FFA Still Less Confusing Than Kingdom Hearts 2018

Live Audience Exclusive
Tatakai vs Kurast and Ambrosio
-Several spots in the match were done as competition spots by Dalton and Tesara where they would try to out do each other, including a comedy spot where they tried to out sell each other while both locked in boston crabs by Kurast and Ambrosio
-Kurast def. Dalton with THE GORE!!!

The House of the Rising Sun vs The Mob
(Raj Delrey, Dodge, and Myles) (Crestwood, Zerotonin, and Revy LaFlare)

-This match got the crowd really riled up quick. The wrestlers were really going all out and trying to steal the show ahead of everyone else.
-Myles and Dodge debuted a new tag team move where Dodge hit a Brainbuster while Myles clotheslined Revy at the same time, but Crestwood broke up the pin
-Zero def. Raj Delrey via pinfall in a huge upset with the Zero Sum

Backstage
Serenno is shown arriving backstage in a limosine with Jada. Jada mentions having paid for the ride so that her man could arrive in style. Jada says that no matter what happens tonight, Serenno is leaving as champion.

In Ring
Mike Landry is in the ring and talks about how all month he's been wrestling the new rookie wrestlers of FFA and not a one of them has managed to take a win off of him. Mike is considering letting multiple wrestlers challenge him at once! The lights then go out and Back To The Earth by Starset plays, leading to a trippy strobe light entrance for a girl, whos eyes appear to be completely lacking color. Looks like Mike's open challenge has been answered by the mysterious Curio.

Mike Landry vs Curio
-Mike is totally offput by Curio's weird appearance and demeanor, but he's seen weirder so he tries to outwrestle Curio. He does get the better of her in most of the exchanges, but the ones where he doesn't involve her simply slipping out of his grasp smoothly, or contorting her body in weird ways to glide out of harms way.
-As Curio continues to wrestle, her make up starts to run, almost giving her and off-putting image of her face melting. This actually sets Mike back when she gives him a wide grin after sitting up from a clothesline. This kinda creep s**t is not okay to him.
-Landry gets surprised by a hard headbutt to the nose from Curio, and then a running knee, followed up by an Elbow Drop, which wows the fans. Curio hits her elbow from the furthest possible turnbuckle, rather than the easiest, and she easily flies more that half the length of the ring.
-Curio def. Mike Landry via pinfall with the Raze Machine

Nate Navarro vs The Lichador
-Mainly a solid build up match for Nate, who manages to make a show out of hitting Lichador with four or five running knees.
-Lichador manages to avoid the Star Shatter about five times, so Nate switches his tactics.
-Nate Navarro def. The Lichador via pinfall after a Penalty Kick

Vignette
Ashalar tells the crowd that revenge is coming from the other side, and that with friends like his, everyone has enemies.

FFA Platinum Championship Match
Steel Cage Match

Marx © vs J-Money
-J-Money comes out for the steel cage match, then Marx, but once Marx gets into the cage, J-Money gets out. J-Money reveals that he asked for one last chance to take the title from Marx... but he didn't mean from himself.
-J-Money reveals Marx's opponent, as Sobek Slate makes his FFA Debut, a massive man with taped up knuckles.

FFA Platinum Championship Match
Steel Cage Match

Marx © vs Sobek
-Sobek manhandles Marx, who has never seen Sobek wrestle before, much less in FFA for that matter.
-Marx gets busted open the hard way against the cage wall at one point, and Sobek wipes Marx's blood on his chest, making sure to make his hand wraps as bloody as possible.
-Marx hits the Superkick on Sobek, but Sobek stays standing and immediately big boots Marx in the face.
-Marx gets distracted by J-Money climbing the cage wall and superkicks the cage to knock J-Money off, but Sobek then catches him with Crocodylus
-Sobek def. Marx via pinfall via Crocodylus to win the FFA Platinum Championship

FFA Infernoweight Championship Match
Josh "Mad World" Madwall © vs Domino Ando
-Josh Madwall immediately invokes Trial By Fire to make setting Domino on fire a valid way of retaining the title. Domino then immediately avoids a fireball from Josh to keep the match going.
-Josh gets more desperate as the match goes on longer, trying to find his usual implements of fire under the ring, but Domino continues to knock them all away.
-Josh tries to run away, and out comes Kurast to stop him. Josh tries to get out of the arena via the crowd, but Kelsey stops him at one corner while Vince Caputo stops him at another.
-One by one, Josh gets ushered back towards the ring by FFA Originals like Ambrosio, Scope, Kelsey, Vince, Kurast, Sephiroth, Legato, even injured wrestlers like Vash and Katie, and retired ones like Kimmi. Grif even makes a return after his temporary death last month to stop Josh from trying to jump off the announce table into the crowd, sneakily catching him with an OOA where the refbot can't see.
-The crowd of FFA wrestlers rolls Josh back into the ring, but don't see that he's still holding a lighter and aerosol can. When Ando goes to grab him, he torches Ando... but Domino doesn't catch on fire!
-Domino hits Josh with the Sunfall and goes for the pin, but before he does he sees the lighter and aerosol. At the encouragement of the fans and FFA Originals at ringside, Domino takes up the weaponry.
-Domino Ando def. Josh "Mad World" Madwall to via Inferno to win the FFA Infernoweight Championship. Domino continued to burn Josh away with the aerosol and lighter combination until Josh had basically been dusted by Domino, finally freeing the title from Josh after 11 straight years.

In Ring
Kelly King 2.0 makes his way out to the ring. He still looks pretty messed up from the beating he took at The Free For All, but well enough to walk and speak. King announces that taking the advisement of wrestling experts all around the world, 2.0 is looking to elevate the competition in FFA in a new way. With wrestlers coming to FFA from all around the globe, he decides to take a tried and true concept from around the world and bring it to FFA. With that, King announces the Championship Soul tournament. In March this year and for every year on, normal television will be instead replaced by nine shows featuring a round robin style tournament, with the finals being held at the March PPV, Final FFAntasy. This will be a two block tournament with ten wrestlers in each block, and King announces nine of the wrestlers in each block right then and there.

A Block aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa B Block
Serenno aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Sephiroth
Raj Delrey aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa The Monitor
J-Money aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Grif
Vince Caputo aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Proto
Jonathan Levesaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Marx
Mike Landry aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Jayce Myraj
Kelsey Warden aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Kurast
Domino Ando aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Nate Navarro
Kelly King 2.0 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Railery

King says the remaining two competitors will be announced on FFA Weekly before the tournament. He also notes that the individuals who score victories over champions will be heavily considered for future title matches down the line, and the ultimate winner of the Championship Soul tournament gets to book one match himself with no limits. He wishes everyone good luck.

FFA Co-Op Championship Match
Triple Threat Match

The Unit Shredderz vs Proto and Jayce Myraj vs Tanuki and The Monitor ©
-The Unit Shredderz got a pretty heel response from the crowd, but they didn't seem to care. Crowd are pretty mad at them for being outsiders and for attacking Tanuki and the Monitor.
-Jayce and Proto tagged out whenever The Shredderz were legal, not wanting to deal with them
-Lynn at one point had the Monitor wrapped up in a figure four, but Tanuki broke it up with a splash
-Inez checked Proto outside the ring with her baseball bat while the ref wasn't looking, and then dumped the body outside the barricade with some struggle
-The Unit Shredderz def. Jayce via pinfall with the New York Hello, Brooklyn Goodbye to win the FFA Co-Op Championships. This was after they had beaned the superheros in the back with their bats.

Main Event
FFA World Championship Match

Serenno © (w/ Jada Amadeo) vs Railery (w/ Kayla King)
-Railery seemed much more prepared for the match this time, in fact he started it with a dive to Serenno during Reno's entrance and then threw him into the ring and hit a #Finisher
-The refbot refused to start the match, checking on Reno, but Railery constantly calling him a coward made Reno agree to continue.
-Railery had the upperhand whenever he could keep Serenno down on the mat or unable to match up with Railery's speed. However, late in the match, Jada tripped Railery on the top rope, causing him to crash and burn to the outside
-Jada was thrown out of ringside by the Ref, but refused to leave, causing Kayla to run her down and start to attack her
-Serenno went to the outside and drug Kayla into the ring, and set her up for the Cr0wned, but Railery saved her, pulling Kayla down onto the Refbot
-Serenno def Railery via pinfall after a lowblow and a Cr0wned to Railery, while the Refbot was removing Kayla from the ring

Dirt Sheet Reports by Jessica Haro

-The start of 2018 has been a very progressive looking one for FFA it seems, as they are moving full steam ahead on several of their guiding tenants from 2017, including the elevation of newer talents, the passing of torches, and the addition of more accolades for the various wrestlers to strive for outside of just the main titles. The two main stories coming out of the Still Less Confusing Than Kingdom Hearts show were the Infernoweight Championship and the Championship Soul tournament, which we have much more of here.

-Firstly, the biggest story is the Infernoweight title changing hands at the PPV. Josh Madwall, the champion for the past 13 years, being finally separated from his belt and Domino Ando being the lucky rookie to defeat him. FFA's website lists Josh as having suffered "Temporary Death", but it's possible a soft retirement for Josh as well. Josh had been long discussing stopping the trade entirely once he lost the title, as he had never taken any time off for injuries or vacations during his record-setting title reign. The only other title reign that even comes close to Josh's is Matt Shanahan's FFA United States title run, which he is technically still the holder of but the belt itself is defunct and therefor the days do not count. FFA could have picked any of their new young wrestlers to defeat Josh, and they wanted to make a point of it being a younger guy to get the belt. Should very much expect the Infernoweight title to be contested amongst these younger stars for a while. It might even get a name change in the future.

-The second major story of the PPV was the Championship Soul tournament. Hardly a new concept, FFA leaned into the fact that it was heavily inspired (read as: ripped off) of New Japan Pro Wrestling's G1 Climax Tournament and J.A.P.A.N.'s T.O.K.Y.O. tournament. Still, such a round robin tournament has never been done in FFA so there is wild speculation about which person will be the winner of the first one. Kelly King 2.0 was also very clearly specific about the winner of the tournament getting a trophy as well as a golden ticket to book whatever match they wanted to book, rather than a straight up title shot at Serenno's (or whomever holds it at the time) World championship. King is known for not liking being booked into corners.

-Other news from the PPV. Serenno retained the title over Railery. This has been the plan for the entirety of the 2017 program apparently. Serenno's relationship with Jada Amadeo, his new manager, is based on real life, as they are engaged.

-Mike Landry's storyline with the new FFA wrestlers is said to mirror real life as well.

-The Ashalar segments are expected to continue throughout February and March.

-Sobek Slate, a large egyptian wrestler made his debut at the PPV and defeated Marx for the Platinum Championship. Sobek is the first wrestler in FFA history to win a championship in his first one on one match. Of course Mike Landry won the very first FFA for the FFA Championship back in 2005, so that record is his.

-The two mystery wrestlers are said to be very close to FFA's inner circles, and one is another talent trade from the company that FFA has been discussing a joint show with for some time. This was also a leading decision in the Unit Shredderz, who are also a tag team from that company, winning the tag titles.
