Lambda Aurigae didn't really power much. She'd awakened with her twin brother, but after he'd, well, yeeted to his own crap, she wasn't really bothered. Elpis handled the payrol work, even if she liked disappearing weeks at a timer - ugh - but this time, Elpis... Elpis didn't seem back. She'd called her older cousin, but the number was disconnected, so Lambda Aurigae had no choice this time. If she was going to find Elpis, she needed powered boots on the ground, or, in this case, slippers. Having a magic kigarumi for a fuku was fantastically comfy, and the slippers were wonderfully comfortable... Somehow. Magic? Probably magic. Regardless, the rather inexperienced senshi was out on a demi-warpath, looking for her cousin fervently. Something was Wrong, and that was all Lambda Aurigae knew. The remaining information would come when it came, but... Well, where did she start asking about a missing senshi?!.... She did not think this through.

Lysithea came across the unknown senshi and took a long moment to simply stare. She was trying to figure out just what the sphere could be, but no matter what strange things her mind was coming up with…she couldn’t figure it out.
The idea that this might be one of the ones from space did cross her mind, and she pursed her lips, finally placing a smile on her face. “Ah. Okay, I give up. What are you the senshi of? I can’t tell, and I’ve been creepily staring at you for way too long. Take pity on me.”
Of course, if she was going to ask for information, it would be good to give her own. “I’m Lysithea, Senshi of Unicorns. In case you were waiting for my name before giving your own which, that’s totally understandable.”
Could she be the senshi of kelp? Was that kelp? Seaweed? Sea Lions?
…Was that even how sea lions looked? Lysithea would have to do some research when she got home, just in case.

Oh! There was another senshi, and a name... It sounded familiar, but if so, Elpis mentioned the name exactly a handful of times, two years ago, And no further, but she4 recalled mention of a Senshi of Unicorns. Good enough, really, and Lambda Aurigae offered a shrug awkwardly, before motioning. "Sorry -- I didn't notice. Ah... I'm Lambda Aurigae, Senshi of Selkies." She really wasn't bothered by staring -- her fuku was essentially pajamas, and her fuku-jammies were comfy, though after a moment, she w2as surprisingly serious. "I -- I'm sorry, I hope I'm not imposing -- have you seen an Eternal going by Elpis about of late? I... I... She's my cousin, but she's gone missing." The concept of side-swaps and corruption were absolutely alien to the senshi, as was much of the war. Elpis mostly told her "Don't go out powered unless you have to", with almost no information past... Uncle Albert was a knight? And absolutely no context, and Lambda Aurigae hoped Elpis wasn't dead, really. ..... Maybe3 she3 should've asked a cat?

Lysithea frowned slightly. Elpis? It did…it rang a bell. She had been told something of an Elpis, hadn’t she? Perhaps she’d have to ask Malcolm…he would know. “Selkies? That…” She wasn’t really sure what that was either but it was something to research at least!
“That’s neat! I…I’m afraid that I haven’t heard anything about an Elpis…but I think one of my friends has mentioned her, if I’m not mistaken. I’m happy to ask around for you, see if I can find any information?”
She chewed her lip for a moment. “How long has it been since you’ve seen her? Elpis, I mean? Has it been a while?”
Hopefully it wasn’t the same situation that Lysithea had been in. Hopefully she wasn’t in the clutches of the Negaverse too…but.
If she was. They could help. They would help. They had to.

DAMNIT! Although Lysitheia at least seemed willing to help look, and that was something. "That.. Might be good." Lambda Aurigae bit her lip, frowning promptly. "Technically, I'm not supposed to power unless I'm in trouble, but this isn't like her. Normally she grabs roughly a few weeks of provisions, does some gigs for her home job to pay her apartment, and goes to her homeworld a few weeks but she doesn't... Vanish like this. It's been weeks since she last got back, but she hasn't seemed to reprovision, she hasn't called -- her... Her phone is dfisconnected. I don't know... I don't know what happoened and I'm panicking, a bit. My twin brother and uncle fecked off or something, and she was down about it, but this is -- I... Thisd isn't normal.." And it SCARED hjer!

Weeks. That was good at least. Weeks wasn’t…wasn’t so bad. It wasn’t months. Wasn’t nearly a year…but. Weeks was still a long time, and anything could have happened in the time span of weeks…
Swallowing, Lysithea moved closer and held her arms open to Lambda Aurigae. “I know that we’re not really friends or anything yet, and I’ve done absolutely nothing to deserve your trust but. I just want you to know that I’m here, and I have a whole tribe of friends who will help us find her, okay? We won’t let her stay missing forever. We can bring her home, I promise.”
It felt right. Saying things like this. Offering her assistance. It felt like she was falling back into a stride she hadn’t realized she had been missing.
Everyone had said she was good at helping, hadn’t they? Well. If she could start to help again…
“If you’d like, I can get your number and reach back out to you when I’ve talked to them, I really…I’m so sure I’ve heard the name Elpis before..”

"Friends." Lambda Aurigae whistled, but was happy to hug, sighing a bit as she gave the older woman a tight one. She was... Worried. "I'd like that. I'm not sure how many friends Elpis has, magically speaking. I... Awakened with my twin, originally, but he took off somewhere with my uncle and Elpis just... She was already weird when we awakened, but she shut down. Ran off to her... Hey, what's a homeworld? -- Beyond that I. When we awakened she was... Panicking like something bad might happen to us. She doesn't... Discuss... Magic with me either. Just a "Don't Power" attitude." And that wasn't liuke Wren - Emily, to others. She'd generally been their rock, but then the family broke up, and now, this. "...Lysithea? If you don't mind another question... How dangerous is this magic thing? Elpis... Wouldn't tell me anyt5hing but she practically considered slaughtering the cat that did it. Is something wrong?"

Ah. Lysithea did enjoy hugs, and she squeezed back tightly before pulling away. “A homeworld? It’s the celestial object that you get your power from…like, mine is a moon of Jupiter, Lysithea. It’s beautiful up there, and I’d be happy to take you sometime if you’d be interested?”
The idea of this Elpis just going into a panic while thinking about powered life…it…didn’t quite sit well with Lysithea and she frowned slightly. “I’m not…sure why she’d do that. There are dangers, sure. But there are dangers with everything in this city, and if you’ve been given the power to protect yourself…Elpis shouldn’t have tried to keep you from it. That would have put you in more danger than assisting you in learning…which. I’d be happy to, you know. Me and my group, my friends. They’d be happy to be your friends too. We can help you become stronger so that the danger is less. And when we find Elpis, I’m sure she’ll agree too.”
And if she didn’t…
Well. Lysithea would have already helped Lambda Aurigae as much as she could have so, it wouldn’t really matter.

"I'd like that." Lambda Aurigae admitte3d. "All this business makes her get weird and cagey and then she acts like we'd get killed. Or... I would." A sigh. "My twin's not in town, at present. He's with my uncle, and that's when Elpis started avoiding the planet. Pretty sure she's depressed about it, given how attatched she used to be to my uncle. And that's why all of this os weird, even for her. She wouldn't up and cut off. She's a disaster, not... This bad. I'm rambling though. Stress." Another shrug, just... A bit. Really, normally, she was pretty calm, especially for HER family.

Lysithea nodded. “No, I understand…she just loves you is all. But. I’ll make sure you’re kept safe. I promise. I’ll go and ask my friends about her now, and I’ll be in touch soon, okay?”
Hopefully she’d have some good news to share. Hopefully getting in contact with Elpis would be easy...though. If it had been so long, that hope was perhaps a little…worrisome but.
All Lysithea could do was her best, and that would be what she would do.
“Take care, be safe and if possible, while you’re still a basic senshi, if you have anyone you can patrol with, you should do that. Call me if you want me as a partner, I’m more than happy to spend time with you!”

Lambda Aurigae nodded. "No, that makes sense and -- thank you. I'll see if I can't find any clues before I head home myself. Hopefully, one of us finds something." Hopefully. Very hopefully. "I'll... I'll call you soon. I don't really know anyone, sp..." And she bowed before motioning. "Right! I better get moving. I'll -- see you soon." And the senshi was off down the path. Hopefully, shje'd know something soon. Hopefully.
