(This RP follows right after Stellar Sidestep)

After returning to Earth from their little Lunar Expedition, Nix found himself with Arthur, considering doing something possibly a little crazy. Granted, multiple people had told Nix he was crazy, so perhaps that was why he was up for it.

They were going to go get coffee (or tea) from a coffee shop. Arthur, of course, was an energy beacon while doing such a thing, so Nix didn't really feel good about leaving him unprotected while doing it...So he'd go powered up. Luckily, he had a bit of cash in his space pocket, so that wasn't really a problem.

The trouble was, he thought he needed a jacket or something to make his outfit slightly less obvious, and it wasn't cold enough to bring one yet, so he didn't have one.

"Think we should just...go as we are, or should I borrow somebody's coat off a line somewhere?" Nix asked with a smirk. "I think there's a good cafe we can get some stuff from a block or two that way."

When he said 'borrow,' he did mean it seriously. He would never think of stealing something...permanently, anyway.

“Oh yeah, shoes,” Nix replied, nodding. “Ah, well, outside works. I don’t mind ordering for ya.” He couldn’t help but laugh at getting the jacket, but said with a smile, “Oh, that works great. Thanks!” Before adjusting it so it was mostly on him.

Truthfully, he liked his outlandish, if a bit...form revealing senshi outfit, but it was certainly a bit too eye-catching for going and getting some drinks. So, it felt a bit wrong covering it up, even as he did it.

“Alright, all set! Let’s get some drinks.”

It was not a long trip over. It was really just a couple building hops. “Oh, uh,” Nix said right before he took off. “Would you like me to, uh, help you along in getting there? I can building hop over, after all.”

"Ah, yeah, that is easier," Nix said with a grin, and once he was sure Arthur was in position, he took off.

It wasn't all that far, ultimately, but the Senshi Express was certainly much faster and easier than climbing around and down. Before too long, they were around a corner and out of sight of people around, now easy walking distance away.

"Alright, turn back now, you can find a seat, and I'll go get us some stuff. Any preferences?" He adjusted arthur's coat (or, if it had disappeared, got it back and adjusted it) to make sure it looked like it wasn't completely out of place over his very blue legs.

He was sure to get some looks.

Between the two of them, Nix's shoes were probably the strangest sight. They definitely looked like a couple of eccentric furries. He had a huge grin on his face as they approached the place, and Arthur picked out a table.

He moved like he was pulling a bit of cash out of his glove (although it came out of his senshi pocket), and said, "Alright, be back in a bit, then."

Inside, of course, he got some odd looks, but, amazingly, nobody actually questioned him. He placed an order (a fancy coffee with cream, and this chocolatey thing with a crown of whipped cream they had on display and he had to get). It wasn't terribly busy, so they said they'd bring the things out when it was ready, so he returned to Arthur and sat down, still grinning.

"It's kinda fun going into places all dressed up, isn't it?" he asked.

"Oh, yeah, I guess that's true," Nix replied, nodding, and sipping his drink, with a touch of cream ending up on his nose. "I forgot that pretty much anything is dressing up for you, huh?" He shrugged.

There was another thing he was gonna say, but decided to replace it with a new question, "Everything alright, Arthur? You look kinda...down."

Nix nodded sadly. People always seemed to be vanishing. True evidence that this whole "war" wasn't just a dance. He didn't know who Arthur was thinking about specifically, but decided against prying...though it was tempting.

Maybe another day.

"Maybe," he replied after his own fancy drink sip. "But can you even stay up there when it's not the full moon?" He glanced up at the sky. "Sounds really lonely, honestly. Weeks of nobody there but you." He shook his head quickly. "I'd never be able to do that...even if it was the only way to have fingers all the time... But, of course, I don't have that problem."

“Besides,” Nix added with a smile, “What if your friend comes back while you’re trapped up there?” He shook his head. “I don’t think hiding up there’s a good plan, really.”

The question of him being a frog made him laugh lightly. “Oh, gosh. I think I’d have to hide a lot. Frogs are really small, ya know. Wouldn’t wanna get eaten. But, uh,” he rubbed his cheek, and had some more to drink. “I don’t know. I think I’d want to find somebody who knew about it that I could stay with all the time. Can’t exactly tell anybody about something like that, ya know?”

"Well, sure," Nix replied with a shrug. "But like, I know you, and even when I, you know, see you in your cat form, that doesn't mean I think what you look like now is the same thing." He rubbed his cheek. "Though, I guess it'd be a bit weird to be intimate with you--" he paused there, and flushed red in the face a brief moment, "Er...I mean, with someone who's currently a small animal in shape."

"The only people I've ever told about all this were other senshis and knights," he offered. "And, uh, I'm not involved with anyone."
