- ↳ Raiment: Nullification
- ↳ Nullification’s function is to target the raiments of others. Daravin, using this raiment, targets the intuitive, raiment-related knowledge that all humans inherit from their birth. In doing so, Daravin disrupts the target(s) inherited knowledge on their raiment, thereby reducing their once powerful 3rd tier spell to the point of near complete nullification. As a result, this makes it extremely challenging for Daravin’s targets to cast their raiments, as there is a very high chance they have never learnt the various complexities and components that construct their raiment and it’s abilities.
However, while this raiment proves a valuable power, it also comes at a price. Should Daravin ever overuse his raiment, it can run the risk of causing severe mental weakness and stress, which can leave him unable to focus for varying amounts of time, depending on how much magical energy was excessively used.
It is worth noting that as Daravin is required to channel varying amounts of magical energy into using his raiment depending on his number of targets. Any other usage of magical energy, in the form of spells for instance, will affect the duration of how long he can cast his raiment before suffering from it’s mentally strenuous side effects. As well as this, before nullification can affect anyone, Daravin must first establish line of sight with those he wishes to cast it on.
- ↳ Stat Growth:
↳ Power:
When Daravin casts nullification on his selected target, Nullification affects the raiment stats of the afflicted party. Simply put, Nullification subtracts varying numbers of points from stats such as Power, Control, Speed, etc. down to a minimum of 1 point. Once at Power – 9, Daravin’s raiment affects all 5 raiment stats of his target, reducing them to 1 point. However, at this stage, Daravin also has a chance to outright nullify his target’s raiment, thereby rendering it useless. In this instance, the role player of afflicted character will need to role a single D-10 Dice. If they role a number equivalent to their level of intelligence or lower, the raiment of the character will remain active. If they roll higher, the raiment will be completely nullified and will not be fit for use.
In addition. the role player of the afflicted character can also choose which stats are reduced by Nullification.
1 - Can lower 1 stat by 1 point.
2 - Can lower 1 stat by 2 points
3 - Can lower 2 stats by 3 points
4 - Can lower 2 stats by 4 points
5 - Can lower 3 stats by 5 points
6 - Can lower 3 stats by 6 points
7 - Can lower 4 stats by 7 points
8 - Can lower 4 stats by 8 points.
9 - Can lower all 5 stats all points to a minimum of 1 point. Chance to completely nullify raiment from activating at all.
↳ Control: How much control you have over your raiment?
Details of the varying lengths of time Daravin can focus channelling magical energy into his raiment;
1 – Daravin can focus magical energy into his raiment for 10 minutes
2 – Daravin can focus magical energy into his raiment for 20 minutes
3 – Daravin can focus magical energy into his raiment for 30 minutes
4 – Daravin can focus magical energy into his raiment for 40 minutes
5 – Daravin can focus magical energy into his raiment for 50 minutes
6 – Daravin can focus magical energy into his raiment for 60 minutes
7 – Daravin can focus magical energy into his raiment for 70 minutes
8 – Daravin can focus magical energy into his raiment for 80 minutes
9 – Daravin can focus magical energy into his raiment for 90 minutes
↳ Speed: How quickly your raiment can move from point A to point B.
↳ Range: How far your raiment can go or the amount of AOE ability it has.
This section describes the radius in which Daravin’s targets will be affected by nullification once line of sight is established and nullification has been cast on the them;
1 - 2: Raiment affects targets within 2 metres of Daravin
3 - 4: Raiment affects targets within 4 metres of Daravin
5 - 6: Raiment affects targets within 6 metres of Daravin
7 - 8: Raiment affects targets within 8 metres of Daravin
9: Raiment affects targets within 10 metres if Daravin
↳ Technique: How skilled you are in using your raiment and pushing it to its limits.
This section works off the duration of time Daravin can focus the magical energy of his raiment while casting it on his targets and how the number of targets he casts his raiment on will affect how long he is able to maintain his raiment’s effect on them. So, for example, at the height of his power, he is able to maintain the magical energy he channels into casting his raiment for 90 minutes on a single target before overexerting himself. However, if he were to cast it on two targets when he is at his strongest, he would only be able to focus channelling magical energy into his raiment for 45 minutes as the magical energy he would usually focus on one target would now be focused on two, therefore the duration of how long he can channel energy into casting his raiment is halved. With each increase in the number of targets, the duration of how long Daravin can channel energy into casting nullification is divided by that number of targets. So, if Daravin cast nullification on 3 targets at 9 Control, he will only be able to focus magical energy into casting nullification for 30 minutes, as 90 minutes divided by 3 quals 30, and so on
1 – 1 target is affected by Nullification. No changes to the duration of casting Nullification
2 – 2 targets are affected by Nullification. Duration of how long Daravin can cast his raiment is divided by 2.
3 – 3 Targets are affected by Nullification. Duration of how long Daravin can cast his raiment is divided by 3

- Personality: Daravin is a quiet, yet, well-educated man. While he is in line to become the head of house Kuevaal, he does not share the stereotypical arrogance that befits most nobles. Instead he is, what many would say, “cut from a different cloth”. While most nobles may be obsessed with harbouring political favour, raising personal capital and fussing over their reputation, Daravin, instead, makes efforts to use his influence to change the world for the better. However, he was met with conflict after conflict from his father and other nobles, often being shunned or told to mind his place.
Daravin particularly dislikes nobles would boast their power to all who would listen. Seeing such nobles prance around, showing off their “powerful” raiments made his blood boil, which is why he took personal pleasure in humiliating these same nobles in front of their admirers. As well as this, he equally dislikes anyone, by they from the upper or lower classes, who would use their power for selfish gain, such as thieves, bandits and other criminal low-lives.
His actions would oft suggest that Daravin would be a “champion for the weak” so to speak, but nothing could be further from the truth. He instead views the victims of these criminals and low-lives with a total lack of sympathy, as he believes they have let themselves become weak, that they have spent their lives telling themselves “they can’t” when in actuality they can. As such, Daravin believes that everyone possesses the ability to become stronger, it is merely a case of having the drive to gain that strength.
In his spare time, he often likes to read books, in particular, works based on historical and scientific study, while enjoying a nice cup of herbal tea.

- ↳ Daravin Jacuqe’don Kuevaal is the eldest son to Elmund Ammether Kuevaal of the Kuevaal noble house. Currently, his father has grown in age and will soon pass on the responsibilities of the noble house to Daravin. The Kuevaal family holds a decent reputation in the Kingdom of Valor, often attending gatherings at Valor’s royal court.
While growing up, Daravin has always maintained a quiet persona. While he is by no means socially inept, he does prefer peaceful solitude compared to over-crowded gatherings in Valor’s many courts and noble households. While many his age would often strive to become the perfect son for their parents and their house, Daravin prefer to spend his time following pursuits more worth his time. As such, he has become vastly knowledgeable on Scientific, Historical and Magical study, having a published a few works of his own. In particular, Daravin takes significant interest in the Ancient Kingdom and its’ lost knowledge and arts on Magic.
However, Daravin also holds a reputation amongst Valor nobles for “stepping out of line” especially in his youth. As an example, while most nobles are satisfied with the status quo of the world, Daravin had made numerous attempts to use his influence as a noble to better the world in any way he can. His father and other nobles, however, often told him to mind his place. Besides this, there were other methods that his father resorted to, though such secrets were locked behind closed doors.
As he matured through his adolescence, he was “persuaded” by his father to take up studying the arts of spellcasting, as well as numerous other subjects, such as history, mathematics as well as the study of the chemical sciences. His studies in spellcasting had of course landed him in service to that Valorian crown. While Daravin didn’t feel any joy at being granted the position, it did provide him a way of utilising his developing talents as a spellcaster.
The more he witnessed the arrogance of human kind, while he studied more into the Kingdom of Old, the more Daravin adopted a nihilistic attitude to the world he was born into. Given his own unique raiment, he has humiliated his fellow nobles more than often, in particular, those who boast their “powerful” raiments to others. As it now stands, Daravin believes those who reside in the current world to be truly powerless, and that the world itself is a mere husk of what, at one time, was a great and powerful civilisation.
Now, at the age of 35, the noble is one the verge of giving up all hope for the world’s future. In regard to Daravin’s own beliefs, the current world in which he dwelled could not continue as it was…it had to be change…someway…somehow…. However, despite his own wishes, humanity seems content in it’s zombified state of arrogance, ignorance and stupidity.
