Welcome to the new Nobles guide! Here you will find information and an application to create your own noble families within the roleplay! None of this gives your character any sort of post boost, but if your character comes from a wealthy family they obviously have some roleplay power. As an example, if jailed, your character can make bail bond and hire skilled lawyers. It isn't all butterflies and roses though, your character is more likely to be taken hostage and held at ransom, traded for political power, married off to someone you don't desire, etc. The more your character makes use of the advantages the more the crew can impose one of the big disadvantages. So there are pros and cons to having a character who is a part of a noble family. In general, the crew will discuss things in relation to the nσвlєs & fαctíσns with respect to potential plots to try and make the plots workout

Please keep in mind when applying crew may ask for changes and details to be changed for approval; future changes may be requested in the future in order to keep everything within the lore of the roleplay.

Now, lets get into the meat of it. There are a few classes you can apply to be in. The top class are the Nobles. The Nobles are the ruling class and hold great power over people. They possess all of the following five traits:


[1] ▬ Liquid Wealth: This means your family has a lot of cash or valuables that can easily be traded, invested, used to bribe, or stolen.
[2] ▬ Land & Property: These hard assets are not easily exchanged, but to represent some form of wealth. We have split this off because we do allow dying nobles to exist. A Dying noble has some Land & Property, but has very little in the ways of liquid wealth. This can be current and past holdings.
[3] ▬ People/Followers/Subjects: Every noble family has a large following(s) of some kind who support or serve them in one way or another. Describe your followers, subjects, or people you influence and their relationship with your noble family; past, present, and projected.. This could be anywhere from serfs in the medieval times, to just being a family the people respect, and feel can represent them, and/or want them in a position of power/ believe they should be there. Describe why they believe your family to be a noble one.
[4] ▬ Reputation & Influence: They are a major centers of Influence; their words and name carry weight in society and can be used to influence change or to help achieve what they desire.
[5] ▬ Dynasty/Lineage/Genealogy As the section implies, this is a detailed/ clear line of your families ancestors down to their descendants. To show how the family is connected and their heirs.


Nobles possess all of the above things, but we do have a few other classes: Lesser Nobles, Dying Nobles, Merchants, and Notable Families.

Lesser Nobles ▬ Anyone who has all of the above traits but maybe to a much smaller degree, or possesses enough of the traits to be considered noble, but just is found lacking somewhere. You may think you qualify to be a noble, but find yourself in this class anyways. In the roleplay, as your family changes you may be promoted to the Noble class, or switched to an alternate class. Lesser Nobles have more than just Land & Property, but less than all five of the above Noble Traits.

Fallen Nobles ▬ A dying noble family was once great, but it has lost and is losing much of what it once had. They maintain a lineage of course, but might be lacking in wealth, and influence. They usually still possess a decent amount of land & property, but they don't necessarily have much more than that.

Merchants ▬ These make up the bulk of the alternate classes. Each merchant family is wealthy. Even the poorest merchant family on this list has the wealth of a hundred commoners. Sometimes their wealth is well-known, and sometimes it is slightly more hidden. Merchants don't usually possess too much influence over people's ideology and philosophy. Their power comes in the form of money.

Notable Families ▬ These families are notable, but not necessarily a good fit into any of the above. If your character becomes a council member they would be put on this list as they have potential to someday be promoted to a lesser noble, and then a noble! Up and coming families, or other unique people who have made themselves a center of influence will be put on this list.

[The Crew may adjust any and all values to better fit the Guild's vision, so just because you put a certain request in for wealth it does not mean you will be granted such.]

        Nobility in this land ▬ Nobility in the land of forest and mountains has shifted due to the fall of other nations. From its influx of refugees to being the last known bastion of humanity, its people have emphasized those who would ensure its well being as the ones in charge. From the dust mines to food to water, by and large the nobility are those who can provide vital resources to its people and who are seen as generous and accepting; allowing the people their personal freedoms while providing for the poor and disenfranchised.

        Nobility in this land ▬ Nobility in the land of snow and ice is typically tied to the military in some way; be it distinguished military service, or having industry tied to it. This is due to the militant nature of Atlesian society, and the harsh environment in which they live; and the most sure way to power in this society. While other kinds of nobles do exist, the majority of nobility from there are connected to its military.

        Nobility in this land ▬ Nobility in the land of endless sand and sun are typically chosen for their strength of character; being an individual who has characteristics the people greatly value and/or have shown themselves to care for the people of this nation first. This can range from warriors who have fought for the city time and time again and shown their noble/honorable characters in battle to those who have supported its fighters and the people. While other kinds of nobles do exist, the majority of nobility from there are those who are seen to have great personal character.

        Nobility in this land ▬ Nobility in the land of sky and sea are typically those with a respect for nature and aesthetics; being those who believe grace and appearance is as important as governing, as well as nature being that which allowed them to flourish and survive as a people. Thus, many a noble arose from those who worked in industry that emphasized fashion and personal allure as those who helped to use the land to show its beauty and support it's people; both sides of the spectrum emphasizing beauty. While other kinds of nobles do exist, the majority of them would hold a deep respect and appreciation for aesthetics.

╫ The Krayeth Family ╫


        General Description ▬ Hailing from the northern isles above Vale (the land of Mimar), the Krayeth Cloud (Family) is the crowned, sovereign family of the Nation of Arkmimar. Arkmimar is unrecognized by the major kingdoms and simply considered another part of Vale, or at best, an unincorporated territory. Still, hold firmly to the fact of their independence. They consist primaraily of avian faunus; mostly swan faunus, and were known primarily for keeping to themselves, and of course, their great craftmanship. The Krayeth Cloud has a rich history, but is a noble faction that is in peril under the current circumstances.

        Symbol ▬ The Krayeth family holds fiercely to the virtues of elegance (white), passion (pink), and equality (gold). The Krayeth name has become synonymous with these traits, and their respective colors.

        Colors: Pink, White, and Gold.
        Symbolic Animal: The Swan
        Attire: The Krayeth family dresses in robes and traditional outfits. Typically white accented by gold and pink. They have been seen to wear more standard clothes when out in the city in order to blend in, and often change into combat attire while on missions or engaging in martial arts.

        Nature ▬ Other than the beforementioned virtues, the Krayeth family is known to be very prideful of their nation and image. They work relentlessly to compete internally until they have achieved perfection. Arkimimar by and large holds the same general values. They produce only the highest quality goods in every industry they take part in, and the Arkmimarian swan seal is synonymous with the term "high quality," and is one of the most sought after seals. They have brands in almost every industry.

        They are not known to brag, as such is frowned upon in their society. They let their work do the talking for them. They are very idealistic people and are known to be difficult to work with due to their unreasonably high standards.

        In Arkmimar duels are legal, and offending someone's pride often results in a duel called Ononoshi, which is a fight where the loser has their wings axed. Most would rather die than suffer such a shameful loss and end up committing suicide as they are shunned from upper echelons of society.

        The Krayeth family in everyway reflects the values of Arkimimar. They hold strongly to the traditional ways of their people and set an example for all.

        [1] Liquid Wealth ▬ Their current level of wealth is that of a medium business owner (think of a family that owns two or three successful businesses, with multiple locations). The Krayeth family has lost most of their wealth when they were forced to abandon their homeland and make their way to Vale for refuge. They receive a small voluntary tribute from the Arkmimarians who came with them, but it is meager due to the circumstances. The Krayeth family has started several small businesses with their own people, but they give most of it back to their subjects.

        [2] Land & Propety ▬ Technically, The Krayeth family owns an exorbitant amount of land in the northern isles. The value of which is unknown, but very high. That said, most of it is not able to be liquidated due to the grimm infestation. Nor are they able to access the lionshare of the land. There are still several strongholds alive and well in Arkmimar, but they are entirely cut off from Vale by this point in time.

        In Vale itself, they own several pieces of property, all of which are used for business or are habitational in nature. They own a single estate out in the hinterlands of Vale (mostly a farming commune of sorts) to cater to the Arkimimarian's unique appetite, but they do not own any other estates/land in other kingdoms. Aurtrox himself has purchased several small pieces of property all over Vale and the outskirts. Most of which are abandoned structures.

        [3] Followers ▬ The Krayeth family has the loyalty of all Arkmimarians. Whether in Vale, or those surviving in their homeland. Like a flock of birds they stick together. They truly believe themselves to be their own nation of people and are loyal to a fault. Enforcing their own laws where they can. There are a few non-Arkmimarian followers, most of which are business associates, or other avian faunus who admire the Krayeth family, but by and large Arkimimarians are the main group. The majority of which still live in the strongholds in the northern isles.

        [4] Influence ▬ The Krayeth family themselves had very little reputation in Vale before they made their way to the city. Now, thanks to Aurtrox, they are very well known. Politics have given the Krayeth name mixed reviews, but within the economic sphere the Krayeth family is associated with the Arkmimarian seal of quality and they are revered. This means while a politician might scorn Aurtrox Krayeth on TV, they wouldn't hesitate to do business with them off-air. Aurtrox himself is the most influential figure, and current head of the family, and nation of Arkmimar. Though he delegates most of Arkmimar's leadership to a an unknown group called the Cloud Council. It is believed to be composed of elderly Arkmimarians. Aurtrox keeps this aspect of his life separate from his duties with the Vale government and his role as Headmaster over Beacon Academy.

        [5] Lineage ▬ The Krayeth Cloud itself is not particularly large. Arthurius and Aethelaya had three sons and four daughters. I will only name a few for now:

        Current notable members:
        ❖XxArthurius Krayeth, Father of Aurtrox. The proud leader of The Northern Isles. He was known for his brutal hand in war and peace. He was harsh on both his friends and his family as he expected nothing less than perfection. Before him the Krayeth family was merely one tribe out of many, but unity came swiftly when he took command. He had long flowing white hair that made him look nothing short of angelic. The only thing that ever broke him was the death of his wife; Aethelaya.
        ❖XxAethelaya Krayeth, wife of Arthurius. Little is known about the great Queen of the Icy Isles (she was born from a clan in the Icy Isles). She was a beautiful soul that managed to take the edge off of Arthurius. For this the people worshipped her. Arthurius brought passion, but she brought the elegance and passed it down to their children. She died in a grimm invasion on the Krayeth's castle, her death was mourned far and wide when the pegasi grimm dragged her off. It is believed that Arthurius mounted one last expedition into the heartland of the pegasi nesting grounds to retrieve her body.
        ❖XxAurtrox Ap Krayeth, head of the Krayeth family. Firstborn son of Arthurius and Aethelaya. He never possessed the traits of a ruler, but this didn't stop his father's fierce education program. He would be a ruler whether or not he wished to, as his father had decided his fate before he was even born. He was only a young adult when his mother was taken and the sovereign burden was passed onto him. He managed it surprisingly well, but little did the subjects know that he was falling apart inside. Slowly, but surely. Aurtrox brought equality into the family values as he valued nothing less than justice. His justice complex is believed to be his main driving force against the grimm.
        ❖XxLunestra Krayeth, younger sister of Aurtrox. She was only a child when her brother and her left for Vale. She was raised in a similar fashion as Aurtrox as he knew no other way. This unfortunately brought a bit of disharmony between her brother, but when she finally began her attendance at Beacon he decided to lay back and let her grow. She always held his mother's air of elegance, and her fathers nobility. She sought to be her own, yet a worthy heir to the Krayeth name. The elites had high hopes for her, but The Tribe took her life before it had even really began. She died due to an explosion set-off by the Tribe in Beacon Academy Gymnasium.
        ❖XxAnthvor Krayeth, the second oldest son of the Krayeth family. He married and had several children. He lived a peaceful life and worked for the family as a diplomat to Vale. He was known for being a very kind man. The sort that restored faith in humanity. He was reliable, and many thought he would have made a better leader than his older brother Aurtrox. On one sorroful day, his daughter (Poppy) was kidnapped while she was attending him on a diplomatic mission to Vale. She was believed to be enslaved due to her beauty and her powerful healing semblance that worked through her voice. She had the voice of an angel, revered by the entire kingdom. Anthvor became unhinged, blaming himself for her kidnapping. He dedicated the rest of his days to finding his beloved daughter, but one day he never returned. Believed to have been killed in the search. His body was never recovered. His family still resides in one of the strongholds if Arkimimar.

        History ▬ Before the Krayeth Cloud united the northern isles and formed the nation of Arkmimar the land was full of warring factions. The strongest factions were all swan faunus factions who subjugated other races and sub-factions (and named them Feathers). It was believed that their ability to fly was what gave them an edge in this location. Arthurius Krayeth was able to garner the favor of enough factions to wage a final war and unite the land. His appropriately rough rulership molded the country together in a way that nobody else had ever been capable of doing. He created a truly unified nation that flourished for many years before the cursed grimm began to grow in force. Arkmimar is a stratarchy where the heads of each Cloud (clan) form a council known as the Cloud Council. This is where most of the day to day ruling happens. Members of the Krayeth family delegate special roles from time to time and participate in the council as they please. There are nine Clouds that form a council underneath the Krayeth Cloud for a grand total of ten. The Cloud Council consists of the head of each Cloud, and underneath each Cloud there are sub-factions called Feathers.

        There are other Feathers unnamed here, but all Feathers with more than one hundred members are listed.

        As the grimm gained power Arkimimar created an elite group akin to hunters of the major kingdoms called the Cloud-Force. Most of their military was converted to the Cloud-Force as the grimm infestation worsened. These warriors were known to be the best of the best, but most of the ones who made the trek to Vale sacrificed themselves to help the Arkmimarians to arrive as intact as possible. Only a few live in Vale and around Vale.

        The primary type of grimm that swarmed them were griffons. They flocked to the northern isles and ravaged the land. They swarmed the shores in throngs and ultimately brought death of the queen. This is the event that triggered Arthurius to cave in and finally send Aurtrox with a large group of Arkmimarians to Vale. A population that would sustain their race if Arkmimar truly fell. Aurtrox and his younger sister, Lunestra, led the massive exodus to Vale. The trek was brutal and many died along the way. The Krayeth family was quickly accepted by the elites of Vale. Their youth made them a prime prospect for political manipulation, but Aurtrox wouldn't allow this. His strong will, proactive nature, and unorthodox methods pushed him a staggering height within the emergency council. His proposals quickly brought harmony between humans and faunus as he was fair and cracked down harshly on the splinter groups of the white fang just as much as The Tribe. He was soon elected as the headmaster of Beacon where he has remained since.

        Symbol ▬ While not in their symbol, the families colors are indigo and darkgoldenrod. Their line has always been represented by the spear; it being a symbol of them since the great wars and what their family was known for.
        General Description ▬ Hailing from the dune seas of Vacuo, the Reveley family is the main noble family of Vacuo. Holding firmly to the nations fierce independence and having been in power since the Great war, the Reveley's have had a long history with Vacuo as rulers. Due to the fall of Vacuo, and their already dwindling bloodline, the family was all presumed dead until recently where one heir was found to be alive and brandishing the families signature weaponry.
        Nature ▬ The family values independence, honor, and virtue. Ingrained with the notion to lead by example, especially from a place such as Vacuo, the family strives to be fair and just in their ruling. Morally, they will uphold the law and generally do what is "right"; though they are also firm in terms of such things. They will show mercy when deserved, and none when it is not. The family, predictably, is also very prideful in their prowess as warriors; commonly known to do duels to the death, for there is no greater kind of battle or show of skill. Not sedate in the slightest, they take active roles in whatever they can in terms of ruling; even going through the streets of Vacuo commonly with little in way of an escort to heed the people. While the "head" family of Vacuo, they are cooperative with others and worked with several other houses to keep order for the nation.
        [1] Liquid Wealth ▬ At current time, 3? The family being survived only by Garret who has little in way of the families wealth; any of such assets were left behind in Vacuo during its fall. Whether it still remains there or not is unknown. His current status is enough to live comfortably in an apartment in vale and not have to worry about when his next meal would come. Even making enough to have some set aside as savings and other such things.
        [2] Land & Property ▬ In Vale, the family only has Garret's apartment room as property (unless you count an outpost in the outskirts he helped Aurtrox to establish). In Vacuo, the family had a vast sum of land and buildings; from their own manor to many public buildings in Vacuo to be used by all. The family having firmly believed in being fair and just in past had helped to build some community centers and public works for the people (though not as much as the Von Lorenzia had); as well as defenses that were overrun in its fall.
        [3] Followers ▬ Many citizens of Vacuo still remain loyal, and would rally to, the Reveley name. Believed to have died in the fall, rumor has spread that a survivor yet lives. Slowly, Garret has been trying to gather the scattered people of Vacuo to reclaim Vacuo yet again. While not all of them yet, the number will be steadily growing.
        [4] Influence ▬ Known in Vale as a Grimm hunter and the messenger of Beacon, Garret has some influence on the school due to his time working with the headmaster. Among the people of Vacuo, his name has considerable weight and hope attached to it; but it is one that must be earned as is the nature of people from Vacuo. Outside of these groups, Garret has little influence on others as it stands. When the family was still alive and Vacuo stood, they had considerable influence on all those who resided in Vacuo; be it in or out of their cities. Influence had also extended to other nations, though much less given their fierce independence, due to the abundance of dust they had.
        [5] Lineage ▬ Adil Reveley, and his wife Adalet Revely, were the first Revely's to become nobles due to their participation in the great war for Vacuo. Having shown valor, courage, and unyielding prowess in battle they were one of a few families from such a time to have risen quickly in power. Their embodiment of character helped define what would be known of all Revely's to come after; just, fair, strong, independent and compassionate. To a more modern time, the latest Revelys were Amir and Orabelle with their two children; Garret and Sylvana. While having ruled as their ancestors did, much of the family died in the fall of Vacuo; the only surviving member being Garret Reveley. Having kept his name hidden for a time, he has finally revealed it and his intent; to reclaim Vacuo for his people.
        History ▬ Before the Reveley family arose to power during the great war, Vacuo was a land that was passive and being used for the benefit of others. It's natural beauty was destroyed in favor of greed of other nations, and its people oppressed. Once the great war happened with the help of Vale, they were able to secure their independence again. Not willing to let such a thing happen again, Vacuo became a much more independent nation than it was in past. Still trading dust but being much more reclusive and relying mostly on itself. While the Revely's became the "main power" during this period, the nation was not ruled solely by them. Instead, it was ruled by an alliance of noble houses that worked with one another. The more notable ones being the Night Stalkers that they helped raise to power and the Von Lorenzia family; the former having been what seemed like an opposing force once till differences were put aside. While they worked on different issues and embodied different ideals, the families all worked for the betterment of Vacuo and kept this diverse people alive. Also managing to keep a semblance of law around for the people, even though for many they self governed such things. Even with the tribes of Vacuo they had a good reputation, for the most part. Respecting Yowlumne traditions and claims, they made trade and agreements with them in terms of dust; keeping on good terms with them.

        Much of the family met a tragic end during the fall of Vacuo; the family having been attacked and overrun by Grimm due to their stubborn insistence on remaining in Vacuo until their people were evacuated first. Only one member of the family survived the event, and many did not know so till much later. Garret Reveley would be taught under the tutelage of a Night Stalker that was one of the personal protectors of the Reveley. After years of travel, and the death of his protector, Garret would become an accomplished Grimm slayer and work for Aurtrox. Here, Garret worked to fulfill the oath he made to his family and protector; to reclaim Vacuo.

        General Description ▬ A byproduct of an early organizational spy group, The Xcoutals are family that are from the lands of Vacuo. A makeshift group turned into a genuine family, they are or were the power force and security of the Revelery. Do to the fall of Vacuo, they now reside in Vale. Currently, the bloodline is In better shape than the Revelery.
        SymbolUser Image. The family colors are similar to that of the night stalkers being that of black and purple and they bear similar symbol as well. The Only difference is a slightly transparent X that's attached to the symbol. Though, this may change one day in the future if the Xcoutals ever produce an identity distinct from Night Stalkers.

        Nature ▬ The Xcoutals are the definition of chaotic neutral but at times borderline close to chaotic good. The ideals of the family depend upon who is asked. While the lineage from which it comes from focuses on stealth and servitude, the official line starting with Xcoutal focuses on tradition and reservation. Tradition and history are of importance and heavy changes or causes of adaptability is met with hostility. They will adapt to survive but will not adapt for convenience. They aren't above to breaking the law or causing disorderly conduct. Best idea would be to think of them similar to Batman in nature but not as horribly written.
        [1] Liquid Wealth ▬ 6? While most assets were lost back in Vacuo money-wise, working as a councilmen is okay money it does not bring in quite a lot of money. A surplus comes from outside donations and the Night Stalkers who tend to pull their money more into a community system in which the Xcoutals are over. The main money make is comes from selling off secrets and espionage information making quite a penny giving information to anyone who wants it no matter their moral compass. They aren't broke by any means but at the same time they aren't pulling in wealthy like a dust company. Especially in these times.
        [2] Land & Property ▬ In Vacuo they owned pieces of land among the outskirts and a few buildings near the capital. However, in Vale Virulent owns around 20 acres of land in the forests that he hasn't built on. Instead, it was transformed into the Night Stalker training facility on part of it while the rest remains forest area. While seemingly not theirs, the heavy presence of Xcoutals closest allies quickly changes such a foolish thought.

        Xcoutal Blaze- Creator of the Xcoutal Nobility line. Was the main player in negotiations with the Revelery and bestowed upon Virulent the Noble line instead of himself. While still alive, he acts more of a historian to the Xcoutal line even though he is officially not of the tree. One could say, he is the side branch.

        Xcoutal Virulent- Main force of the Xcoutal family line. He is the leader of the Night Stalkers and current pure line of the Xcoutal family tree. He servse as minister of Foreign Affairs. Many wonder if he will end up having the family expanded by producing kids. Looks grim though.

        Aeralin Xcoutal-The adoptive daughter of Virulent and next in line of the Xcoutal name. She is currently a student of Beacon Academy and a member of the Night Stalkers.

        XCOUTAL Cheshire: Magical knight who was the founder of the Night Stalkers . The Xcoutal name started with him which became the name of the leader of the night stalkers officially. Once Xcoutal name became noble, his last name was bestowed upon Virulent, creating a psuedo family line.


        Xcoutal Volt: A bridge Xcoutal between Cheshire and Blaze, he is the main creator of many of the main traditions of the Night Stalkers and Xcoutals. He was also the creator of the Xcoutal burial, a celebration and honoring of the deceased brethren.


        History ▬ The Xcoutals are the byproducts of the Night Stalkers.
        With the Night Stalkers not being able to all be recognized as nobility, the claim was given to the leader of the Night Stalkers. The leader is the person who has the rank of Xcoutal. The first Xcoutal of Nobility ended up being Xcoutal Blaze. Xcoutal Blaze was noble who was feared by many and loved by more but he never lived up to the fame of the Reveley family. While others would make enemies, Xcoutal Blaze made alliances in which the Xcoutals and the Reveley were seen as alliance houses. This helped show a sign of solidarity among the forces of Vacuo. This came at a cost.
        The Night Stalkers were reduced to be a specialized guardian group of the Xcoutals and in compliance to the Reveley agreement, they were forced to show their faces. To the Reveley only. The Agreement was officially done under Xcoutal Virulent. However, the passive alliance has always been an unspoken thing but was only now official in writing. Before the official agreement under Virulent, The Night Stalkers held tight to traditions and refused to unmask themselves. Luckily Virulent succeeded where Blaze failed.
        Being relatively new to nobility, the Xcoutals are still trying to find what makes them special and their identity. It seems the Xcoutals may end up being back interwoven into the Night Stalkers. That is, unless Xcoutal Virulent finally marries a woman. How to get in is simple, Born or elected into it. If born from Xcoutal you are part of nobility. If no offspring or next in line is available, the nobility will be transferred to the elected leader of the Night Stalkers who protects the Xcoutal. This causes for the bloodline to be one of un-pure blood, making family be something bound by more than just red ichor..

        General Description ▬ Hailing from the frozen kingdom of Atlas, and being centuries-old natives of the continent of Solitas. These powerful and influential nobles hold tyrannical amounts of power in the frigid kingdom, both due to the overwhelming support of the common people and due to how indispensable their creations are to the upkeep of the high standards of the Atlesian military. While they do not hold nearly as much power in Vale, they still uphold the same ideals they once heralded in Atlas, Dedicating their great technological ingenuity to advancing Vale's military(if only to see that Atlas is liberated sooner still. and to increasing the quality of life for the commonfolk of Vale.

        [1] Liquid Wealth ▬ 7. Controlling the flow of advanced technologies through Atlas and by extension the rest of Remnant. The Maxim family has amassed truly staggering amounts of liquid wealth. However, due to their own familial principles, they are often spending a fair portion of the money they have coming in. This outgoing money is dedicated to research and development, improvement of public health and wellness in Atlas & Mantle alike, as well as to the advancement of Atlas' military endeavors.
        [2] Land & Property In Atlas: the Maxim family had a sprawling estate taking up approximately sixty acres. The primary corporate office could be found in the military district of the city.
        In Mantle: they had numerous factories, warehouses, strongholds, and several well-hidden underground research laboratories, hidden to all but a select few. Even some of the Atlesian council had no idea these labs existed.
        In Vale: Since the Fall of Atlas, the reach of the Maxim family has been much smaller, but within Vale proper, they have their corporate office, One Manufacturing plant, two storage warehouses adjacent to their publicly known research lab and the aforementioned manufacturing plant. And directly beneath that a private laboratory in a well-secured section of what used to be the beacon subway network.
        In Vacuo: Maxim Technologies Incorporated was trying to establish a branch for themselves there to bring new technology to Vacuo around the time the Kingdom fell.
        In Mistral: Maxim Technologies Incorporated had not yet established a foothold in Mistral when it fell.
        In Menagerie: While the branch of M.T.I. that operates in Vale has been in talks with the kingdom of Menagerie to build a branch there, the lack of space in the kingdom, as well as the lack of available resources, had made establishment a difficult endeavor.
        [3] Followers ▬ The Vast majority of citizens in Atlas and Mantle alike are devout followers of the Maxim family. This is due to their stalwart dedication to the improvement of civilian life. Those in the Atlesian Military, both out of respect and out of a desire to remain in the good graces of such an influential family, will often answer directly to some of its members as though they were high-ranking commanders. The fact that many members of the Maxim family have been Generals, or held positions of great power within the council of Atlas, had made this respect all the more deserved.
        [4] Influence ▬ With deep ties to the military of Atlas dating all the way back to the founding of the first settlements every established in Solitas, The Maxim family has been deeply intertwined with the leadership of the region for centuries. With members of the Family often serving as High Ranking Leaders of the Atlesian Military since before the Great War, their influence has been deeply ingrained into the most influential piece of the kingdom's identity. What's more, with this long history comes many longstanding claims to great resource mines, especially unique ores, and metals, around the continent. While the Maxim family does not deal in the dust market directly, they have a dust mine in Solitlas, the yield of this mine is kept purely within the company for research and development usage. Despite staying out of the dust market, It is by the hand of the Maxim family that many potentially dangerous monopolies have been kept from achieving absolute control of the various rare natural resources found on the continent of Solitasm, often using their connections within the kingdom to 'trust-bust' when necessary. Their Dedication to the citizenry of Solitas has also earned them much political sway, and it has been well-documented that the support of the Maxim Family, when placed behind a particular candidate, can dramatically influence the outcome of council-seat campaigns within the kingdom.
        [5] Lineage:
        Vanderheiss Maxim - The founding father of the Maxim family, Vanderheiss was responsible for leading the military campaign that led to the establishment of the first settlement in Solitas. He left behind a legacy of ceaseless battles against the Grimm and the undying support of Human and Faunus prosperity alike. It is by his code of Honor that the Maxim Family lives and breathes. For the Sake of our World, All men must Rise.
        Tyramoore and Juunheind Maxim - These twins are well known in the Maxim Legacy because their conflict with one another set the precedent for all generations who would follow. Having been born about a century and a half after the death of Vanderheiss, these sisters hated each other to the core. Their hatred arising from Tyramoore's interpretation of Vanderheiss' words, which Tyramoore used to try and exclude Faunus from the better Remnant the Maxim legacy sought to create. Eventually, Juunheind won the conflict between the two, and Tyramoore was put to death. Juunheind would go on to be known as the matriarch who turned the Maxim Family, into the Maxim Ascendency. ☠
        Cornelius Maxim - A General of Mantle who is most famous for deciding to side with Wise King of Vale during the Great War, severely weakening Mantle's military structure at a critical time. Though many disputes have been carried out over exactly why he chose this action, the most common theory is that he believed Mantle's stake in the war stood against the Maxim Family Creed. Whatever the case, his decision proved to be the correct one, and the Maxim Family endured. ☠
        Albert Maxim - Son of Cornelius, Founder of Maxim Technologies Incorporated, and former Head Councillor of Atlas. He died three years before Atlas fell. ☠
        Ulbrecht Maxim - Eldest son of Albert and heir to Maxim Technologies incorporated, last seen during the Fall of Atlas. Ulbrecht had a reputation for being equal parts cunning and ambitious, as well as for being able to easily 'decide' if someone is a 'threat' to the Maxim Family's great purpose. His cutthroat ambition led to him rise through the ranks of the Atlesian Military quite quickly in his younger days after he graduated from Atlas Academy, before eventually leaving the military to become the head of M.T.I. after his father's health began to decline, and he was running for the Atlesian council when the Fall of Atlas took place. Many said they saw him taking command of military personnel to great effect before the city was overrun and the kingdom was declared Fallen.
        Lucius Maxim - The second son of Albert, Lucius held a strong interest in the business side of M.T.I. since he was a young boy. When the company expanded into Vale, he moved there to take charge of the proceedings. Lucius would go on to adopt his nephew Jules following a catastrophe involving Lucius's younger sister. He is the only one of Albert's children who is confirmed to be alive at this time.
        Olivia Maxim - Olivia is the youngest of Albert's children. She had held a terrible disdain for Ulbrecht since the time they were kids, this was only worsened by his insistence that she marry for power, effectively trying to reason that her only value was to form alliances since she refused military service and dedicated herself purely to charitable work. She eventually fled to Atlas and married Johnathan K. Ferrast, a man serving under the Ignicis family in Vale. They had three children; Tobias, Anabelle, and Jules Edward. Olivia is confirmed deceased.
        Tobias Ferrast - Son of Olivia Maxim, presumed dead.
        Annabelle Ferrast - Daughter of Olivia Maxim, presumed dead.
        Jules E. Maxim - youngest son of Olivia Maxim, was adopted by Lucius Maxim following a family tragedy. Confirmed to be alive. Jules is studying at Beacon Academy
        Unconfirmed reports - There have been numerous unconfirmed reports that Ulbrecht had several children before the Fall of Atlas, legitimate and illegitimate alike. Similar reports have been made about Lucius, though records say he has never been married. There have been supposed sightings of Tobias and Annabelle since their presumed deaths, but these are unconfirmed and uncorroborated.

        History ▬ With a lineage dating back to the very first settlements founded on Solitas, the Maxim family name is inseparably linked to the frigid continent. Their founding father, Vanderheiss Maxim, led an expansionist movement out of Anima, and up to the continent of Solitas, which had previously been known as entirely inhospitable due to its hostile environment and even more hostile Grimm. Yet Vanderheiss was undaunted, and he rallied Humans and Faunus alike to travel northward. Though many brave souls were lost along the way, with Vanderheiss even losing his lower left arm in the endeavor, they managed to establish what would become the first long-running settlement in Solitas. While that settlement no longer exists, the cobbled streets are still there, buried in the snow, along with a frozen statue of Vanderheiss himself.

        The story of the Maxims continued on long past this settlement though, with his sons being spurred on by their father's firm convictions, and his ever-present creed, they pressed onward, and over time the sons discovered the secret wealth of resources hidden beneath the frozen surface of Solitas. With the belief that their father had led them to a promised land of wealth disguised by ice and Grimm, they set about creating long-lasting settlements as well as drawing more people to Solitas, while they themselves cannot claim to be the founders of what would become known as Mantle, they most certainly played a large part in laying the groundwork.

        A few centuries later, the Battle of the Divided Twins would come to take place, with the sisters Tyramoore and Juunheind Maxim standing on opposite sides of the battlefield. This conflict stemmed from Tyramoore's belief that the wealth of Solitas belonged to Mankind, and Mankind alone. She raised an army of superstitious followers and tried to overthrow the government of Mantle. Juunheind stood against her sister, and in the ensuing battle, Juunheind was said to have struck down not only Tyramoore and several dozen of her followers, but to have also successfully brought down a Teryx that had been attracted by the negativity of the battle, a feat that would not be accomplished again until after Juunheind's death. Juunheind herself would go on to elevate the Maxim name, turning the well-known family into a proper noble one, and bestowing upon it the title of 'The Maxim Ascendency', a Title that would last until after the Great War had ended.

        The Great War itself was a trying time in the Maxim Family's history. With the battle lines drawn, Mantle and Mistral against Vacuo and Vale, with the former fighting for restriction of self-expression and slavery, and the latter fighting for freedom on all counts. The family was tested in a way that it had not experienced in half a millennia. When the chips were down, however, Cornelius Maxim, the Ascendency Patriarch in the latter half of the war, chose to side with the Wise King of Vale. His efforts cut Mantle off from the numerous resources the Ascendency controlled and weakened their army going into the latter half of the Vacuo Campaign. His efforts preserved his family and greatly strengthened their connections to Vale and to Vacuo, as well as to their Faunus followers in Solitas, who likely would've been taken as slaves in the aftermath of the war. Of course... This had its drawbacks, Following the war there was a large outcry among the lesser nobles and among the human populations of Mantle and Atlas, many of whom called for the Exile of the Maxim family. When this was determined to be a course of action that would cause more harm than good a stigmata developed around the Maxim family. That Stigmata led to a loss of business and a decrease in their overall wealth at the time by nearly 80%. All the same, Cornelius stuck by his convictions, and a little over twenty years after the war had ended, the majority population of Atlas and Mantle had finally come to realize that they had been on the wrong side of history. The stigmata over the Maxim name was lifted, As with this shift in the population's understanding of the war, it became clear that Maxim's betrayal had been him upholding his family creed, and standing up for the rights of the less fortunate, as well as to protect the people's freedoms that they had so nearly thrown away. Cornelius would go on to have a son during those years named Albert. To his dying day, Cornelius insisted that the Maxim family should no longer be referred to as 'The Ascendency', though the name would persist beyond his death.

        Albert himself would have his fair share of impacts to, however, deciding to do more than simply use their resources to help people directly, he began working in the field of advancement, and with his brilliant mind at work with a clear goal in sight, Mantle and Atlas advanced in technology by even greater margins than they had during the war. Once the company had firmly established itself, Albert would go on to become the third Head Councillor of Atlas. While it is considered an unimportant detail in the eyes of the family, following Albert's retirement due to declining health, the council stated that it was Maxim Technologies Incorporated and Albert himself who initially came up with the idea to use a special layout of Gravity dust to raise Atlas off of Mantle. Though on his death bed, Albert told his children that this was untrue. He never revealed the real reason why Atlas floats above Mantle, not even in death.

        In the later years of Albert's life, he used his position on the council to establish strong ties to Vale using his Father's deeds during the war as leverage in the process. After Albert's passing, however, his son Ulbrecht took charge of the family, and it became rather common for those few people who knew him well to whisper that Ulbrecht was the family's 'Bad Egg'. Despite this, Ulbrecht had established a long Military career, and he was quite well known for his ruthless and cutthroat use of the Maxim Family's influence in the waning days of Atlas. Ulbrecht successfully established a new branch in Vale, and placed his brother Lucius in charge of it, partly to keep it in the family, and primarily to keep Lucius out of Atlesian Politics, a field Ulbrecht intended to dominate. It is also worth noting, that Ulbrecht was considered to be quite scandalous in Noble circles, and known as quite the skirt-chaser as well. During this time, Olivia would flee to Vale to escape Ulbrecht's attempts to marry her off to a Noble family in Vacuo, in an attempt to establish influence there. The Final sighting of Ulbrecht that is known about in Vale, is that he led a large battalion of soldiers to defend "The Donut" system of tubes that send supplies from Mantle to Atlas. He is considered 'MIA'.

        Finally, in the Modern Era, Lucius has made great attempts to raise Maxim Technologies Incorporated (of Vale) to the same level as the Atlas Branch. Progress has been slow going, and his attempts to reach out to Menagerie to start a branch there as a show of good faith, and an acknowledgment of their worth, have not yet come to fruition. During these intervening years while Lucius was in charge and Atlas was still active, Olivia married and had children. The youngest of whom Lucius would adopt following a tragic attack by a pack of Apathy in the village Olivia called home. This youngest son would go on to bring a second technological and inventive boom to the company, one not seen since the earliest days of Albert's leadership. That son, Jules E. Maxim, is currently attending Beacon academy to bolster the hunters there with his technology, while also learning how to fight like a hunter along the way. Lucius, meanwhile, is hard at work trying to help with the revitalization of Atlas, if only for the sake of using his contributions as a means of preventing what he views to be corrupt leaders of Vale from extorting Atlas for its resources and making a mockery of its proud people.....

╫ Hydras of Atlas╫

        General Description ▬ From Atlas Kingdom, the Hydras are the double edge swords that the land has the pleasure to bear. Their impact tend to mostly end up neutral when you add up the negatives and positives that they accomplish for the kingdom. With each moment of pride, the other side of the family matches it with a moment of chaos and despair. They tend to have a natural affinity for Aura, most having extreme talents in its usage which helps in regards to their service in the military and their dealings underground. Be careful when you dealing with them as they can make for an irreplaceable ally, or an unrelenting enemy. When it comes to the Hydras, there are no rules. There are no ethics. Just results.

        Nature ▬ The nature of the Hydras tend mainly upon how you look at them. The best way to put them is chaotic neutral as they will do anything to get ahead with their goals and thrills rather that be shady dealings, illegal actions or being a military hero. When it comes to the Hydras, there is one that fits the mole on all fronts.
        [1] Liquid Wealth ▬ The Hydras have an abundance of cash on hand. Bail is nothing but a word for them. Their wealth comes from a combination of underground dirty money and money given to them by the government for their military service (in past Atlas and most recently in Vale though not as much given Vale circumstances) and political favors that have paid handsomely for them. This is specifically seen in the underground criminal players of the Hydra family in which they tend to do crimes just for the fun of it instead of actual need of money. Even after the fall of the other Kingdoms do to their dealings and tendency to sleep around there are several accounts set up in Vale alone that the Hydras have access too. This doesn't mean they are the richest people out there. However, their wealth is nothing to sneeze at, generally being able to rival that of moderate size dust companies when you combine the dirty bills with the clean bills. They still are no where near touching those at the very top but they do have a seat at the table and can enjoy the food. 5/10
        [2] Land & Property ▬ (The Hydras have a good bit of land, having a around 3 private mansions throughout their existence that's located in Atlas. Unfortunately do to the fall those lands are left behind but could one day be reclaimed. As far as Vale, the Hydras don't own land persay in name but have places where they are welcome to stay such as shady inns and bars. They do possess a nice plot of land in the town south of Vale where the more shady dealings occur. Usually it gets broken into thanks to no one living there. However, thanks to the fall..security has gotten a little tighter.

        Military Elites and Veterans - This goes from the most serving and lawful to those who don't care how the job gets done as long as the job is done. This influence stems from the high amount of service and consistent strong rankings that the Hydras have had in the Military of Atlas. Even so much so that Military elites are willing to turn a blind eye not only to the shady doings that are done from the other side of the family but even go so far to risk their necks at contracting even the shadest of Hydras just off the records of their past family members. They say each Hydra has that determination in their eyes that make their service more valuable than a clean reputation.


        Villains and SxS Bandits: The Hydras have influence in the underground for their work and accomplishments. The influence of the SxS bandits come easily do to Bashmu being a core member of them (which in the future the influence will grow once he takes over fully) Along side this, their reputation in the streets speaks for themselves. They are killers and this is inherently known. Unfortunately, for some reason they end up getting off or not having evidence plentiful enough to convict them. In most cases, it ends up self defense when it comes to villain x villain activity and when it comes to that of civilians, victims tend to not file charges and get paid off. Those who don't live? No face, no case. Maybe their semblances have something to do with it?


        Politicians: While they have no influence on the council that is known at this time, the Hydras have a strange influence when it comes to politics. This mainly comes down to politicians needing certain votes to pass legislation and would end up calling for the Hydras to make someone go missing whether that means literally missing or assassination. If you a clean cut politician that looking for the greater good without walking path of darkness you resent the Hydras. However, if you not afraid to get your hands dirty, they tend to be the first ones most call.
        [4] Influence ▬ Their influence and reputation cannot be overstated enough. The Hydras have large pool, having influence over many different sectors of life bow lawful and unlawful do to having friends in high places. Their reputation manipulates the masses, bringing fear and respect in their wake. Those who tend to oppose usually are ignorant or uncaring which while most consider this foolish does not make them a target. The ironic part about the Hydras influence and reputation is that it are all side effects and by products of the bigger picture. Getting what their want. Their influence is infectious especially to their specific followers but even those that fall outside the whelm can't help but gossip and wonder about the truth from fiction about them.         History ▬ The Hydras go back to just after the great war between the kingdoms. Zane Hydra was a soldier who did horrific things during the war and caused great advances for Atlas but to no victory. He gave it everything he could. Was the perfect soldier racking up a rumor of over 1k kills just on his own. Either way, Zane would end up retiring as Atlas licked its wounds. This retired soldier would end up marrying a lesser noble. A woman who had money but no true influence in Atlas. With their marriage, the woman would end up taking upon the Hydra name and with the liquid assets added to the military influence, the Hydras were born. Zane would end up having 2 sons, Axon Hydra and Dante Hydra. Dante followed the path of his father, going to the academy and becoming more of a military puppet while Axon didn't like that life. Instead, his life was more to the streets and chaos. Zane would consider this a rebellious phase but that phase would continue and continue. This would bring troubling times to the family as the actions of Axon causing terror would be clashing with the actions of Dante in the military as he broke a few records and climbed the ranks. This ended up being beaten out by Dante continuing to thrive. With the military the main law of the land, this would work into the favor of Hydras. Punishment was less severe for Axon, and Dante continued to have his glory without having it stained by his brothers. As for Zane, the family name grew as he received many different offers from marriage proposals for his sons to shady deals. Zane took many of these offers, using his sons to grow the status of the Hydras. Hypothetically, the beast started to grow more heads. This would lead on to lower generations. Some would go the military path while the more wicked joined the Sternzechen. The Sternzechen was created by Dante and a group name given as sort of a mask for the underground dealings but that mask didn't last forever, causing the sternzechen to be directly tied to the Hydras. The Sternz are the Dark Hydras that hide in the Bright lights of the lawful Hydras. Even with their different approaches and ideas, the family doesn't hate each other. In fact, they understand it completely. In the end it about one thing, achieving what you want to do.

        History of Note:
        ▬ Not much was known to outsiders of their family and the lands they governed over but this is what was known: The Thistledown Family were a lesser-known and lower-ranked Noble family consisting of uncommon Faunus types in Mistral that invested their time and efforts in assisting and overseeing the farming community through trades before the fall dating back to the Great War.
        ▬ The family was providing seeds, making sure the lands were healthy, and insuring rotation for goods throughout the Kingdom before the loss of communication with Vale.
        ▬ The Farming Unions were created as a result of poor treatment (overwork and underpay) in securing Farmers' needs were met by the nobles and hunters/huntresses for the ones tilling the lands. Fair treatment was key to success and times were changing.
        ▬ With some seeds, through research by their own family they would genetically modify some to have a longer life than other produce crops.
        ▬ With the patent intact, the research success for their land and people, they felt assured of the future.
        ▬ They were had always been rumored to have lavish parties under the full and new moons involving questionable activities that bordered on the taboo from time to time. There were other rumors that said they had a monster on their private property (due to the occasional missing guest); no one could really prove either claim. Though, this also contributed to the rumors that they invested in entertainment industries of various questionable tastes as well; whether the rumors were true or not is still to go unanswered.
        ▬ After the fall of Mistral, any rumor and/or further mention of the Thistledown family ceased. The agriculturists that once served them became more independent and trade would go on without them. ╫ The Von Lorenzia ╫

        General Description ▬ Hailing from the sands of Vacuo, the Von Lorenzia are an eccentric bunch, who prevail from loyalty, philanthropy charisma, and over passionate warriors of the past. As the second largest noble family of Vacuo under the Reveley, the Von Lorenzia accentuate their names with many middle names, to commemorate their past warriors who have helped back during the wars when assisting the Reveley. While many lands in Vacuo were destroyed by the invasion, many were once funded by the Von Lorenzia after tying with the Reveley during the wars, and assisting to this day any way they can through charity funding. Their eccentric behavior is not to be underestimated, as through their long lineage of Agatane's, they have proven to be just as fierce in their own way like the other noble families of Vacuo.

        The symbol of the Von Lorenzia consists of gold and orange, with tinges of red among it's crest-work. The color of gold represents their wealth, while the orange and red symbolize their strength. Upon the center is the Von Lorenzia's cane sword, which is an heirloom passed down to each leader. Behind the cane stands an elephant's head, representing new beginnings, with marigolds and feathers framing behind the crest, representing good fortune snd charisma.

        Nature ▬ The Von Lorenzia are borderline lawful neutral/Lawful Good in alignment. They are heavy believers in philanthropy and charity, but are also held in high regard for their loyalty. Those of the Von Lorenzia follow the Equivilant exchange method, and when enemies cross a Von Lorenzia, they do all they can to deal with situations themselves. Those of evil who have tried to harm a Von Lorenzia are put into a fashion that the Lorenzia dignifies as "Returning to the stone's of the earth." Many who have failed to assassinate the Lorenzia and allies of other families are currently beneath the feet of the good.
        With the previous Lorenzia's actions leaving a stain on the family name, lawful neutral has been their go to notion, and the lawful good is towards what they give to those in need. This is included with equality for faunus and human rights on equal levels, and the past virtues of assisting the funding of Vacuo's academy through the years. They hope to see their past actions come through into present, in order to ensure humanity still remains as strong as the original years of Vacuo had been over the course of 200 years.

        [1] Liquid Wealth 5- The Von Lorenzia have managed to salvage a lot of their wealth, due to their vacationing of the remaining members of the noble family. A lot of their money was lost back in Vacuo, but to this day they have been making up for it with business ship and funding among the current head's council position. With the small lots they own, the ones living in those houses also provide rent money, after being put into jobs around Vale by the Lorenzia when those lots they bought were opened to refugees who managed to get out of the dangers of destruction.

        [2] Land & Property 7- Majority of the Lorenzia's land is over ridden by the grimm in Vacuo, which they one day plan to reclaim once they are able to. Those lands were used to build settlements for people of Vacuo, and had been their main way of wealth and growth, which also included the main Lorenzia castle, which is as old as the beginning of the Lorenzia nobility. Whether it is still standing strong or is destroyed... Is a gamble they wish to see the result of.
        Aside from those settlement lands, in Vale they currently own the Von Lorenzia mansion on the more wealthier side of Vale, which used to be a vocational home the Von Lorenzia used for travel and stay when visiting Vale. In Vale they also own a few smaller lots, that were bought for providing housing for refugees. They also own a smaller villa in Atlas for the same reasoning, which was built after sending donation for funds to military funding over 100 years ago, by the hands of the 8th Agatane Von Lorenzia.

Majority of their influence is from the help they have given, and the equal respect towards all races. Despite considering the Reveley to have their most respect, they have been looking to rebuild without using ally influence towards their reputation, doing what they can to make things right again for not just the family, but for it's future members.

Having been there to fight in the wars, this was the one man who tied the relationship of the Von Lorenzia and the Reveley into stone along history.

        Agatane Amour Jensen Thomas Samual Kersteine Von Lorenzia the 3rd - This Von Lorenzia was the beginning benefactor of bringing along philanthropy and charity into the noble family, having gathered the tools to contributing to Vacuo's academy, and it's future teachings.

        History

        The Von Lorenzia are old blood, who date back to 200 years ago in the history of Vacuo during the great war. They became a line of nobility after the first head of the family had assisted in the main line alongside members of the Reveley. The Von Lorenzia nobility was given to the 1st Agatane Von Lorenzia, when he was the age of 24, and his young legacy had started a two century amount of history. The history in itself ties as a secondary faculty of nobility, allied with the Reveley, helping the Reveley with a print of history on assisting the proper laws and order of Vacuo's system.

        Through the years, the Von Lorenzia were specialized in charisma, bravery, intellect, and possessing a deep rooted heart towards equality of both faunus and human alike. When hunters and huntresses had become a thing, the Von Lorenzia had contributed plenty of resources to Vacuo's future warriors by contributing funds of income for the families of those fighters. Down the line, when Vacuo's academy had been built, the Von Lorenzia were the first in line to donate a large sum of money towards its weapons class, and literature resourced. They of course, had ways of their own for raising funds in keeping the family itself profitable. With shelters of safe haven for refugees and faunus suffering the hardships of life, the Von Lorenzia were responsible for the forming of laws to the hunters rights. They also made business alongside the Reveley's, as well as being a benefactor of partnership into the licensing system for hunters in the making.

        A long line of history built behind this older family line had lead to the Von Lorenzia becoming part or Vale's council, after their services towards hunters, huntresses, and their families. The first to be approved and voted for the position of labor, a Von Lorenzia had always won the position. That was.... Until Mistral was destroyed. Agatane Von Lorenzia the 12th, had the family line kicked from the council, almost down the hole of forgotten memories. The 12th head of the family had attempted on destroying the council running at the time through the ability of their Arson Vision... Only to have been tried for treason and was put away with a life sentence. Such a feat had tarnished the long running family reputation, and it was almost believed the Von Lorenzia name was over. That was... Until the destruction of Vacuo. With only half the family line remaining by being on vacation in beacon during the destruction of Vacuo... The 13th and 14th head of the family had perished, leaving the current head of the family in charge. Agatane the 15th had kept the family in high hopes, donating money towards the future life of rebuilding Vacuo, should the day ever arise. He had also used the old legacy motto, and gained the hearts of approval during election, by ensuring homes to many surviving refugees, having bought a few lots in Beacon to build apartments. The final stroke of luck to have the Von Lorenzia back into play in the council was the contributing donation of lien he had done towards beacon academy. The Von Lorenzia of old, mow the path forward to the future, with an endless amount of hope, charisma, bravery, loyalty. and philanthropy following their path. Forever strong. Forever Lorenzia.

        Symbol ▬ The family symbol is a star with with a glowing eye in the center. This symbol is meant to resemble insight gained from exploration of the unknown, which space represents to Remnant. Its meant to signify the advances man has made through their own experimentation and exploration of the unknown; part of what made the family as successful as they were.
        General Description ▬ The Sanguis are an old family who originally hailed from Mistral. Known as knowledgeable, skilled, and geniuses in the medical field, they have been renowned and in power for decades (between Vale and Mistral). They are best known for their hospitals and medical services; it being rare to find any member not in the medical field.
        Nature ▬ The Sanguis family is one steadfast in tradition and efficiency. To be a noble, one must act as is dictated by such a title; with grace, dignity, and control. Appearance especially is crucial to them; done not only by garb but by mannerism as well. They are in general lawful neutral; following their own moral code to the letter but being open to beneficial or at times questionable methods for the greater good. Advancement comes at a cost; one many of them are willing to take. The loss of one or two lives is worth it if it saves many more.

Being part of the council, and having had a lot of time to be firmly entrenched in the medical industry as well as services in Vale, the Sanguis family has a lot of liquid wealth to do with as is deemed necessary. In a world ravaged by Grimm, medicine to keep people alive is highly profitable.
        [2] Land & Property ▬ The family had owned a few estates, medical supply industries, and hospitals back in Mistral; though what happened to such infrastructure after its fall remains unknown. Ever since moving to Vale, they have tried their best to re-establish themselves as such. While only owning one estate here, the efforts of the senior members of the family has led them to own a few hospitals and medical supply buildings.
        [3] Followers ▬ Followers can range from those who have benefitted from their medical expertise, those who still consider them nobles from their past standings in Mistral, and the people of Vale who believe in strong medical funding.
        [4] Influence ▬ The family has much influence as part of the council, and from their past history of rule, they typically exude the authority of nobility. Many who have been injured or need medical care for illness know the power and potential benefit the family brings to them, and those who have benefitted from their treatments typically view them well.
        [5] Lineage
        ▬ Notable members: William and Elizabeth were the founding members of the family, having established themselves as proficient doctors in olden times and using such fame/success to expand. The pair led to many medical advancements and eventually their own hospitals and medical supplies.
        Alread is the eldest member of the family at present, and the primary reason the family is still nobility even in Vale. Through his hard work and efforts after the fall, he managed to save his family from fading from history and re-assert them in their rightful position in society.

        History ▬ The family started off as little more than a married couple who excelled in the field of medicine, pioneering many of the advancements in Mistral. In a world ravaged by Grimm and other opposing nation, medicine was a necessary and vital service/business. As they grew in renown for their advancements, skill, and knowledge, the duo began investing in the infrastructure and structures of the industry they worked in. An integral part of their success was the use of more holistic methods from nature rather than synthetic or artificial means. Over time, they established a hospital in their name, and successive generations of this family would continue to accrue wealth along with land. It came to the point they controlled much of the medical industry; and when you control the power of life and death, people tend to look up to you. It was not long after they would transition from simply wealthy doctors to nobility who were in charge of health. Their hospitals were lavishly decorated in themes of natural environments while also full of plant life and herbal gardens to be a bit self sufficient. This was until the fall of Mistral; it is unknown the status of their old holdings, but believed many of which are now destroyed. Upon coming to Vale, the family had been poor and bereft of much of their wealth. However, Alfred had stepped up at the time; throwing himself into the medical field with vigor and expertise. He quickly rose in fame among the populous with his own family methods and treatments that were not yet popularized here. He rose quickly in the medical field to head of the medical community; using the wealth gained from this, he began to buy out competing businesses and hospitals till the family had a near monopoly and were given the position of the council member of health. Ever since, Alfred has done his best to set up his family for the future here in Vale.

        General Description ▬ A human clan who's members have eyes that glow and rivet with their designated aura color whenever their semblance is activated, The Caerlum Rosalia clan is all about the highly praised and rather diverse fighters of their clan. Once stemming from a large trading port town next to the sea brimming with unique tech which were quite advanced for its time, this almost extinct clan has had its fair share of misfortune in the hands of Grimm.

        The symbol of the clan is a golden, thorny and pale golden rose with a blue backdrop. The rose is the symbol of their clan's eternal ephemeral beauty, as well as harboring the color blue in their sigil symbol for their noble class.
        Nature ▬ Their nature can be surmised as 'Neutral Good' on the D&D Roleplay scale. Their fair-working, expressionally reserved, and widespread trading and entrepreneurship peoples often boiled their skills down to one thing: the survival, continuation and advancement of their clan's future generations. They have no qualms about bending the rules altruistically, aslong as it served to preserve themselves and propagate their way of life.

Since very few of the clan still exists, there's not much they can still cling to things that would be called their own. The families who did survive, however, were often well-off and were able to maintain a set amount of wealth due to the fact that they took care of themselves and were people who are considered to be avid hard-workers.

        Vale - Reikka and her immediate family own a small mansion in Vale, as well as a small transporting business for various goods and luxury items.

        [3] Followers ▬ Maids of Cerulean Manor - The maids who live with Reikka and her family in Cerulean Manor are great military service ladies, and not to mention secretly trained assassins. They are there to defend the family at all costs, and most of them are recruited at a young age and given the secret history of the family to read before they are accepted into the the family business of defending the family's keep.
        [4] Influence ▬ During the peak of their existence, the clan ruled a small town situated at the coast, their influence and businesses spreading and beginning to take root in other towns before their Great Fall. Now, most of what they own is privately-owned, aside from their goods transporting business which they share with outsiders and various business partners.

She can be surmised as a kind of wall-flower, someone who struggles to find her own identity despite being born into prestige.

        Robert Hunisse Cerulean - Reikka's Father, head of the Cerulean family and owner of Cerulean Transport Industries and a good man. Though he and his wife are getting old, they still maintain a tight grip on their influence and properties, hoping to leave it all to their only daughter when their time for passing on comes. He mostly seen with his wife Aeva, and they are very close, having built a name and home for themselves throughout the years.

        Aeva Annie-Maria Cerulean - Reikka's biological mother and wife of Robert. She has watched her daughter and husband grow up and old throughout the years. A strangely proud and private woman who loves her family dearly, but is often a mystery to everyone else around her since she mostly keeps to herself and is a bit of an isolationist, but is often at the same scene with her husband and being affectionate often times towards her daughter, Reikka.

        History ▬ In a town that bordered the mountainous forests and ocean beaches of the tip of the continent, there quietly lay a town 100 years or more prior to the main opening of the story, approximately two generations ago. That town harbored the unique clan of 'Shifters', also known as those who's eyes changed whenever their semblances were active. They established that town during that era, an era where modern weapons were still in its early stages, and this clan prospered in their trade, economic and entrepreneurial pursuits. The town boomed and grew during it's 300 years of existence, until one day an army of Grimm swiftly invaded their premises and destroyed everything that the Shifters stood for. During a continuous Grimm siege that lasted several months, its inhabitants eventually fled and scattered, their survivors were numerous but disorganized as they ran from their piece of civilization that they had upheld for so long. After being forced from their home and reduced to starting again in less familiar grounds, the Shifters descendants were all that was left of that town, and never again was there anything else like it. Their weapons were eventually scrounged by pirates and archeologists, people who could get past the hoardes of Grimm that still haunt that location, and took at as their own. But due to their overtly simple designs and unknown mechanisms, they were quickly deemed as subpar, unusable or ancient.

        It was never known why the Grimm suddenly decided to overtake their town, nor why they had to lose their home. It was said that a Grimm spawn point suddenly appeared there, as a joke to those who lived. Others say it was more like a curse brought upon them by the Gods. All we know was that the Grimm were attracted to a very negative event that had befallen the townspeople. But whatever the case may be, that town no longer exists on the map, and those who came from that clan were thought to have died off. A hundred years have passed since that tragedy at the continental coast, and only stories remained of a time and era long-forgotten and deemed irrelevant in the history books. Much of what was written of that town were never even accurate, and many facts have been long forgotten to the waves and ebbs of passing time. Only Reikka and Valleria were confirmed to be sole descendants of the ancestors who lived in that town, and their eye color shifted in a very specific way that no other clan ever did. However, despite the rarity of their human kind, as currently known to modern consensus, very few people were even aware of how such a lineage survived, and what made them different from the rest. A lifetime or two has passed since the fall of that town, and the area where town used to stand has been reduced to ruins.
