xxxxxxHISTORYx﹗x xxxxxxxxx█ Amethyst is the fourth child out of five children to Jason and Ruby Hughes. Her three older brothers showed their peculiarity at a young age, so Amethyst was eager to see hers. Coincidentally her parents were medics, one a field and the a pediatrician. Her mother has a peculiarity but her father did not. She got jealous over the fact that she didn't know hers yet, but her brothers figured out theirs.
It wasn't until she was babysitting her little sibling and they got injured under her supervision. She panicked and didn't know what to do since she was home alone. Quickly Amethyst put a hand over the gash to hopefully make it stop working and it started healing. She knew then that was her ability. She had to use it for good in her mind and had to help people. She saw the pain in her sister's eyes and that personally hurt her.
Years later, she figured out she could block the healing, but that wasn't something she wanted, so she never worked on perfecting it. If she became a hero, she could heal the heros and block the villians injuries, but she would have to personally be touching them.
