early in the match, the psychology of the contest is demonstrated when SOLDADO locks Myles Shaw in a crossface, using a ladder to stretch Myles uncomfortably, trying to eliminate the boy, but is forced to let Myles out of the hold in order to stop Curio from claiming the win behind his back
-Dodge spends most of the match trying to get his hands on Myles, and each time he is about to, Curio helps her faction-mate out and takes up Dodge's attention
-Domino sets up a large collection of ladders on the outside, and it ends up resembling a spiked pit from Mortal Kombat. The effort works against him when Curio throws him over the top rope into the pile of ladders. She attempts to eliminate him, but Domino kicks out
-Dodge finally catches Myles, but it's at the top of the ladder. Dodge smacks Myles in the face with the hanging title belt. Seeing Curio coming to help, Dodge realizes he cannot win the title in the time he has, so instead he deliberately unbalances the ladder, causing it to tip and both he and Myles sail through the air into the pile of ladders on the outside. Dodge flops over on top of the dead Myles to pin him. Myles is Eliminated.
-Eventually managing to recover, Dodge rolls back into the ring, but SOLDADO grabs him and hits him with the Dear John onto a ladder, eliminating him as well. Dodge is Eliminated. Shortly thereafter, Curio grabs SOLDADO and hits him with a Raze Machine off the ring apron to the floor to eliminate him. SOLDADO is eliminated.
-Domino Ando wins the match after hitting Curio with a Sunfall off the top of the ladder, pinning her and eliminating her. The only competitor left standing, Domino climbs the ladder and retrieves his championship, becoming the sole Conqueror.

If Unit Shredderz Lose, They Are Suspended
Special Referee The Monitor
Special Ring Enforcer Tanuki

The Unit Shredderz vs The Ghosts of Lucha Libre
-To their credit, the Monitor and Tanuki do play the match very straight and narrow, on the up and up. Monitor calls for breaks by both heel teams, and Tanuki prevents Zero from grabbing a chair for using on his opponents.
-........however.
-Late in the match, Zero hits Lynn with the Zero Sum Match, a phoenix splash off the turnbuckle through the announce table, effectively eliminating them both from the match. Inez sees this as a prime opportunity to grab her baseball bat, which Tanuki is vehemently against. Inez accidentally hits her in the stomach with the bat in a struggle, before rolling into the ring. Inez hits Lichador with the Brooklyn Goodbye and goes for the pinfall.
-Monitor starts the count... but then ends it as Tanuki gets in the ring and locks Inez in the Scorpion Cross Lock, allowing Monitor to hit the TRUE JUSTICE tag finisher on her. Monitor and Tanuki look at Inez and Lichador laying on the mat, and decide to drape Lichador's arm across Inez's chest, and count the pinfall. Real fast. 123.
-Lichador def. Inez via pinfall after TRUE JUSTICE is dispensed. The Unit Shredderz are announced as indefinitely suspended.

Backstage
A mysterious vignette plays, showing a blonde man in a white coat putting the finishing touches on his "beauties" he calls them. The entire scene is very dark, until lights come on, silhouetting two women laying on slab tables in front of the man, cables and tubes plugged into their arms and legs. The man laughs like an anime villain.

Co-Main Event
FFA World Championship

Sobek Slate vs Nate Navarro ©
-The champ gets way more than he asked for with Sobek it seems, being unable to overpower him and suffering several deadly strikes from the Egyptian mob hit man. It takes Nate a long time to even stun Sobek with his strikes.
-Nate counters the Crocodylus by kneeing Sobek in the face on the way up off the ground, and then locks in a sleeper hold on the much bigger man, causing Sobek to slowly fade and fade and fade, drooling as he does so. When Nate goes for the Penalty Kick, Sobek suddenly wakes up and catches his foot, standing up and throwing Nate into the corner for sudden strikes. He then sets up for a Vader bomb until Nate gets up behind him and hoists the much bigger man onto his shoulders. A few seconds later, Nate somehow manages to hit the biggest Star Shatter of his career so far, planting Sobek on the mat.
-Nate Navarro def. Sobek via pinfall with the Star Shatter to retain the world championship

Lord Of The Ring Finals
Winner Gets Any Match Of Their Choice at Total Devotion
Winner Is Declared the 2018 Lord of the Ring

Railery vs Akiren Kurumiya
-Akiren tries to put Railery away several times, early, with his various roll-up pins that won him so many matches in the Championship Soul tournament. Both of these men have had tough schedules heading into the finals. Akiren had to face off against the world and platinum champions, while Railery had to deal with Raj Del Rey tonight.
-The crowd is firmly behind Railery, who had won the FFA match 6 months ago but had his title reign stolen from him by Serenno
-When it became clear that Railery was not going to fall for one, two, three, or four different types of roll up pin, Akiren began actually cheating, holding holds for long, sneaking in eye gouges, using ropes for leverage. One particularly ghastly near fall came when Akiren had his feet on the ropes, and the referee, Kai, counted the three count but waved it off cause of the feet.
-Railery went for a top rope hurricanrana, but Akiren turned it into a power bomb for a near fall. As he kicked out, Railery busted out the Twisted Flow, his father's submission finisher, once again, but Akiren turned it into another roll up.
-Railery defeated Akiren via pinfall with the #Finisher to become the 2018 Lord of the Ring

In Ring Segment
After the match and celebration and trophy presentation, Shane Tuu and Ren Asano stand in the ring with Railery to get his announcement for match of choice at Total Devotion. Ren asks Railery if she should go ahead and let Nate Navarro know that his days as champion are numbered. Railery takes the microphone from her.

"The one thing that has been on my mind for the past six months is not the FFA World Championship, so no, Nate, don't worry. I'm sure you'll have plenty of dance partners lining up to face you at Total Devotion, but I won't be one of them. I really do hope you keep that title until I get a chance to wrestle you for it, but I need to handle my own personal business first. The fact of the matter is... I have to prove something to myself and to my family, and that is that I can stand on my own and not be held back or held down by any one person or thing.

Six months ago, I won the FFA match and then lost my World Championship five days later. Because my brother Serenno decided to take it from me at my weakest. And then when I got my rematch, your fiancé helped you keep it. A month later, we faced off again, and this time you beat me after hitting me with someone else who, honestly, shouldn't have even been in that match with us. The Lord of the Ring comes around... and you walk out rather than even POSSIBLY get in the ring with me again. Because I know you're afraid.

I now know what you know, Reno. You can't beat me.

Shane, make it official. I want to wrestle Serenno King at Total Devotion, and I want him in a match that no one can interfere in and he can't run away from. Me and him. One on One. Locked inside the Chain Linked Hell."

Dirt Sheet Reports by Jessica Haro

-The 2018 Lord of the Ring Tournament is in the books and it was a fairly good one this year. Many of the company's newer wrestlers are stictly stronger performers than they were a year ago, and replaced people who were not as good. Overall, the in-ring quality between 2017 and 2018 FFA has been noticable.

-Railery won the tournament and challenged Serenno to a match at Total Devotion in Chain Linked Hell, which is essentially a hell in a cell match but using the elimination chamber structure. This will be the culmination of their six month storyline, although really it was a 3 month storyline since there was break in it.

-Other people who were considered to win the tournament were Raj Del Rey and Serrick Rowe, but King decided that Raj didn't need the tournament to get a title shot if they wanted to go that way, and Serrick vs Nate is being held off for a much later date. (They were classic rivals in J.A.P.A.N.)

-The blonde madman tinkerer shown on the vignette tonight is dojo wrestler Infinity, who debuted in the FFA match in December and died at the hands of Seita Gray. Sounds like they're ready to bring him in soon, and I know for a fact that they're going to be adding him to another faction.

-Discussions have begun to bring another couple of performers over from TkT to FFA, for another faction. Inez and Lynn were written off of television for a couple of months to cool them off from being in the title scene so much, but also so they can head back to TkT to do some stuff over there as well.

-Nate pulled Sobek into a pretty decent title match, which was great if out of no where. FFA is aware of it's lack of top booking heels to face Nate for the championship, with so many people injured, Grif and King turning face, and Serenno getting stale. FFA has plans to move some people up the card to make this work, as well as a few returning villains coming soon.
