Hobbies: Books and Reading"Find what you love and stick with it." Leslie loves books and reading and has been a voracious reader since childhood. When other children were out running wild and trying to play tag, Leslie was walking around, nose in some book ore another. Reading is precious to him and while literature is his major, books are his lifeblood. He's even built up a small but respectable library in his spare bedroom with some of the riches his parents left him in his trust fund. Seriously. The man is very much a book fiend, and used to get pushed into the muds for it, to his horror. His favorite books are books on mythology, and poetry, though somewhere he has a dusty copy of some H.G. Wells. He'll never turn down a book though. So long as it's a book for reading.
Learning Leslie LOVES learning. If he wasn't also raising a child, he would load up on more classes than his already full day and go, buyt he does substitute with books and documentaries, and barring those, skill websites. He just finds these things interesting and feels learning is never a time wastyer. He's an attentive student and enjoys picking up knowledge like some people pick up chips. Seriously, he'll sit there for hours doing homework and listening to audiopbooks to learn AND do homework, or studyu a topic then teach his child. So long as he learns as well? S'all good.
Doing Edutational things with his childLeslie wanted to be a father more than anything and now that he's raising his precious, dfarling, wonderful child, he wants to give them the best education he can. Aside that, doing things with his little one is fun! Leslie will often seek age and maturity educatiuonal toy or make-a-blank kits, or toy making kits, etcetera, to teach and entertain his little one while also having fun with them. If he's spending time edutaining them, then life ius in perfect harmony and all is well. He has even gotten a saubscrtiption to a STEM kit service to do things with his child, and yes, his bedtime reading does range from kid's books to educational bnooks about the world, and he'll never turn down being asked to do educational things wityh his child. Or anything really -- but edutation time is a special, precious time thaat Leslie always keeps things on hand for.
AlwaysVirtues: AltruisticLeslie will give someone the shirt off his back if they're cold. The man cares deeply for others and dislikes seeing them suffer -- when he can, he'll do what he can to help people he meets, and asks nothing in return. In fact, the sheer idea of a reward is beyond him and leaves a bad taste in his mouth, unless the person insists. He's noit really helping to benefit himself. He just likes to help and has the sort of personality to do so. We're all on this planet together, and Leslie is intent on making sure it's a good experience.
Comforting Something about Leslie is often a comfort to others. Mind, he'll comfort anyone he sees in distrewss, but his presence and general behaviour can sooth others and make them feel like everything is okay. Safe. And it's something he tries to cultivate, to make himself seem less terrifying and more of a soothing presence. To that end he often tries to offwer his reassurances or a hug to others, or eeven comforting words of support -- it's nothing aspecial, merely... Him.
KnowledgeableLearning is fun! Reading is fun! Because Leslie is an education fiend, he will generally go out of his way to learn. And not half-a** it -- he's generally knowledgeable about things he runs into, thanks to plenty of books and reading and learning. While not an expert by far, he is knowledgeable about things enough people tend to ask his opinion or insight into things. He usually has a gist of the situation, and if not? He knows one way to find out before opening his fat mouth.
Flaws: Hyper sensitiveLeslie hates the suffering of others. Their woes and trials touch him and yes, he will even cry. Leslie juyst... Hurts when others hurt to a less than helpful degree. He cries, he overcompensates for the prioblem, and can become a PEST if he feelsa someone is hurting too much. He has thin skin and can't cope well when he senses pain, and if he's given hell himself, he can become quiet, withdrawn, and distant. He's just terribly oversensitive and feels just overmuch enoughh that it can become dehabilitating as he weeps or wiothdraws, and then he'll criticize himself. It's just niot pretty when he's set off. At all.
ShitlordTROLL. Leslie is a colossal TYROLL to 99.8% of the population on a grand scale and only a little to that last .2%. Leslie likes to mess with people -- nothing harmful, but he messes with peoiple. Maybe it's becy convincing them he can do something, or witholding important information only to dump it after the fact -- or maybe by doping something absolutely tricksy to mess with people. That's annoying, but not terrible. Noi, this is also one of hius few non-book forms of entertainment. So he might tell you he's making mushroom stew for supper if you dislikme mushrooms, or hwe might tell someone he's got a gift but they need to find it. Now if he'd stop grinning like a madman when he's messing pewople that'd be great.
Easily MisledLeslie is not a leader. He's a happy follower -- give him a sob story or tell him he's NEEDED for THE GOOD OF OTHERS and off he goes down the road to do whatever, without asking many questions, because people are inherently good... Right? This has led to manyt awkward situations that he's realized a bit late were people just using him, which sucks and hurts, but... He can't help but want to believe he's doing good, even if he's actually doing something meant to embarress him or just use or harm him somehow. It's just... How he is.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Blue-purple, a mix of round and narrow.
Hair: Ash. It's a little blonde, and a lot grey. It's long too, down to mid-shoulderblade and wavy to slightly curcly, and definatyely fluffy. He often ties it in a high ponytail, or in a braid.
Face: Long, narrow, and somehow strong. Leslie has a strong nose and full lips, as well as muttonchops trimmed close to the jaw that try and fail to form a moustache, but make it u[p to equalling the top of his lower lip. The man has odd tastes.

I DONEVEN KNOWBody Type: Leslie is tall and sort of a noodle. Only sort of -- he's more filled out than a typical string bean but there's not a ton of muscle there beyond enough to do heavy lifting.
Clothes: Layers upon fancy layers. He loves looking his best, he just can't shop for himself so his best friends usually have to prevent fashion disasters. Bey everything has layers and breathes, so yeah.
