*waves* Hello, I'm Manda. But ... well, technically, I'm not the one taking care of Veth. That'd be my character Nashorme. So. I'll let him introduce himself *prods muse out*
He looked up from writing in the journal, blinking slightly. "Oh, hi, I'm Nashorme. But ... well, I'm probably not the you're here to see. That would be the little terror over there," he says, pointing to Veth. Then he gets up and hands you the journal. "If you want to know more about him, go ahead and have a look at this."

Farlest and I got to this world and went into town the next day ... where Farlest found a flyer. The flyer led us to Aubri's house, where I was ... well ... convinced to take one of these "pets". Though she insists that they aren't like pets so much as children. And I think that scares me more. Oh well, we'll see how it goes.

One of Aubri's daughters came today to bring the actual pets to us. I do have to admit, the little guys are cute ... but I'm still not too sure about this. There's supposed to be some kind of gathering of the new owners at a cafe in town, about to leave for that now.
