- Being a Changeling, Felix is able to shapeshift into nearly anything he has seen or can imagine up. Humanoid figures within one feet of his normal height and stature are the easiest, being able to do so in nearly an instantaneous moment. Anything larger or smaller takes a few seconds to fully transfigure into. Small animals take roughly ten to twenty seconds to transform into, more if he hasn’t shapeshifted into the animal in question or not. Anything larger takes nearly a minute to shapeshift into, having to reconfigure his form and enlarge himself. Shifting down in size is the fastest method he can do, and Felix is able to stay in any form indefinitely until he decides to change back.
One of the major drawbacks however is that, once he goes down in size, it takes much longer to go up in size. Becoming a larger person from a small child falls takes nearly a minute, while going from a mouse to a small child could take a minute to two minutes. Doing this ability in rapid succession fatigues Felix immensely, and after took long, slip ups are bound to happen. If too fatigued to concentrate, Felix can end up as a mashup of various creatures, or even as an amalgamous blob if not careful. A good nights rest usually remedies this problem, but no clear repercussions have been noticed yet from overusing this.

Personality |
- On the surface, Felix can seem to be rather trusting of others, especially those of higher authority or significant placeholding. To his peers, he seems to truly try to be friendly as well, but this is only a facade. Past his often friendly demeanor he is extremely paranoid of anyone and anything that gets too close or personal with him. Any form of friendly or cheery approaches are taken as a risk towards his person, thinking they are just trying to get close until he lowers his guard. If cornered into a situation, Felix’s natural instincts tend to kick in, barking orders and intimidating anyone who would try to harm him. All in all Felix is just scared and wants to fit into normal society, but doesn’t know how to relax and let others into his life.
History |
- Born into a traveling merchant family of Changelings, Felix was quickly separated from his father when he was two years old during a trip through Moonbriar. Alone with his mother, Felix’s mother did her best to keep him safe, but soon died to unknown assailants in a desperate attempt to keep him alive. Alone in this bleak city, Felix was quickly discovered by a kingpin of a local drug cartel, taking in the young infant and raising him. Never fully holding a single memory of his true parents, Felix learned how to be a changeling on his own through experimentation and forced entertainment. Though his life was tolerable by most standards, he never truly had a happy moment among the other gang members. The King pin sought to us him as a jester, a form of entertainment when times were dull, and during the other moments, a well versed spy. He exploited the boys talents to change shape on a whim, using him to spy and infiltrate the other rival gangs on a frequent basis. Each time risking the chance of Felix dying or being captured.
Fifteen years came and went before any sign of salvation arose for Felix. In his upbringing, he’d killed men to save his own life, beat down innocents for scraps of food, and humiliated himself for the sake of entertaining his boss. He hated his life, his very existence. He wanted out, he wanted a solution to his problems. With the recent arising of rumored ‘undead’ abominations rambling about the streets, Felix was often assigned to espionage missions in his teen years, taking to the skies and rooftops to explore the city. It was during one of his routine excursions that he saw the salvation he desired. Just beyond the walls of Moonbriar he spotted a platoon of knights, marching in perfect unison. To see such organization, such unity.. It inspired Felix to seek freedom. To break free of his chains.
For the next year, Felix schemed and planned his escape. He set his sights for Silverkeep, to enroll into the Knighthood school at Queen Cordelia Academy. All he needed was a way out. Planting various checkpoints on his route out of Moonbriar, Felix made one daring plan, changing his shape into that of his kingpin boss. While the real crime lord slumbered, he ordered all his members to strike out at their rival gang, to leave no man or woman standing. The inspiring rally caused mass chaos within Moonbriar, and, amidst the chaos and havoc, Felix escaped. Getting out of Moonbriar was easy, but the following travels were long and tedious. Eventually making his way to Silverkeep, Felix was in the place of his dreams. Nothing but high hopes awaited him.

- Unlike most Changelings who exhibit milky white skin in their normal forms, Felix is pitch black from head to toe. Never able to get an answer for this abnormality, he writes it off as his own soul being tainted by the environment he is surrounded by.

- Unbeknownst to Felix, his father is still alive and a rather famous (if not infamous to some people) traveling entertainer and merchant by the name of Mr. Mask. He is a frequent visitor to Silverkeep where he puts on impromptu shows or sells his various wares.
Though he isn't proud of this achievement, Felix is a rather skilled killer, having claimed the lives of at least fourteen people he can recall at any given moment. He will be hard pressed to express this information, even to those closest to him.
