They had spent well over a hour planning if not more talking and making sketches. There was a beginning of a materials list with some basic math to figure out how much would be needed. There needed to be some tools borrowed from the Mauvians as well as with a few generators.
Sitting on a low courtyard wall, Arthur drank some water.
"It is a shame I can't come here every day. It's nice to be humanoid this long without being so tired. Did you want to try training some more?"

"Yeah, it's pretty nice up here...though not enough green, if you ask me..." Nix commented. "Oh, training up here would be good! With the gravity, you can jump super high if you try! I know the astronauts usually bounce around, but since we don't have suits, it's not so bad..." He shrugged. "Anyway. Let's get started. Think you can touch the roof?" He pointed up, and sprang up into the air, to bump into the ceiling some 10 meters up, where there was just enough purchase for him to grab. "Ooh, this would be super hard to stay up on Earth!"

Arthur was only used to leaping on four kegs so hopping about on two was still a strange concept. How did humans even accomplish much with such a limited ability to jump higher. Or course, he knew that senshi and other powered humans could jump much higher and with the Moon's gravity, it gave him the same chest to be able to get some of the same sensation.
Eyeing up the roof and stepped back more, trying to gauge if he had enough clearance. With a deep breath, he jumped up and nearly missed before grabbing it, tail puffed as he heaved himself up.
"That was not as graceful as I would have liked it to be."

Nix waited and watched, and then when Arthur did jump up, he gently grabbed on to the man, so he wouldn’t drop completely ungracefully. “Great!” He said cheerily. “Now we can drop back down. It’s okay if you don’t land on your feet...you can land on your hands, too. And it’s not *that* bad of a fall either way. But Lemme drop first, you know, just in case,” He nodded once. “Then we can talk about how to do it better, and maybe move on to the next thing.” He made sure Arthur had a grip then...let go! It was a rather gentle drop, compared with normal, but he did definitely fall at a fair rate, then he looked up to see how well he was followed.

The help was appreciated and he sat in the lip of the roof for a moment as Nix then let go and landed. It was easy to tell he had experience. Arthur could be petty and say that Nix couldn't do that well with 4 legs like him, but it was true just for him with two and the man was kind to help him. He was even making sure to be below to ensure his safety.
Reassured he had some.buffer, he leapt down and did infant land with his two feet but then lurched forward and have to use his other two to make sure he didn't faceplant.
"That - needs more practice."

"Sure," Nix replied with a nod, pulling Arthur back to his feet. "Everybody needs practice at first. And this," he gestured around. "Is definitely weird. Anyway, I don't really like just standing around and repeatedly doing the same thing. Let's play a game." He stepped away and grinned. "Try and hit me! I'll dodge, but I promise to not, you know, use my full senshi power in it." He patted his chest with both hands, and then held out his arms.

Hitting. It was one of the many skills he needed but didn't have much if any practice in. Each time he trained with Nix, he was reminded how far from the starting point he was, and yet he felt a deeper sympathy for the senshi he created.
"The more Info this, the more I see the terribly heavy demand we have for you. For all the senshi. None of you were made for fighting and it feels so discouraging to start this way."
He threw a punch and brightened when it landed. "How do you keep yourself from being discouraged?"

“Good job!” Nix declared, and decided to try a little harder than he had been... “It’s tough sometimes,” Nix admitted, considering carefully even as he moved around. “I, uh...I guess I just try to remember that everyone does what they can, and I shouldn’t worry about things I can’t do, just what I can...and what I will eventually be able to.” He nodded at that. MoonKitsune This time, roll a d20, and if you beat my roll, he lands another hit. biggrin

"It must be so stressful. Being on patrol and having to fight like this. I've seen it but I have been placed in a way like that. When I'm attacked, I don't have many options. The human body might not be as agile or quick as a guardian, bit you understand the limits of the human body more.".
He went for another hit and it landed..
"I want to be able to understand and help train those I awaken like that. If we can keep this place, I'd like to take them here to do it, but I won't be any help if I'm bad at fighting too."

Nix tried a bit harder to evade Arthur, and still managed to get hit. Either the Mau was very lucky, or was better than he thought. Either way was probably helpful. "Good," he said in response to the hit, and jumped back, going a bit higher than intended. Low gravity was weird. "Well, your role in all this is to guide us and get us cool stuff," Nix replied. "Training is nice, but I don't mind if you send them to me." He grinned and added, "Of course, knowing how to fight, and teach it, definitely helps! Just keep at it, and I'm sure you'll be great eventually!"

"A beam is exhausting and too many times I've been with a senshi who needs help escaping. If I could throw a punch to buy them time or even hit someone trying to kill me - Well I'm sure it would be surprising enough to shock someone and buy time. I also want to hold myself accountable. As a guardian, I can talk about hard work and fighting, but if I don't walk in the same shoes as everyone else, I won't be able to fully understand the senshi I'm teaching. To feel what they are going through."
He threw a hit and missed by a mile.
"I want to be able to create a network of people and resources for senshi when they come to my library. A lookup of where to go and who to turn to when in need. Tutors for any kind of situation. Therapy for someone was ting to talk. Grief counseling for when the worst happens."
He took a breath and steadied himself again to try and punch again.

"Oh yeah, there is that," Nix replied, as he maneuvered around Arthur's strike. "It would probably help to figure out how to power up like you mentioned before, then you wouldn't feel so helpless, I bet! This is just practice for when you can manage it~" He made a motion of a punch in the air, off to the side, so Arthur would see the form of it, but mostly let things continue as they were. "Well, we already have our senshi phones, and I know we can blast messages with it, but...you're right. It's kinda hard to work out things like that..." He looked a bit down, but brightened up quickly. "Let's use my training camp idea to get that ball rolling too! If we can get a bunch of people together, I'm sure we can work something out!" He grinned. "I already know a few people who are good at different things and are willing to help out, so I'm sure we can pick up others along the way."

Support. Experience. Training. These were all things needed for dealing with some the issues the senshi and knights faced. Others - they weren't so easy.
There was still the issues of leadership and the Royals.
Throwing a fist, he went somber. "Have you killed anyone?"

"You've got some moves, Arthur!" Nix said encouragingly as another hit was landed. Of course, Nix was trying...but mostly to not push too hard, as that would just be frustrating. "Killed?" he echoed, and shook his head. "No...I haven't...though I have seen negaversers do it. I-I don't know if I could, honestly." He thought about the various times he tangled with one of those Negaverse Lieutenants, and the corrupt senshis. They didn't stand a chance. "I've, uhm...proven I can overpower at least some of them, but most of the time they give up, or run away when that happens, well before I'm--you know--worried they might kill me." He thought about asking if Arthur had, but figured the answer was probably no, so left it there.

"There hasn't seemed to be much consistence on what we should be doing with the Negaverse. The Royals haven't called a meeting and have not stepped up as leaders for the whole. We haven't even talked as a group for a long time. I worry our disconnection will only distance ourselves from each other. None of this feels like a unified forced. A lot of new senshi don't even know the full scope of senshi around them."
"I don't like the trend of where we are going. We should have some frame for everyone to follow. Some guidance. If the Royals can't provide that, I'm wondering if the Guardians should but - even as I say that, I know it won't work. We are Mauvians. It's harder for senshi to see us as the same. We need senshi to stand tall and be the voice for others."
He threw another lunch, harder this time.
"I've been so frustrated for everyone."
