Midnight Star felt like she was going to have a panic attack, she couldn't do this on her own. She needed to find Black Bone and she needed to find him fast. She had not thought much of gaining a little bit of weight at first but then the shock of what was really going on struck her and her search began. She was on her way towards the redwoods to find Black Bone since that was where he said he was from when they met. Star had thought it was nothing just a little trist in the forest no big deal, how wrong she had been. To think she had no more than a few months ago told her brother Soul Eater that she could get herself out of any trouble. Well, this trouble wasn't going away and she was frightened. She took in a deep breath as she headed towards the border of the redwoods, the area gave her a strange feeling, but her desire to find him was much stronger than any other feeling she might have.

tab With winter's cold claws already sinking into the air around them, Black Bone knew it was time to hoard as many medicinal herbs as possible which brought him beyond the pack's borders for the second time. Gods knew he'd get an earful for it whenever he returned home but he hoped being able to drop a sizable addition to their medical stores would get him out of most of it. Hell, it may even get him out of hot water completely. Only time, and the outcome of his adventure for the day, would tell.
tab His nose buried to the ground, sniffing and clawing at the dirt. His attention was so otherwise occupied, he almost missed the scent traveling on the wind. Almost. With a low growl, he snapped his head up. His eyes narrowed, searching the nearly barren lands around him for the owner of the scent. He breathed in again, deeply this time and confusion furrowed his brow. This scent was familiar, yet he couldn't quite place it.
tab It wasn't until he saw the dark blot of her pelt that he recognized the scent. Midnight Star, the she-wolf he'd spent a night with not long before today, was coming straight for him.Surely she hadn't come because she missed him; they'd both been perfectly clear about what they had been to each other. He moved forward, meeting her halfway if only to keep her away from the pack's borders as he wasn't sure whom it was at each watch point today. Though now that he was closer, he noticed something was definitely off. Something had her panicky.
tab "Is something wrong?" He questioned without hesitation. He wasn't one to beat around the bush, after all.

Midnight Star looked at Black Bone like he was nuts how could he not tell what was wrong, really really!!?? How could he not tell that she would be having his puppies soon? She would beat the hell out of him if he questioned if they were his or not, even if that was a ridiculous thing to think about. Star couldn't seem to help it her emotions were all over the place at the moment. She took a deep breath and just blurted it out. "I'm pregnant." She figured once she pointed out the subject of her terror he would get the rest of it without her having to spell it out. She was due soon and the pups would need him just as much as they would need her.
Star continued to try not to have a panic attack she couldn't do this on her own, she needed help. If Black Bone refused her she would have to find her brother Soul Eater, she could not handle puppies by herself. She would love them no matter what but she could not handle this on her own. She thought back on her interaction with the pup she had met in the woods and as soon as the pup grew nervous she had run away. She couldn't run from her own pups and what was she supposed to do if they cried!!?? She started breathing too fast again. Waiting for Black Bone to say something.
