Heart of Eterni-Tea is a small family-run tea shop and restaurant opened about twenty-eight years ago by the Tora family and are usually seen at some point throughout the day (normally Yukiko). When walking in, the sounds of classical Japanese flute is heard for atmosphere and the servers wear short kimonos and their hair pulled back. It serves all manner of teas and oriental-styled foods. Usually open during the day, it is closed by the late evenings.

On the second floor, above the shop, is a cozy single bedroom, one bathroom apartment that is usually for rent when one of the Tora's are not staying there. (Ask creator first.)

The roar of the engine would die down, the engine's vibrations lowering as the faint song of flute increased into Kai's presence. Was this the spot? Looking at a piece of paper, it seemed that the addresses did match up. Smaller than I expected, but if it has more recommendations than some of the other brands, I can't complain. Unless it sucks He thought to himself as he took his helmet off, the faint sound of flute increasing but not dominant yet. Kicking the stand down to keep his bike up, he would head off of it and put the helmet down to hang on the handlebar. He was dressed in his alternate attire that made him look more feminine in nature at a glance. Opening the door, the sound of classical Japanese flute increased exponentially, flooding his ears as he walked inside. It was an atmosphere that he could appreciate. The calming tones of woodwind accompany's a meal perfectly. Of course, one probably wouldn't call what he was looking for a meal. He had his messenger bag slung over his shoulder that had the normal in it which was his notebook and a pen. Walking in deeper into the restaurant, he waited to be greeted. His eyes scanning the small place. "Lovely furniture and atmosphere"
It was a rather beautiful day outside, which complimented the peace inside Eterni-Tea. The faintest sound of a tinkling bell could be heard, gently alerting to someone's entrance of the shop. A well-endowed and fairly tall female with white tiger ears and tail walked with a confident grace towards the young man that had just entered the tea shop. Her outfit was a shorter version of a traditional kimono along with heels and her legs only veiled by dark stockings that went up to her thighs. Her hair was pulled back into a neat braided bun.
Her smooth red lips were curved into a welcoming smile as she looked up to the young man before her, a deep red leather menu in her right hand at her side."Welcome to Heart of Eterni-Tea, please follow me."She greeted with a small bow at the waist before rising to proper posture once more before turning and leading him to a table usually meant for two and by a window. My, he's cute. She thought to herself. Once he was seated, she would hand him the menu as she spoke. Though Yuki had her flirtations, she had a feeling this young man was not the type, so she would keep it professional, for the time being."My name is Yukiko, and I shall be your server today. Shall I start you off with something to drink?"

As if on cue, he would soon be greeted. It was obvious from the sight she was a faunus. A well endowed faunus who one would think probably was a model during her spare time. Especially how confident and with grace her stride was as she came to Kai. She was a beautiful woman with her dark stockings, short kimono, heels, and matched with her luscious red lips. Kai got a strange feeling that some people may have came to this place to look at the woman more than drink tea and eat. Still that was speculation. Was Kai awestruck? Yes and no. While beautiful, it wasn't that the woman couldn't be his type or that he swung the other way. Kai was a complicated being. Best way to put it, looks wasn't a way to hook him. But there no reason explore more into this since romance was foreign and completely out of character for him at this time.
Speaking of out of character, the hostess was able to get a genuine smile out of Kai which was something rare for the male. She chose the perfect place, an area where he can look outside and think while writing. It greatly added too the experience and he hadn't even tasted anything yet. Makes me wish we had a place like this back in Vacuo....It will be brought back.. I won't rest until it doesHis thoughts brightened as he sat down and looked at the menu, going over some of the items displayed in the deep red leathered guide. "Gladly, I will take two. Some green tea and some sake to start with." he started as he looked over the menu more, thinking about which tasty treats he was going to buy. One thing was for sure. The kitchen wasn't going to have to work hard cause meats, starches, and such he wasn't ordering. If it wasn't sweet with sugar, he wasn't buying. "My name is Kai. A place of this style, I wish I had found it long ago" he complimented before thinking back about Vacuo. It was hard to believe it been so many years.
The tigress smiled kindly when he had said he was ready, taking out her notepad and pen, she wrote down his drink order."Excellent. For the green tea and sake, would you like them hot or cold?"She inquired, as there was a difference in taste to both of them. Different people had different tastes. Her ice-blue eyes watched him casually as she waited for her guest's answerHe seems new...She thought to herself, her tail swaying slowly behind her. Her thought was so only because she wad familiar with almost everyone that passed through the shopping district since she was very young; it was practically a second home after all. Her eyes would briefly look outside before returning to the young man sitting before her; touched by his compliment."Pleasure. Well, better late than never,"She replied with with a platonic manner.

Kai would stop and think, wondering what would be the best way to enjoy the drinks. "Sake cold and the green tea hot. If you wouldn't mind, have the sake come out after I try a cake or two. " He requests sweetly before focus went back to the menu. The waitress wasn't wrong to be thinking about the fact that there was something off about Kai. He wasn't new, but he wasn't from Vale originally either. He just was a person who normally kept to themselves. "Yeah." he responds thinking about Vacuo again and the other places that fell again. He would be staring at the menu before going back to reality. "I believe I know what I want to order", he starts before putting the menu down and looking at the woman. "I would like 2 slices of strawberry short cake, 3 of the German chocolate cake, and 2 of the Chocolate Coffee cake. Oh, I forgot. A slice of carrot cake" He hoped that she knew he was totally serious about the extreme amount of cake that he ordered. He could just taste the baked goodness. Luckily he did not start drooling.
The tigress smiled kindly, patient as he had answered her questions and nodded in approval of his decision for each."Wise choices,"She replied politely before he would say he was ready to order. Her tail swayed back and forth, only pausing as the order grew. But she wrote it all down, both impressed and amused.Ichi will have himself a time,She thought with a small internal giggle."Okay, so let me see if I have this correct: 2 slices of the strawberry short cake, 3 slices of German Chocolate, and 2 of Chocolate coffee cake.""She repeated then nodded slightly. The server would then only have one more question before this order would be complete. "Would you like each slice brought out one at a time or all at once," Yukiko inquired, being completely serious as each customer was different and she respected that.

Kai would open his messenger bag and take out his notebook while she was working on going over what he ordered. Listening, he would nod as he took out a pen as well. "That's correct, except you forgot the carrot cake as well" He corrected before opening to a new page. "Well, I will settle for them to come out all at once. Since not like hot foods, sitting out won't be so bad for them" He answers before thinking about something. H heard this place been around for a while. So, he was interested in some perspective. "Oh, I have a question. If you got a minute after the order.... I am curious about something" he informed before looking at her. From what he gathered, she may have some information he wanted. "Could you tell me how things were in the past? I only been in vale for a little bit. Not too long. I was in Vacuo then went to Atlas, and now I am here." he explained. He only been in vale for about, maybe 5 years. So, a lot he needed to learn. He wasn't impressed with Beacon academy though, but being trained into a super huntsmen kind of did that to you.
The tigress corrected her mistake when the carrot cake was mentioned and nodded slightly; rather than getting embarrassed or flustered her expression remained calm with a slight smile."Right, sorry. And one slice of carrot cake,"She repeated casually. To his request of having them all out at once, she nodded slightly.Oh? And what would that be, cutie,She thought as she looked to him curiously, waiting for him to continue.
His request sort of surprised her, but she was curious what he could ask before he explained. Her expression changed to one of curiosity as she tapped the tip of the pen on her chin. She had lived in Vale all her life, even in the apartment above this very shop for her childhood. So, yes, there was a lot she could tell him. Her icy-blue eyes looked to him and she smiled with apology. He seems like such a nice man,She thought but she also had to think about her other customers."I would love to, but maybe another time?"She suggested politely, before she would write down the carrot cake.
"I'll return with your green tea and sake while you wait for your cakes,"Yukiko said kindly, if there were no other questions, the waitress would turn and walk away to do just as she said.

Kai nodded at her correction to the carrot cake. Everything was going as he imagined it except that she wasn't going to give him the information that he was looking for. It wasn't an outright no but she was speaking of another time. He didn't truly have that. Or more, he was a little impatient for it. Rubbing his chin, he would look at her and look as if he was coming up with an analysis. "Hmm, I do see that things are getting a little busy around here. I have nothing today for the rest of the day, maybe when things get slow or at end of the work day? " He proposed before going back to his notebook. Too close now. I can't fail right now. Though, While I would love to come back again, I not sure if those are options or not. Then again, if I have to come back here everyday just to get the information I need I will do it. Besides, this place isn't bad. Good atmosphere, lovely hostess, and food seems good. Maybe, I can treat myself once Kai In mid thought, he didn't notice that his hair had fell to cover his eyes. It would come apparent once he tried look down at his notebook and saw nothing but blonde.
She was going to go fetch the drinks, his questions answered or would soon to be answered. He looked more closely at her, just trying to study more of the faunus traits. He had heard there were plenty of villains around. None of them wanted to rob a shop like this? It could be a huge score, but he figured that it probably was the fact she either had hired gun or she handled things herself. He had seen many strange things. He even had a spar with someone that wasn't even 5 foot tall but she was a bad a**, so the option that the hostess was one was still on the table. Attending to his notebook, he started scribbling down some things. On left side it had all his failures and on right side he had future plans.
Left Side: Blue haired girl's family didn't all make it, atlas evacuation wasn't fully successful. Parents dead. Right Side: End this grim Nightmare. Learn more about Vale. Learn about Beacon Academy at this time.
Yukiko looked to the young man before her. She would then leave to the kitchen in the back first, calling to the chef that there was an order up. Tail swaying low, she would walk back to the special place in the tea shop. This was where the magic happened.
Going behind the counter and going into the back that would have a station and counter. Opening up the cabinets she would find the jars of loose tea leaves, going through the process of making the tea freshly. Closing her eyes for a split second, enjoying the scent. Once it was done, she take out the strainer, she would then put it away. Placing it on a small tea tray, then prepped and poured the sake in its proper glass before she would place it on the tray as well.
Smiling kindly, she would take the tray, she would walk over to the gentleman once before."I should be free after work. That's in a couple hours,"She replied as she set down the sake first and then almost silently set down the hot green tea."May he enjoy it,"She thought sincerely."You cakes should be out in just a few,"She assured him politely before going to greet and seat a couple that just came.

Working more in his notebook, the next page would look something more like an MLA format essay. Working more, he grimaced a little, annoyed at his body. Why so? Did he hate the way he looked? No. Was he hurt? Kind of. How if he had aura? Requirement to use your semblance correct? This is true. However, Kai had really good control over his aura. Which made no sense. If this is the case, then why does it seem like he in pain? This was because he was causing himself pain. He should of been healed, but he was keeping his Aura from healing himself. it was part of his training and something deeper. More part of his guilt, but he had nothing to be guilty about. From a neutral prospective, he was too young to even be helping out in both situations so the fact he was a big help was a plus. He didn't see it that way. It was the downside of being someone calculated. A perfectionist when it came to certain things. SO, He trains himself to exhaustion. Most his injuries self inflicted from these injuries. Would he ever get rid of that bondage? Probably not. As she sat down the tray, he dropped his writing instrument to the floor. A small noise being produced. He quickly went to go get it, not realizing that it probably look weird and kind of pervert like from a distance thanks to her short kimono and him staying down longer than one would expect. The extension of his body slow in movement, a visual grimace on his face when he finally was sitting back upright. "Sorry about that. I don't mind the wait. We can talk then," he replies growing internally annoyed with his body. Writing, he would note he need to push his training harder to gain more of a tolerance. Looking at the liquids that were in front of him, he would settle for the hot green tea first, letting the warm liquid raise his internal temperature a degree or two. The announcement of the cakes being out soon, he couldn't wait. Sipping more of his green tea, he would look over to the couple that came in and watching them, he was somewhat intrigued but had great confusion. They seemed to relish in joy from one another, but how can one gain joy just being around another person. It wasn't like they were training or anything. It was just, a meal perhaps? What makes a meal different with a person than by oneself. Maybe they were going over battle plans or tactics. That made more sense to him. Or maybe finished playing chess. [i]They have a weird sense of joy..
If Yukiko noticed the injuries or any signs of it, she didn't lead on that she noticed. Instead, she had minded her own business before going to take care of more customers. Though as she seated the lovely couple to a small booth close to another window, she would take their drink orders before disappearing a bit. Returning with a tray that held two glasses and an elegantly white teapot.
After a bit, she would disappear once more, returning to Kai's table, a large tray in one hand, perfectly balanced on her left hand before setting down each plate carefully on the table before her voracious customer. Each slice looked and smelled baked to perfection."Enjoy,"She told him, tray resting before her. She then bowed and left to take care of her other customers."Should be interesting for sure,"She thought to herself before smiling slightly.

❝Be Prepared, or expect Death's hand to grab you ❞
He would end up studying the couple more and more. The joy that they were getting kept going over his head. Fortunately, his food was coming up. Seeing the tray of delicious cake being presented to him, he would hear his stomach growl. It was one of hunger and cheerfulness. His stomach was ready to receive the sugary goodness that was being set before him. Each plate carefully placed into his sight. Looking at the 8 slices of cake in front of him, he immediately picked up his spoon and munched away. His spoon would pierce through the sugary walls of a German chocolate cake first. Taking a scoop to the mouth, he would moan audibly in joy and pleasure. It sounded very....questionable. Could one gain orgasmic joy from food? Kai surely could. He couldn't control it either. They did fade as he ate more. Spoonful by spoonful, more was eaten. Why was he using a spoon instead of a fork? Because a fork you can't scoop up the crumbs!! Finally finishing the first slice, he would drink more of his tea to wash it down. "Really good. " He whispers. A smile on his face. A sign of happiness. What's the next slice? It didn't matter!
When he went for his next slice, the strawberry short cake along with the sake. The sake going down his throat quickly reminding him he wasn't a heavy drinker. He wasn't going get drunk or tipsy. No. None of that. He definitely felt it going down though. Tasted good. He probably shouldn't get another order of it though. He did think about it. For is love of cake, he didn't seem too out of normal. In fact, besides the moans there wasn't anything crazy. That was because he was just getting started. Taking a first bite of the strawberry flavor, sucked on the spoon, trying to take all the flavor off of it. Every single molecule of cake. "Delightful" he commented before going practically insane. Within the next few moments, he started to dig in crazily on the cake. Like a machine, his spoon worked against the cake. Soon, it was gone and he would move on to the chocolate coffee cake. Once that cake was gone, he would move on to the next one. He would continue until he had one cake left which was the carrot cake. If he was a dog faunus, his tail would be wagging fast enough for him to take flight like a helicopter.
Before he attacked the last piece, he felt there was something on his lips. In fact, there was a lot of things. Many different types of flavors and frostings were all on his lips and a little dripped to his chin. Taking his tongue, he licked his lips around. His tongue making sure get off all the sugary frosting that was there. For his chin which he couldn't reach, his napkin would wipe it off. For shame he couldn't reach it with his tongue but the few grams of sugar lost wouldn't hurt him too bad. Now on his last piece, he ate it painstaking it slowly, taking the cake by nibbles. He wanted to make it last and last it did. He didn't know how long it took him, but he finally would make it to the end after some time had passed. Sitting back with his belly happy and filled with cake, he felt stuffed as a pig. 8 Slices?! He gonna have a hard time burning all of that
Having been walking the streets of Vale after working at her venue, she wanted to go home, but she left if she did, she wouldn't be alive come tomorrow. A few people on the streets had been talking about this tea shop. It was time to go visit because she needed sweets and tea right now. Continuing to walk, she hope she made it before the doors closed. It would be ashamed because this might be the thing that saved her from having a downward spiral. Finally getting there, she had to think about it before she entered. Was it really healthy to be eating her depression away? She didn't care as she opened the door to the shop and walked to the front counter.
Before she ordered anything, she took a look around the place. There was a couple sitting down and there was someone else eating what seemed to be the whole cake. Stopping at the counter, she saw the tiger fanus that was the owner of the shop. "Hey. Um...Can I have a dozen cookies and a pot of tea or just a cup." Jacqueline asked. "The name is Jacqueline. Jacqueline Heth to be exact. I pass by your shop a lot on they way to my venue. People have spoken nothing but good things about you." Jackie was trying to be friendly. It wasn't really life her, but she was asking for a dozen cookies and a whole pot of tea/. That was a lot to ask and you are being cruel. She hoped her order was doable because she was desperate at the moment.Waiting to be told a price and weather or not what she was requesting was reasonable, she pulled her wallet out her leather bag. "How much?" She questioned.
