Hyouton [ Ice Release ] Ice as Cold as the Blackest Heart
 ___Background: ___Ice Release (氷遁, Hyōton; Viz "Ice Style" ) is the advanced nature kekkei genkai of the Yuki clan, and allows the users to combine wind and water-based chakra to create ice which they can manipulate through willpower alone. Their ice is resistant to fire-based attacks, only melting slightly when coming into contact with flames from even the mighty Uchiha clan.
___Traits: • All Hyōton users have Suiton [ Water ] and Fuuton [ Wind ] as chakra elements. • All Hyōton users learn Suiton [ Water ] and Fuuton [ Wind ] jutsu one [1] post faster. • All Hyōton users are capable of performing techniques with a single hand. • Hyōton ice is very difficult to melt, beating Katon techniques up to a rank higher. • Ice Release users have a natural curiosity towards ice-type jutsus not of their clan, learning them as if they were. (Shinsetsu Clan excluded) • Hyouton techniques paired up with those from the Shinsetsu Clan are treated as 2 ranks higher in ability--rather than 1--for purposes of Korabo Ninjutsu.
___Special Abilities: Hyouton [ Ice Release ] Description: The act of combining wind and water chakra in order to generate water-composed ice, and the most fundamental training for a Hyouton user. This method of freezing can be performed on existing bodies of water, or by manipulating the minute amount of water molecules in the air; either way, it is an impressive and powerful feat. Must be learned before any other Hyouton techniques, as it allows access to both them and the Formless Hyouton no Jutsu. Training Time: 10 posts.
Fubuki no Koori Bakudan [ Fubuki’s Ice Bombs ] Hazard Primary: External Description: A type of explosive that only Hyouton users can craft. When detonated, these blue crystal orbs explode into a branching tree of ice spikes. One bomb may be created per 3 posts of crafting, with each one acting as a D-Rank technique. This is treated as Rare Materials Smithing for purposes of gaining Quality Points. Increasing the item’s quality increases the rank of the effect by one; increasing the quantity functions as normal. Training Time: 5 posts.
___Techniques: Higu no Jutsu [ Ice Tool Technique ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: Internal Description: The user performs a single handsign, holds a piece of ice with the opposite, and melds it thusly. Anywhere from three [3] to five [5] basic ninja tools can be created per usage. ( Basic ninja tools are simple, small projectiles like shuriken, kunai, senbon, etc. )
Shimogakure no Jutsu [ Hiding in Frost Technique ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: External Description: The user covers the surrounding area in a thick frost in which they can camouflage themselves and then sneak up on the enemy to attack or assassinate them. Inflicts 1 dose of frostbite to anyone in the area, instead of 1/2, per post. Works in every other way like Kirigakure no Jutsu [ Hiding in Mist Technique ].
Suiton: Rekkū Suigeki [ Water Release: Cold Sky Water Attack ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: Internal Description: The user shoots numerous amount of extremely large darts of ice from their mouth at high speeds which can easily shatter rock.
Hyōrō no Jutsu [ Ice Prison Technique ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: External Description: This technique allows the user to infuse their chakra with ice underground and bring it to the surface. The user can then trap their opponent within the ice by controlling its movements and completely surrounding them in the ice. It is strong enough to withstand basic Fire Release techniques, because the ice has already been infused with the user's chakra. This allows to double as a defensive technique, by the user encasing themselves in the ice. Inflicts 1 dose of frostbite to anyone in the area, instead of 1/2, per post.
Hyōton: Tsubame Fubuki [ Ice Release: Swallow Snow Storm ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: Internal Description: The user will hold out their palm, creating a cluster of ice needles in the shape of miniature swallows out of preexisting ice, which the user then throws at the opponent. These needles can change direction in midair and will maim the opponent with their sharp wings, so long as their last handsign formation is held. Unfortunately, because of their fragility, an equally strong Katon technique can melt them.
Hissatsu Hyōsō [ Certain-Kill Ice Spears ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: External Description: The user unleashes giant spikes made of ice if they are endangered. Haku used this technique when he defended himself from his father when he attempted to kill him because of his kekkei genkai. Formerly known as the Hi Kasui no Jutsu [ Ice Spike Technique ]: After performing the needed handsigns, the user causes thirty [30] foot tall spikes of ice to emerge from the ground in a ten [10] yard radius of their choosing. The spikes raise at a good speed, but are not reliable in an open area, or on unhindered targets.
Hyōton: Hi Bouheki [ Ice Release: Protective Ice Dome ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: External Description: The user will stretch both arms forward, their palms open, and force water and wind to meld into a medium sized dome of durable ice around himself and his allies. The ice formed this way is extremely strong, and even constant barrage by explosive tags is proven useless. It should be noted that the user must hold both arms out in order to maintain the technique.
Hyōton: Haryū Mōko [ Ice Release: Tearing Dragon Fierce Tiger] Rank: B :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: External Description: This technique allows the user to manipulate preexisting ice and form it into a giant tiger, thus requiring a nearby source of ice in order to use this technique. It is cold enough to freeze any Water Release techniques when it comes into contact with. (maximally B-ranked Suiton)
Hyōton: Kokuryū Bōfūsetsu [ Ice Release: Black Dragon Blizzard ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: External Description: After performing the needed handsigns, the user will thrust forward their arm, gathering ice and water to their fist. In the same motion, the user will send a coiling torrent of liquid black ice, whose rotation results in the front of the blizzard to take on the appearance of a dragon's head, at their target. Aside being extremely cold and able to freeze nearby bodies of water, the blizzard sustains incredible ramming force. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form. Inflicts 1 dose of frostbite to anyone in the area, instead of 1/2, per post.
Hyōton: Ikkaku Hakugei [ Ice Release: One Horned White Whale ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: Internal Description: After performing the needed handsigns, the user forces a massive single horned whale to rise up from a nearby supply of water or ice. Because of its massive size, the whale is only effective as a distraction, on restrained or immobile targets, or as a creature to absorb an incoming blow. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form.
Hyōton: Rōga Nadare no Jutsu [ Ice Release: Wolf Fang Avalanche Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: Internal Description: After performing the needed handsigns, the user will cause nearby ice to take on the form of a hunting pack [3] of white wolves. These wolves are completely controlled by the whim of the creator, and are capable of causing severe physical injury on their target, thanks to their speed and raw cold strength. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form. When used as an avalanche, the entire snow supply will be used, creating dozens of wolves. This technique has a weakness to lightning-based techniques.
Kanki Kyouka no Michi [ Frost Reinforce Method ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: None Description: The user will surge additional chakra into one of their techniques- during or after formation-creating an interlaced coating on its frame, and throughout key structure points. By applying this coat, most techniques that would typically melt, shatter, or pierce the user's ice, are found worthless. ( Rather than costing [80] chakra to perform, each modified technique costs an additional [20] chakra. )
Renga's Ice Creation Technique Rank: A :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: None Description: This technique turns the moisture particles in the air into an ice disk. They can be hurled with tremendous force at a target and are hard to dodge because of their transparency. The disks can be used defensively, creating highly durable shields or disks to stand on for hovering in the air. They can also be strung together to spy on areas. By forming the ice into a large lens, the user can hover in the sky to focus the rays of the sun into a powerful beam capable of melting and exploding the pinpointed area, but when used in this manner, the beam can be reflected onto the user or anyone else using a reflective surface.
Hyōton: Souryou Boufuusetsu [ Ice Release: Twin Dragon Blizzard ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: External Description: After performing the needed handsigns, the user will thrust their arms outward, gathering ice and water to their palms. In the same motion, the user will send out a twisting torrent of liquid black ice, whose rotation results in the front of the blizzard to take on the appearance of a dragon's head, from both hands. Rather than simply attempting to ram their target, these dragons will converge on a single point, using one another's momentum to combine and form a large black ice tornado. Aside obvious impact and wind damage, the sheer cold force is enough to freeze bodies of Suiton (not natural water), and coat enemies' skin in frost. This technique requires an existing supply of water or ice in order to form. Inflicts 1 dose of frostbite to anyone in the area, instead of 1/2, per post.
Makyō Hyōshō [ Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Hazard Primary: None Description: The abominable and tremendous ability to trap and kill anyone, passed down only within the Yuki clan. In an instant, multiple mirrors of ice are created around the enemy, which the user can then enter. Once they have entered, the mirrors reflect nothing but the user, who can then move between them faster than the eye can see while attacking at the same time. The user can also form individual mirrors at any visible point within 1 kilometer, not restricted to the dome formation. Forming single mirrors instead of the full technique requires only an E-Rank amount of chakra. Each mirror in the full technique will break under an S-ranked attack, but singly formed mirrors are susceptible to only D-ranks. Movement between mirrors is considered as fast as Shunshin no Jutsu.

Mokuton [ Wood Release ] Treasure of the Senju Clan
 ___Background: ___The Senju clan (千手一族, Senju Ichizoku) was a group of shinobi that were the strongest, feared and most respected clan above all other clans in the ninja world during the war-torn era before the founding of the hidden villages. Wood Release (木遁, Mokuton; Viz "Wood Style" ) is an advanced nature kekkei genkai formed through simultaneous use of earth and water-based chakra natures to create wood, or complete trees. This ability can also be used to create other aspects of trees, such as seeds or even flowering plants. Wood Release techniques can be produced from anywhere, including the user's body, as the user's chakra is literally converted into a source of life. Wood Release Techniques (木遁の術, Mokuton no Jutsu) are commonly affiliated with the Snake seal.
___Traits: • All Mokuton users have Doton [ Earth ] and Suiton [ Water ] as chakra elements. • All Mokuton users are able to learn Doton [ Earth ] and Suiton [ Water ] ninjutsu one [1] post faster. • All Mokuton have incredibly deep chakra pools, growing by +20 Chakra at each Body Rank, starting at D-Rank. • All Mokuton techniques have a weakness to Katon [ Fire ], & grow uncontrollably when around the Kyuubi’s Chakra. • The Senju Clan is highly susceptible to the Moulding Mushroom and its effects. • No handsigns are needed for Eiseijutsu usage if of that class.
___Special Abilities: Mokuton [ Wood Release ] Description: This training allows the Senju to combine Earth and Water Chakra to create the Wood element, and is the most fundamental part of their training. In addition to allowing them to manipulate existing plants, this training allows the Senju to turn their Chakra directly into plant material, letting them create their own materials if they’re in an area devoid of them. However, awakening this ability is extremely difficult, even for those who have good aptitude; thus, on top of the potential to use Mokuton being rare, those who have it and train to use it are exceedingly rare. Must be learned before any other Mokuton techniques, as it allows access to both them and the Formless Mokuton no Jutsu. Training Time: 20 posts.

___Techniques: Mokuton: Sashiki no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Cutting Technique ] Rank: X :: Spiritual [ Learned as E ] Description: A versatile technique where the user can produce sharp wooden spikes from their body to either fashion short-range weapons akin to a makeshift sword, or else use them as long-range projectiles, where the branches' growth can be triggered remotely, skewering the enemy as a result.
Wood Spike Ring Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: The user creates a semi-circle of wood around a captured target, and then forms spikes within the ring, pointing at the target, preventing them from making any sudden movements.
Thrice-Folded Wooden Shield Rank: X :: Spiritual [ Learned as D ] Description: The user forms a shield of wood, which consists of three round parts out of their hand. The shield is very durable and can be removed and reconditioned any time the user wants to. Sustains up to its rank in damage before breaking.
Underground Roots Technique Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: Using the Wood Release, a user can manipulate the terrain, bringing out underground roots of varying sizes to fit various offensive situations, such as using the roots for trickery, misdirection and restriction. One can also use a large scale version, bringing out massive roots over a larger area that tangle around each other with such force that any one caught in-between is violently crushed to death. ( The Tajū version is treated as A-ranked, and is named 'Mokuton: Daisōju [ Wood Release: Great Spear Tree ]' )
Ki Eda no Jutsu [ Tree Limb Technique ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user summons forth five thick tree roots from the ground. These roots can then be used to shelter, shield, or impale, depending on the user's whim. Unfortunately, they don't stretch too far, only reaching out to about 2 meters from the user.
Jukai Heki [ World of Trees Wall ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user creates countless wooden branches that grow at high speed from the ground. The wood interlaces to form a wide, net-like wall with an impressive defensive power. Blocks techniques up to B-Rank for 1 post.
Mokuton: Mokusatsu Shibari no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Smothering Binding Technique ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: By transforming their arm into a tree, the user can then create multiple branches which will rapidly grow around the target, immobilizing them.
Mokuton: Henge [ Wood Release: Transformation ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: This jutsu is just like any other Transformation Technique. The user performs the necessary hand seals, then wood emerges and covers his entire body and a puff of smoke or chakra covers up the transformation. Once the jutsu is done, the transformation is complete. It acts more like a costume than a transformation, as the user is able to leave it behind if necessary.
Mokuton: Daijurin no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Great Forest Technique ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: A technique that changes one's own arm into big trees. Using chakra, the tissues are transformed into trees at the cellular level. Then, by activating the trees, stimulating them to grow rapidly, they lengthen at high speed and fork into many branches. It is possible to capture the enemy with these branches and at the same time change the ends into sharp stakes.
Mokuton: Shichūka no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Four-Pillar House Technique ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: By sending chakra into the ground, the roots of the plants are converted into raw materials. This technique allows for a building to be constructed, by forcing accelerated growth. Just like with the Four-Pillar Prison Technique, the size and shape of the building are taken from the user's imagination or memories. By placing tags around the house, the user creates a barrier, making it impossible for the enemy to detect the Chakra within it and allowing the user to "camp" in peace.
Mokuton: Jubaku Eiso [ Wood Release: Tree Bind Flourishing Burial ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: This technique lets the user summon a tree to slowly wrap and bind their opponent. This technique is relatively powerful and holds opponents gracefully, with less of a strain on the user, because the user sinks them into the ground. Afterwards, the user can enclose and crush the opponent. 1 post of preparation time needed.
Wood Release: Foo Dog Heads Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: A technique used to absorb a Bijuu's chakra. The user produces the "sit" (座, suwaru) kanji on their palm and creates a series of wooden pillars, which are engraved with what resemble foo dog faces and have lit wicks on top of them. When the user slams their palm on the ground, the wooden statues rush towards the target and absorb its chakra. Deactivates demonic chakra & tailed beast chakra not being emitted from the original owner and metabolizes it harmlessly back into the environment.
Wood Release: Stocks Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user produces wooden stocks to suppress the target’s chakra while they are restrained. There are also two candle-like appendages on each end of the device. Prevents B-Ranked and under chakra usage while in the stocks.
Moku Bunshin no Jutsu [ Wood Clone Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: A clone that is created by using chakra to alter the user's own cells into vegetation. The clones can be as simple in function as a wooden dummy for use in the Body Replacement Technique or completely mobile and able to perform techniques. They have the ability to travel far from the user and are able to communicate with the original. Moreover, since the wood clone has the ability to merge with plants and trees, it is also great for reconnaissance missions. By directly touching the wood clone with their hand, the user can absorb the information it has gathered and change the shape of the clone. Unlike the Shadow Clone Technique, the wood clone doesn't disappear when hit and even appears to take the damage. If a wood clone is changed into a seed and ingested into the body or left on a target, it can be used as a transmission device of sorts. The user can use these to track their target as the seeds respond to their chakra only. Each additional clone beyond the first costs [15] chakra to make. Each clone is able to be given their own chakra pool through donation during creation.
Mokuton: Jukai Kōtan [ Wood Release: Nativity of a Sea of Trees ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: After doing the needed hand seals, the user causes a small woodland to grow from the ground. The size of the forest is dependent on how much Chakra is used. E-rank usage may only create a few small saplings, but an A-rank usage will create dozens of adult trees.
Mokuton: Renchūka no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Serial Pillar Houses Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: A larger-scaled version of the Wood Release: Four-Pillar House Technique where instead of creating a single house, the user creates multiple houses at once. Because of the sheer volume of structures created with this technique, it’s rather exhausting to perform repeatedly. In essence, this is the Tajū version of Mokuton: Shichūka no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Four-Pillar House Technique ].
Mokusatsu Shibari no Jutsu [ Smothering Binding Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: This technique is similar to the Wood Release: Great Forest Technique, as it also transforms the user's arm into several wood tendrils which can be used to capture and restrain an enemy. This technique can be made large enough to capture a giant enemies or a mass of normal sized ones.
Shichuurou no Jutsu [ Four Pillar Prison Technique ] Rank: X :: Spiritual [ Learned as A ] Description: The user converts chakra into timber under the ground and makes it grow rapidly, while forming it into a wooden prison. The size of the prison is based on the user's imagination. From an insect cage to a great prison, one can make it into whatever they want by regulating the amount of chakra used. The timber itself is treated with a chakra coating, making its destruction extremely difficult. During war, it has the great ability to detain prisoners, but it can also be used as a disciplinary measure for quarrelling subordinates. Parts of the prison can extend into the interior to serve as additional shackles to bind prisoners, and sealing tags can be placed onto the prison, which, when removed, caused the prison to disappear similar to recalling a summon, for later use. Large enough to hold one person at D-Rank, doubling for every rank thereafter. Always has D-Rank durability, but can be reinforced to any rank by paying additional Chakra at any point on or after creation.
Mokuton: Mokujōheki [ Wood Release: Wood Locking Wall ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: An extremely versatile move, this technique uses chakra to activate the roots in the ground and, using the user of the technique as a reference point, makes wooden pillars appear from left and right. The wooden pillars join together in a dome-shape with the user at the center. Blocks all projectile-based, non-Katon Ninjutsu A-ranked and below, but only blocks up to B-Rank non-projectile techniques.
Mokuton: Mokuryū no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: After performing the required hand seals, the user creates a gigantic wooden dragon from any surface, which is then directed to attack an intended target. Its shape closely resembles a Chinese dragon, though with a short trunk-like nose, having an elongated and serpentine body, which can be used to constrict larger opponents. It also has the ability to absorb a tailed beast's chakra once it is bound. If being used from the bark of the God Tree, this technique's name becomes 'Inukai Takeru no Mikoto'. Requires Sage Mode to be activated, but does not draw from the Senjutsu Chakra pool unless directed.
Tajū Mokuton Bunshin no Jutsu [ Multiple Wood Release Clone Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: This technique is essentially a mass version of the Wood Clone Technique, wherein the user forms the clone-oriented hand seal and then, using the pre-existing vegetation in the immediate vicinity as a medium, creates a large number of wood clones.
Hokage-Shiki Jijun Jutsu — Kakuan Nitten Suishu [ Hokage-Style Sixty-Year-Old Technique — Enclosed Hermitage Entering Society with Bliss-Bringing Hands ] Rank: A Description: This technique utilizes the power of the Wood Release to forcibly suppress a tailed beast's chakra. To invoke this technique, it is necessary for the user or a jinchūriki to be in the possession of the Crystal Gem (結晶石, kesshōseki) that responds to the user's chakra. The user produces the "sit" (座, suwaru) kanji on their palm, and by touching the tailed beast or its host with their hand, the user suppresses their chakra inside an area lined with ten pillars.
Mokuton Hijutsu: Jukai Kōtan [ Wood Release Secret Technique: Nativity of a World of Trees ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: A technique developed by the founder of the Senju, the user forces trees to grow on any surface, easily creating a dense forest anywhere they choose. A small plant can grow into a forest in an instant. By generating chakra, the user maneuvers it as they see fit for attack and defense; and furthermore, this omnipotent technique even allows them to capture the enemy at the same time. With their tremendous life force, the trees can pierce through earthen walls, and extend their branches at their prey in an instant.
Mokuton: Mokujin no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Wood Human Technique ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: After forming the required hand seals, the user creates a large statue-like creature out of wood, which is strong enough to catch an uncompressed Tailed Beast Ball fired by the Nine-Tails.
Mokuton: Hotei no Jutsu [ Wood Style: Laughing Buddha Jutsu ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: After performing the required hand seals, the user creates a number of gigantic wooden hands that erupt upward from beneath the ground, which encircle and then attempt to restrain a chosen enemy. The size of each of these hands is around the size of a tailed beast. Must be in Sage Mode to use.
Senpō: Mokuton: Shin Sūsenju [ Sage Art: Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands ] Rank: S+ :: Spiritual Description: After entering Sage Mode, the user creates a wooden statue of titanic proportions, easily able to dwarf a tailed beast like the Kyuubi. Thousands of hands emanate from the statue's back in countless concentric rows, while its two main hands are clasped as if in prayer. The statue can serve a variety of purposes in battle from fighting on the user's behalf, to defending and even using other techniques with it. Must be in Sage Mode to use.
Mokuton: Kajukai Kōrin [ Wood Release: Advent of a World of Flowering Trees ] Rank: S+ :: Spiritual Description: Taking advantage of the innate properties of Wood Release which allows the user to force trees to grow on any surface in an instant, the user creates a dense forest of flowering trees. The pollen produced by these flowers is then released into the atmosphere and when inhaled, renders any afflicted target unconscious. With enough willpower, it is possible to regain consciousness. However, in order to counter the technique fully, either the trees themselves must be destroyed completely or the target must continue to remain elevated above the dispersed pollen. Requires Mokuton Hijutsu: Jukai Kōtan [ Wood Release Secret Technique: Nativity of a World of Trees ] be known prior to learning. Must be in Sage Mode to use.
Mokuton: Hōbi no Jutsu [ Wood Style: Wood Expulsion Jutsu ] Rank: S+ :: Spiritual Description: Using Wood Release, the user creates a dome-like defensive structure that completely surrounds which takes the form of a dragon's face. This defense is split down the middle and can be opened on the user's command. It is strong enough to withstand the destructive force of a Tailed Beast Ball. Blocks all projectile-based, non-Katon Ninjutsu S+Ranked and below for 1 post.
Chōjō Kebutsu [ Top Transformed Buddha ] Rank: S+ :: Spiritual Description: After creating a gigantic wooden statue that possesses thousands of hands, the user employs all of these hands simultaneously to deliver thousands of powerful blows to a target. Due to the sheer volume of the punches involved, defending against the entirety of them is nearly impossible. Requires this technique to be active: Senpō: Mokuton: Shin Sūsenju [ Sage Art: Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands ].

Jiton [ Magnet Release ] The dunes of a metal desert
 ___Background: ___A special technique used by the Satetsu Clan, originally based out of Sunagakure. While already possessing the power of Jiton [ Magnet Release ] and some skill with it in combat, the Satetsu studied the sand manipulation abilities of the Ichibi and eventually cultivated an ability that would let them mimic the beast’s abilities through use of metal filings, causing their combat prowess to skyrocket. Their abilities make the Satetsu perfect at both attack and defense, allowing them to shift seamlessly between the two.
___Traits: • Satetsu users have Doton [ Earth ] and Raiton [ Lightning ] as chakra elements. • Satetsu users are able to learn Doton [ Earth ] and Raiton [ Lightning ] ninjutsu one [1] post faster. They learn Taijutsu and Bukijutsu techniques one [1] post slower. • When trying to manipulate or break down chakra steel, the user must overpower the chakra in the weapon as well as pay the normal cost of doing so. • Metallic sands can be melted by techniques at least 2 ranks higher than them. Melted (either partially or fully) metals cannot be manipulated via Jiton.
___Special Abilities: Jiton [ Magnet Release ] Description: This training allows the Satetsu to combine Earth and Lightning Chakra to create the Magnet element. The Magnet element allows the user to manipulate metallic and magnetic objects and to magnetize things that normally would not be. Must be learned before using any other Jiton techniques, as it allows access to both them and the Formless Jiton no Jutsu. Training Time: 6 posts.
Satetsu Soushi [ Iron Sand Creation ] Description: The act of converting earth and/or metals into iron sand via a single handsign and chakra compression. Iron sand created this way can then be used on the spot, or stored for a later time. The amount of material converted is as follows: tab Rank E: A handful of nails worth. Instantaneous. tab Rank D: Small weapons (knives, kunai, etc). Instantaneous. tab Rank C: Medium weapons (swords, axes, hammers, etc). Instantaneous. tab Rank B: Large weapons (greatswords, lances, etc.). One post delay. tab Rank A: Steel beams, metal furniture. One post delay. tab Rank S: A car, small building (just the metal from it). Two post delay. tab Rank S+: Two or three cars, medium building (just the metal from it). Three post delay. Training Time: 10 posts.
Sakin [ Gold Dust ] Description: After mastering the use of iron sand, the user moves on to manipulating less magnetically-inclined metals, such as: copper, zinc, brass, bronze, silver, and gold. These materials, being heavier, require an additional one [1] post of conversion time, but are a rank stronger defensively and are treated as two ranks higher when disrupting sand-based techniques. Further materials can be added to this list through use of Personal Attributes. Training Time: 10 posts.
___Techniques: Toroi's Magnetic Shuriken [ Unnamed ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: Using a single handsign, the user will follow up with any sort of physical attack, often using projectiles like shuriken. If it connects within 2 of the user's posts, the target will become forcefully magnetized in their entirety, including any worn objects, for 2 of their posts.
Hagane Dama [ Iron Bullet ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: The user aims with a single finger, drawing iron sand around the tip. The iron will then compact into a small ball, which can then be fired off like a projectile at a relatively high speed.
Teikou no Michi [ Electrical Resistance Method ] Rank: X :: Spiritual [ Learned as C ] Description: The user will place a hand forward, pulsing out chakra while simultaneously turning it into magnetic energy. If the amount of magnetic energy formed is enough, this method can be used to repel incoming attacks that are susceptible to magnetism. This includes not only metal and iron weapons, but lightning as well.
Hagane Bunshin no Jutsu [ Iron Clone Technique ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: After performing the needed handsigns, the user will create a clone of iron sand. Because of its composition, the clone is extremely durable; however, it is also slower than its creator. Unlike other clones, once this one is created, the user can further mold it with another technique. Clone has supremely increased Fortitude, but supremely decreased Speed. Only one Iron Clone can be active at once.
Hagane Bunshin Soujuu [ Iron Clone Manipulation ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: Holding a single handsign, the user will mold an active Iron Clone, changing its overall appearance: limbs into weapons; a male figure into an animal; a female figure into plant life; most anything is possible. The only condition is that the clone retains its humanoid size. Must know [ Hagane Bunshin no Jutsu ] before learning this technique.
Satetsu Kesshuu [ Iron Sand Gathering Assault ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: This technique gathers a great volume of iron sand and compresses it into a high-density shape. This greatly increases the hardness, creating a gigantic steel-like weapon in an instant. The weight and size of these shapes are so great, they can easily shatter bedrock and break through most defenses with one hit. Because the weapon is made out of iron sand, the shape can be whatever the user wants, and can even be changed during the fight. This allows the user to create the best weapon for the fight, by taking into account the opponent's abilities and the surrounding environment.
Satetsu Shigure [ Iron Sand Drizzle ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user will levitate iron sand above their enemy, condensing it into small compact clumps, and then force it all to rain down on their target. Because the clumps are so compact, and the rate at which they fall is rather fast, enemies are far better off completely evading the attack, rather than attempting to defend against it. Although described as a descending technique, one can manipulate the sand to fire from most any angle.
Satetsu Kyuu [ Iron Sand Coffin ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user will force iron sand to crawl up on their target. The sand will then wrap up and around, until it fully encases the target. As the sand encloses, it will apply a crushing amount of pressure, more than capable of grinding bones to powder. Although it is almost an assured hit after it makes contact, it is a rather slow technique, and therefore fairly easy to dodge. Acts as one [1] rank slower. Once a person has been captured, it takes two [2] full posts to completely encase them.
Satetsu Soushiki [ Iron Sand Funeral ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: After the target is wrapped within Satetsu Kyuu [ Iron Sand Coffin ], the user is capable of performing this finishing technique. Rather than being performed by handsigns, the user will aim their hand at the target, and clench it into a fist. This signal forces the iron sand to tighten its grip, causing it to magnify to a pulverizing pressure that leaves its victim a bloody and disorganized mess of flesh and liquid. Must know Satetsu Kyuu [ Iron Sand Coffin ] before learning this technique.
Satetsu Omori no Jutsu [ Iron Sand Clog Technique ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: A technique designed to utterly disable puppets during battle. Boosting their control over iron sand, the user will force up a small wave in order to slap and bind a ninja puppet. If successful, the user will then manipulate the sand so that it clogs and grinds against the puppet's hinges and joints, rendering it either crippled or completely useless. Because iron sand is left behind to clog the puppet's joins, the total sand the user has is reduced by a B-rank amount.
Satetsu Rou [ Iron Sand Prison ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The user will manipulate a massive amount of iron sand, forcing it to form a huge, airtight dome around an allotted area. The formation, density, and scope of the sand depend on the amount of chakra poured into it. One can fine-tune the sand's properties to the target's size and characteristics. No matter if the target is on the ground or flying in the air, it is almost impossible to escape from this technique.
Satetsu Shouheki [ Iron Sand Barrier ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The user pulls iron sand around them in a dome fashion, making use of a single handsign to make it harden in place. Unfortunately, this means the user cannot move around with it. The barrier is able to withstand up to an S-Ranked amount of damage in total.
Satetsu Kaihou [ Iron Sand World Order ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: This jutsu uses iron sand to create a gigantic sphere of branching spikes. The user creates two masses of iron sand with matching polarities and then merges them together. This causes the magnetic forces to instantly increase and the repellent force created by the two similar magnetic fields scatters the iron sand across a vast area. The iron sand spreads in spikes that branch off irregularly, making it almost impossible to get a clear overview of what is happening. Even if the opponent manages to avoid getting hit, the iron sand spikes will have filled the entire surroundings, cutting off any escape routes.
Satetsu Taisou [ Iron Sand Imperial Funeral ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: The user will lay their hands down on the ground, causing a region 20 meters long in front of them to become laced with iron sand. The surfaces affected will attain a dark gray tint. While remaining in this position, the user will send surges of chakra through the sand, causing it to rise and fall as if tidal waves. Because of its iron composition, most anything caught within these waves is crushed or smothered to death. Must have an S-Rank amount of iron sand to cover this area.

Shakuton [ Scorch Release ] Withering Life's Fate
 ___Background: ___An extremely well-hidden clan. Even within the confines of the shinobi world, very few members have been publicly seen using Scorch Release techniques. Though primarily suspected to have originated in the Land of Wind, other suspected locations of this devious clan include Iwagakure, but credible information is very scarce. It is known that those from within the clan highly respect one another, and their children, even after death, which may contribute to their continued stealth and secrecy.
___Traits: • Shakuton users have Katon [ Fire ] and Fuuton [ Wind ] as chakra elements. • Shakuton users cannot be dehydrated by their own techniques, but can still be burnt. • Shakuton users gain a rank advantage against opposing liquid techniques when Korabo-ing with Doton. • Heat Resistant: Shakuton users are accustomed to heat, and thus are not adversely affected by such climates or Katon techniques. Refers to actual heat; not damage dealt by fire or fire techniques.
___Special Abilities: Shakuton [ Scorch Release ] Description: This training allows the user to combine Fire and Wind Chakra to create the Scorch element. The Scorch element allows the user to manipulate heat and humidity, making things as hot and dry as they like. Must be learned before using any other Shakuton techniques, as it allows access to both them and the Formless Shakuton no Jutsu. Training Time: 5 posts.
___Techniques: Mizu Shirizoke [ Water Repelling ] Rank: X :: Spiritual [ Learned as E ] Description: This technique produces a mist of pure Shakuton chakra that dehydrates Suiton techniques that come into contact with it. The amount of chakra used in this technique matches that in the affected technique.
Youen [ Heat Haze ] Rank: X :: Spiritual [ Learned as E ] Description: This technique puts the user into a specific chakra mode, enabling them to affect their own Katon. While in said mode, all Katon enacted becomes half Shakuton, half Katon, and their chakra becomes visible to the naked eye. For each E-rank of chakra invested, this technique gains a post of duration. Allows Katon to apply additional dehydration dosages of the corresponding rank.
Bakku Dorafuto [ Backdraft ] Rank: X :: Spiritual [ Learned as E ] Description: This technique puts the user into a specific chakra mode, enabling them to affect their own Fuuton. While in said mode, all Fuuton enacted becomes half Shakuton, half Fuuton, and their chakra becomes visible to the naked eye. For each E-rank of chakra invested, this technique gains a post of duration. Allows Fuuton to apply dehydration dosages of the corresponding rank. Effects are considered 'External'.
Atatameru [ To Heat ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: This technique imbues a nearby metallic object with the ability to dehydrate. It's not strong enough to cause burns, but the object in question will become unable to be touched by anyone aside from Shakuton users without severe discomfort for one [1] post. Range: 3 meters. Requires line of sight.
Kansou no Bunshin [ Scorch Release: Dehydrated Clone ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: A shadow clone technique on a timer. These clones are created with the sole purpose of performing kamikaze-style attacks. They will charge their target in order to catch it in a predetermined dehydrating wind-blast. The power of the "explosion" is roughly that of a standard explosive note, but the winds that follow are capable of causing [1] dose of dehydration to all within 1 meter of the blast site. The clone will self-detonate after two [2] posts.
Moeru [ To Burn ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: A simple technique that coats one's hands with chakra. If the user successfully makes contact with a living target, the hit position will be dehydrated, suffering two [2] doses of dehydration. Lasts [3] posts.
Kabari [ Fire Needle ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: A technique that produces 6 opaque red senbon in front of the user, which are capable of deflecting light projectiles like shuriken, and senbon. The user may also launch the needles in a simple attack pattern, causing [1] dose of dehydration to contacted areas.
Hijuugan no Jutsu [ Ten Fiery Eyes Technique ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user performs a single handsign and generates ten small fireballs (shuriken sized) which hover around a designated area. These fireballs are capable of causing significant burns and [2] doses of dehydration to their target, though they are somewhat slow in comparison to most ninja techniques.
Kyoujouki no Hitoya [ Extreme Steam Prison ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user performs the required handsigns and rises various tall, thin pillars of Shakuton chakra from the ground which converge to form a prison or cage like construct. Anything that comes into contact with the pillars suffers [3] doses of dehydration.
Sabakuhi [ Desert Sun ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: This technique generates a palm sized sphere of Shakuton chakra which can be launched into the sky in order to create a false sun, of the same color as its user's chakra color. The false sun will cast out sunbeams which slowly dry up everything in the area, inflicting [1] dose of dehydration each post to everything within 10 meters, and every 2 posts to everything between 10 and 20 meters. If used during the night, the fake sun may disturb the circadian rhythm in living creatures. Retreating out of the light cast by this technique prevents the accumulation of dehydration. Typical usage is for External attacks. Lasts [10] posts.
Hinotama no Heifuku [ Prostration of the Falling Star ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: Several (4-6) large spheres of Shakuton chakra fall from the atmosphere in a random manner, each causing an explosion about 3 meters across. Additionally, the winds that follow the explosions inflict [2] doses of dehydration.
Shakuton: Kajōsatsu [ Scorch Release: Extreme Steam Killing ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The user performs the appropriate handsigns and generates four powerful fireballs which hover around an allotted area. These fireballs are capable of utterly dehydrating those that come into contact with them, inflicting [7] doses thereof. This technique trades power for elemental immunity, thusly becoming weak to Suiton techniques of the same rank.
Nichinaishuuki [ Diurnal Cycle ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: After performing the needed handsigns, three false suns (roughly 3 meters in diameter) are generated and rotate around the user. These suns typically keep away attackers while their rotation forces a moderately dehydrating radial wind that inflicts [2] doses of dehydration to those within 2 meters. Lasts [8] posts.
Shakuton: Shōkyaku Eikōdan no Jutsu [ Scorch Release: Incinerating Flare Technique ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: The user combines several of their flaming orbs to create a single massive one, which then violently explodes with enough force and power to incinerate a large area around it. When this happens, steam can be seen emitting from the area. Requires 'Kajousatsu [ Extreme Steam Killing ]' to be activated first. Retains the required jutsu's Suiton weakness.
Taiyou no Senkou [ Flash of the Sun God ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: The user holds a single handsign, pulsing chakra all throughout their body. In a moment, everything within a 20 meter radius will be overcome by a powerful surge of heat, suffering [5] doses of dehydration.

Ranton [ Storm Release ] The true might of the storm
 ___Background: ___Famous within Kumogakure, the Storm Release bloodline enjoys a long yet well-hidden history. Members of the family usually have hot tempers, act before thinking, have a stylized 'Lightning' (雷) tattoo, sport a darkened skin from hard training in the sun, but retain a marvelously blond head of hair. They are also fiercely loyal to their family and village, having never had a member go rogue. A unique naming scheme permeates through the family, having some with names consisting of the English alphabet or being a pun upon a word.
___Traits: • Ranton users have Raiton [ Lightning ] and Suiton [ Water ] as chakra elements. • Ranton users are able to learn Raiton [ Lightning ] and Suiton [Water] ninjutsu one [1] post faster. • Black Lightning: Raiton techniques are black in color and will overwhelm non-Fuuton techniques of the same rank.
___Special Abilities: Ranton [ Storm Release ] Description: This training allows the user to combine Lightning and Water Chakra to create the Storm element. The Storm element allows the user to manipulate storm clouds, shifting and molding them as desired. Must be learned before using any other Ranton techniques, as it allows access to both them and the Formless Ranton no Jutsu. Training Time: 5 posts.
___Techniques: Reizaa Saakasu [ Laser Circus ] Rank: X :: Spiritual [ Learned as E ] Description: Manipulating their ability to mold Raiton and Suiton, the user will perform the needed handsign and release threads of "liquid lightning" from their free hand. Because of their composition and formation, these beams deal both impact and electric damage. The user is also able to bend these beams toward their target in order to deliver pinpoint strikes. Each beam costs [10] chakra to bend once launched.
Hikari no Haikiryou [ Displacement of Light ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: An add-on specifically for clones. The clone(s) will be encompassed by wobbling light patterns, which will cause it to appear to all but the user as either much larger or much smaller than it really is.
Ikatsu [ Threatening ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: A basic Ranton ability in which the user will slap an object and have a thunder sound emit from that spot. The noise is loud enough to overlap most other sounds for a brief moment. If used offensively, a slap directly to the opponent can cause temporary deafness.
Saegiritte [ Interrupting ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: Using their hands as if they were using a slingshot, the user will pull back one hand and let loose. Three to five small white clouds will shoot towards the target in a straight line. Upon impact, the projectiles will stick and roll about the target as if an adhesive fluid. After setting for a short amount of time (1 post), the clouds will expand roughly two-fold, rendering the target a bit more susceptible to electricity, in addition to having some movement complications. Each cloud sticks for three [3] posts.
Kumogatta [ Cloud Formations ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: A basic Ranton ability in which the user will create a human-sized gray cloud, in any shape they desire, and push it off to drift for a little while (2 posts). Anyone or thing that comes into contact with this cloud will feel a moderate shock so long as they are within it.
Hikari no Kekkai [ Light's Barrier ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: After the needed handsigns are performed, a plate of fuzzy light appears upon the user's chest. This light will strike down light to medium projectiles, and is capable of protecting against explosives by quickly shelling over the entire body. Lasts three [3] posts.
Amagumo [ Rain Clouds ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: This technique condenses moisture in the air to form an overcast sky. It should be noted that this technique does not cover much area, and after being performed it still takes roughly four [4] posts before the clouds form and break open. Only takes two [2] posts, if clouds are already present.
Kumoritte [ Becoming Cloudy ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: Stretching both hands outward, the user releases a continual mass of nearly pitch black clouds which almost utterly demolish visibility. This string of black clouds will continue for as long as the user's hands are outstretched, expanding at roughly 100 yards per post. Badly affected by the wind.
Kumo no Fukushuu [ Arachnid's Revenge ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: Similar to Kumoritte [ Becoming Cloudy ], the user will release a string of black clouds from their hands at roughly 100 yards per post. However, unlike Kumoritte which is merely used to disable visibility, these black clouds hold a creeping secret. Within the darkness lurks hundreds of tiny "thunder legs;" chakra created creatures which give off a small amount of light and emit an electric charge from each of their eight legs. In small amounts, the feeling of their legs on one's body is almost therapeutic, but in leagues these critters are capable of delivering an intense shock. Badly affected by the wind.
Makaze [ Devil's Storm ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: Aiming their hand at their target, the user releases a capturing projectile in the fashion of a black cloud lump which expands and engulfs on impact. Once the target is encased by this cloud, they will immediately be electrocuted, rendering them either unconscious for an indefinite amount of time, or paralyzed for a moderate period (3 posts).
Raiton: Kurobansa [ Lightning Release: Black Panther ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The user performs a single handsign and tucks it close to their body, from here a substantial amount of black lightning will surge about their torso. By aiming the still held handsign, the user releases a mass of black lightning in the shape of a panther-like creature to electrocute their target. Because of its size and overall power, the panther is capable of causing severe damage if full contact is made.
Raiun • Honba [ Storm Cloud • Home ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The user releases black clouds from one hand while performing handsigns with the other. The spray of clouds will coil around and encompass on the user, forming a mass of electrically charged darkness. If anyone else ventures within the mass of clouds, they will almost instantaneously be assaulted by various electric surges, which will continue to barrage the body until said person leaves. Because of their nearly nonexistent weight, the user is free to move around at a lessened pace with this cover of electric pillows so long as they hold the single handsign. Lasts for [6] posts or until released.
Raiun • Douki [ Storm Cloud • Pulsation ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: Extending the electric composition of [ Raiun • Honba, ] the user will use their free hand to deliver a solid palm thrust from within the clouds to send out a bulb of pure electricity at a rather high velocity. Unfortunately, because the clouds are so difficult to see through, the user typically has to have developed some method to get passed this, lest they literally be shooting in the dark. Obtained when [ Raiun • Honba ] is learned.
Raiun • Dendou Ranpi [ Storm Cloud • Electric Dissipation ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: Rather than simply letting [ Raiun • Honba ] end, the user will supply additional chakra to the clouds before casting them off. Now, rather than simply fading away, the black clouds will cause an electric burst. Obtained when [ Raiun • Honba ] is learned.
Hongumori [ Low-Cloud Overcast ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: With a simple snap of the fingers, the user causes overhead clouds in the area to become physically heavy, forcing them to fall rather quickly to the ground. Everyone, including the user, feels the weight of these fallen fluffs, causing movement to become a struggle. ( Moving through piles of snow is a good example. ) Then, starting with the most conductive objects in the affected area, severe surges of lightning will indiscriminately occur within the white. Lasts [5] posts. Can only be performed once per fight.
Hijutsu: Ryuuki Boufuuryuu [ Secret Technique: Rising Dragon Storm ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: The user takes aim with both hands, builds up chakra, and then releases a twisting torrent of black clouds at the target at an impressive speed. While twisting, the black clouds will separate and converge multiple times, as if dragons clashing during a fight. This odd display can be rather confusing for first time opponents... or, victims, rather. When the attack finally makes impact, the clouds will cluster, swirl, and electrocute a rather well sized area. Then, just as the technique seems to be coming to an end, the user will perform one last handsign, and the clouds will coil and spin into a miniature storm tornado. Although it only gives a few rotations, the second half of this technique is just as, if not more lethal than the first.
Weather Manipulation Rank: S+ :: Spiritual Description: The user enters a state where their body is constantly producing Ranton Chakra at all times. This has the unfortunate side-effect of rendering the user incapable of consciously manipulating it, as the sheer volume overwhelms them. On the other hand, it makes the weather respond to their emotional state regardless of their will. Only those of at least S-Rank Body can survive learning this technique due to the strain it places on their body. The user can only switch to or from one of these states once every five [5] posts. Beginning one of these states costs an S-rank amount and lasts for five [5] posts. The following effects have been shown:
Rain: Once manifested, it could rain softly or fiercely, and could even be directed towards a single person. The rain can be concentrated to form walls of water to defend or attack, and will sap energy from those within it. Saps a C-Rank amount of Chakra or Stamina (target’s choice) from anyone in the rain. The energy drained is not returned to the user. Requires the user to be sad. Snow: A simple snowfall can be turned into a powerful blizzard capable of rapidly freezing bodies of water. Requires a great bit of humidity to be present, otherwise the snow will melt to rain, and requires the user to be giddy and/or happy. Lightning: The user can produce large bolts of purple lighting. The lightning can be directed from anywhere, to anywhere the enemy is, and in rapid succession. Damage caused is three ranks below the user’s Body Rank. Requires the user to be angry. Wind: The user is able to fully manipulate the direction and intensity of wind by whistling, summoning anything from a concentrated tornado to several independent whirlwinds. Each of these attacks has the ability to slash and wound the intended target. Requires the user to be whistling loudly. Sunlight: The user makes the sun shine brightly. Although it has little use offensively or defensively, it can make flowers bloom more quickly thanks to the additional sunlight. Futton [ Boil Release ] Corrosive Beauty
 ___Background: ___Boil Release (沸遁, Futton; Viz "Vapor Style" ) is an advanced nature kekkei genkai and is made up of techniques that combine fire and water-based chakra to create a powerful corrosive vapor capable of melting anything. The user is also able to control the range and level of the vapor's acidity. These techniques are strong enough to melt Susanoo's ribs; an impressive feat, as Susanoo is even more of an absolute defense than Shukaku's Shield of Sand. The bloodline itself is nearly as rare as it gets in the shinobi world, with potentially only three known users.
___Traits: • All Futton users must have Katon [ Fire Release ] & Suiton [ Water Release ] for their elements. • The user cannot be hurt by their own Futton jutsu. • The user is able to switch their Futton jutsu to either the acidic, basic, or neutral effects during creation.
___Special Abilities: Futton [ Boil Release ] Description: This training allows the user to combine Fire and Water Chakra to create the Boil element. The Boil element allows the user to manipulate existing fluids and their pH levels. Must be learned before using any other Futton techniques, as it allows access to both them and the Formless Futton no Jutsu. Training Time: 5 posts.
___Techniques: Futton: Shabondama no Jutsu [ Boil Release: Soap Bubble Technique ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: The user forms an “O” shape with his or her mouth and exhales a bubble. This bubble floats and can be directed to locations by the user. Upon contact, the bubble bursts, releasing a substance that enhances the effectiveness of the user's other bloodline jutsu.
Futton: Ichimyaku no Jutsu [ Boil Release: Connecting Thread Technique ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: The user extends a thin stream of wire toward the enemy, on to whom it then latches. (if successful) Breathing out, an alkaline vapor rushes down the length of the wire, spiraling as it travels. Coming into contact with the target, the vapor will then corrode all metallic substances other than the wire. It is not powerful enough to do instant damage to flesh, but will be quite irritating. If the wire is severed, the jutsu will simply linger in the air, affecting all those that are within reach.
Futton: Yogoshijutsu [ Boil Release: Staining Technique ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: Producing a simple handsign, an acidic vapor fog will raise from the surrounding grounds, staining the Chakra signature of the targets within it. This stain can be felt by the target(s) as a heavy irritant which raises their cost of jutsu usage by five chakra, all while causing first degree chemical burns. Technique lasts for ten posts, & is stackable.
Futton: Hiruma no Keishou [ Boil Release: Leech Gap's Slight ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: Sneezing, a thin cloud will surround the user & follow them, acting as a physical deterrent to others. Contact with the 'armor' will cause the user to glide around the offender. Has no highly corrosive properties, & lasts for five posts or five contacts, whichever occurs first.
Futton: Kuzaraseru Bakuhatsu [ Boil Release: Corrosive Explosion ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: Holding in one's breath (with puffing cheeks!), the user will then force out a large globe of vapor which hangs in the air menacingly. Contact with anything but the air will cause it to explode outwards, drenching those within the vicinity. Its maximum corrosion causes second degree chemical burns, which are highly painful.
Futton: Kōmu no Jutsu [ Boil Release: Skilled Mist Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The user creates a cloud of mist which she releases from her mouth. This mist has extremely corrosive properties, capable of melting even the bones of Susanoo. The technique has an inherent disadvantage in that its effects are indiscriminate, limiting its usage to areas that do not contain allies. In the event that the mist escapes the containment area, the user can adjust the pH level of the mist to safer levels. Futton: Kuzaraseru Bunshin no Jutsu [ Boil Release: Corrosive Clone Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: A solid body clone made from condensed corrosive vapors from the user's own mouth, it possesses the ability to cause fourth degree chemical burns upon contact (which are painless). It affects non-flesh objects in the same way as Kōmu no Jutsu, & can perform one B-ranked Futton-laced Suiton technique from the user's knowledge.
Futton: Kuzaraseru no Waruasobi [ Boil Release: Trick of Corrosion ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: A very simple technique which involves a simple flick of one's hands and a muster of 'sweat' vapor in the fingers. A precise flick comes from the hands or even a shake can be made as if trying to get something off one's hands. The 'sweat' streaks from the hand of the user toward the target as if it came from the barrel of a gun. Anything hit by these droplets (non-flesh) will immediately corrode to nothingness in their entirety as a thick film envelops it. Flesh that is hit will take fourth degree chemical burns (painless) the first post, corroding the next adjacent area each post after the initial, until not even bone remains, or until it is treated medically.

Yōton [ Lava Release ] Lava, Rubber, Cement
 ___Background: ___Lava Release (熔遁; 溶遁, Yōton; Viz "Corrosion Style" or "Lava Style" ) is an advanced nature kekkei genkai that combines fire and earth-based chakra to create lava and related substances that can serve multi-faceted purposes. Lava Release ninjutsu has been known to do such actions as spitting out lava that can melt almost anything in its path or even produce rubber and quicklime. The great amount of steam generated after the lava strikes can serve as an effective smokescreen, allowing the user to attack again while the enemy is distracted. Lava Release jutsu can be emitted from the mouth, or created externally.
___Traits: • All Yōton users have Katon [ Fire Release ] & Doton [ Earth Release ] for their elements. • The user's lava jutsu will prefer to stay atop ground, rather than penetrate it. • All Yōton users have great resistance to heat stemming from their own techniques.
___Special Abilities: Yōton [ Lava Release ] Description: This training allows the user to combine Fire and Earth Chakra to create the Lava element. The Lava element allows the user to manipulate existing lava, magma, rubber, and cement, as well as any other earthen or metallic material that's been heated to the point of melting. Must be learned before using any other Yōton techniques, as it allows access to both them and the Formless Yōton no Jutsu. Training Time: 5 posts.
___Techniques: Yōton: Gomu no Nawa [ Lava Release: Rubber Rope ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: The user creates a rope with lava converted into a rubber-like material. It can be used to quickly withdraw an ally of the attack line, being more efficient when combined with a distraction. Good for 10 meters of relaxed rope.
Yōton: Gomu no Bougyo [ Lava Release: Rubber Defence ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: The user creates a short tube with lava converted into a rubber-like material which can be used to guard against enemy's attacks. Can defend from simple unbladed physical attacks up to C-rank, & bladed/complex attacks up to D-rank.
Yōton: Gomudama [ Lava Release: Rubber Ball ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user expels a large glob of lava from their mouth, which quickly solidifies into a hollow ball that can be used to protect an object by surrounding it with the durable rubber-like material. The properties of this substance mean that it can both absorb and dissipate the force behind a blow when struck, resulting in it either deforming or bouncing upon impact. A skilled user of this technique is capable of making it appear as if they were intending to protect an object or individual within the sphere, when in fact they merely use the ball as a distraction in order to occupy an enemy, while instead covertly withdrawing the item in question from the ball during its formation. Can defend from simple unbladed physical attacks up to B-rank, & bladed/complex attacks up to C-rank.
Yōton: Tama [ Lava Release: Lava Globs ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user releases several globs of lava of various sizes at the target. The technique can also be manipulated to block doors and narrow exits using the hardening process of lava to prevent a target from escaping. 1 post until the lava cools.
Yōton: Kaibun no Yuki [ Lava Release: Ashen Cement Snow ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: This is a Ninjutsu that blurs the target and the user's vision whilst causing a choking reaction, and cakes the ground with even more in a 20 meter radius. This can make the user/target feel as if they are getting weighted down if they don't break out of the immediate area somehow. 3 posts until cement hardens.
Yōton: Seishikidou [ Lava Release: Cement Ring Orbit ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: A stationary orbiting technique that is used to protect the user. Liquid cement flies up from the ground and floats around the user. If the opponent attacks the cement, they will become stuck within it while it hardens. Over time the cement will harden and become rock, and fall to the ground with whatever is stuck within it. 3 posts until the cement hardens.
Yōton: Daichi Atatameru [ Lava Release: Ground Warming ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user can heat the ground to the heat of ~150 degrees within a 20 meter radius. This can easily melt shoes and fuse them with the ground to make the target bound to the ground, or make objects easier to enflame. 5 posts until the ground cools.
Yōton: Yōkai no Jutsu [ Lava Release: Melting Apparition Technique ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user releases a large amount of lava from their mouth, which spreads into a broad, thin sheet as it travels through the air. Since the lava is shot upwards in an arc, so as to descend onto the targets from above, it prevents the intended individuals from jumping up to avoid the attack. A great deal of steam is created afterwards by the effects of the lava, so should the targets still be alive, a follow-up attack can be conducted while their vision remains obscured. Good for a 10 meter square sheet. 1 post until it cools.
Yōton: Sekkaigyō no Jutsu [ Lava Release: Quicklime Congealing Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The user expels a large quantity of quicklime from their mouth, which is capable of inflicting damage to an opponent. This ability can also be manipulated in order to restrict the intended target's movements, as after the initial blast the remnants of the substance can act in a similar manner to quick-drying cement. However, the technique requires the subsequent addition of water to set off the necessary reaction to make the substance harden. This can be easily achieved through the subsequent use of a water release technique, which can also serve to increase the area covered by the substance, thus further increasing the potential range of the technique. As a water release technique is needed to harden it, a secondary teammate is usually the preferred choice. 5 posts until it hardens.
Yōton: Cement Bunshin no Jutsu [ Lava Release: Cement Clone Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: A technique where a heavy, slow clone is created out of lava, in which it can fire off a drooping stream of fresh, liquid cement from its arms not to exceed the volume of the clone. 2 posts until cement hardens.
Yōton: Yō no Namami [ Lava Release: Lava's Living Flesh ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: Can use parts of the user's flesh to turn into small bits of lava, starting with the skin. Great for suprise attacks, as a single flick can cast off a superheated fingertip. Caution: Can't use forever... you lose flesh by using this! Lava cools after 1 post.
Yōton: Gomuheki [ Lava Release: Rubber Wall ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: The user creates an enormous torrent of lava from the ground directly in front of them, which then forms into a wall possessing immense durability due to its rubbery consistency that allows the material to deform when attacked, meaning it can both absorb and dissipate the force behind a blow rather than just simply obstruct it. This technique can also be used to provide reinforcement to a pre-existing barrier. Raiton techniques B-ranked & above may penetrate the defenses.
Yōton: Yō Hitoya [ Lava Release: Lava Prison ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: The user performs various hand seals as they charge Chakra deep into the ground. Finishing with pressing the palms of the hands against the ground, fresh lava erupts from the ground as it surges, creating a large dome either around just the opponent or both the opponent and the user. Within the prison is it very hot until the lava cools, causing the ceiling to drip before it solidifies. (3 posts) When the lava cools it is very difficult to break, and is almost an inescapable prison, requiring an S-ranked attack to break out from. Usable once per battle, due to the stress upon the earth.

Bakuton [ Explosion Release ] Feel Our Explosive Might
 ___Background: ___Explosion Release (爆遁, Bakuton) is an advanced chakra nature kekkei genkai. This chakra nature gives the wielder the ability to utilize combustive chakra in combat, causing explosions to be triggered when contact is made. Originally, the only known users of this nature were members of Iwagakure's Explosion Corps., but as of late the clan seems to have expanded and gone the way of the nomad; traveling a vast many lands and villages, very few settling down to a place they can call “home.” ___The clans of the Bakuton users are split into two groups: those that use the Physical Method, and those who still maintain lineage of the Clay Method. The Physical Method is a style in which the user typically must first make contact before releasing explosive charges, while the Clay Method is a unique sect of owners who have developed mouths upon their palms and chest. These mouths are used to shape clay into various shapes, and then entrust those clay structures with explosive chakra, essentially creating bombs.
___Traits: • The explosions created by the Physical Method are directed forward, meaning the user is not directly harmed by them. • The explosions created by the Clay Method form typical blasts, meaning the user can be harmed by them. • Techniques of the Clay Method are formed by the user molding clay with their additional mouths while giving said clay chakra. • On character creation, one Method is chosen: Physical or Clay. Only Jutsu from this Method and the General Method can be learned by that character. • Physical Method users are accustomed to absorbing close-range blasts. Damage received from explosions moderately reduced, physical defense slightly increased. • Clay Method users are born with molding mouths on their body, and deep chakra pools. Chakra pool maximum +40.
___Special Abilities: Bakuton [ Explosion Release ] Description: This training allows the user to manipulate their Chakra to create the Explosion element. The Explosion element allows the user to generate and defend against explosions. Must be learned before using any other Bakuton techniques, as it allows access to both them and the Formless Bakuton no Jutsu. Training Time: 5 posts.
Bakuton: Baku Sukin [ Explosive Release: Explosive Skin ] Description: This style is what defines the Physical Method and must be learned before those techniques. It allows its users to cause explosions by pressing and pushing their explosive chakra from their skin. Although born into a method, a Bakuton user must better develop their particular attribute before progressing to more established techniques. Can only be learned by those of the Physical Method. Training Time: 5 posts.
Bakuton: Kure-Hoshuu Kuchi [ Explosive Release: Clay Mending Mouths ] Description: This style is what defines the Clay Method and must be learned before those techniques. It allows its users to feed their explosive chakra into the clay figures they create with their mending mouths (which are typically located on the palms and near the center of the chest). Can only be learned by those of the Clay Method. Training Time: 5 posts.
___General Method Ninjutsu: Pafu [ Paf ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: Balling up their fist, the user will make a throwing motion, opening their hands in the process. In the perceived line of motion, a bunch of loud, blinding 'pafs' of varying colors will explode in a fireworks type of fashion. They are harmless otherwise. This requires no hand signs except as described above, meaning a balling of the hand into a fist & then releasing.
Hirameku [ Flick of Light ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: Holding the first two fingers out like they are tracing, the other hand will hold a simple hand sign. As long as the hand sign is held, a line of light can be drawn in the air. Once either the hand sign is released or an object/person touches the line, it will flare out for several feet, singeing or otherwise concussing those affected. This requires only a single hand sign in one hand, with the first two fingers available in the other hand. The user can produce a single continuous line which will hang still in the air as they trace.
Bakuhatsu no Senkei [ Fan Shaped Detonation ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: Forming several handsigns, the ground spreading away from the user's feet (in front) will crack into a fan shape several meters in length. Out from the cracks multitudes of fireworks will spring, of varying shapes & kinds. In addition to being incredibly loud & blinding, these carry harmful charges. Only requires the several handsigns & one's feet attached to something. (the thing to have the jutsu used upon) Small & medium-sized fireworks only. Examples include bottlerockets, crackers, M80s, black cats & other widely available charges.
Itoguruma [ Spinning Wheel ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: Making several handsigns, a large earthen wheel will draw up into the air in front of the user & start spinning. Dropping to the ground, it will take off towards the target as the explosives start to burn, causing it to rotate faster. The jets emitted spray off high temperature ash, effectively burning everything in its wake. A wire can be attached to the center to allow for directional control. Lasts for 2 posts before burning out. The several handsigns merely start the jutsu, allowing for the necessary time to attach any desirable wires. Can be used in combination with wire jutsus on the second post, if attached.
Rousoku no Romanu [ Roman Candles ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: Holding a single finger out away from the body, the user will form a handsign with the other hand. Out from the single finger will fire two or three charges which can arc up to 10 meters before exploding violently into hot curling colored streamers of light. The concussion wave is enough to pop eardrums if someone is unfortunately within a meter or two from the initial explosion. The colored streamers will burn for one post upon contact. This requires only a single handsign in one hand, with one finger available in the other hand.
Noroshi [ Skyrocket ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: Forming several handsigns, the ground behind the user will tremble slightly as a human sized earthen rocket fires straight up into the air. At the user's command of a single one-handed handsign, it will detonate, causing temporary deafness & blindness as hot burning ash rains down onto the battlefield. Detonating further up into the atmosphere can aid in cloud making. The user is able to do other activities between the beginning handsigns & the detonating handsign, but the rocket will explode on the third post after ignition otherwise.
Ousama no Hebi [ Pharaoh's Serpent ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: Forming several lengthy handsigns, the user will put a hand to their lips & breathe out a pancake shaped object. The user can immediately light it with a single one-handed handsign or let it sit on the ground. Either way, the tiniest of sparks, flame, or heat will set it off, causing many massive tendrils to writhe forth from the disk, covering several field's worth of space. They do not emit sparks, flares, any form of projectiles, or any sound, but may release vast amounts of chokingly poisonous smoke from the molten tendrils. It will continue to explosively grow for 3 posts after ignition, & the poison's choking effects last until the smoke is cleared. After the handsigns & object creation, the user can do what they wish with the disk, burying it, throwing it, or otherwise. Just be careful of sparks!
___Physical Method Techniques: Bakuton: Poppu [ Explosive Release: Pop ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: A skill used mostly for disarming an opponent, but can also be used for typical combat purposes. The user will first concentrate their explosive chakra into their index and middle fingers. They will then attempt to 'poke' the target's limbs, typically the wrist when attempting to disarm, releasing a small explosive charge. The explosion is not very powerful at all, but it can still singe and offset when executed properly.
Bakuton: Bakuno [ Explosive Release: Detonate ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: The user slaps or chops his/her intended target with a simple chakra enhanced hand, releasing an explosive charge on contact. Because of its simple method, low cost, and effective results, this is a more commonly seen Bakuton technique.
Bakuton: Baku Shuuha [ Explosive Release: Explosive Wave ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: Rather than making contact and releasing the explosion upon the enemy, the user will stop their hand about two feet from his/her target. At this distance, the user will quickly pulse chakra through their hand in order to create a short-range withheld blast, roughly the same width as the user's palm. The blast travels about three feet, but the focal point is at its center.
Bakuton: Hiraken [ Explosive Release: Landmine Palm ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: A weak version of the Landmine Fist technique. The user performs a hard palm thrust, attempting to strike a weak point in the target's defenses. At the same moment as the impact, they will release explosive chakra in an instant, causing a moderate blast which will push the two parties from one another. This technique can also be manipulated to create distance. Can be upgraded to a two palmed version (Tsuin Hariken), with twice the chakra cost, for 2 extra posts of learning.
Bakuton: Tsuchi Iten [ Explosive Release: Earth Rising Blast ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: A technique whose name is a bit more frightening than its effects. The user places his/her hands to the ground while releasing explosive chakra. After a short period of time, they will rip their arms up in a swift yank, causing an explosion which tears the terrain upward in chunks. Typically used to create mild barriers or to simply destroy the flooring.
Bakuton: Rajiusu Bakuha [ Explosive Release: Radius Blast ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user places their hands flat against the ground, and concentrates the explosive chakra from their hands into the area around them in order to create a perimeter. After a moderate amount of preparation (1 post), the user will release one last push of chakra, causing a radius of ten meters to be engulfed in a powerful blast. Although the perimeter is created to protect the user, because the explosion occurs so close, they will still suffer some damage.
Bakuton: Baku Haji [ Explosive Release: Explosive Grip ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user concentrates explosive chakra into one of their hands before attempting to get a hold of their target. Once a firm grip is established, the user releases three sharp explosions at different points on their hand. The differentiation in the explosion locations causes distortion and internal damage beyond the effects of the blasts themselves.
Bakuton: Jirai-Taijutsu [ Explosive Release: Landmine Physical Techniques ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: After establishing direct contact with their target through a simple taijutsu, the user manipulates their explosive chakra to instantaneously generate an enormous explosion from the initial point of contact. This blast is powerful enough to completely obliterate an opponent far larger than the user. Due to the directionality of the blast, the user minimizes any potential repercussions, such as being struck by debris and even recoil appears to be completely negated. 'Jiraiken' is the canon name for Landmine Fist, 'Jirai-Kyaku' is the name for Landmine Kick, etc.
Bakuton: Soukaitei [ Explosive Release: Mine Sweeper ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: The user charges an extreme amount of explosive chakra into their hands, causing them to radiate with a thick colored aura. While active, each strike and poke from the user causes a spot of the user's chakra to develop on the contacted area. The stronger and wider the strike, the deeper the color and wider the mark. Because the marks are created even on blocked strikes, this technique is extremely difficult for slower opponents to deal with. When the duration of this technique ends, the marks on the afflicted areas will glow bright. A short time (1 post) after this, the marks will flare even brighter, until bursting into terrific explosions whose blast power is a direct reflection of the thickness of their color. Duration: 3 posts.
___Clay Method Techniques: Bakuton: Baku Tama [ Explosive Release: Explosive Bullets ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: The user molds five small pellets of their explosive clay into their hands, adjusts them to his/her fingers, and then flings them off with necessary force. When the pellets make contact with a surface, each will create a minor explosion. Weak on their own, but powerful when used creatively. Can be molded & thrown in the same post.
Shī Wan [ C1 ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: One of the most basic and versatile forms of explosive clay, created from a single palm mouth. The user creates small animated dolls, often resembling animals. Depending on the variation created, they will retain the abilities of the creatures they were modeled after. ( For example, those resembling birds can still fly, spiders can crawl and climb, etc. ) This feature, combined with their minor yet still effective explosive power, makes them excellent for all sorts of operations. Takes 1 complete post for the earthen figure to be shaped from the eaten materials, with the next post emitting the creature from the mouth that was used.
Bakuton: Tekidan Sanjaku [ Explosive Release: Grenade Belt ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user creates a three foot length whip of clay with one easily gripped end. Although it can be hidden around the battlefield to be used as a sort of landmine, the whip is more commonly tossed at the desired target. If contact is properly made, the whip will wrap around the target and explode a few moments after. Takes 1 complete post for the earthen element to be shaped from the eaten materials, with the next post emitting the whip from the mouth that was used.
Bakuton: Hedoro [ Explosive Release: Sludge ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user feeds two lumps of clay to different mouths on their body and begin to form a short string of handsigns, which end on the rat sign. The clay will then seep from the mouths they were placed in, drooling across the ground until it makes contact with its target(s). Upon making contact, the clay will jump up and attempt to engulf the target. When the user releases the rat handsign, the nearly liquid clay will explode.
Bakuton: Kibaku Jirai [ Explosive Release: Exploding Landmine ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The large creature from the Shī Tsū [ C2 ] jutsu can also produce clay mines at the expense of clay, that take the form of small spherical creatures, which can be subsequently manipulated to force opponents to fight in a limited space. This is achieved through the use of Tobi's Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique, to hide a large amount of these mines underground, without the opponents' knowledge to their exact location. When this tactic is combined with the previously mentioned missiles from the C2 creature, it can confine the enemies' movements to such an extent, that they are forced to suffer an explosion. C2 must be learned prior to this jutsu. The number of mines created per usage is 10, & must come from the C2 creature.
Bakuton: Jibaku Bunshin [ Explosive Release: Suicide Bombing Clone ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: After creating a shadow clone it will then ingest some exploding clay and explode, creating a diversion that can be used to escape. With a "suicide bombing announcement" the enemy's wariness is heightened and this opportunity is used to switch places with a shadow clone. The explosion is said to be strong enough to destroy an entire forest, by blowing over the trees. This technique requires an adept usage of verbal tricks; with this foundation of using many "arts" to trifle with the enemy, it certainly fulfills its purpose. Requires Kage Bunshin be known. Simply requires that the Kage Bunshin ingest the clay. Other materials used will copy the expansion effects until it 'explodes', at which point the clone will simply grow huge in size, retaining all other normal Kage Bunshin effects.
Bakuton Kugutsu no Bunshin [ Exploding Puppetry's Clay Minions ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The user creates Exploding Clay that is connected to their hands with a thin cord of clay. The clay then rises from the ground, shaping itself into human-like forms. The user runs chakra through the cords, manipulating the creatures to attack the opponent. The density of the clay is strong enough to repel and suck in a sword. When cut apart, the clay substances form more human/animal like forms. The user then can connect more cords of clay to the fallen clay pieces. C1 must be learned prior to this jutsu. After using C1, the user will attach cords to the earthen element--effectively using the creations like puppets--for only a D-ranked cost per post. The explosions felt are A-ranked, though.
Nendo Bunshin no Jutsu [ Clay Clone Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: Above all other clone techniques, this one functions with a powerful dual-role. It acts as a substitute and a trap for capturing the enemy. Made from clay, this clone can take attacks and capture the enemy by taking them into its own body. The clone shows its natural shape and gray color the instant it succumbs to an attack. When a weapon or limb makes contact, the clay will become more viscous, attempting to absorb and constrict the attacker. If exploding clay is added to the clone, it can be made to detonate after capturing its target. Takes 1 complete post for the earthen element to be shaped from the eaten materials, with the next post emitting the creature from the mouth that was used. It carries a quarter of the physical skill from the user for a C-ranked amount, if they opt out of using explosives. If the user uses the full A-ranked amount for using clay (for explosive properties), the physical skill is an eighth of the user's.
Shī Tsū [ C2 ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: A technique that requires the use of both of palm mouths, creating a large dragon. The dragon is capable of flight and can spit out smaller clay figures that attack the opponent like guided missiles. These independent missile-like creatures take the form of a miniscule version of the larger dragon that created them; however, despite this decrease in size, they are still larger than a normal person. Each is capable of tracking their intended target and producing a significant explosion upon contact, but as they emerge, they consume a substantial amount of clay from the original dragon, initially extracting it from the creature's tail. This ultimately limits the number that each C2 "Dragon" is capable of creating, before clay must be sacrificed from more vital areas, such as the body or wings. Takes 2 complete posts for the dragon to be shaped from the eaten materials, with the next post emitting the creature from the mouth that was used. Dragons are not the only creature available, but rather anything of the same size that the mind can produce. Missiles are limited to 10 total, before the creation is no more. Use of the Exploding Landmine jutsu detracts 1 from the total. The missiles track at B-Rank speed.
Shī Surī [ C3 ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: A doll-like bomb that, once activated, becomes an enormous statue that drops to the ground. Its explosive power is great enough to destroy a large portion of a Village if left unchecked. Takes 4 complete posts for the earthen figure to be shaped from the eaten materials, with the next post emitting the creature from the mouth that was used. Can take out an entire village district.
Shī Fō [ C4 ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: The user creates a giant doll that looks like themselves. When it ruptures, a cloud of microscopic bombs are released. Impossible to be seen by a normal person, the bombs will enter the bloodstream of anyone who inhales them. Once there, the countless micro-bombs explode at the user's command, causing the victims' bodies to disintegrate at the cellular level, literally turning them into dust. The user must eat the clay with their own mouth. Requires 4 complete posts to create the giant doll. However, if the user does not use clay, when it is inhaled by the opponent it will simply make them exceedingly heavy & sluggish. The user is not exempt from the effects if they are around to breathe in their own jutsu's dust.
Shī Ō [ C0 ] Rank: S+ :: Spiritual Description: C0 is a suicide technique used as a last resort. The user feeds the mouth on their chest a large ball of clay. This ball connects directly to the user’s Inner Gates and drains all their Chakra to become a heinously powerful explosive. The user’s explosive chakra then manifests itself in their veins, flowing through their body toward the clay. These "veins" then condense into a sphere that slowly cracks open and detonates, producing a unique explosion that covers a ten kilometer radius. Takes 5 complete posts for the sphere to be shaped from the eaten materials, with the next post emitting the explosion. Not using clay will only make a solid rock in the form of the explosion, but not give the explosion itself (user death still occurs).

Kouton [ Steel Release ] An Ironclad Defense
 ___Background: ___The Steel Release (鋼遁, Kōton; Viz "Steel Style" ) is an advanced nature kekkei genkai that can be used to make one's body virtually indestructible by turning it into black steel. The main capabilities of Kōton is allowing the user to manipulate the speed of their iron's growth as well as the location of iron deposits. This allows them to create weapons of black steel that can either protrude from any part of the body, or pulled out and used like hand held weapons. The user is also able to create armor of dense black steel underneath their skin. Immediately after the steel is pulled out, the broken skin heals. Although it seems it takes a bit longer for the limb to become usable again or unless the user regrows the iron consciously. They can even fire pieces of their steel as long-ranged projectiles. Any iron that they remove from the body immediately regenerates, as does the skin that is damaged when the iron is removed. Users can increase the density of the created steel, making them stronger than normal steel. This not only makes the created weapons very powerful, but also makes their bodies virtually indestructible; the created black steel can withstand even a chakra-infused blade, which is usually enough to cut through anything.
___Traits: • All Kōton users must have Doton [ Earth Release ] for one of their elements. • The user cannot be hurt by their own black steel jutsus. • Users get heavier the more steel that they create, & lighter the more they destroy, down to their basic fleshy weight. • Black Steel is a special material that is impervious to damage from traditional weaponry, even Chakra-reinforced ones.
___Special Abilities: Kouton [ Steel Release ] Description: This training allows the user to manipulate Earth Chakra to create the Steel element. The Steel element allows the user to manipulate and reinforce existing steel. Must be learned before using any other Kouton techniques, as it allows access to both them and the Formless Kouton no Jutsu. Training Time: 5 posts.
___Techniques: Kōton: Tsukenaosu [ Steel Release: To Repair Once More ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: Users are able to donate their steel for weapon repairs, on the spot, & without use of blacksmithery tools. This also applies to metallic puppets.
Kōton: Kikou no Mukankaku [ Steel Release: Impervious Armour ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: The user turns a body part into black steel, making that part invulnerable. While users often brag that this makes them invulnerable, in reality, the technique only transforms the skin itself; internal damage is still possible if a technique stronger than the amount paid is used against the user. This technique is usable only on one limb at a time, but can be used up to twice in one activation. This technique uses the user’s Body Rank when determining if it is disrupted by an incoming technique.
Kōton: Saikou no Buki [ Steel Release: The Most Awesome Kind Of Weapons ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: While Kikou no Mukankaku is active, this technique allows the user to grow--from their affected body parts--black steel weapons known by the user. As legendary weapons & custom weapons can't ever be fully known, they are not copy-able. These weapons retain the qualities of Kikou no Mukankaku, allowing them to simply cut through others' weapons, legendaries/customs excluded. Is usable only from the affected limb at the time, increasing the number of weapons created by 1 per the user’s Body Rank above D. Weapons become highly brittle if Kikou no Mukankaku ends.
Kōton: Teshi Sendan [ Steel Release: Ten-Finger Drilling Bullets ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: Hardened, hollow-pointed steel from the fingertips are shot at the enemy, with a spinning motion added to the bullets. A direct hit will excavate armor, flesh, and bone. Since the iron of the user can be regenerated, the rate of fire from the user's arsenal is limitless. This technique is essential to the weighted down user for their long distance attacks. Requires Kikou no Mukankaku to be active on the arms.
Kōton: Kōryūheki [ Steel Release: Steel-Style Wall ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: From several handsigns, three thin walls of steel will erect themselves in front of the user for a last ditch defense. Not being made from the body, chakra steel will be able to cut through it, whilst normal weapons will not. Does not require Kikou no Mukankaku to be active. Can be retrained twice to become the Tajū (multiple) version, applicable with an A-ranked amount of chakra.
Kōton: Senninriki [ Steel Release: Strength Of A Thousand Men ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: Eiseijutsu specialists use a slightly different, watered-down version of this jutsu to give themselves massive strength for a brief instant in their taijutsu techniques. Kōton users are able to keep more strength for a longer duration. Lasts for 10 posts & requires Kikou no Mukankaku to be active on the limb to be strengthened.
Kōton: Kaiku no Butsuon [ Steel Release: Evolution's Grace of Buddha ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: Allows the user to apply Kikou no Mukankaku (at its own cost) to willing individuals, including all jutsus that require it. The individuals must follow the jutsus' definitions, but the Kōton user will host the chakra cost. If the Kōton user falls unconscious or runs out of chakra, this jutsu will end.
Kōton: Kyouchou [ Steel Release: Co-operative Harmony ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: Lasting for 5 posts, this jutsu allows for Doton jutsu cast by the user to be infused with Black Steel.
Kōton: Hitsu [ Steel Release: Animal Counter ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: After several handsigns, it will appear as if the jutsu does nothing. In fact, if the opponent never physically touches the user after this jutsu begins, they'll never know what true pain feels like. Reacting to other chakra sources upon defensive contact, the user's Kikou no Mukankaku takes on a life of its own, spawning various animal-shaped beings to retaliate, 1 per contact. The beings are connected to the user by a thin black steel wire, to maintain control. Out of control beasts will rampage at anything for 1 post before dissipating. Requires Kikou no Mukankaku to be active, & is not subject to Kaiku no Butsuon. Reapplies itself automatically for each contact after the initial contact until the chakra cost would otherwise kill the user.

Hatake Clan Brilliant, Loyal, Electrifying
 ___Background: ___Born from the midst of the chaotic first Shinobi war that forged the Leaf Village, the Hatake clan was one of the founding members of the village. Time and time again, their stoic personality and great wisdom earned them the respect of their colleges. Loyal to a fault, they served as the moral watchdogs for the Leaf through all of its trials and tribulations. ___Their spiritual connection with ninken dogs (ninja dogs) is legendary, as is their affinity for the lightning element making them formidable opponents on the battlefield, while their personality makes them useful even in the most peaceful of eras. Recently (within the last few generations) a mortal fall-out with the Leaf Village saw the clan ostracized from the safety of the village's walls. Their self-imposed exile was bittersweet and ended when they joined the Sand Village where they have been earning the trust of their new comrades. However, it is not unlikely to find Hatake roaming the world.
___Traits: • Members must have 'Raiton' as an element • Must remain loyal to an “Ideal”, “Rules” or “Nindo” to focus Chakra correctly. • The Hatake typically have white hair, though variations of silver and light gray/mixes exist. • Hatake techniques are counted as Raiton techniques. • Raiton techniques performed are increased by 1 rank in their power, up to rank A. • The Hatake have an affinity for Raiton jutsu and take one less post to learn them. • Raiton jutsu used by the Hatake can look white at their discretion. This has no effect other than looking cool.
___Techniques: Raiton: Shiroi Yaiba [ Lightning Release: White Blade ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description:The Hatake are able to imbue their bladed weapons (Swords with Chains, Swords, Tanto, Daggers, etc) with bright electricity. This causes the blade to have a more focused edge, and higher cutting power than normal. This jutsu does not require handseals.
Raiton: Shiroi Yari [ Lightning Release: White Spear ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description:Using the Tanto or another type of sword the user is able to send their Raiton down the blade in the form of a white chakra blast. This technique explodes in impact releasing a blast of lightning that explodes with the force of an exploding tag. This jutsu removes the effects of the Raiton: Tanto Yaiba and the Raiton: Shiroi Yaiba after two uses. Either the Raiton: Tanto Yaiba or the Raiton: Shiroi must be active to use this jutsu.
Raiton: Tanto Yaiba [ Lightning Release: Tanto Blade ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description:This technique increases the flow between the user and the weapon. By converting their Raiton into visible almost white bright chakra, the user is able to extend the blade and focus more of its power into a chakra blade. The stronger the user the longer the blade created. This jutsu does not require handseals.
Raiton: Hatake [ Lightning Release: Scarecrow ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description:This technique increases the flow between the user and the weapon. By converting their Raiton into a high level bushin. The Hatake member becomes able to use a white light clone. This clone is able to perform one Raiton from its creator. Only a member of the Hatake Clan could replicate this kind of technique.
Chidori Sai [ One Thousand Birds Cut ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: This attack is a mixture of Hatake Clan’s specialties. The user is able to channel their Raiton through their weapon of choice. Through repeated slashes (maximum of 4 shots) they become able to unleash Raiton blasts that appear to be white in color. These slashes cleave metal like a hot knife through butter. These slashes are extremely fast and blinding to those who are not the Hatake or Lightning User in question, thus making this technique special. This jutsu does not require handseals.
Shiroi Chidori [ One Thousand White Birds ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: Similar to the original “Chidori” this jutsu can only be used by The Hatake Clan due to the methods for its creation. It not something that can be duplicated by outsiders and remains special since the clans founding. It requires a near complete mastery of the clans’ unique Raiton nature to give it life. Its strength is in the fact it requires no hand seals, and can be further charged up if the user so chooses, increasing its offensive strength two fold, in comparison to the original.
Chidori Tatsumaki [ One Thousand Birds Tornado ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The user combines the knowledge of the above techniques to cause their "Shiroi Chidori" to spin around an entire limb. The electric becomes a focused blast of brilliant white seeming chakra. This blast spinning as fast as the Hatake in question can go. When shot fourth this jutsu expands to the point that even a human body could fit within it. This cause an extreme level of cuts and burns from the Raiton of the Hatake. This jutsu does not require handseals.

Shounin no Gouzoku Clan: Jinton [ Speed Release ] Size Means Nothing to Jinton Users
 ___Background: ___Quick, agile, & money-hungry is the merchant's social class, but one family has stood apart from the rest. With a long lineage & trustworthy qualities, the short Shounin no Gouzoku Clan can make more money in a week than most will see in their entire lifetime. Those in the family are mostly non-blood related, but that certainly doesn't stop them from being one cohesive clan. With long hours ahead of them, and even longer hours of work behind them, their movements have created a special set of techniques under the heading of Jinton • Speed Release.
___Traits: • Merchants are gifted at complex writings, & are thusly able to learn Fuuinjutsu at Genin rank. • Ryouri-nin Status: Cooks are merchants too, & so are the Gouzoku. • Have to be short and light in order to handle the speeds involved. • Enhanced speed due to the Jinton effect means that most tai/bukijutsu will break their bodies from the forces involved. (i.e. no 'hard' or 'rigorous' styles) • Cooking for oneself causes temporary weight gain, as one can't feed themselves their own chakra. • Having speed & having the reflexes to wield it are two different things. One does not equal the other.
___Optional PA’s: Mission Expert: +50% Ryou gained from missions. Complete D- and C-Rank missions 1 post faster; B- and A-Rank missions 2 posts faster; S-Rank missions 3 posts faster; and S+Rank missions 4 posts faster. Missions cannot be reduced below one [1] without a coupon. Ryouri-nin Status: Able to create food that restores or destroys Chakra or Stamina in the person who consumes it. This consumes Chakra from the creator as though they were using a technique, capped at their Body Rank, but the full effect occurs to everyone who partakes of the dish. Food consumed takes 1 post to digest & another post for cool-down. Eating 2 posts in a row causes a food-related illness, due to the incompatibility between chakra foods. Entering an ANBU program (or equivalent) adds 80 to the amount of Chakra or Stamina restored when creating beneficial meals; entering an Oinin program (or equivalent) adds 80 to the amount destroyed when creating harmful meals.
___Special Abilities: Jinton [ Speed Release ] Description: This training allows the user to manipulate their Chakra to create the Speed element. The Speed element allows the user to manipulate the speeds of objects in the world, accelerating them as they see fit. Must be learned before using any other Jinton techniques, as it allows access to both them and the Formless Jinton no Jutsu. Mastery of this training grants the user a passive slight increase to their Speed per body rank. Training Time: 5 posts.
___Techniques: Jinton: Shuriken no Jutsu [ Speed Release: Shuriken Technique ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: The Speed Release version of throwing objects, it doubles the velocity of objects thrown by hand. Adds a slight bonus per the user’s Body Rank to the Speed of thrown weaponry for 2 posts.
Jinton: Senkakusha no Inzou [ Enlightened Person's Handsigns ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: By infusing the user’s hands with pure Jinton chakra, their movements are completely indecipherable to even those with the quickest of eye movements and abilities, even the Sharingan. Lasts for 5 posts.
Jinton: Shunshin no Jutsu [ Speed Release: Body Flicker Technique ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: The Speed Release version of Shunshin incorporates being able to turn once per Body Rank during the duration of the jutsu.
Jinton: Mueishō [Speed Release: Shadowless Flight ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: The user moves at very fast speeds, rapidly striking their opponents at various angles while avoiding any opposition. Only simple techniques can be sped up enough to lose their shadow. This technique can be added on to any simple Taijutsu or Bukijutsu. Techniques sped up suffer a moderate reduction in Strength, but deny the target any bonuses to Reflex.
Jinton: Ecological no Jutsu [ Speed Release: The Ecological Technique ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The Speed Release ninjutsu version of the Oinin's Fuuin technique physically slows down those within the 30 meter radius, even the caster, to the speed of an academy student (i.e. E-Rank). Mental capacities are not affected, however. Lasts 5 of the caster's posts.
Jinton: Takusan Hoshi no Jutsu [ Speed Release: Many, Many Stars Technique ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The direct opposite technique of the Jinton: Shuriken no Jutsu, this slows down all airborne objects & entities within 4 meters of the user slightly per the user’s Body Rank. Lasts 2 posts.
Jinton: Ama no Gawa no Jutsu [ Speed Release: River in the Sky Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The direct opposite technique of the Jinton: Ecological no Jutsu, this physically speeds up those within a 30 meter radius, even the caster, to double their original speed. Mental capacities are not, however. Trees will snap & break, exploding up into the air, grass will become miniature knives, rivers will become torrential, human movement will become excruciating & tedious, etc...
Jinton: 'Jutsu zya nai' no Jutsu [ Speed Release: 'No Techniques' Technique ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: The pinnacle of Speed Release is to stop all chakra formation within a 30 meter radius, by causing a Mobius 'skin' of slow movement on those within the radius of the caster, including the caster. It affects only chakra molding & forming. Simple movements & the like are not affected in the least.

Shouton [ Crystal Release ] I’ll Turn You into a Statue!
 ___Background: ___The Crystal Release (晶遁, Shōton; English TV "Crystal Style" ) is a rare and specialized field of elemental Ninjutsu that can create crystal as well as manipulate already-existing crystals and crystalline structures. It can crystallize any substance, thus, earth, water, and wood techniques are useless against it. Using Crystal Release Ninjutsu, the user can crystallize any physical material and even the moisture in the air around them, turning them into a weapon. In the case of human targets, Crystal Release can solidify its targets down to the cellular level, imprisoning and even killing the victim should the crystal ever be struck, reducing the mass of crystal and the victim down to crystalline dust. ___The Crystal Release, though powerful, has two known weaknesses, the first being that it cannot crystallize either raw energy or Chakra as they have no physical mass to crystallize, allowing a person with either energy-based techniques, such lightning, fire, wind, or good Chakra control to properly counter it. The second weakness of Crystal Release is that it is susceptible to a specific sound wave frequency; because crystal requires a very precise build-up of molecules, the proper sound waves can break down the build-up before the crystal can properly form.
___Traits: • All Shōton users have Doton [ Earth ] and Suiton [ Water ] as Chakra elements. • All Shōton users learn Doton [ Earth ] and Suiton [ Water ] Jutsu one [ 1 ] post faster. • Shōton crystals are very difficult to break. Raiton techniques of the same rank and other techniques one rank higher can break it. • Creatures trapped within Shōton crystals are destroyed when the crystal is. • Chakra-based barriers can prevent crystal growth, regardless of rank. • Users can move freely in their own crystal.
___Special Ability: Shouton [ Crystal Release ] Description: This training allows the user to manipulate their Chakra to create the Crystal element. The Crystal element allows the user to manipulate naturally-occurring crystals and crystalline structures, including growing or shrinking them as they see fit. Must be learned before using any other Shouton techniques, as it allows access to both them and the Formless Shouton no Jutsu. Training Time: 5 posts.
Shishō Tenketsu [ Pressure Points of Harm and Death ] Description: The user opens two special tenketsu, causing their bodies to convert their life force directly into Chakra. By carving off one year of life per 160 Chakra gained, the user can either gain the Chakra as a temporary boost or use it to replicate the effects of the Sixth Gate opening for four posts. Chakra is sacrificed in bundles of 160. Average human lifespan is treated as 100 years for the sake of using this Jutsu. If the years subtracted equal the character's age, the character dies. Training Time: 15 posts.
Shining Judgment of a Thousand Stones Description: This unnamed ability is a closely-guarded secret of the Shouton clan. Few knew about its existence until an unnamed member rediscovered the ability and began teaching it as a staple. It is seen as the next stage of power in members who possess it, and as such the requirement for learning it are steep in regards to time. This technique allows the Shouton bloodline member to create crystals harder than quartz, or a 7 on the Mohs Scale of Mineral Hardness, with the drawback of increasing the casting time for their Jutsu by 1 post. Training Time: 15 posts.
___Techniques: Kurenai no Kajitsu [ Crimson Fruit ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: The user creates a dome of crystal to surround a target. It is highly durable from both external and internal attacks, and can be used to either protect or trap. At E-Rank, it creates a 1 meter diameter sphere. The diameter doubles for each rank above that.
Rokkaku Shuriken [ Hexagonal Shuriken ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: The user creates several crystal shuriken and launches them at the opponent. The shuriken are six-sided with spikes at the sides of each blade, resembling snowflakes. Creates up to 12 shuriken, at the user’s discretion.
Kesshō Kuruma [ Crystal Wheel ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: The user creates a ring-shaped wheel made of crystal vertically around themselves. This wheel spins quickly, allowing them to keep above water and reach a high speed. Requires the user continue running for propulsion.

Suishō Kyō [ Jade Crystal Mirror ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: The user creates a large mirror in the shape of a snowflake, which they can then use to perform the Jade Crystal Clone Technique. This full-length mirror can be made invisible at will.
Suishō Tō [ Jade Crystal Blade ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: With this technique, the user can quickly form a blade made of crystal on their arm, and use it in a manner reminiscent of a tantō. Blades can be formed on both arms if needed. Lasts for eight of the user’s posts, or four if blades are placed on both arms. Blades are compatible with sword-based Bukijutsu styles.
Kesshō no Hari [ Crystal Needles ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user creates long, sharp, pointed, bright pink and white crystals that shoot at the target at extremely high speeds with pinpoint accuracy.
Kesshō no Yoroi [ Crystal Armor ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: This technique allows the user to cover their skin with a thin sheet of crystal that improves defense against physical attacks. The crystal is transparent and can only be noticed by light reflecting off it, making it effectively invisible to non-Dōjutsu in most situations. Moderately increases Fortitude for 2 posts. Can be maintained after that time for half its original cost per post.
Rokkaku Shuriken: Ranbu [ Hexagonal Shuriken: Wild Dance ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user throws a vast amount of crystal shuriken at their opponent. They can also use a more advanced form of this attack where crystal particles surround them and condense into numerous shuriken. Up to 1000 Shuriken can be formed and launched at the user’s discretion over the course of 3 posts.
Shōton no Yari [ Crystal Lance ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: This technique allows the user to create a large and sharp spear-like crystal surrounding their forearm, which they can use to impale their target.
Shuriken Ranbu [ Shuriken Wild Dance ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user surrounds themselves in crystal particles, condensing them into numerous shuriken which then rain onto the opponent. Covers a ten meter radius area.
Suishō Rō no Jutsu [ Crystal Prison Technique ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: This technique allows the user to completely encase a single target in crystal. If the crystal is shattered, the victim disintegrates along with the crystal particles. If the target is aware of what is happening, they can coat their body in Chakra to prevent themselves from being shattered along with the crystal.
Hashō Kōryū [ Tearing Crystal Falling Dragon ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user crystallizes material in the area, then turns it into a dragon. The dragon can be used as a means to travel or to attack a target. Several dragons can be made and manipulated at once. Each additional dragon costs [ 20 ] Chakra to create, and each takes [ 10 ] Chakra per post to move.
Kesshō Gokakurō [ Crystal Pentagonal Prison ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user completely encases their opponents in crystal. When the crystal is shattered, the bodies of the victims disintegrate along with the crystal particles. Provides enough crystal to totally envelope two human-sized targets.
Shōjinheki [ Crystal Encampment Wall ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user sends out a wave of chakra which then turns into an almost impenetrable crystal wall which also repairs itself when damaged. Creates a 20 meter radius field of crystals. Chakra-based techniques are treated as one rank lower against it. The wall will repair any damage it sustains as long as it’s fed Chakra.
Suishō Bunshin no Jutsu [ Jade Crystal Clone Technique ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: Using an existing Jade Crystal Mirror, the user generates up to three clones that then step out of it. They are treated as full clones of the user in terms of strength, but have the defense of Shōton crystal. Dōjutsu cannot see through this clone.
Omiwatari no Jutsu [ Gods’ Crossing Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: Creates a line of waist-height crystals 20 meters in length on whatever surface the user is touching in whatever direction the user is facing. Crystals that pierce targets will automatically envelope them.
Shōrōha [ Crystal Imprisonment Wave ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: A larger scale version of Crystal Release: Crystal Pentagonal Prison, the user can encase a swarm of opponents in crystal. This crystal forms in the air rather than the ground. Only requires one hand’s usage for purpose of hand seals. Traps in crystal everything within 5 meters of the user, including insects.
Suishōheki Hachi no Jin [ Jade Crystal Wall Eighth Formation ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: This technique allows the user to encase a large area in crystal, thus crystallizing everything within it. Covers an area 10 meters in radius.
Kesshō Ibara [ Growing Crystal Thorns ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: The user creates growing thorn-like crystals that they can manipulate to continuously grow towards a target. At first usage, creates a large, leafless tree made out of crystals. For every post afterward, the user can create or extend one branch up to 5 meters long for 20 Chakra. Branches are sharp enough to pierce through all but the hardest materials.
Suishō Rokkakuchū [ Jade Crystal Hexagonal Pillars ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: After the needed hand seals have been performed, six large crystal obelisks—each twenty meters tall—rise from the ground in a hexagonal formation. All Chakra-based techniques used within the area marked by the obelisks is increased one rank in potency. Enhancement effect lasts for six of the user’s posts, after which the pillars remain but are inert.
Isshi Kōmyō [ String of Glory ] Rank: S+ :: Spiritual Description: After using the Pressure Points of Harm and Death, the user encases themselves in a prism of crystal. The prism can hover in the air and provides incredible defense, but is immobile. In addition, this technique allows the user to attack by focusing their chakra into powerful heat blasts launched through the prism's tip. Heat blasts overcome any defenses up to S-Rank and deal A-Rank damage, and up to 4 heat blasts can be launched per activation. Requires Shishō Tenketsu [ Pressure Points of Harm and Death ] be active, sacrificing at least 320 Chakra. The barrier is treated as S-Rank in strength.
Suishō Meikyū no Jutsu [ Jade Crystal Labyrinth Technique ] Rank: S+ :: Spiritual Description: First, the user creates a large number of crystal flowers. Then they can grow these flowers into a gigantic labyrinth consisting of red crystals. Enemies trapped inside it will mostly be lost because of the fact that the red crystals reflect their personal image as well as mirror images of the routes, paths, and details within the labyrinth. It is even capable of confusing the Byakugan because of its reflective nature. Because of the crystal's stable molecular structure, a simple attack focused at one point is rendered useless, and its wide surface will disperse the force of wide range attacks, reducing their effectiveness. To overcome this technique, an attack that has impact force both wide and powerful is required to smash through it. The labyrinth is totally enclosed and is 500 meters across and 50 meters tall. Can be destroyed only by elemental Korabo Ninjutsu of at least S-Rank, regardless of elemental components. Reflects Dōjutsu.

The Combo Kekkei Genkai Clan Diversity, Mobility, Heritage
 ___Background: ___This clan is comprised of many people born from parents of differing elemental affinities, with many more using their own combination elemental kekkei genkai. A select few are born with the correct elements to obtain the Kekkei Tōta of Dust Release, but their counterparts are still not to be feared. Combination Kekkei Genkai refers specifically to those elemental bloodlines that are comprised of two separate elements which in turn create another element. Hyōton, Shakuton, and Futton are all examples of two separate basic elements coming together to form another element. Users born into this clan are able to tap into these other bloodlines on fleeting occasions, with limited abitlites. Those born with the Katon, Doton, Fuuton combo are automatically granted its recognized Kekkei Tōta, Dust Release, at a cost of even lowered access to other bloodlines. ___Dust Release (塵遁, Jinton; Viz "Particle Style" ) is an advanced nature kekkei tōta, an advanced version of kekkei genkai, which is created through simultaneous use of the earth, wind, and fire natures. The techniques of this nature initially form as a small three-dimensional object (e.g. a cube, a cone, etc.) composed of chakra that forms between the user's hands. When the technique is released, the form expands and surrounds the target. This nature allows the user to manipulate molecules, giving them the ability to disintegrate anything on a molecular level within the boundaries of the three-dimensional form. Dust Release techniques seem to require a certain amount of time when preparing the three-dimensional object, making it possible to prematurely halt the technique before it is completed, but once it's finished, the technique can be fired with astonishing speed. The hands also play a crucial role in preparation of techniques, interfering with the user's arms can hinder the technique. Dust Release techniques also appear to be rather chakra-taxing.
___Traits: • Users exhibit the natures of 3 basic elements, requiring them for use. Since everyone starts with 2, this requires either the Ninjutsu class or an element-increasing PA be taken. • Users can forfeit usage of their basic elements to access the entirety of the advanced elements’ bloodlines. • Can only have a maximum number of kekkei genkai equal to one fewer than the number of normal elements the character would normally have. (i.e. A character with 3 elements can have access to two elemental bloodlines. Thus, a character with Doton/Suiton/Raiton could have Mokuton and Ranton, but not Jiton or Shōton.) • Users are not immune to their own jutsu. • Users do not receive the extra, optional attributes from those bloodlines, either.
___Special Ability: Kekkei Tōta Description: Those who have completed this training are allowed to pick one [1] jutsu of each rank from each elemental kekkei genkai they have access to, for a grand total of five [5] jutsu per each to add to their bloodline list. Training Time: 5 posts per bloodline.
___The Jinton [ Dust Release ] Technique: Jinton: Genkai Hakuri no Jutsu [ Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: The user employs Dust Release to create a three-dimensional shape with a sphere located at its center between the palms of their hands. The structure expands rapidly in size when propelled towards its intended target and traps them inside its confines. The sphere then bursts, reducing everything within the structure to dust. The technique isn't limited to just affecting physical matter; it can also affect chakra-based defenses, such as the Sharingan’s Susanoo. Requires the elemental combination of Doton/Katon/Fuuton and that Jinton [ Dust Release ] be chosen as an advanced element. The basic structure of this technique is the barrier usage containing the tiny ball of destruction. The barrier does not prevent physical passage, but does restrict the atomizing field. As it requires one [1] post of time to make the barrier the size and shape needed, other ways of keeping the opponent still during that time will need to be used. Size and Shape Variants: The shape of the containment fields affects the maximum size of the area affected; generally, the fewer corners a shape has, the larger it can be, excluding those shapes without any. Having one point (i.e. conical shape) will cover the longest of areas (10km+), but comes with an additional post of charging time. All other shapes have a maximum surface area of 54 square meters (i.e. a cube with side lengths all 3 meters).

Kemuriton [ Smoke Release ] Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire!
 ___Background: ___The Iburi clan (イブリ一族, Iburi Ichizoku) was a reclusive clan that lived underground in the Land of Fire. They had the ability to become smoke at will and still physically interact with objects. However, this ability was imperfect, causing them to occasionally transform unintentionally. In their smoke form, they were vulnerable to wind as it caused them to disperse permanently and die. Because of that, clan members did not tend to have long lives, and were forced to live confined in caves or places where the wind is practically nonexistent. Instead of tombstones to honor the dead, the clan would instead plant trees for them, believing their deceased souls would watch over them.
___Traits: • -1 post for bukijutsu training. • Any sort of constant wind will disrupt a smoke form, permanently severing it from the user. This is usually lethal. • Members can release very small quantities of smoke from their bodies as an appearance effect. • While Katon is not a necessary affinity, those without it cannot use specific Iburi Clan techniques that require heat. • The user's smoke takes on their chakra's color. • Members are unaffected by any side effects their smoke causes. • Members' blood can be ingested, allowing access to all known Iburi Clan techniques. This lasts until either 50% of the user's max chakra is depleted (cumulative), or until digestion is complete. Techniques must be trained before they are usable.
___Special Abilities: Kemuriton [ Smoke Release ] Description: This training allows the user to manipulate their Chakra to create the Smoke element. The Smoke element allows the user to manipulate naturally-occurring smokes and fogs, controlling their densities and paths. Must be learned before using any other Kemuriton techniques, as it allows access to both them and the Formless Kemuriton no Jutsu. Training Time: 5 posts.
Chūdan Kemuri [ Disrupting Smoke ] Description: The Kemuri clan’s smoke has a special property to it: it can hide chakra signatures and disrupts chakra sensing within the smoke. Techniques D-Rank and higher block any ability to see chakra completely. Techniques C-Rank and higher block all dojutsu perceptive abilities completely. Sensors must be of a higher Body Rank than the user to sense chakra within the smoke. Training Time: 4 posts.
___Techniques: Kemuri Eda [ Smokey Limbs ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user chooses to turn into smoke, allowing them to become permeable and unaffected by physical attacks, while also enabling the user to pass through objects like cracks or holes. Requires no maintain cost, but going back and forth requires the C-rank. Cannot do non-bloodline jutsu while in this state, and affected limbs must be turned entirely to smoke. Is considered supplementary, and requires no hand seals. If the user, while in full Kemuri Eda form, is rescued by a combined Mokuton/Kemuriton S-ranked Korabo as they are fatally dispersing, it will bestow an immunity to death via wind disruption. This Korabo will form a gigantic tree, rebirthing the dying target at its base. Remember, Korabo must be trained prior to usage, as stated in the Maruton lists.
Kemuri Bomu [ Smoke Bomb ] Rank: X :: Spiritual [ Trained as E ] Description: This is the basic technique of the Kemuri clan, the user quickly forms a small ball of smoke and throws it, when it hits anything it will disperse into a large cloud of smoke. The basic range is 5 meters (E-rank), and it increases by 5 meters for every higher rank used. (maximum of 30 meters) Does not cover up scents, cause people to choke and cough, etc. Is trained as an E-rank.
Noukou Soujuu [ Density Control ] Rank: X :: Spiritual [ Trained as E-Rank ] Description: This jutsu allows the user to control the density of smoke under their control. Increasing the density of their smoke traps anyone inside the smoke and stops them from moving any part of their body, and it can also be used as a barrier. Decreasing the density of the smoke allows for it to return to its previous state or thin out to increase visibility. Those trapped inside must pay in stamina a rank higher than the technique which formed the smoke in order to move. (Ex: If a C-Rank Smoke Bomb technique is used followed by this technique, the opponent must pay a B-Rank Stamina cost to free themselves. If multiple enemies are trapped each must pay the stamina cost individually.) The cost of this technique matches the technique it affects.
Kemuri Chouyaku [ Smoke Leap ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: After a quick, single handsign, the user vanishes in a puff of smoke and moves in a straight line up to 10 meters. Good for dodging surprise attacks. Shares a cooldown with Kawarimi no Jutsu [ Substitution Technique ].
Kemuri Bunshin [ Smoke Clone ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: Creates a clone made of pure smoke. After being hit once it will disperse into a large cloud 10 meters across. Noticeably weaker than the user physically and cannot perform jutsu.
Messhū Enrō [ Destroying Smell Smoke Prison ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user produces an extremely thick smokescreen which immediately makes the opponent cough and blinds them. Additionally, it also covers up the scent of the user and their allies. They may then attack at will. The smoke will spread out for 15 meters in all directions. Is not affected by Noukou Soujuu [ Density Control ].
Kemuri Kumo [ Smoke Cloud ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The user throws a projectile at an opponent. The weapon is enveloped by a smoke cloud which hides its exact location. If it encounters an active Kemuri Bomu cloud, or Messhū Enrō, the weapon's direction can be actively controlled while inside of either jutsu. Affects up to 10 projectiles at once.
Bakuhatsukaen no Shotto [ Exploding Flame Shot ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: By creating a spark from their hands (via friction gloves, matches, et cetera), this technique allows the user to throw multiple balls of smoke-like flames, which are able to either cause fiery explosions on impact or set the target on fire. Max of 4 balls per activation, with the power degrading to D-Rank with 2 and E-Rank with 4. Limbs affected by Kemuri Eda [ Smokey Limb ] can have this jutsu float about them as a more defensive maneuver. If the jutsu is performed in this manner, all balls involved retain their C-rank power, but lose the ability to be thrown.
Enmaku Rō [ Binding Smoke Prison ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user manipulates existing, non-jutsu smoke and condenses it to the point that it can wrap around a target to keep them from moving. Those trapped inside must pay, in Stamina, 2 ranks higher than the technique to escape. The natural smoke will retain all tendencies, weaknesses, etc., and cannot be affected again for 1 post after any potential breakage. This jutsu can be maintained for a C-rank cost, with one [1] continual handsign. If the user uses smoke from a Kemuri jutsu, said jutsu will lose its properties, turning into natural smoke.
Kemuri Atacchi [ Smoke Attach ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: This jutsu has the ability to reattach limbs that the user could have lost during battle. This only works on the user, and this jutsu only works on one limb per B-rank cost. Thus, it cannot attach multiple missing limbs with one use, though things such as fingers and toes can be reattached with one use as long as they are all on the same limb. This jutsu does not work if the limb was severed while in a smoke form. Is a one-handed seal.
Burū Sōdo [ Blue Sword ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user forms an oxygen rich smoke and ignites it with Katon chakra on a special weapon. This weapon is a bladeless sword that is essentially a large lighter. By activating the lighter, the user creates a flaming blade that can be used to slash and burn their opponents at the same time. The blue blade is so hot that a mere slash sets everything in its path on fire despite not making contact with the weapon. Has a D-rank cost per post for maintaining it.
Inbijiburu [ Invisibility ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: A puff of smoke is released from the user’s body and they become invisible. Dojutsu that can see chakra can pierce through the jutsu. Unlike Meisai Gakure no Jutsu [ Camouflage Concealment Technique ], this technique requires some form of immediately localized smoke to function. As a bonus: during the disappearance, the user may opt to swirl the needed background smoke to the place where they vanished, effectively dragging in most loose items forcefully for an instant.
Ibushimi no Jutsu [ Body Oxidation Technique ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: While in a full smoke form, an Iburi can enter a target through their nostrils and/or mouth. Once inside, the targets muscles, organs, nerves, blood, and even chakra become an extension of the Iburi's will, essentially becoming a new body for the user. While in this state, the Iburi can talk through and experience everything the target does. Alternatively, the user can torture the person from the inside, acting as a means of interrogation, possibly even kill them. While in this state, if the target dies, so will the user. Controlling someone in this manner requires a doubling of chakra upkeep costs per each post beyond the initial, and the affected is allowed to expel a greater amount of chakra to regain control. There are no upkeep costs for willing individuals. While possessing a willing individual, Korabo's effects are automatically applied if the training is present.
Kemuri Sanketsu [ Smoke Suffocation ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: This technique releases an enormous amount of special smoke in the air. This smoke displaces the oxygen in the air within the limits of the cloud. Enemies within will find it harder to breathe within the smoke as the oxygen is being displaced. If the enemy is still within the cloud after three posts they will fall unconscious from lack of oxygen. If the user continues with the jutsu the enemy will be dead after five posts. The user must remain still for the entirety of this jutsu (and hold the activation handsign) or the smoke will be dissipated and oxygen will rush back into the area. Since the user constantly emits smoke to displace the oxygen the only way to stop the jutsu is to kill or make the user move. The smoke has a radius range of 30 meters.
Shindou [ Tremor ] Rank: S+ :: Spiritual Description: The user turns to smoke and is allowed to go through the opponent, starting from the mouth and ending out the back end. When he reappears, the opponent begins to internally combust, then falls to pieces from the heat, starting with the top of the skull separating from the mandible, and the rest of the body from key joints. All knowledge the victim has is transferred to the user. This technique is rather straight forward and easy to see coming, to be used when the enemy is about to be finished off, as it has a slow movement. Requires a full body application of Kemuri Eda [ Smokey Limb ].
