- Gabrielle's studies in magic have lead her down an interesting path, using her research on the flow of mana to create a style she ended up dubbing Siege magic. It consists of using a mix of Earth and Light magic to create large or small projectiles that can cross large distances that most other spells wouldn't even come close to. Deadly at long range, it has it's drawbacks in sheer force upon the caster as well as the need to be anchored, along with the obvious lack of close range.
Continuing to follow her focus on the flow of mana, Gabrielle turned her gaze inward onto the study of Enhancement magic. This also came in handy when dealing with the weaknesses of the previous school of magic, giving both a boost to Siege magic itself as well as a boost to her close range protection. It went so well she could not it up!
Golemancy is a much more recent addition to Ellie's repertoire, inspired by her old master in particular. While her master's practice was only something similar to Golemancy, and a bit too advanced for the younger mage to delve into, Ellie settled with the next best thing! And it has come to be such a joy for her as well as an interesting experiment in the flow of magic of smaller creatures.

- Through the different schools and styles of magic Ellie practices, her affinities have developed as thus. Earth and Light being her strongest of the three, she has practiced spells that fall under them for nearly all her life. Wind is a more recent addition, stemming from the school of Enchantment, but Ellie has extended its use into Siege as well. It sure comes in handy for quite a lot of things! Especially fun spells like the combination of wind and light to create floating disks that can be used to move trunks, small animals, and sometimes even Gabrielle herself! (when she is feeling a bit lazy)

- Ellie has always been fascinated by the craft, spark being lit by various traveling troupes who would pass through a nearby town to the institute. It was one of the few things she was allowed to get out and do, bringing it home to practice in front of the mirror. She was encouraged to continue to foster creativity through acting that it might even help her magics.
It is believed this is the origin of Thumper, her puppet. Though, to Ellie the bunny has always been its own entity, with personal thoughts and feelings, much like an imaginary friend brought to life. Gabrielle doesn't even really understand the concept of ventriloquism and thus does not connect it to Thumper. You won't even catch her referring to Thumper as a puppet, but instead her good friend!
Magic Item: Focus Rod
- Hand crafted by Ellie herself, this staff is quite the interesting contraption. Made of a rare material called Veinwood, it is extremely conductive of magic. In nature it can become quite brittle, but when the wood is tempered with magic through the artifice process, it becomes nearly as hard as steel. The staff is even hollowed out and filled with a special sap that also helps with the focus and precision of the magic flowing through it. Its shape is fairly straight from the bottom to near the top, where it quickly bends into something of a triangle which can be positioned up against Gabrielle's shoulder when casting her Siege magic. A crystal hangs within the bend that acts as a focus or chamber to store the mana before it is sent into the staff to cast her spells.
Fighting Style: Hand-to-hand/Knives
(Advanced/Advanced)
- As much as Gabrielle wants to be able to protect herself from all manner of things with magic and her staff, she knows it has it's closer ranged weaknesses. To counter act this fact, Ellie has done her best to pick up a martial fighting style, specifically hand-to-hand and knives. She is still a bit unrefined in her practice, but with how many years she has under her belt, the small mage is able to make do. She even uses a light routine of exercise to keep her body in fighting shape (or at least as much as she can manage), specifically something called Tai Chi.

- Ellie is quite the focused individual. Loves her work and can be in it for the long hall that a study might call for. Patient and precise, she makes sure she knows everything she needs before execution. She just hopes to meet new people, have a good time, and learn from the experience. A bubbly personality, albeit still a bit shy, she has made an amazing effort learning to be more social after her sheltered upbringing.

Quite a sheltered child, Gabrielle was, whisked away at a young age to learn magic with a prominent mage. Taking to the art quickly, it didn't take her long to venture out to begin her own study. Nature was where she found her soul most shined as she studied the flow of magic and its elements. Developing an interesting staff that she found best suited the study if flow, as well as doubled as a precision protection device, she was able to take care of herself with the least impact on the setting around her.
But she found that there was a little more needed, particularly somewhere she could best conduct her research. When word reached her of a prestigious academy in the heart of Aeston, she couldn't help but rush to its halls. Maybe she would be able to work on both her research and learning how best to pass on her knowledge to those young minds. So taking up those instruments granted by her old teacher, and those bought to fill the gaps, Ellie set off toward QCA with stars in her eyes, and a bright future on the horizon.

- Goldie: A little mud golem that Ellie has been practicing on. She likes to practice changing its form, shifting it between different little animals. Though it is always easy to tell it is a golem as it mostly looks fairly earthy and rocky.

- Thumper: The small bunny puppet that Ellie can be seen with a good portion of the time. It is one of her closest friends and motivations to become more social and outgoing as her life in the institute has left her a bit socially inept. Thumper is quite outspoken, does not hold back thoughts, and will even try to defend Ellie from time to time; where he gets that hammer... no one knows. She has to apologizing quite a bit for him, but she still holds him very close to her heart!
