Beacon Hills was put on full alert when bodies started to turn up around the town. Officially they were labeled as the work of a murderer and most members of the town knew well enough to leave it alone. Most, not all; Stiles Stiliniski, the son of the current Sheriff of Beacon Hills, took his friend into the forest. There Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski were separated due to the police turning up. As Scott tried to get back to his friend he was attacked by an alpha werewolf and bitten. The werewolf brought Scott back to his home to see if he would survive the bite or not. Needless to say, Scott survived. Not only that but he proved to have a steep learning curve. When the full moon rolled around on the 19th, Scott proved that he was able to resist the urge to kill.
Shortly after he and Stiles meet another Werewolf by the name of Derek Hale. Due to his mysterious entrance into their life and the fact that he's a werewolf both boys assume that he must be the killer. They work to get him framed for the murder; which he is later released from as the Sheriff and deputies find that there was wolf hair embedded into the victims and thus the kills have been ruled as an animal attack. Despite the fact that the boys had tried to frame him for murder, Derek starts to work with Scott so that they can track down and kill the Alpha werewolf as a way to save the town and take revenge for Derek's sister Laura.
Unfortunately they aren't the only people interested in tracking down the Alpha werewolf. A Hunting family known as the Argents recently moved back to the town, bringing many seasoned hunters at their disposal. One of these hunters by the name of Kate Hale shoots Derek with a wolfsbane bullet as he was chasing down the Alpha. He had to take refuge in Scott's room as he needed their help to recover. Days later, unknown to them, another student (Jackson) has been wounded by the Alpha while trying to pick out a movie.

As the three men (boys) come to an understanding a tentative bond is formed. They plan a way to draw the Alpha to them but while enacting their plan three other students (Jackson, Lydia, and Allison) were put in grave danger. A few days later the full moon rises again and with it, Scott is forced to transform. He would have attacked Jackson and Allison if Derek hadn't intercepted and stopped him.
They continue to work together to try and stop Scott from making any more rash decisions all the while tracking down the Alpha. To that end, Stiles has another teenager by the name of Danny crack into some much needed information on a computer. It is this information that leads them to the Alpha - Peter Hale. Even with their combined effort Stiles and Derek were no match for him. He leaves them bruised as he escapes. Peter Hale quickly convinced Derek to join him based on his motivation and some partial truths. They team up to visit Scott in the locker room to try and convince him to surrender and join them. Scott continues to refuse so Peter changes his tactics and starts to date Melissa McCall, the teenager's single mother.
Unfortunately, Kate Argent ends up capturing Derek Hale and torturing him for information. Despite her techniques Derek Hale tells her nothing. It takes days for Scott to find Derek and help him out of the torture room and that only happens during the Winter Formal. Peter worked his own angle to find his nephew Derek. He tracked down Lydia Martin and wounded her, keeping her on the field until Stiles arrived. In return for sparing her life and letting him call someone to help her, Stiles agreed to help him. The teenager tracked down Scott's phone so that Peter could easily find them regardless of any counter measures. In return for his help, Peter even offered to make Stiles a werewolf - the offer was rejected.
Upon finding both Derek and Scott, Peter signed his own death. He was able to bring down Kate Argent, the one responsible for killing the majority of the Hales, before he died by Derek's hands. As he was the one to kill Peter, Derek inherited the Alpha power and all that came with it.
『𝙉𝙤𝙬 𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙒𝙤𝙡𝙛... 』___➳
As Scott is freed from worry about the rampage of a crazy Alpha, he has other concerns placed on him. Chris Argent, a renouned Hunter, has threatened him to stay away from his daughter Allison. He isn't the only one with problems - both Jackson and Lydia still bare the wounds of the previous alpha Peter Hale.
Jackson continues to suffer despite the fact that his wounds have healed up. All the while Lydia has been on and off again in a catatonic like state that no one can figure out while her wounds heal at remarkable speeds. If that wasn't bad enough...another body has been found without the trademarks of a werewolf kill.
How will the story unfold from here? What lives will be changed? And what is the mysterious creature killing seemingly random young adults around town?
You should know what they are by now. Try to obey them.

I would consider this a lazy literate roleplay. I expect a good fifteen sentences per post with an attempt at proper grammar. Everyone makes mistakes; I make them a lot. But you can tell the difference of someone who makes no effort in their writing verses someone who actually thinks it through. It's the later one that I'd like to see.

I understand that everyone probably has busy lives and that this is supposed to be something to do in the off time. That being said I would like to see at least 1 post from each roleplayer per week. Ideally everyone would be able to post at least once per character per week, but I will just be happy getting 1 post per person per week regardless of how many or little characters they have. When you join please join to stay. Loyalty goes a long way with me and the best roleplays are formed when all of the people posting never call it quits. As for how your posts should look all I ask is that you have at least one picture of them in it, do not use anything under size 11 font if you want us to read it, have a general location heading somewhere easily found, and use a different color for your character's speech than the standard text around it.

There is a full section called 'Birth of a Character' that will walk you through how to join this roleplay. However, I will state it once again - loyalty is important to me. I once had a Teen Wolf roleplay which last three years because all the members stayed in communication and stayed loyal to the idea that we weren't dead until the very end. Even if we go slow I think that's a good mentality to have. Slow and steady wins the race.

You may play only 2 original characters if you aren't playing a canon character. If you are playing one canon character, your character max then becomes 4 (maximum of 3 OCs).This will be true until all major canon characters have been taken. All original characters must be created with the intention of joining or being recruited by one of the other main groups given some time to interact. However, we play for the long game so if you're making a human character that you want turned into a werewolf keep in mind that it might not happen soon. Most new characters will start off human. There will be a few that upon approval, may start off as a supernatural creature. They won't be the majority. The canon characters that are allowed, however, can be what they were in the show. Some restrictions may apply to what canon characters can be brought in given where we are starting in the show. No new species of supernatural are currently being accepted. This may change as the roleplay progresses.

FIRST STEP - Start off with quoting all the mods in the OOC. In that post, throw in a gif you think sums up your character as well as tell us about the character(s) you want to take. It could just be like their name, age, species, and maybe like one personality trait. Or you could write us a paragraph - whatever works for you. You can even use the Reservation form to combine steps 1 and 2 as long as, in addition, you give us something about who they are as a person. If they're an original character please include a part about what group you eventually want them to be in. At the end of this introduction include a link to a post you have done at some point recently. Or if you'd like you can write one on the spot. It's up to you.

Humans are possibly the underrated rated species. One should not take for granted the strength of the human spirit and how resilient a person can be. They are also full of potential as humans can be changed through various means into many different supernatural species. They are also the most dominant species on Earth. All of Derek's future Beta's will start out Human. All Hunters are humans.
Physically they are the same as any other human and thus are more like a subset of humans. There is something about them, however, that sets them apart from those around them - a certain talent. Some psychics are empathic and can search through all your emotions and filter them out if needed while other are telepathic, able to look into a person's mind as though it were a very complex book. Some of them have visions of the past, present, or future. Others have the chilling ability to communicate with those who have died or have not yet been born. There are also those that can identify and tracking people based on aura to varying degrees.Whatever their one talent lays, psychics have historically been hunted down or at least isolated by normal humans for their unique gift. Psychics will either die [or lose their original psychic powers if it's specific creatures later down the line] if someone attempts to turn them into a supernatural creature.
These creatures are wide spread and rightly feared. Werewolves are both human and wolf at the same time. They have all the standard superhuman powers, including a regeneration that is to be envied. Unlike humans who can function as individuals, they are highly pack orientated. All werewolves seek to have a pack. However, only borne werewolves can take on a full wolf form while their turned counterparts can take on physical, humanoid aspects. An Alpha is the only one with the power to create other werewolves; they are also the strongest. The Betas are the pack members but even they vary in strength based on multiple factors. Omegas are the weakest werewolves and are generally mentally ill which makes them undesirable or have recently lost their entire pack based on unfortunate circumstances. All werewolves, regardless of rank, are swayed by the moon and have their bloodlust peek on the Full moon. All original werewolves will currently start as an Omega.
These creatures originate from Western Native American traditions - more specifically the Navajo. As such, they will have that within their near ancestry. Skin Walkers start off seemingly human but as they grow, so does their ability to mimic another person. At this point, a Skin Walker can assume the physical appearance of whomever they have been learning. The process, however, is seemingly painful as they have to shed their own skin in order to take on someone else's. And to turn back into themselves or another person, they have to repeat the process. It would seem that taking on the form of an animal is much the same - their body reforms and changes into whatever animal shape they've learned.
Banshee are sometimes known as the Wailing woman. They originate from areas that are most commonly associated with Celtic culture, but can be found in a scant few other regions. They are extremely rare. A banshee is born into a bloodline and there can only be one banshee per bloodline at a time. Mysteriously enough, they seem to favor areas which have other long standing, powerful bloodline almost as though they too seek a pack...
Largely believed to mythical or extinct the Phoenix is a special breed among the supernatural community. Known in Greek and Egyption mythology they have many supernatural abilities. Among those abilities are Rebirth, Regeneration, Immunity to fire and super human durability. They are extremely uncommon and because of their ability to rise from the ashes they rarely even know they are a phoenix. A Phoenix's abilities lay dormant until the first time they would "die" and they are reborn.

This pack was formed very recently and unintentionally. A sophomore at the time, Scott McCall was bitten by Peter Hale and left alone to figure out his life as a werewolf at first with his best friend Stiles Stilinski. Soon another werewolf by the name of Derek Hale tried to help train him so that he'd be ready to take on the Alpha who had bit him. Along with a few more of their friends, Scott and Stiles have succeeded in killing Peter Hale. Since then they have been searching for a way to be normal in a world that seems to involve them in the supernatural at every turn.
The Hale pack can be traced back to the origin days of Werewolves, though the bloodline may die off soon. That is due of the fact that only a few of the borne wolves from that bloodline exist anymore because of a fire that happened six years ago. It killed all but four members. Recently another two of those remaining four Hales have been killed - Laura and Peter Hale. Since then Derek has inherited the Alpha power and status of his family and has been working to build himself a pack by selectively taking in teenagers who also crave acceptance.

The Argents have been around since the 1700's and hunting werewolves is their trade. They are a wealthy and powerful family that spans most of the western world. Other hunter groups exist but do not share the Argent's resources or reach.

Not much can be said about those who are unclaimed by one group or another. What is known is that most who know about the supernatural don't last very long in turbulent times without some friends.
The Sheriff's station is modest but plays a pivotal role in protecting the town, or so everyone thinks. It boasts two full holding cells as well as one isolation room for any suspects that might be considered too dangerous to mingle with others. The front desk is open and inviting; hiding a total of 10 desks in a large room and an office for the Sheriff. There is always a deputy on duty as a receptionist as well as four other deputies at the station for both shifts of the day. The vehicles are well cared for and I hear that they have the best dental insurance around town.
For some a High School is a place to remember and think of fondly, but for most students who go there it's just another institution of hell. For such a small city the school really does have some extensive equipment...so what if it's a little battered and falling apart? At least it's still there.
Over the years the Bowling Alley has had to adjust a few things to keep attracting the population. What it's done right is the fact that it's been loyal to the community and somehow gotten a run of good luck because of that. After all, this is probably the safest place in town.
