Welcome to the Fishaholics Anonymous guild's Summer Splashdown 2020 events! Thank you so much for joining us, and I look forward to seeing how many new and familiar faces join in.
It is my goal for this guild not to be the largest- but to be the the friendliest, and most active Fishing guild on Gaia. This goal is obtained through events like this, which encourage our members to join in and win cool prizes. We also have auctions to raise guild funds to not only continue rewarding our members and celebrating their birthdays, but to create new Fishing-themed items that show our support for the game.
Your participation in these events means so much. It keeps the guild going strong, and inspires more events and fun happenings.
Fish Auction - We are selling fish from all three lakes and junk as well, to raise General Use funds for the guild. This means the money raised goes towards every part of the guild, from birthdays to future prizes.
Item Auction - The Human and Paw copies of Gone Fishin' will be up for grabs in this special auction! This is the last human copy I will be auctioning in the guild. I've got one more to give away in one of our events, and another that will be raffled and that will be it! Human and Paw copies of Work Hard, Fish Harder will also be up for bid. There's also a SDPlus #263 Captain Logan too!
Avatar and Art Contests - Show your skill and creativity by submitting Fishing-themed avatars and artwork! This is your chance to display a cool avatar you've been working on, or to be inspired to break out the tablet and/or pencil!
Fundraiser Voting - We previously created the Gone Fishin' mood bubble as a group, and it's been quite a few years since then. With many more new members, it's time to ask for your help in creating the next best Fishing-themed item on Gaia! Help us vote on which Flair to create next.
Group Photos - Get your best Fishing mask and waders on! We are going to have two group photos taken in Towns for our second ever guild group photos!
Fill the Bucket RNG Game - We are bringing back a unique game suggested by member Shu-Yin-Yoh in 2018, in which you will participate in a forum-based game with unique results and game-play based on each lake.
