-_-_-_-_-Rules and Regulations
-_-_-_-_-Be sure to read and keep them in mind!

___Guild Creation Policy:
Whenever you, a member of Shinobi Nations, submit any idea or finished product for guild usage you must also recognize that the guild, as a whole, has the right to alter or remove such ideas or finished products in order to expel any conflicts that may arise because of such ideas/products.

___General Rules:
• Follow the Gaia Terms of Service.
• Always avoid performing “Auto Acts” (see below). If you suspect an “Auto Act” has been committed, report it to a crew member for review.
• Performing any Auto Act results in a strike. If three [3] strikes are accumulated, you will be banned.
• Do not make threads within villages or countries without the Village Leader's permission.
• Disrespect out of character (OOC) is a punishable offense.
• If you are quitting the guild, simply do so. Please do not make a thread on the main page about it.
• Do not steal any material in this or any other guild.
• There is a lot of content in the guild, and undoubtedly a surfeit of ways to break the systems to create overpowered characters or circumvent the systems' intended operations. We kindly ask that you refrain from doing so, as it tends not to be enjoyable for others. Nothing's stopping you from having mock fights in the Jigen Arena, though.

___Auto Acts:
• God-Moding :: Being stronger, quicker, and all around better than your opponent without any explanation as to why.
• Auto-Killing :: Claiming that you have killed your opponent without allowing for a response. (Example: “I sneak up behind you and cut off your head.”) In addition to this, you can only kill another RPC with their owner's consent.
• Auto-Hitting :: Landing a blow without allowing an opponent time to react, unless permission is given.
• Auto-Evading :: Escaping any, and all, attacks without taking any damage. Repeatedly avoiding attacks, disregarding your character’s limitations.
• Auto-Knowing :: Your character knowing things they have no reason to. Additionally, being able to detect when you are inside of a Genjutsu without explanation.
• Auto-Entrance :: Passing into a village without knocking on the gates. This rule can only be ignored by very precise circumstances, such as not receiving a response for five (5) days or being previously granted permission for entrance. It is generally a good idea to contact the leader of the village directly before entering, to help prevent headaches later on.

-_-_-_-_-Character Rules and Regulations
-_-_-_-_-What you can and can't do with a character!

___Roleplay Rules:
• No canon characters are to be created.
• Characters based on other series can be created so long as they can be made to blend in with the setting. Please stay away from directly copying characters from other series, especially very well-known ones.
• Unless stated otherwise, you may only create humans. Contact a moderator if you think you have a compelling case for breaking this rule.
• You can have any number of civilian and shinobi characters active at one time. No more than one of your shinobi characters can be affiliated with a single village or organization at a time.
• You cannot create your own bloodlines. Ideas may be submitted for crew to review, but their acceptance is not guaranteed.
• You cannot create a character with more than one bloodline or clan barring special circumstances, such as with the Combo Kekkei Genkai bloodline.
• You cannot use weapons and items that are not related to the Naruto universe's technology. (Example: guns, robots, etc, except for what is shown in the series.) If a piece of technology breaks the aesthetic of the series, chances are it isn't allowed.
• Demons are given out through in-character events. Trading away a demon carries risks (typically death) for their former host.
• Always keep your strengths and weaknesses in mind.
• All characters start at E- or D-Rank.
• None of your characters may interact with each other in any way that benefits any of them.
• If one of your characters has one of the following, the others cannot:
-_-_-• A specific bloodline or clan.
-_-_-• Animal Sage status.
-_-_-• A Bijuu.
-_-_-• A Curse Mark.
-_-_-• One of the Seven Swords.
-_-_-• A specific jutsu that consumes a style slot to learn.
• If you don't like how a character plays once you've started with them, you can completely redo them by reposting them in the profile approval thread. Please quote a moderator when you do so. This can only be done with characters up to C-Rank Body.
• If you want to change one of your character's PAs but don't want to totally resubmit them, you may do so in-character by spending 10 posts (with no applicable reductions) adjusting to whatever has happened to them to cause the change. The new PA must be approved in the profile approval thread before it can be used if it's not on the automatic acceptance list. It's up to you to come up with an in-character justification you like!

___Creation Overview:
• Every character has two classes, with one discipline from each except where noted.
• A character's Chakra and Stamina pools are the total of what is granted by each of their classes.
• Bonuses granted by classes stack with each other.
• Jutsu slots are granted by classes. If a certain class has an effect that mirrors/duplicates slots between different categories, that effect only applies to slots from that class.
• You get 1 Locked Formless Style slot, which automatically remains trained up to your Body Rank. See the Formless Styles guide for more information.
Personal Attribute (PA): A powerful passive ability that sets a character apart from others. All characters have at least two. See the PA Guide for more information.
Body Rank: How strong or skilled a character is. Determined by AC. Dictates when you get class bonuses and access to training missions (see below). Listed as D-Rank, C-Rank, etc.
Title Rank: How famous, trusted, etc., a character is. Usually roughly corresponds to Body Rank, but not necessarily. Dictates access to Jutsu, scrolls, and other classified information and items. Listed as Genin, Chuunin, Vagabond, Outlaw, etc.
Training Missions: Special missions (listed in the Missions subforum) that can only be completed a limited number of times by characters at or above their rank in Body Rank. They increase Chakra and Stamina by the listed amounts.
• On increasing Body Rank, a character gains:
-_-_-• Jutsu slots, Chakra, Stamina, and abilities from both classes.
-_-_-• 2 Formless Slots.
-_-_-• 1 Augment Slot.
-_-_-• Access to new training missions.

___Training Rules:
• If something reads "# post(s)", please remember that 3-4 sentences counts as 1 post.
• Proof! The basic and key rule of training!
___[Link To Training Proof Outline]
• Techniques can be trained through combat. 1 combat post can be a maximum of 1 training post, and you have to try using the technique at least once per training post. An attempted use that fails takes only half the technique's cost.
• The final step to learning a technique is performing it correctly, which requires the requisite chakra and/or stamina! Please remember to rest often if doing a lot of training.
• X-Rank techniques, unless otherwise stated, only require training posts of their base rank. Use of that technique at higher ranks does not require it to be learned at that rank.

-_-_-_-_-Fight Rules and Regulations
-_-_-_-_-What you can and can't do in a fight!

___General Rules:
• Avoid making things unpleasant for the people controlling your fellow combatants. It's encouraged to work things out with them OOC before things get out of hand.
• See the rule about avoiding breaking the guild's systems. Violations of this in combat scenarios with other roleplayers may be punished more so than elsewhere.
• We reserve the right to adjust how certain things work if a serious problem is uncovered.

___RP Fighting Regulations:
• Abide by the flow of battle:
_-_-_1) Attack.
_-_-_2) Allow opponent’s reaction.
_-_-_3) Repeat.
• When something reads “Lasts # Posts”, it means that many of your own posts unless otherwise specified, starting with the post the effect began in.
• Always recognize your class’ strengths and weaknesses during battle. (Ninjutsu class is probably not going to beat a Bukijutsu class in a sword fight, barring some creative tricks.)
• There can only be 3 jutsu activations per post. A maximum of 2 of those activations may be offensive. This excludes passive or sustained techniques.
• Do not double post. It is best if you quote everyone involved and follow the established post order of combat. If someone does not reply within 2 days you may skip them and resume the post order. Shorter or longer deadlines may be imposed as necessary.

___Multiple Entity Fighting Regulations:
Barrage: The name given to multiple attacks made against a single entity or group of entities by one character and anything they control, such as clones. Defending against a barrage takes a technique that matches or exceeds its strength, as determined by the total cost of all the attacks made. A barrage's strength is capped at S+, regardless of how much Chakra and/or Stamina was put into it.
Activations: Unless otherwise stated, all entities created or called forth by Jutsu (such as clones and summoned creatures) share their activations with the entity that used the Jutsu, meaning they collectively have one character's worth of activations. Shinobi-trained animals and NPCs also follow this restriction.
Splitting up: If not engaging in the same fight as their owner and not in the same thread, that restriction is lifted and they gain 3 actions as though they were a normal character. Pets have a limit of 1 activation; 2 if they have shinobi training; 3 if they're Tamer pets.
Tamer Pets: Tamers and their pets share activations, Chakra, and Stamina as above, but have a limit of 4 total activations when working together. The maximum number of activations a single one of them can do is 3, and they are collectively limited to 2 offensive actions against one character.
Pet Energy: When operating on their own, Tamer pets have half their Tamer's Chakra and Stamina available to them, determined at the time they split up. Pets with shinobi training have 100 Chakra and 100 Stamina. Regular pets do not have any appreciable amount of Chakra or Stamina beyond what is needed for their survival. For groups of animals, these amounts are applied to the group as a collective, not to the animals individually.
Pet Smarts: Tamer animals generally have human-level intelligence and can function perfectly fine away from their Tamer. Shinobi-trained animals follow their owner's lead and default to standard animal behavior when encountering a startling or new situation away from their owner. Standard animals act like normal animals would when separated from their owner.
Groups: Groups share activations with each other if they're away from their in the same thread.
Clones: Clone techniques typically generate 1-3 clones per use. Clones must remain within the same subforum as their creator. They draw on their creator's Chakra and Stamina to perform techniques. Illusory clones (such as those generated by the basic Bunshin no Jutsu [ Clone Technique ] do not consume Chakra, Stamina, or activations to feign actions.
Summons: Summoning techniques summon typically only one creature or object. Summoned entities are not tied to the summoner by distance and draw on their own Chakra and Stamina pools.
