You cannot keep this girl from her goals. She has an innate desire to learn everything she can about anything that catches her interest. What’s in that cave over there? Could it kill her? Maybe- but that’s not going to stop her from finding out for herself. She has no sense of danger having been guarded by her mother, sister, and really her whole tribe as one Azehra’s first precious blooms; she just expects that she will be safe and taken care of. Zinnia strives to prove that Azehra is just as strong as Aisha and that she herself can be as strong or skilled as any of her Cousins. To that end she relentlessly pursues her training with seemingly boundless energy. When she isn’t training she’s off on some adventure exploring their isle or tagging along after her big sister, because Aisha forbid she should ever be left out of something interesting!
History: Dashiki is the picture of an Alkidike warrior, and though she never romantically bonded with one of her Sisters, she knew in her heart that she had love enough for a child. Her prayers to Aisha were answered when Shendaia bloomed and once more when Azehra unexpectedly produced Zinnia. The child needed a mother and Dashiki was glad to fill that role. From the time that she first bloomed from Azehra, Zinnia has been quick to learn and curious by nature. She was constantly moving, sitting, crawling, climbing, walking all earlier than her peers, with yellow eyes wide in excitement, taking in the world around her. Aisha preserve her poor mother’s nerves with how difficult it was to get her to settle down for a nap in her youngest years! Her willful nature was expressed early on in the form of fits when she was told that she couldn’t go somewhere or do something that she had set her mind to, and as she aged has transformed into an iron resolve to prove that she is capable. Bumps and bruises are no stranger to her, and now that she’s a youngling she simply brushes herself off and gets back into action, she doesn’t have time for tears!
