- General demonic capabilities (moderate) - in terms of effect and distance. This mostly involves creating a hovering fire or other related phenomena, which are not permanent: ending in a short amount of time if not canceled out. If making an impact on the scenery, anything that resulted from effects however tend to remain. 3 effects at most can exist at once. The distance of any - limited to a couple yards - and the amount existing effects causes mental strain/exhaustion relative to both limitations. An action such as speaking in a needed language or snapping his fingers is necessary to initially create an effect itself, by the energy spent doing either: while the resulting creation of effect/effects causes further expense.
Besides this, he is able to endure heat to a moderately further extent than most may, and shapeshift - while limited to a deer species.

Personality |
- Absent-minded, not imagining things a lot, but getting lost in thought. Doesn’t speak a whole lot - let’s others talk more, despite putting in words when he wants to or feels it necessary. More action-based, doing things for others when asked/on a spur, and using expression or body language to show his mood more than he does in words or vocal tone. Outgoing, yet can be occasionally lazy/indifferent; and a lot doesn’t faze him overall. Opinions tend to be voiced; not forced by much despite being stated/possibly gone over. Direct but distanced. May shrug sometimes / make a passive ‘idk’ sound. Super chill. Tends to throw offhand responses/comments/etc over his shoulder, if not being more direct [at about the same ratio], when addressed/feels like he should say something.
History |
- Although this is not something easily admitted, Zurinh came from a somewhat higher-up class of group, below the royalty of one of the varied demon realms - Ornath, but still significant socially. His line is older, but not as much as others in the mixed population, despite many being lower-class - of that icy plane. The group he came from is associated with and tied into various concepts - which could seem odd to most outside of his species - but isn’t in his own view. In Zurinh’s own case, he doesn’t talk about what he represents for the most part - although it’s not something to entirely look down upon, despite holding some negativity - as most demons tend to have or be attributed with in some way, directly or not. In terms of his own history: Zurinh came about some time ago, and lived around his relatives and others of his class for most of the duration he’s existed. Although his time spent there, serving the nobles as an aid, but not yet an advisor - wasn’t without cost; something that was necessary by a moderate degree - it was enough of a balance in cost/benefit that it’s not seen negatively.
His move to Cordelia Academy was a voluntary one: although not needing to go essentially, for a while there was a sense of ‘suffocation’ in his current life. Staying where he was, although serving a purpose as an aid for scholars and others at the time above him in rank and attempting to aim higher through study; wasn’t something he was then happy with. While going back is always an option, for at least some years doing something else than that seemed/seems better. Filling out the paperwork came first, before genuinely starting off.
