It's spooky season, and you aren't missing it! A small gathering of celebrations have spread throughout Kells and you've stumbled upon one. Full, entertained, and now sleepy, you crawl off to take a snooze in a small patch of flowers.
Sleep comes easily. You're more tired than you thought.
There's no way of telling how long you slept, as the night remains dark when you jolt with a start. Your eyes flick up to meet panicked amber eyes. A she-wolf stands before you, pelt as dark as the sky itself with splatters of white throughout.
"Please, won't you help me?"
Her voice pleads earnestly, the weight of worry evident in her tone. You have a feeling, if you accept, that this request won't be an easy one.
How to Play: This is a CYOA, meaning 'choose your own adventure'. Every 48 hours a new prompt will be up, in this thread. You will be given options to pick from and you will RP your decision. For every round there's at least one answer that eliminates those who picked it (there may be more than one!). Those eliminated will be removed from the game, but they're welcomed to keep reading!
The first round will be treated as a signup round. You may enter one of your own wolves into this CYOA, or make a NPC. It's up to you. You cannot enter the game if you were not part of the first round. The winner of this game will take home the Seer above, colored by Nymphiea (who is also running this game).
Rules: [1] You cannot proxy for someone. The rounds were made 48 hours to hopefully ensure everyone has time to post! [2] If you're eliminated you will be removed! However, throughout this round there will be immunity items. The game runner will tell you if an item you picked up makes you immune to elimination. You'll need to 'equip' your item in the same post you pick your answer, or else it won't protect you. To do this simply add, at the bottom of your post, that you're using your immunity item. Once used your item will break, regardless if it protected you or not. [3] You must RP your response. It can be as little as you'd like, but it needs to be something! You're alone in this adventure, so the other players are not part of your story. [4] Use the form provided. We can't keep track of when you use items or what you have without it.

Round One:
The she-wolf has pleaded for you to help her, and you've considered your options before accepting. Whatever your reason for saying yes, she doesn't care. Elation reaches her eyes as she practically bounces on her feet in relief.
"Oh, you're the first to say yes. Oh thank the spirits... I-" Her eyes well up as she fights back tears, shifting paw to paw. "I brought my son here to celebrate, and he's gone missing! I've looked everywhere... please, will you try and track him down?"
For a moment you consider before accepting, a second time. The conversation that follows is brief. Her son is a small puppy and is [you swear you remember this....]. He was last seen getting a drink from the river right beside the party, and then his mother turned her back for one second. No one has seen where he's run off to since.
"His name is [something seems wrong... you can't remember what went here]," she adds softly. "He has a purple eye and I'm worried he might be suffering a migraine while alone!"
You have a few options laid out before you; A: Go to the river and look for signs of where they went. B: Ask those partying if they've seen the puppy. C: Go into the surrounding woods. There isn't time to waste!
tab With furrowed brows, River Hawk surveyed the wolves surrounding her. Surely one of them had to have seen the pup. Then again, she realized she may have to reconsider that assumption when she witnessed a group purposefully ignore another pup joining the festivities. Her ears pinned back on her skull, lips pulling up in a snarl at the treatment of the young one.
tab Fine. If they were going to be like that, she'd find the pup by herself. His mother said he was last seen by the river, so that may be her best bet to start her search. Did You Equip An Item?: N/A

RP Response:
Darkstar was eager to help but she would need more information before starting her search. The best place to start would be the last place he was seen, the river.

RP Response: Mourning Dove didn't stray far from her pack usually, but when a stranger asked her to help find the missing pup, she nodded. She was a Hunter within the Swiftfell, so surely hunting down a pup couldn't be too hard. He'd been at the river? She wondered if any trace of his scent would already be washed away if he had fallen in. But perhaps she could find a set of foot prints leading away from the river instead, so she headed towards the place he was last seen. Did You Equip An Item?: n/a

RP Response:Mea had never been one to ignore someone in need of help, and the mention of a pup going missing had her frowning in concern. Well, best to start looking as soon as possible!
She considered stopping to ask those around them for help, but if they had said no to aiding the mother in the first place, she had a feeling they hadn’t been paying attention to a stray pup anyway. No matter! She would instead search the place he had last been seen. With a sniff here and there, the female wolf wandered over to the river. Did You Equip An Item?: No

RP Response:Lost Daughter was not unsympathetic to the female's cause, after all she had earned her own name by getting herself lost as a child. The moniker had stuck with her through puphood and into adulthood, and now it plagued her life as a spoken true. She was lost, and though she had never been good at finding anything she possessed the desire, that fire, to try.
"I will do what I can," she promised. It was no guarantee that she would find the pup, but it was the best that she could offer.
She would not offer false hope when she knew how easy it would be for a life to slip away. Bowing her head, she headed to the river's bank to try and pick up the trail of the lost pup. Did You Equip An Item?: No

RP Response:Kindle was rather surprised that no one else had even bothered to try and help this poor mother! There hadn't even been a second thought but to answer yes. Her blue eyes looked at the Seer with sympathy. "Of course I will help you! How could I not? These silly other wolves are just too in to the party and rude. I won't be so rude. We'll look for you pup together. Or maybe it would be better to search separately?" She took a breath to consider everything.
What had the mother said? He'd been by the river when she lost him. Oh sweet stars in the sky, he didn't fall in, did he?! Kindle felt her own panic rise for the mother and her lost pup. The river. That's where she was going to start her search. Did You Equip An Item?: n/a
RP Response:Gaze of Verdant Gold frowned to himself in response. How had no one else offered to help the distraught mother? Well, he had never been able to say 'no' to a pretty face.
"Don't worry, we'll find little [something seems wrong... you can't remember what went here!]," he assured with more confidence than he felt. By the river? Not a good place for a pup to be alone. But, if that was the last place he'd been seen, then that was the place to start looking for some sign of what happened to him. Did You Equip An Item?: N/A

RP Response: Blueberry was ofcourse going to help the she-wolf. Being the freindly and uber helpful Wolf she was. The first thing in her mind was that this was a simple misunderstanding and that someone at the party had seen where the pup had went, or maybe were told where he was going when the moms back was turned. So surely someone here would know where the best place to begin looking was, blueberry figured he wasn't down by the river since surely that was the first place the mom had looked right? That was what she thought anyway

RP Response:Journey squinted, turning her head from the partying crowd, to the river where the pup was claimed to have gone, to the surrounding woods. A thoughtful 'hmmmmm' left her as her tail wagged back and forth behind her. It occurred to her that she was perhaps a little too excited about a search for a lost pup. That should be a sad thing, right? A scary thing? But it was an opportunity. It was an adventure.
The she-wolf continued to look back and forth thoughtfully before she moved towards the gathered party-goers. If she were a pup, she'd sure be attracted to the hubbub of a good romp. (I mean, as an adult she was drawn towards the raucous, so….) Pups move fast, too, so maybe he had just disappeared into the crowd when the mother's eye was turned.
There was a lot going on, sure, but maybe someone would have seen something. Or, at the very least, some might have a better idea of where she should search next. Did You Equip An Item?: No

RP Response:Starbright nodded confidently at the desperate mothers' pleas. “I’ll do my best to help!” And with that, she headed towards the river but changed direction midway there to the woods. The mother already checked the river, she thought and the other wolves are probably too distracted with themselves to remember a pup. “[something seems wrong... you can't remember what went here!]” She shouted out into the trees. “Your mother is worried about you...My name is Starbright and I’m here to help! Are you out here?” The she-wolf moved her ears around in hopes of hearing something. Did You Equip An Item?: No

RP Response: Kestrel looked around for a place to start. She thought for a moment about questioning the others around, but as the panic mother had already stated 'no one had seen him', she took that option off the table. Surely she'd already asked around, right?
She looked to the woods, but that would be crazy - it'd take a miracle to find his trail if she just bounded off. She knew how vast the woods were, being a rogue trying to find her own place in life and it'd be too easy to never find the path. Plus, chances are he never even went that way. Could be something of the party distracted him and he was close by? Who knew.
The only logical option was to check the vicinity of where he'd been drinking. "Can you show me where he'd been drinking? There has to be some sign somewhere to point where he's gone. I'm sure we'll find it there!" She felt eager and excited to help, and her heart went out the the mother as the seer led the way. She didn't have pups of her own yet, but she knew how panicked she would feel.
When they arrived, Kestrel began a search for clues and scent...she was determined, and put herself to the task fully.

RP Response:Condor knew that female was in a state of utter panic. Her breathing was heavy and labored. Her whole body shook with tension and he wondered why the others had not yet helped her. What was their reason for ignoring the female? Condor shook his head and wondered if he had bitten off more then he could chew. Still, he had given his word that he would help her. The next logical step was to visit the river where the pup had last been seen. Did You Equip An Item?: n/a

RP Response: How could Love Heals possibly say no to such a plea? A pup lost and possibly in danger? Well of course she would do everything to help! She hurried off to try and find any sign of the whelp. Did You Equip An Item?: No
