Justification: Spite his family (both Parents andGrandparents)
Personality: Shade is seen as a quite type that has always had his face buried in the books. When in the academy he would be found reading music, scrolls or random books while he ate his food, if he even ate at all. During weapons training he would be standing in the front of the class due to being slightly smaller than the other boys, leaving him to go first since he would be pushed forward to be humiliated, despite every effort of his classmates he would be able to get high marks. During lessons, he would be called on by the teacher who would catch him reading something else rather than what was on the lesson plan. He may look like a air head, but he is far from it. His time outside of school was spent wandering the streets watching people, watching others train, how they interacted with one another. He is seen as a air head, but in all reality he was just curious. Those who took the time to get to know him would find the brain under all of that hair and distant eyes, his passion being music and wanting to share it with others, to see the smile on their faces when he played something they knew or just discovered. His time watching people gave him insight that any parent would have trouble teaching a child. Those that he saw as friend he would stand by them and if they were in trouble he would put himself in the center of all of it and bring all the attention to himself, sure it may have sent him to the nurses office for his cold, blunt words but it was worth it to him. When put in the situation he can focus himself in that moment and read it, his keen eye able to pick up on things that would be overlooked as trivial. His ability to read a situation and be a step ahead a asset, then his ability to focus on sound because of his years of musical practice.

This is a basic technique that every shinobi can use. In fact, Konohagakure's Ninja Academy prevents students from graduating unless they master this technique, for which reason Naruto Uzumaki failed three years in a row. For this technique, users create one or more afterimages of themselves to move alongside them. Unlike most other clone techniques, these afterimages have no substance and thus are incapable of damaging opponents. Because of this, it is only useful for confusing enemies while other attacks are prepared. Opponents can identify clones from their original through careful observation, as clones won't cast shadows, crush grass, kick up dust, etc. (This does not count towards your jutsu number limit).

Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.

Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. When Naruto stole the scroll of seals, he learned this technique as well. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.

Must have: eye contact on the opponent This genjutsu slightly distorts the opponent’s sense of direction, moving details just a slight bit. What it does, is that it makes it so that when the opponent tries to walk in a straight line, they begin to walk in a slightly curved line. It is incredibly effective when the opponent is traveling, as the opponent would end up traveling in circles without reaching their destinations. It is also slightly effective in battle, by decreasing the target’s aim. The great advantage over other genjutsu with this technique is that the change in details is minute enough that the target is simply incapable of noticing that anything has changed. Then a sound is emitted that causes a distortion in the mind/minds of the target/targets that causes them to see themselves being hung, by the throat, by the limbs as the rest of their body is restrained by other parts of the branches. Although it negates sight, it does not stop the other senses.

The user will make the opponent feel like they are completely surrounded by fire. This will make the enemy scream and yell in pain as his body feels as if it is slowly being ripped apart by the flames. The dash lasts for barely a second, but in that time the user can cover considerable distance, making this an excellent assassination jutsu as the name implies.

Just being in close proximity to the technique can cause minor cuts. The wind blades can be created and thrown, like projectiles, in rapid succession.

It's original purpose was as a skill to help delay any pursuers. After forming the needed hand seals, the clan member is able to manipulate their shadow along any surface. By using other nearby shadows they can further extend the reach of their shadow, however they are limited to the surface area of the original cast shadow. Once the clan members shadow reaches the target shadow, it will attach itself. While attached the target will be frozen, only able to replicate in mirror form the actions of the clan member.
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Attack Note: Secret Clan Technique Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Nara clan. To perform the technique the clan member will first bind their target using the Kage Mane no Jutsu technique. Once the target can no longer move, they form the needed hand seal to initiate this technique. The clan member uses their shadow to form a hand which will creep up their opponents body to their neck. Once the hand reaches the neck, it will constrict in such a manner so as to strangle the opponent. However, the clan member will need to be careful. If their target has a lot of chakra, they can turn back the shadow hand and prevent it from
A skill where the user swings there hand and upon the ground create a crescent shaped shadow. This shadow after being imbued with chakra is sent flying towards the opponent. This fast flying blade is easily able to cut through trees. However, if a metal blade is used to try and block the technique it will be cut in two for two blades to cut the opponent.

Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Attack, Supplementary Note: Secret Clan Technique Ninpou: Kage Nui is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Nara clan. To perform the technique Shikamaru will first form the needed handseal to extend his shadow. Shikamaru will then change the handseal to cause the shadow to emerge from the ground in tendrils. The tendrils can extend and whip about and are strong enough to pierce nearby targets.
A skill where the user utilizes their entire shadow, converting it to a large incarnation of shadow. The shadow itself takes the form of a dragon, which in turn flies off and attacks the opponent. The downside of this jutsu is the user is connected to the dragon and must travel with it.
A skill in which the user makes a small portal of shadow, these portals of shadow are able to take in an object that can fit into it. These portals have a one and a half foot radius, but will only exit through another shadow portal. Once a shadow portal has designated a particular area to come out from, it cannot be switched. The portal can also be used by the opponent.

Because the clumps are so compact, and the rate at which they fall is rather fast, enemies are far better off completely evading the attack, rather than attempting to defend against it. Although described as a descending technique, one can manipulate the sand to fire from most any angle.

Making use of Gold Dust, the user raises it above them to create a thick barricade in order to block incoming aerial attacks, whilst using hand gestures to dictate the shape that the barrier adopts.
The user causes a considerable quantity of Gold Dust to erupt from beneath the surface, by placing both palms onto the ground directly in front of them, before manipulating the resulting substance into a wave of tidal proportions.

The user will manipulate a massive amount of iron sand, forcing it to form a huge airtight dome around an allotted area. The formation, density, and scope of the sand depend on the amount of chakra poured into it. One can fine-tune the sand's properties to the target's size and characteristics. No matter if the target is on the ground or flying in the air, it is almost impossible to escape from this technique.

Because of its iron composition, most anything caught within these waves is crushed or smothered to death.

When Shade was really young his family decided to move from Konoha wanting a change of pace from the bustle of Sunagakure. His mother had been part of the Kazekage clan and had met a male from the Nara clan while visiting Konoha. They had fallen in love, he had moved to Suna to be with her... After their wedding, Shade's grandfather had started to voice his distaste in the war and the standing that Konoha had taken in being part of it. It didn't sit will with Shade's father, since his own family was fighting in it as well. The couple had made a choice after Shade had turned three to move to Konoha. Hoping to keep their son from fighting on the front lines of the war. Shade hadn't minded the change, he was little and all his friends were in Konoha to begin with, if you could even call most of them friends. Growing up in the Academy he was picked on first for his hair color, many asking why his mother would dye his hair at a young age, where he would then just ask them why their mother taught them to be rude and take their insecurities out on other children. Which would lead to a trip to the nurse's office. There were several notes and meetings about what the young boy said to his peers that would cause a fight, ones that he never once raised a hand in. At the age of eight they moved from his hair to his height. He was shorter than the girls in his class and so he would have to stand up in the front, so when the teacher asked for volunteers he would be shoved forward due to his size and fall on his face. Sure it would be a laugh for everyone for only a moment, that was until he proceeded to do as the teacher instructed with high marks. It wasn't that he was better than anyone in his class, he didn't want to be if he could help it. His daily routine consisted of wake up, practice an instrument, eat breakfast, go to academy, get beat up for something he said, receive a lecture from a teacher or jounin, wander home (40 minute walk watching people), practice instrument, train with father, train with mother, eat dinner, do homework, and finally go to bed. This was the same thing he did every day as he grew up. His mother was skilled in sound based jutsu and loved that Shade enjoyed music as much as he did and hoped he would focus on sound over the shadow possession, which was what his father was skilled in. Nothing had changed, his classmates still picking on him for his hair, his height, or the fact that he was what they assumed to be an idiot because he wouldn't pay attention in class, just kept reading. So when it was finally Shade's turn for his test, his own teacher had no idea if he was going to pass or fail. So when the final grades came and squad assignments were listed, his peers were all shocked to learn that Shade, the air-headed, artificial colored pipsqueak was at the top of the class. Which lead to another fight in front of the Academy when Shade was stopped by his classmates, and the only thing he could say was, "So are you air-headed artificial fakes going to back off, or am I going to sit through another lecture from the teacher because they can't see that each one of you cheated on your exams in class, crammed all night last night just to master a random jutsu that you couldn't learn three months ago when you were to busy trying to look cool in front of one another, while I went home and studied everything..." The fight had only been one punch only because someone had stepped in to stop what would have been a very messy brawl. The jonin had never given his name, but he sent all the other kids home. Chewed out Shade, and then sent him home... Shade still doesn't know who the guy was, but the next time he saw him he would need to thank him for saving his a**.

GENIN LIFE Theme Song: Nothing Remains - Andrew Stein "Moving forward." With some luck, his assigned squad weren't annoying and idiotic. Tenka Bakatsu, specialized in explosive type jutsus. Which went well with Shade's style since he was more adept to restraint and illusions, so he wasn't doing much damage on the front end. His other team mate, Haruka & Awai. They worked well together and their jounin in charge, Byoki, was the one directing their shenanigans and missions. It wasn't long until the squad was set up to participate in the Chunin exams, it had been simple enough... Haruka and Awai were a good combo with their jutsu styles while Shade was able to support them making sure to keep the other teams from getting to close lest they be caught in a genjutsu. It was his specialty after all, combined with the Shadow Possession.

His time spent as a Chunin hadn't been all to long, the experience was welcomed... if only to help his people skills. Sure he was still an a** and blunt about people being stupid. But, he had a bit more tact in calling people out for their choices. It was three years before he finally took the Jounin test and passed. Though the highlight of his most recent years, even if he would often poke fun at it, would be moving in with Haruka. Now that he has been established as a Jounin for 4 years... they want him to start teaching genin. It wasn't that he didn't want to... but kids were annoying and didn't listen. . . Guess he would find out how this was going to go.
