One does not know their destiny, Nor the sacrifice it takes. But when a purpose is revealed, A new person it makes.
Now bound by life and name Though weight is all but the same. Life brings the weight of expectation. Name brings the weight of lamentation. Seems I have stumbled upon a most unlikely duo. Reshwyn looked from one to the other as she took in the pair before her. Thankfully she had caught their names, or this might be quite an awkward reintroduction. The Francis boy looked quite simple yet well kept enough that he wouldn't stand out in such a prestigious academy. Curious as well, which is always a lovely quality. The girl, Snow, seemed a little less kept together, though. Fashionable, and quite cute, she did keep good care of herself, but it seemed from Reshwyn's short encounter so far that she was already quite skidish. Run away nerves from being in this much people? Couldn't be that she had something to hide? Nah, that would only be paranoia talking. Her words have not betrayed her as of yet. No, Reshwyn cut her thoughts short before they ran away from her too much. She was much more inclined to allow Doerin to air on the cautious side while she greets new friends with compassion. Instead, her face turned to one of amusement, once more looking on as Snow frantically tried to get her bird under control. But... the bird chittered no longer. It had become a solemn gargoyle on the girls shoulder with it's gaze transfixed on Doerin. Now this did cause confusion and curiosity to rise in both parties. Doerin seemed to sense no magic or malice in the small bird, but was the reaction from simply the form Doerin was in, or the true nature of the small beast?
Before those questions could be answered, though, Francis had chimed in, the bird had taken it's swift leave, and Snow had been brought back to the conversation. It seemed everyone was in accordance with Reshwyn taking the lead, so she saw no reason to dawdle any longer. "Well then, I think we should take our leave! We shouldn't leave it untreated any longer." Reshwyn looked between the two, her warm smile trying to calm any nerves as she nodded to Francis, then Snow. Turning on her heel, she took the last nibble of her biscuit, returned her hand to the cozy confines of the fluffy fox tail, and strode slowly off toward the main school building.

"Thank goodness that I had my school tour but a few hours prior. I might have just been in the same position as you two." Reshwyn's voice trailed just over her right shoulder, playing through the fur that sat there. She made her way down the hallway only a couple strides before the other two, just off to their left as she could keep them close. "I can see how the academy can get confusing quickly, though it is quite spectacular as well, in it's own right." Her eyes scanned the walls up and over the vaulted ceilings. Quite beautiful workmanship the royals of Aeston commissioned for their prestigious academy. It filled Reshwyn with joy and wonder that confirmed that this was the right choice of action for her. There was so much giddy anticipation for her to start classes, she could barely hold it in. In fact, in that moment her step picked up a beat, bouncing slightly into a quick pirouette that sent her skirt swirling about her, and yet the fox masterfully clung to her shoulders without fail. Finishing a full spin, Reshwyn added one more step to turn herself to face the two trailing her before slowing down a touch for them to cover the added distance. A soft giggle slipped forth, just as melodic as her own voice, before she looked at the two with an almost childish smile. "I am quite excited to start classes, and find out what kind of wondrous minds teach here. Have you two met any of the teachers yet? Or better yet, have already had classes?"

𝒮𝓃𝑜𝓌 ❅ 𝒟𝑒𝓁𝒶𝒸𝑜𝓇𝑒 I am here: Hallways to the nurse With: "Francis", Reshwyn "One day, I'll be able to brave the world" ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ Snow stared mournfully at Nammii's retreating figure, sad at the loss of her ally, but understanding Nammii's well reasoned fear of the fox companion the other girl had. Her expression wasn't missed by Francis, who told her that Nammii would be back soon enough. She gave him a small smile before speaking, "Thank you. She's scared of foxes, so I'm not surprised she flew away." Snow gave one last glance towards where Nammii had flown off to, before returning her attention to the girl, who said it was time to take their leave.

As the trio traversed the hallways of the academy, Snow couldn't help but stare in awe at the architecture. Most of her life had been spent in her parents' home, or in the woods, so she wasn't quite used to such extravagance. Whoever had built the school had done so lovingly. The silence was broken by the elegant girl speaking, saying that she had taken a tour earlier and had remembered where everything was. Snow had taken the tour when she had first arrived, but had spent most of the time admiring the architecture, and that plus the sheer size of the school had meant she had forgotten where most of the things were.
Francis responded to the girl, saying that the place was massive, and unlike anything he had back home. Snow nodded in agreement, but didn't add any words until he said that he wouldn't have known where to go without the girl's help. "Yes, th-thank you so much!" Snow said, genuinely thankful for the girl's help. Having a nurse look at her albeit small wounds would probably be better than cleaning them herself. And maybe she could make friends out of these two people? The whole goal of going to the anxiety-inducing fall festival was to try and make friends, and she sincerely hoped that she would succeed by the end of it, so that her anxiety wouldn't have been in vain.
When the elegant girl mentioned meeting faculty members, the man from earlier, Professor Solomon. Her face flushed for a moment at remembering her mistake with his name, calling him Professor Count Solomon when Count was his title, not his name. "I um, met Professor Solomon earlier. He's the uh, faculty sponsor of the um, Archaeology Club. He was very, um, interesting. He showed me some artifacts the archaeology club had gathered," Snow said, thinking of the amazing shell key he had shown her.
The group walked in silence for a little longer, before Francis surprised Snow by asking how she was holding up. For a moment she thought he was talking about her knees, which stung but in an easy to ignore way, but instead he asked about Nammii. Snow blinked at him for a moment, her mouth opened in a small "o", surprised that he would ask about that. The people that Snow would interact with during her time in the woods didn't understand her attachment to the bird, and regarded her as a dumb animal. "Oh, uh, a little bit," she got out after a moment. Snow wasn't entirely sure how much she should tell him--that Nammii was a supportive figure for her, and helped curb some of her anxieties? She wasn't sure if that would seem weird. Would he and the other girl judge her for essentially having an emotional support bird? Perhaps a watered down version of the truth would be appropriate.
"She and I aren't, uh, really apart very often, so it's kind of, um, weird to be without her," It was mostly true. Even if Nammii wasn't within eyesight, she was always within earshot. Snow wasn't one to constrict Nammii, and let the bird roam as it saw fit. It just happened to roam fairly close to Snow. And being away from Nammii was definitely weird. The bird was an important support for Snow, and being without that support felt strange. Although, Snow certainly didn't need Nammii's support now as much as she did outside in the throngs of people. ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ ((ooc: )) ((outfit: same as picture)) ((toeto))

One does not know their destiny, Nor the sacrifice it takes. But when a purpose is revealed, A new person it makes.
Now bound by life and name Though weight is all but the same. Life brings the weight of expectation. Name brings the weight of lamentation. A dainty hand absent mindedly twirled a long strand of ice blue hair that fell free over Reshwyn's shoulder. The first responces had met her back thus warrenting no concern, but now that her sapphire eyes fell upon the boy, she was met with something Reshwyn didn't think would show it's face quite so soon. Though, I guess it is in the human nature to stretch the truth at times, so why should I be so surprised? As the boy's mouth fought his words, as if trying its best to force them back into his mouth, Reshwyn did her best to keep that childlike smile plastered on her face. Real question is why and how much... but I don't have the pieces to determine anything more so now is not the time. The princess had become quite use to people lying to her face back home as the court can be fraught with falsities. But that is just the way of life there. Outside the court it is hard to judge a person on their lies as Reshwyn's ability has no real meter, but more of just black and white. Many a time she tried to train it to give her more variety to help her judge sevarity, but it was to no avail. One day...
"Archaeology Club? Hmmm." Attention had been shifted as Reshwyn almost missed Snow's response completely. This was interesting indeed! "I do quite like learning about history, and what better way than out of the wonderful objects and structures left behind! Oh, that is wonderful news." Reshwyn backpedaled a bit more, her gaze returning to the ceiling in thought. "Tea Club... Archaeology Club..." she mused to herself outloud before returning a warm smile to the two, hopping into another 180 turn and resuming their way toward the nurse.
Reshwyn's pace had slowed a little, just about walking beside the two instead of leading like she had been. Though still slightly cautious of new people, the company had been nice, especially being of similar age. Every now and then she would look over to the two with a smile, making sure they were still with her, to guide, and general keeping an eye on. To her relief, Reshwyn happened to catch Francis' next statement, which came with all due sincerity. This did put Reshwyn much more at ease knowing that at least he didn't mean any harm. Everyone has a little something to hide, so for now she can be naught but cautious. The time will come as it always does. Who knows, maybe he is actually faculty! But Snow, now she seemed genuinly shy and anxious. Poor girl seemed to almost be holding up well enough, but there was a little here and there that let it slip. Might have been Reshwyn's own insecurities which she has fought with over the years that helped her catch Snow's, but her own position just didn't allow much for such feelings. "I actually understand that quite well." She stroked the beautiful white fur that encircled her neck, nodding. "Doerin here has always been at my side when I needed her." Granted their bond was a little stronger than most seeing as they were in a literal contract, but Reshwyn never really looked at it as such. Doerin was her friend, her closest confidaunt, the one person she could trust over all. Looking back at Snow with slight concern on her face, she nodded her head in apology, all be it a bit late. "I am truely sorry that Doerin was the one to scare your little one. I am sure she will return soon, though."
