Theater -
Ah, theatre!..... Legitimate theatre, dinner theatrem, Broadfway, the fastest way to ERmitt's heart is the theatre districxt. Emitt adores watching stories and dramatizations of tings, and will gladly sit if it's something on a stage. He's not overly picky and doesn't generally feel complaining does any good -- and sometimes he'll try to audition to act himself if he's egged on by his sister enough (It is not hard). The drama, the energy, the props the stories, all of it enchants him and he can't stay away. - even if his father wishes he stopped trying to beg for season tickets to a theatre or dinner joint. Sigh.

Reading -
Theatre is a passion but Emitt knows a good education is more important than a good acting appetite and Emitt often burties his nose in a book finding a passion that pays and will let him look after his family. Emitt takes this seriously, and while he doesaa adore fiction titles, his reading habits do tend to follow where his thoughts are, and his audio book library matches. Reading is important to him too -- he learned to read before his mother gave himself and his sister uyp to his father, and he used to read to his fratyernal twin every day to help her cAtch up -- a memory that keeps his nose in the booksd.

Creating
Emitt loves making things. Stories, costumes, clothing, stufffies, his own books -- Emitt loves to CREATE in most formas -- especially painting and writing, but none of iut is specialized. Is he creating? Then he's happy. Emitt will often collect pine cones and leaves, make wreaths,m oir handcraft his own cvostumes for parties, Haloween, or other festivitiews. He jusyt fgeels free making things, and his proudest creation is his sister's favorite teddy bear. If she's comforted and happy, so too, is he.

Virtues:

Wise beyond his YearsEmitt has Seen Some s**t and grew up far more quickly than most should and while there's negative effeects, he's developed a wisdom for it well beyondf his years that he employs daily. He thinks more like an adult more often than not, and happily shares his insights. He might not be academically there, but socially and emotionally, Emitt acts much older than he really is, usually to his or his family's benefit, as he can navigate social situatyions more easily than most his age, making him a good person for others his age to talk to regarding teenage dramas.

Caring
Emiytt loves his family, especially hios sister. He cartes abouit his friends, and he fusses, looking after friendfs and family, even if sometiumes his fussing is incessant nagging. Emitt tries to takerew the burden off his loved ones, tries to help friends, evem He'll make soup if someone is sick, offer a shoulder or an awkward hug, and generally show he does give a whit about someone. And, even if he's not good with new people he ddoes care about the world in a capacity, if limited. He'll act like he doesn't, cut he'll help others if they look to need him, looking grumoppy all the way, if only because he doesn't want people to think he's a weenie.

Forgiving
Everyone makes mistakes hey no it's OK Emitt forgives you please stop crying! Emitt is the soft touch who will forgive others. Opponents, people who wrong him or his family -- if you seem genuinely sorry Emitt will forgive and forget. He might remember, but he forgives. He's not an unforgiving sort even if he tries to act it, and he's remarkably gentle at times forgiving. He knows nobody's opoerfect, and he'll offer his forgiveness, if people really want it. It's okay.

Works well with others
You don't need to give off warm fuzzies to work with someone and you don't need to be a fluffball to make allies. Emitt understands working with others and friendshgip isn't so mutually exclusive and will gladly pull his weight in a team, sharing information transparently and generally making himself helpful and useful. He will happily offer his own resources and skills for the team, and if confreeonted with a challenge? He acxtually ofgfers an olive branch and cooperation over conflict because really, what is fight first. Why? It's better to find a team.

Flaws:

Cold to New Faces
Who the hells are you? Emitt is a good person and yes, can be called sweet, but... He's sorty of standoffish and cold. Not mean or nasty, just... Cold. You know the feeling of creepy you get if someone stares and doesn't speak much? He's like that -- he doesn't socialize well and he's fairly bad at making the first move of presenting hisa best foot forward. He's better with people he knows, and he doesn't really cause trouble, he's just... Cold, distant, and cautious, making him seem relatively cold fishlike.

Theatric b*****d
Emitt has no problems playing up the dramatics. He's taken CLASSES in SCHOOL, he MUST practice. And when he's set off, he's off. Oftten, to the annoyance of others, and while it's not always bad and can ber funny... Seriuously, he has no sense of timing it well sometimes or he's just being a s**t. Is he even any good? Well the existence of his chops, my good soul, is not for you to ascertain!...Yes, he will be that dramatic, and bratty about it.

Proud
Emitt is awesome. His family is awesome. His friends are awesome. And Emitt KNOWS. He's pulled himselg up by the bootstraps when knocked down, he's endured the hatrrowing peril of childhood, he's taken drama classes, he's a college-level reader... Emitt knows his accomplioshments and of course he's proud of them all and he will make sure others rewwmember it. Usually by reminding them when it annoys them. He's awesome. And his family? All awesome. Especially his favorite sibling, and if you say otherwise THEN he might cave and hit someone. Do not question his awesomeness or worse, his family's or his friends'. He. Will. NOT. TOLERATE.

Ruthless
Anger Emitt? Refuse to see reason and work with him, be his friend-- BRTEAK HIOS BROTHER OR SISTER'S HEARTS OR WORSE, HIS FATHERS'!? Then Emitt will do anything to see you pay. Emitt is ruthless and prepared to resort to verbally terrorizing someone, or worse, popping them in the jaw. He will do what it tAKES TO Make you wish you didn't do anuything to him, his loved ones, or anything or anyonew else he cartes for, all whilew making a horrible drama of it, because THAT'S EMITT.
