Hobbies:

Judo - Sami got into judo for two reasons, one honorable, one silly. The silly reason was because of playing old NES classics pinched from her father.... Like Ninja Gaiden. The honourable reason is self defense. Sami is well aware the world is spmewhat more dangerous to girls, and takes judo and self defense seriously -- and enjoys it enough to enter herself in as many tournaments as possible. Judo is good exercise and stress releif, and will gladly encourage others to take it.

Gaming - Sami enjoys video games almost as much as her twin brother, and favors similar games at times -- and her own tastes others. She's one of few whom will engage her brother in Mario Kart, and the JRPG nerd in the house, enjoying Final Fantasy and similar games... She's also open toi other forms of gaming, including card games like Magic: The Gathering, partly of love for the art, partly to torment foes with her decks into victory. Most people try avoiding her when she gets out the board games, because she likes Monopoly. She tends to somehow win at it. A lot.

Cosplay - Sami loves costumes and cosplay. It's the only way to get her to sew becvause her costuimes will be accuratew and perfect. While she may dress outside her bodyshape, she has fun and doesn't do it for prizes (although she will enter masquerades) -- notr does she back away from challenges. She will try animals, people, non-humans, and more all in the name of fun and sees cosplay as exactly how she treats it... A hobby, and avoids being unkind or malicious if competing in an actual contest as often as possible.

Anime - Anime. Is. LIFE. Sami is a large fan of animes, such as Slayers, Boku no Hero Academia, or anything with ninjas and it actually does show. She watches it, recruyits her relatives and their friends into watching it, and, to boot, they tend to end up watching her try begging to go to anime cons. SDami is the one who has a touch of the weeb and heeds the call of the otaku and ain't nothing wrong with that, because of all her crazy for anime, she's respectful of those not ond. Oh and her current favorite shifts. Often.

Virtues:

Patient

Sami is the sort whom doesn't get frustrated easily. While she can get frustrated, it takes a long time. To that end, Sami is good at listening to problems, waiting out rant fests, crying fests, or even waiting in a line for a new game. While not infinite, Sami can wait out most things and generally does so to wait out something to get to better things.

Cool under pressure

You can't have diamonds without some kind of pressure, and Sami is probably some form of this. When things get hot and stressful, Sami's abole to keep calm and tries calming others -- be it finals, a class project, or some other minor catastrophe, Sami is the one who can keep her s**t together and keep her head, regardless of what's falling apart around her. This is especially helpful in a family of drama kings and queens, where she usually has to snap people to sense again, particularly during issues. It's just part of the day to day, and most people think she underestimates her ability to simply not lose her head.

Protective
Sami is a protective sort of the people she cares for. Be it family, friends, or the local outcast (yes, really), Sami will be there, uop in the aggressor's face challenging their bullshit to a throwdown with the razor sharpness of some blades. She's not one to let people get hurt when she can prevent it and tries to ensure the safety and well being of people she cares for at all costs.

Flaws:

Bad Leader

Sami should not be a leader for all her skill. She'll even admit if given authority she'll get overprotective, and start to micromanage to obsessive levels, losing sight of a big picture to optimize the short term. She tries, but her leadership for all her virtues, is just crap-tacular, especially when she3 does finally say bugger it and let people resolve their own conflidcts. Nobody wants to let her lead anything, nor does she think she ought to.

Forgets own needs

Sami is a protector, a person whom cares for others, whom puts others first... So it tends to surprise people when they realize she's screwing her own needs over to tend others. She generally forgets to look after herself, and runs herself ragged to get things cared for others, usually to a point that begins to bodily cause her harm... Or even mentally. She considers her needs insignificant, and often doesn't understand why putting others ahead iof her own needs is so wrong, despite what most say.

Poor at Socializing

Sami is somewhat awkward socializing. She herp-derps a bit, trips over thoughts, and generally doesn't know what to say or how to say it, and somethimes she says the wrong thing at the wrong time. She's a bit of a trickster too, but, she's not good at keeping it from seeming serious... So usually, she comes across as what she is. Completely awkward abnd entirely derpy.
