Backstory:
When her village flooded in a terrible storm, Hamako was rescued by Lyssa from among the debris the next morning. Her own mother lost, Hamako was raised by Lyssa and grew up in her line of work, helping disaster victims and those who needed someone's intervention.
When another large flood swept a town, Hamako jumped into action, saving many lives. She is now called on specifically when a task calls for water rescue or particular bravery.
During her adult life Hamako joined her mother in the battle against Nyx, where her mother was killed. This bothers her deeply still.
