Name: Luminous - It doesn't remember what its original name was, but it vaguely remembers someone calling it that
Nickname: Lumi, Creepy, Fishy Fish
Gender/Pronouns: 'It', as it lacks enough personhood to have a concept of gender for itself. It will accept all gender terms used for it, though.
Age: Uncertain. Its been around for a number of years, but it doesn't remember time well. It has an ageless quality.

Hobbies: Prowling/hunting - It enjoys wandering about and does it almost ceaselessly, looking for things to drain and eat. Because of its eyes, dark, unexplored or abandoned places draw it to snoop into every corner and crevice, looking for forgotten treasures.
Hoarding - On occasion, if it finds something that catches its interest that it doesn't immediately try to eat, it hides it away for safe keeping like a squirrel. As often as not, it forgets about it after, but it enjoys the act of hiding something it likes.
Swimming - It enjoys spending time in water, whether actively swimming about, or hiding and waiting to ambush things. Earth water is different than things in the rift, and its a novel experience.
Virtues: Patient - It has an a large store of patience, able to tolerate uncomfortable situations or people for long periods of time if it deems it appropriate. Good things comes to those who wait. Pests, when ignored, often get bored and leave it alone. Sitting quietly in the dark can lead to a satisfying ambush of its prey.
Focused/Dogged - When set to a particular task, like hunting, it can be very single-minded and focused. It will track its prey for miles, stalk it for hours, before striking at the right moment. Outside distractions are ignored in favor of its goal. If commanded properly, it will pursue that task until it manages to finish it, short of being dusted.
Flaws: Scatter-brained - when not directly focused on something, It has a hard time keeping its thoughts together. It forgets short term things easily and needs repeated instructions or repeated encounters, to make a lasting impression. Its easily distracted in this state, pulled off course to chase a white rabbit (to eat). It has an easier time remembering very old events and people its seen a lot, but most of those places and people no longer exist.
Predatory - everything is food if you are determined enough. Even things that shouldn't be. It will attempt to hunt and kill just about anything, whether or not its been commanded to or needs the energy. Its a drive it has a difficult time resisting, and if it hasn't been focused on a task, it'll often wander off to find something to hunt. Its also not terribly safe to be around if you can't fend it off, as weakness is a sign of prey.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Pale, milky color built for seeing in dark places. Extremely large eyes for its skull, but the lids are often over them, shielding them from too bright light.
Hair: Not hair so much as tendrils and frills, bio-luminescent strands scattered through. A particularly large and long one juts out forward and hangs down, much like an angler fish.
Face: vaguely humanoid, with a seam from 'ear' to 'ear' that is actually the true extension of its mouth. Lips form a false mouth at the front that appears more humanoid, but when it opens its mouth its head is nearly bisected, displaying a horrifying amount of needle teeth (a bit like an angler fish).
Skin Tone: Greenish blue
Body Type: Lithe and lean, covered in fish like scales, fins and tendrils. Its joints are knobby and its fingers are particularly long and spidery.
