- Loli has little to no actual magic ability. Instead she relies on potions where necessary, and Botany elsewhere.
Innate Ability: Demonic Power/Energy Store

- The way Loli's demonic energies manifest is actually quite simple. While she stops all of her being - standing still, clearing her mind of extraneous thought, even slowing or holding her breath - Loli will build up "kinetic energy" until she makes her first move. This build up will give her next action, or series of actions lightning speed that is pretty much invisible to the naked eye. From just a moment of this buildup, her next block, attack, or short movement will get this effect. If she waits a moment longer, or even two, the effect will stack. Her mind doesn't have to be completely blank, as she can still focus on those in her general vicinity, but it is very limited. While the noticeable things previously mentioned are getting this effect, in truth Loli's entire body is actually speeding up. This include sight, mind, metabolism. In that moment of release, Loli goes from a clear mind to the sped up processing power of her analytical brain. While under this effect, her mind is able to keep up with the heightened decision making necessary. As for metabolism, this helps with any potions or other edibles that Loli may employ. While most can be instant anyway, anything that takes a longer time to take effect is usually picked up by her body in this time, shortening it's delay.
Because Loli does experience her whole body speeding up because of this ability, she will not use it for much longer than a few moments, and probably a minute at max. This is because the longer she spends at the higher speed, the easier her mind will be to snap from how fast it is moving. Also she is now constantly afraid of losing control once more, so she tries to limit the use of her ability on principle.
Trained Ability: Botany
(Advanced)
- While Loli enjoys cultivating her plants and finding different uses, she has very specific goals in mind. Her first goal has already been achieved to a good degree: controlling her demonic energy, and in turn her anger. This is done from the concoction of her cigarettes. They are in fact a special blend of herbs that Loli has found work best in taming her specific brand of demonic energy. Being so, if anyone else demonic or of the sort smokes them, they may feel a little drowsy, but not much will happen. Will be more like smoking hay.
For Lolicia's grander goal, she hopes to find something she can use on a much larger scale that might even effect demonic rifts and the like. She is very keen on looking into alternatives for weakening rifts as she has seen first hand what fighting can lead to. So her brand of Botany has her working with wider range incenses that calm and weaken. She also dabbles a little in the opposite effect of strengthening for the purposes of her class. She likes to both challenge her students in a weakening situation, much like natural power weights, as well as strengthened situations, to show what they can do.
Magic Items: Knight Blade
- As a knight of Aeston, Loli was granted an enchanted sword of her choice. At the time she was much more confident in her own ability, not thinking there was much she would need to improve her abilities. But the one thing she was able to come up with was an enchantment of attention. Placed on her set of three katana, upon activation Loli let's out a call that draws the attention of those enemies around her. This is subject to the enemies will against Lolicia's own, but that is still not an easy feat. Beyond the initial activation, the effect does persist, granting most of Loli's guards and attacks the attention drawing ability, as if her actions are flashier than they really are. This does require Loli to allow her actions to be seen, so only applies to those that are not sped up, but anyone affected by the initial cry are also effected by each subsequent action.
Fighting Style: Katana-style swords

- Loli has developed a fighting style that is all about tank, analyse, and counter. She attributes it to swordsman of old who used Katana as well for a flashy attention drawing style, but also one of patience, careful analysis, and single devastating attacks to finish their foes. It just so happens that Loli's demonic ability helps with this fighting style. As for types of Katana Loli uses, she tends to stick with a longer nodachi (~90cm), but will carry a more customary size katana (~60cm) and a shorter, offhand wakizashi (~45cm).

- Lolicia has become quite the different person since she last stepped foot on QCA grounds. Her life is slower now, and yet she still constantly keeps her body and mind busy. Quite the fidgety individual, you can always catch her with something flitting through her fingers. Be it lit, or not, Loli will always have a cigarette hanging from her lips. If the former is true, it is good to take it as a warning that her fickle anger has just flared up, or is about to be peter off depending on how much is left. Best to steer clear for the time either way. Otherwise, she tends to keep a cool head just by bouncing around her classroom as she enjoys teaching her students quite a lot. Otherwise she will be strolling about campus or tending the rock garden back in her room.
History |
- Abandoned as a baby, Lolicia's only clue to who her parents was her own elven heritage. Instead unfortunate circumstances landed her in the laps of a demon worshiping cult in the far north of the Icelands. Her same heritage lead to the belief that she was sent by their demon lord, Yazmat, to be sacrificed in his name. And thus, began her childhood, raised as a pure sacrifice, locked away from the world. The first 13 years of her life were nothing more than her cell, her food tray, and the teachings of the cult. Her mind was left blank and body frail until the fateful day of her death. But sadly it did not go the way they had planned. The long cut down Loli's back surely would have killed her had the cult not botched their ritual. Instead of summoning the demon lord himself, somehow they summoned a vast amount of demonic energies which flowed into the waiting body that lay on the altar. These energies coursed through Lolicia, revitalizing her, but also imbuing her with a seething rage. Without a thought, she flew through the cavern with lightning speed, killing every cultist in sight and flying into the snow like a bat out of hell. Soon her rage subsided, concluding the first of three moments where she lost control of her power.
But had she not been found once again, the snow would have claimed Loli in an instant. This time she was found by a hermit, hiding away in the hills of the north, far from civilization. This was when Loli met the man she calls Grandfather. For the next 5 years, the hermit worked on undoing the damage the cult had caused. Teaching Loli of the world, as well as teaching her an ancient style he called that of the Samurai. A valiant warrior of honed mind and body, something she could use quite well in harnessing her abilities. He did not want her to shun them, but instead embrace and control them. And with that she excelled. Slowly she became more powerful, quicker, smarter. She could see many outcomes of a battle before it even begun, all from just holding her ground for a few moments. He was the one who gave her the name Lolicia Tatlin, for until then she still had no name. As the five years came to an end, word of the prestigious Queen Cordelia Academy reached their secluded corner of the world, and Loli could think of none the better place to continue her studies of both the world and of battle. And so she left her Grandfather and traveled to the great land of Aeston.
Her stay at the Academy was actually quite quick. She learned it all so quickly that she rose to the top of her grade. Also starting at the ripe age of 18, she already had her sights on Knighthood. But something was happening within Loli as she let her powers drive her through QCA. She simply did what her grandfather had taught her, and accepted this power bestowed. But it was changing her, making her more battle prone, even turning her into more of a demon with each passing day. Spars with her started leading to broken limbs, scared prides. She was not one to be trifled with. In her short 2 year stay, it was her Knighthood fight that stood out as the second moment Loli lost control. It didn't even take long, ending with the judge stepping in just before Lolicia landed the fatal blow on her opponent. By now, she had devolved into her full demonic state, that of dark horns, blue hair, glowing orange eyes, and thus couldn't see just how close she had come to killing yet another innocent. She was still granted Knighthood, but they knew just where to send her: Rhime. The quickly growing demon rift was a battleground like no other, a place Loli would excel and thrive. She was given the nickname Fairy as she entered, which quickly stuck. Her squadron knew well to keep their distance, backing their leader up, but not getting too close as Loli cleaned the battlefield. It wouldn't be long until the Fairy of Rhime Wreath became also known as the Demon of Rhime Wreath, and while everyone knew to fear her, they also knew just how much she was doing to hold back the demon swarms in order for the closing procedures to go through without a hitch. Those last 10 years Loli was present for the rift to be closed had not been without consequence, though. For near the end, in a pivotal battle, Lolicia ended up wracking up a kill count far greater that any other battle before it. Though it was mostly that of demon life, it also included all but a few members of her team, and a handful or two from others. Thankfully the ally kills had all been attributed to demon killings (quite ironic actually), but by the end of the fight Loli knew what she had done, and vowed that there would not be a fourth moment where she would lose control. The weight of all of her fighting was finally falling down on her shoulders and it was far more than she could bare. So when the time came for the offer of a position in the Royal Guard, Lolicia politely declined for a chance to take a break of her own.
This time finding her own corner of the wilderness, Lolicia took to the life of a hermit in the far north of the Icelands. Dedicating her life away from the blade, she took up Botany in the efforts to calm her own battered soul, as well as those around her. Slowly her demon side subsided and she returned to her usual self, but she would never truly be the same. As two years passed, she decided hiding herself out in the wilderness was no better than what the cult did to her in those first 13 years of her life. No. While she still wouldn't give into the demon power inside of her, she would go back out and conquer it, as well as teach others to do the same. QCA was calling once more, this time not as a student, but a teacher. One who is both striving to control the wild power within herself, and at the same time show those under her how to use and control their power on the battlefield. How ironic indeed, but something she felt she needed to truly move forward. So now, once again as Lolicia Tatlin, she left her past behind her in those icy hills, and returned to the great land of Aeston.

- • A long, diagonal, jagged scar travels down the length of Loli's back. From just inside her left shoulder blade, down her spine, and trails off to the right of the small of her back.
• With her scar incorporated in, Loli has a tattoo of a large, dead tree on her back. With the tip of her scar reaching up as one of the branches, the trunk is split half way with the scar just along the inside of the split. Then the bottom of the scar reaches across and into the roots off to the right. Only under closer scrutiny can you notice the scar is not actually part of the tattoo.
