Poppy has very little recollection of her younger years, she recalls living in a very isolated area of the world and knew she had a family, a mother, a father and siblings.

Poppy lived with siblings, a loving family and in an unfortunate event this was stolen from her forever when she opened her mouth to sing.
When Poppy sang, it was like someone had stolen an angel and placed it in a child's body, but not only that - those she sang for would heal, wounds and emotions would soothe and rooms would be lifted through the sound of it. On an important meeting in which her family accompanied her father to Vale, she was in the gardens of a chapel playing with her siblings when she began to sing for her brother who had fallen and hurt his knee. As innocent as it was, others' ideas weren't as innocent. Poppy and her siblings were attacked, the guards attempted to defend her, however her capturers overpowered them and she was stolen then and there for what would be the rest of her life. She was knocked out so hard she didn't wake for days after, her only memory of this event is being chained in a cage in a dark room.

Poppy's life for the next few years was pure hell. She was sold to bandits, groups, wealthy families and was abused, tortured and all because of her voice. When Poppy would fight back, her family safety would be threatened, and even though she was unaware of what family they were referring to, this eventually manipulated her into becoming a silent slave, agreeing to whatever terms the current family or group would have for her. She was a performing monkey for them, and would be forced to sing and perform until she passed out from exhaustion. She would be assigned to help groups with missions, healing their wounds and being chained up throughout.
At the age of around 10, Poppy had been with a wealthy family for 2 years and had develop friendships with the children of the family. She would play in secret with the other children. On a day out, Poppy was brought along - and as every life event so far for her, it is a day she is still tortured by now. The cart was attacked by members of a group who called themselves the 'Tribe' who were going to kill the entire family if something wasn't done. The abuser, the father, offered her as payment for their lives to be saved, and once the bandits agreed, she was enslaved to them for years of her life.
For years, she worked for the tribe that was under the control of the 'Macbeth' family. Assigned to a certain quarter of the camp, was where she met her manipulator - Apex. Apex had a certain way with words, she would build Poppy up, make her believe that she could do anything, yet powerless to get out and stupid to even consider it. When Poppy was a young teenager, she was on a mission with a group and when they were all killed by an older fighter who destroyed her shackles and let her go free. She was free for about 2 hours, before Apex caught her and ordered her minions to clip the girls wings.
The next few hours will haunt Poppy forever, they hacked away at her wings, pulling feathers from the roots and breaking her left wing badly. Her powers weren't strong enough to heal such a traumatic injury fully, however were enough so that she could still use them in secret. She still suffers from pain in them to this day, and is ashamed and embarrassed when she fans them out, as the torture is obvious. As she becomes more powerful, her ability is able to heal her broken wing a little more, she keeps hope that one day they will be fully fixed. Poppy keeps her wings folded away most of the time, they are large and will always be on show, however ignores them most of the time.
She worked under Apex, healing the girl when she would come back from a killing spree and singing for the tribe at feasts to cheer souls. Singing is the only thing Poppy gets solace from, however she views it as both a blessing and a curse due to her life experiences so far being used for it.

She began to feel a bit more free, this was freedom she had never been given in her life, but it was all a manipulation tactic by Apex - who had vowed to make Poppy into a fighter, an asset for the Tribe.
Poppy was on a food hunt with a group of tribal hunters, when once again, the older fighter appeared - killed the hunters and freed Poppy. Instead of running, the man offered his protection to Poppy, he would become her first and only friend for the next few years. His name was Edward, and the rest was a mystery. Edward would feed, clothe and protect Poppy and became like a father to her. Poppy was trained by him, using her inner strength to learn to fight with her fists and use her broken wings to maneuver around a battlefield. He taught her how to use her broken body to survive, and to one day take revenge on everyone that had ever hurt her.
Edward let Poppy stay with him for years, they stuck together through thick and thin and he taught her everything she needed to know with regards to fighting and surviving.

It can also fire one bullet before needing to reload, something that isn't a quick process. █Melee Form ▬ A pair of bright silver coloured gauntlets, they aren't too bulky but have reinforced knuckles so she packs a punch. There is a small part on the wrist that she is able to insert the dust into, in order to add certain elements to one attack. Within the gauntlets she can press a button and turn it into four blades, more like claws, these help with movement and fighting. █Ranged Form ▬ She can fire one bullet per post before having to spend a post reloading, this is not a very effective ranged weapon but can still be used to hit something more stationary. █Other Form(s) ▬ █Ammo Type ▬ Physical ammo, dust rounds. █ ▬ This weapon is only as fast as Poppy, who is relatively slow and relies more on brute force. Poppy and her siblings were attacked, the guards attempted to defend her, however her capturers overpowered them and she was stolen then and there for what would be the rest of her life. She was knocked out so hard she didn't wake for days after, her only memory of this event is being chained in a cage in a dark room.

Edward passed away that night, Poppy had never been so heartbroken in her life. She would have gone through the torture all over again if it meant bringing Edward back. Once he was given a proper burial by her, she packed her bags and headed to Beacon, to find this 'special individual' that she had no idea about. Poppy would make Edward proud, and she thinks about him often and dearly.

█PRIMARY WEAPON █ ▬ Infinity Gauntlet █ ▬ The Infinity Gauntlet is a pair of silver gauntlets that radiate a white light, which she is able to load with dust to add the effects to her attacks. This gauntlet has 4 blades within it that she can bring out for using to stab and slash her way through someone or something. It can also fire one bullet before needing to reload, something that isn't a quick process. █Melee Form ▬ A pair of bright silver coloured gauntlets, they aren't too bulky but have reinforced knuckles so she packs a punch. There is a small part on the wrist that she is able to insert the dust into, in order to add certain elements to one attack. Within the gauntlets she can press a button and turn it into four blades, more like claws, these help with movement and fighting. █Ranged Form ▬ She can fire one bullet per post before having to spend a post reloading, this is not a very effective ranged weapon but can still be used to hit something more stationary. █Other Form(s) ▬ █Ammo Type ▬ Physical ammo, dust rounds. █ ▬ This weapon is only as fast as Poppy, who is relatively slow and relies more on brute force. If an attack misses with a dust round, the round is rendered useless and she must remove it.

█*NAME ▬ Radiance █*AURA COLOR ▬ Bright white light aura █*DESCRIPTION █ ▬ - Although she doesn't engage in much interaction, when Poppy opens her mouth and begins to sing, it is a very different story. Poppy has the ability to soothe and mend wounds by singing any tune she wishes, as long as it is a melody. She creates her own songs, sings different verses and also copies songs - as long as it is a melody with words, wounds of many types can be healed. █*LEVEL 0 ▬ Poppy's song can heal bruises, cuts, fractures and smaller broken bones. She can soothe muscle pain but cannot heal torn or damaged muscles. Her song has to last for 2 posts (trailing off at the end of the second) in order to take their full effect, and she must wait 5 posts until she is able to sing again. She must be touching the individual in order to heal their wounds. █*LEVEL 1▬ Poppy's song can now heal torn and damaged muscles, ligaments and tendons. She can heal larger bones. She can repair skin to a certain degree, depending on how large the area and deep the wound. Her song lasts for 2 posts before she must wait for 5 posts to do it again. She can now heal someone at a distance of 5ft as long as she is looking at them. Poppy can heal certain damages to organs, she cannot heal a heart. █*LEVEL 2▬ All of the above, Poppy can now heal those around her as long as they are within 5ft of her (two people max). Her song lasts for 2 posts and she must wait 5 posts before singing again. █*LEVEL 3 ▬ Poppy can now heal up to 4 people within a 6ft radius of her. It lasts for 2 posts and she must wait 5 posts before singing again. Poppy can heal a damaged heart but cannot bring someone back if they are already dead or about to die within 2 posts. █*DRAWBACKS ▬ When Poppy sings she is extremely vulnerable, it takes a lot of her energy and concentration to heal someone and the more severe the wound the easier the target she becomes. If Poppy is unable to form words from her mouth, her semblance is rendered useless. She can hum and make a nice tune but it will not heal or effect anyone. Poppy simply can't bring someone back from the dead, she can heal a damaged organ but if too severe or the person is going to die she can't help them. Poppy can't really move when singing with a purpose to heal, she can sing if being moved (for example, a team member places her on their back or she's flying but not moving). Poppy can take a few steps, about a metre from when she starts singing. If Poppy is restrained or pushed/pulled too suddenly then her semblance stops and she must wait the cooldown period until she can begin again. If Poppy tries to sing to heal before the cooldown is over, a faint light will appear around her however to no effect.
