Okay, so, if for any reason you need to move a character or characters into another house, this is how you do it.

Single character moving into another character's house:

Change the title of your house's thread to say [Harry's Former House - Sold to NPCs] for example. Instead of Harry, you put the name of your character(s).

Use the word 'former' to show that he used to live there but does not any more, and add 'Sold to NPCs' to let others know that this house has been sold to Non Player Characters and no other users can take it over. (This means other people can't use the thread).

In the top post of your house thread, change your title to [Harry's Former House - Sold To NPCs] and then:

Share a link to Harry's new place of residence. For instance:

"Harry has moved in with Ginny. Come find him at [Harry and Ginny's House] (and you put the link to their new house thread here).

When Harry moves in with Ginny, the owner of Ginny's House must update their house thread to reflect the new changes.

So they would change it to [Harry and Ginny's House] instead of just [Ginny's House]. Harry and Ginny's owners/role players/Gaia Users would now be sharing the thread and both able to post and RP in it, since it is both of their house now.

Couples moving into another house:

Pretty much the same process, you just change the title of your house's thread to something like [Harry and Ginny's Former House - Sold to NPCs]. Use the word 'Former' to let everyone know that Harry and Ginny used to live there but they have moved somewhere else. And 'Sold to NPCs' to let other players know they should not post in there any more, but come find your characters at their new address!

Make sure you change the first, top post of your old house that your characters are moving OUT OF to say [Harry and Ginny's Former House - Sold to NPCs]. This lets other players know that the house has been sold to Non Player Characters when they click to view the thread.

Share a link to Harry and Ginny's NEW house in the thread. For instance: Harry and Ginny have moved into a new house - (and you put a link to their new house thread here). [Harry and Ginny's House]

Try not to move your characters to new houses too much. Only do it when necessary for role play purposes.

For example, when you and another user want to make your characters live together as a couple when previously they were both single and in their own houses. One of them is going to have to move. Or both of them can move to a new house together, leaving their old houses behind to be taken over by NPCs.

And if you have to move a character or characters MORE THAN ONCE, you need to put a number next to the word 'House'

Like this: [Harry's Former House 1 - Sold to NPCs]

Okay so that was Harry's first house when he lived by himself, before he met Ginny. He now lives with her in her house and their house thread is updated to [Harry and Ginny's House].

Or if you have a house that your characters have outgrown, that you can't renovate...let's say you need a bigger house because your family is growing (more kids, more babies, etc.) or you just want to make them a new house from scratch:

[Harry and Ginny's Former House 1 - Sold to NPCs]

For characters that have grown up and are old enough to move out to their own house, you just make a new house thread for them and title it with their name [James Sirius Potter's House] for example.
