Mosiah grew up in Cairo until he was 9, moving to the United States after the death of his father. His mother did her best to give him a good life, but fell into drugs and wound up being sent to prison (she was an American citizen after all). Mosiah was placed into foster care and moved from home to home, never finding a place of his own. Once he turned 18, he moved out onto his own and made a way for himself. Defiant to the end, he will not let anyone stand in his way. Neither religious remarks (even though he is agnostic and does not follow the Muslim faith) nor racist remarks (as he is very proud of his Egyptian heritage) nor family background will get in the way of his dreams and aspirations.
