For the last 3 years, Vale has held an annual Water Festival during the summer! This week-long festival was introduced to boost morale and help keep the creatures of Grimm at bay. The city is decked out in blue streamers and ocean themed decorations like seashells and fish. Shops offer a variety of water-themed goods and sales, and games, where the money raised goes to helping the refugees from the fallen kingdoms. Many citizens go down to the beach. There, a sandcastle contest is held, water beach volley and a tug-a-war. The local ice cream shop serves it's special Shark Frenzy, Mermaid and Beach Icecreams. Near the beach, a carnival is set up with several water-themed games. Citizens flock to the arena where over the week, an exhibition is held. Students, Huntsmen and mercenaries come to show off their skills. Someone who excels in shooting may have a bunch of moving targets set up to show off their accuracy, while someone who enjoys brawling might have a sparring match. Beacon does things a little bit differently though. As the students spend the majority of their time fighting, the school as a water fight in the courtyard! Students are given pool noodles and water guns to duke it out!
As this is a week-long festival, you may have your character participate in more than one event if you desire.
