Are there any writers around this guild? 3nodding
I love to write! Right now many of my stories are short stories, though I also love novel writing. I write a short story each month for my Patreon and am currently working on a visual novel. I also regularly write poetry too!

Just this week I started working on a script with a friend from undergrad.
We don't have anything written just yet, lol, but we have our second meeting in a few days to continue fleshing out a story/characters.

My visual novel is based on a students and teachers attending a school for students who use magic. Or any social science through fantasy in general, but mostly social and D&D I adore talking about society and sociology, and fantasy is such a great way to do that! It's wonderful to share this interest with someone else on Gaia redface I don't get to play D&D much but I think it's great that you have that option to explore society through D&D too. If you can give me more information about what you'd like to write, I'd be happy to give you some advice or tips. Generally, I meet a lot of people who wish to write a novel. There are a lot of ideas, but there isn't the knowledge on how to combine these ideas into a story. The first tip would be to start writing flash fiction, which is a piece of complete writing that can be anything from 3 to 500 words. Practicing telling a complete story in a limited number of words helps you to learn how to solidify your ideas, improve decision making and improve overall writing skills. Look for free writing competitions and have a go at them too - it can help challenge you to take on topics and establish your own creative process. If anyone wants, I could run writing challenges in the guild 3nodding

Which are roughly 90 pages.
We're working with my friends idea of children teaching parents.
Spinning it into sci-fi comedy where our main family moves into a high-tech suburb, cut off from the rest of world.
After two meetings we have a base outline the contains robots, hypnosis/brainwashing, a secret kids hideout and an "evil corporation" that uses the lure of safety and pleasantries to take control.
