An area that has booths for the clubs to advertise and draw in students. Every booth is manned by a club member NPC (or PC), who is more than willing to explain the club and what it does.

๐๐๐๐ถ๐ธ๐๐๐ I am here: The Tea Club booth With: No one "One day, I'll be able to brave the world" โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Snow was not having the best time. In fact, she was almost wondering if she should have just stayed in her room. There were people everywhere, closing in on all sides. Of course, what should she have expected from the welcome back to school festival? It was probable that the entire student body was there at the event, playing carnival games and eating pies. Why did I even come out again? Snow thought to herself, although she knew the answer. Her mother's voice echoing in her head, telling her that she couldn't spend all day locked up, and had to go out and make friends. She hadn't been very good at following that advice while her mom was alive.
Snow was drawn from her reverie by the sound of her crow, Nammii, cawing on her shoulder. "What's up, Nammii?" Snow asked, turning her head towards her crow. The crow seemed to be pointing at a less populated area, that of the club booths. "Ah, good eye!" Snow cheered, before making her escape to the booths.
Snow walked down the aisles of the booths, taking in the names of the various clubs the school offered. There was a cooking club, an architecture club, the theatre club. What drew Snow's eye the most, however, was that of the Tea-Tasting club. There wasn't a lot of people gathered around it, so that was one plus. She also had fond memories of trying out various types of teas with her parents when she was younger. She made her way over to the booth and began to look at the displays they had. A traditional teapot with Drapponese designs and matching teacups, a mixture of pre-bagged tea and loose leaf, and little plastic cups filled with brown liquid.
Snow began to reach for one of the tea samples when she heard a voice call out to her. "Hello, sorry about that! I was running to go get some more hot water and had to leave the booth unattended. Are you interested in the Tea Club?" Snow nodded tentatively, putting the tea cup to her lips and drinking the lukewarm liquid inside. It was a fruity tea, a hint of orange in it. It probably tasted amazing when it was actually hot. "Alright well, we're the Tea Tasting Club! We're hosted by the new teacher Chao Jiao-Long, and it's a club basically doing what the name describes. Students and teachers can come any time during club meetings, enjoy some tea, and relax!"
Snow nodded, placing her finished cup back on the table, her hand trembling slightly. "D-do you, um, do you have any um, hot tea?" She mumbled out. "Oh yeah, sorry! This tea has probably gotten a little cold by now. I didn't really think about that beforehand, maybe I should have gotten some ice so I could say it was iced tea, huh?" the student said with a laugh. "Just give me a minute and I'll make you some fresh tea, hm?" Snow nodded in response, and the student got busy using the hot water they had gotten to make more tea. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: )) ((outfit: same as picture)) ((toeto))

Ethan Wishart If there is no place for me in this world, I will create my own.
I am here: club booths I am with: a potential club member I feel: kinda awkward!
Ethan was manning the archeology club booth at the moment. A replacement would show up eventually, but for now, here he was. It was . . . well, pretty boring. He'd brought along some old books from the club room to flip through while he waited for someone to come by. Sitting there looking bored probably didn't help his case, but not many people were stopping by. To make things worse, he was directly across from the tea club. Not that they were super popular either, but people tended to grab a sample and then book it before they could be talked into joining the club.
Ethan looked up from a thrilling section about an ancient Summermountian burial site when he heard some laughing and talking from the tea booth. A pretty white haired girl was talking to the person running the tea club booth. Maybe he could get her to join the club. Wasn't like he had anything else going on at the moment. She had a bird with her though. Ethan wasn't as a big a fan of animals as they were of him, so he avoided looking at it directly. Talking to the bird to get the girl's attention could have been effective, but he really just didn't want to.
While the tea club member had their back turned, Ethan leaned out from the booth a little and called to the girl, "Anyone can drop by the tea club, including non members, but if you want to read old books about really old places, and then take field trips to them, well, the archeology club is your only choice." Ethan was still a self conscious about his voice. He'd been practicing a little, but it didn't exactly help him pass. It wasn't like he could just not use it either. As he spoke, Ethan held up the old book he'd been looking at for the girl to see. It was pretty weathered, but wasn't falling apart anywhere. Hopefully she would want a closer look.
Maybe this wasn't the best strategy. Ethan had some pictures of last year's field trips in a binder in his backpack, but he didn't want to bust that out if he didn't have to. It would be pretty hard to claim that the antlered "girl" in the pictures was anyone other than him, and while it wasn't like he was going stealth or anything, he thought keeping the focus on the club would be in his best interest.

Her back stiffened, terrified for a moment before she realized it was just another operator of a club booth. She turned around to look at the person, warm brown hair and an adorable set of antlers. She wasn't quite sure about their gender though--if they were male or female. Their appearance was definitely that of a male, but the voice made Snow pause for a moment. It was high pitched, either a male doing an imitation of a female voice, or vice versa.
"Does it really matter? What matters about a person is their personality, not their outside shell," Snow's father's voice rang in her ears. He'd said it to her after she'd come home from school, crying about how the bullies made fun of her white hair and young appearance. They were wise words, ones that Snow carried with her--what mattered about a person was not who they were on the outside, but who they were on the inside. "I-I'll be right back. Um, please, um, call me when the tea is done," she said to the person running the tea booth. "You got it!" The person said, before turning back to the tea timer.
Snow turned around and walked to the archaeology booth, glancing at the book the deer person had provided. It certainly looked like it might hold interesting facts about ancient societies. Snow stood in front of the booth, and Nammii hopped off her shoulder and over towards the deer person's hand. "Oh, uh, don't mind her. She's friendly. Mostly. Unless you're mean to her, or me," Snow said. The crow had managed to avoid anything important looking on the table, and was instead sitting in an empty space, seemingly gazing intently at the deer person. "B-but, uh, if you need me to, um you know, move, just um, let me know?" Snow asked, realizing that her previous statement might have been perceived as rude.
"Um, anyways, what kind of field trips do you guys go on? D-do you have any pictures or anything?" Snow asked, trying to change the subject from her bird. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: )) ((outfit: same as picture)) ((toeto))

Ethan Wishart If there is no place for me in this world, I will create my own.
I am here: my booth I am with: white hair girl, her bird I feel: extra awkward!
Alright, Ethan's plan seemed to be working. The white haired girl politely told the tea booth person that she had more important clubs to check out, and left them all alone with their leaf water. She'd seemed a little surprised to be getting called over, so Ethan smiled politely at her. She took a look at the book, and her bird made a move towards his hand. Ethan flinched back a little. He should be more used to animals trying to be his friend or whatever, but it still never failed to bother him. Plus, the bird was just . . . staring at him. Ethan couldn't bring himself to meet its gaze. He didn't want to initiate a conversation or anything.
The girl seemed to notice his discomfort, as she reassured him the bird was friendly. "A-ah, of course. Animals tend to like me." Ethan trailed off, not wanting to add that he didn't like them back much. Might not be the best thing mention when her pet was staring right at him. Ethan decided to keep his focus on the girl. Hopefully, a future club member. She told him that if he needed her to move, he could ask her though. Ethan shrugged a little, telling her, "Well, doubt you'll be in anyone's way. The archeology club isn't all that popular. Just me and a couple of other sophomores."
Ethan winced a little when the girl asked about seeing pictures. Beginning to slowly turn red, Ethan nodded, "Uh, you know, archeology dig sites and stuff. The occasional old temple. But uh, pictures! Yeah, we got those." Wasn't like he was hiding anything, haha. Ethan turned around to his backpack and pulled out a binder. He set it on the table for the girl to look at. His face was pretty bright red at this point. "Ah, the uh, pictures of me in there are from when . . . I had long hair. I probably look kinda girly, but it's me." Sure, and wearing feminine clothing as well. And not wearing a binder. At least they weren't close ups or anything. The club always got a group photo in front of whatever site they were visiting. The girl would find a group of six posed in front of various sites. Some were in front of massive stone structures, and others had excavation sites behind them, with some actual archeologists working in the background. Some of them were shots of the sites themselves, with either part or none of the group in pictured. Ethan was . . . fond of the memories, but showing them to a stranger was really awkward. As the girl browsed the picture, Ethan glanced over to her bird, willfully ignoring his powers, which wanted to reach out and talk to the thing. Anyways, it was still just staring. At least it was well behaved.
After a moment, Ethan decided that making sure their conversation stayed on the club, and her potentially joining, was a good idea. "A-anyways, we usually go on a handful of field trips a year. We try not to go anywhere we went the year before, but when you're a sophomore or junior, we could always revisit some of these areas if they interest you." His face was still a little red, but talking about the club helped him gather his composure. He was tempted to go into the temples he'd been researching over the summer, but didn't want to unload too much info on her at once.

They must have had something special about them for Nammii to pay such fierce attention to them. She normally wasn't interested in any body other than Snow. When Ethan spoke again, it caused Snow to pause for a moment. Wait, what? Why is he talking about me? Snow thought, thinking back on what she said. She realized her mistake-- "Oh, I uh, I forgot a word. I meant, um, I can move Nammii for you. I-if you want me to," she corrected, her face flushed red.
When Snow asked her question about the field trips and pictures, the deer person's face turned a bright red. Snow cocked her head to the side, unsure what about her question would cause the person to blush. Maybe they didn't know the answer? But their following words contradicted that thought, as they vaguely answered about dig sites and temples, and said that there were pictures. They reached into their backpack and pulled out a binder, their face even redder than before. Snow began to glance at the pictures, and her eye caught on a figure with antlers and long hair. Before she could even ask if it was the deer person's sister or something, they answered that it was them from when they had longer hair.
This did nothing to satisfy Snow's earlier question on if they were male or female. The pictures showed the deer person wearing somewhat feminine clothing, but they certainly seemed embarrassed about it now. She began to flip through the pictures, the same group of six posed in front of various different dig sites, and sometimes dig sites without anyone at all. As she perused the pictures, Nammii took one hop closer to the deer person and let off a soft crow. "Nammii, leave them alone," Snow said absently, gently pushing her crow to the edge of the table. Nammii ruffled her feathers as if mildly offended, before taking off and flying away somewhere. Snow was unconcerned, and simply finished looking at all the pictures in the binder.
When Snow was done looking at the pictures, she looked up at the deer person as they talked about the field trip policy, and how they never visited the same place twice. Snow frowned a little at this, disappointed. That meant that all these cool looking places in the pictures they probably wouldn't go to. The deer person further elaborated though, saying that they could revisit areas. "Ah, so, so there's a chance that we, um, could go back to the places in these pictures?" Snow asked. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: Sorry if this isn't the best? I got like 6 hours of sleep last night)) ((outfit: same as picture)) ((toeto))

Ethan blinked as the girl seemed to get a little confused and flustered over his response. Did he say something weird? As she spoke, it made sense. She'd meant to say she could move Nammii. "That's uh, the bird?" The mistake was apparently enough of an embarrassment to cause her to blush. Ahhh, she was really cute. Ethan glanced over to the bird instead. Nammi, apparently. Er, making eye contact with the bird was somehow even more awkward.
Ethan looked back to the girl as she looked at the pictures. This was kinda awful. He'd done his darn best to imply that he wasn't a girl, but hey wow who knew what the heck was going on through this chick's head? He was kinda tempted to just butt in and say "hey yeah, I'm trans." Not because she needed to know, but just, it would be so much easier. He didn't mind if she knew, but having it be the first thing she knew about him, even before his name, just felt wrong. It wasn't the most important thing about him.
His thoughts were interrupted by a soft crowing. There didn't seem to any real meaning behind it as far as Ethan could tell. He stared at the bird, a little curious as to how interested it was in him. Most animals gave up after being ignored for a bit, but not Nammii. The girl butted in, telling Nammii to leave him, er them, alone. Ethan held in a sigh as Nammii flew away. Yeah, this girl still had no idea about Ethan's gender. It was nice that she wasn't assuming but, yeah. "Ah, I use he/him pronouns. I'm uh, Ethan by the way." Well, that was about the trans-est way possible to say he was a boy. At least she knew his name?
Anyways, at least she seemed interested in the idea of going back to the places in the pictures. "Yeah. I wouldn't mind going back to any of these places next year. This year though, there are some really old temples I'm looking to visit. I'll have to run it by some advisors, but I'm hoping we'll be visiting the ruins of Springhaven first. Most people focus on the leftovers of the battle, but there's a temple there that was already ancient even back then." Some long gone upperclassman had some ideas about the temple and that battle 800 years ago, but it wasn't anything written in the history books. Either way, the temple was overlooked, like a lot, since everyone was always much more interested in stuff having to do with the war.

"Yeah, that's uh, her,"she said, her face still flushed. Shortly afterwards she had told Nammii to leave the person alone, and the bird flew off. That was when the deer person properly introduced themselves to Snow. Ethan. That was a really nice name, although the bit about the pronouns was a little confusing to her. Just giving her his name would have been enough, but she didn't necessarily mind.
Snow extended her hand out and gave Ethan what she hoped was a confident smile. "Hello Ethan. My name is Snow," she introduced to him. He then began to explain about some of the places he wanted to visit this year, like old temples, one of which was in Spring Haven. That name brought a fond memory to Snow's head--her father had been quite a war buff, and was always telling her stories about the Phantom War. He'd always wanted to visit the ruins of Springhaven, but there was never enough money in the budget. She hadn't known that there was some kind of ancient temple there, however.
"That sounds, uh, really, uh, cool, actually!" she said to Ethan. "My dad, um, always wanted to-to visit Springhaven, so I think that would be, uh, a fun trip to go on! Do you have, um, any sign up sheets?" Snow asked. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: For anyone reading this after, Snow has no idea about anything besides cisgender. Ethan Wishart If there is no place for me in this world, I will create my own.
I am here: club booths I am with: Snow I feel: the big moment!
Ah, that went over well. The girl greeted him with his name and introduced herself. It felt nice to hear his name coming out of a stranger's mouth. The smile on his face was probably a big bigger than it reasonably needed to be. Flushing a bit, he shook Snow's hand. It was a bit cold to the touch. That, with her hair and name, got him a little curious. She seemed kinda like, ice themed. He wondered if it had anything to do with whatever abilities or magic she had, but he didn't want to pry, as he didn't like talking about his own powers. Realizing he'd gone way too long without saying anything, Ethan quickly responded, "A-ah, it's nice to meet you too, Snow." He'd gone from a goofy smile to silently inspecting her. She probably thought he was some kinda weirdo now.
Luckily the mention of Springhaven caught her interest. Apparently her father had always wanted to visit. He probably had an interest in war stuff then? She even asked about sign up sheets. "Oh! Uh, yes. We do." Ethan was a little surprised he'd gotten her interested that quickly. He went for his backpack again, searching for the sheets. He honestly hadn't thought he'd be pulling them out tonight.
Papers in hand, Ethan turned to face Snow again. He set it down on the table of the booth, along with a pen. It was just a list, asking for a name and student ID number. There were a couple of pages to the list, but Ethan doubted he'd be needing them. "I'm glad you're planning on joining. Though uh, the field trip isn't guaranteed yet. To Springhaven, I mean. We'll go somewhere of course, I just have to talk to the advisor and headmistress about it first." Oh, and there was one more thing. "And uh, some of the other clubs are going to start doing joint field trips with us. I think the uh, hiking and cooking clubs will probably be coming with us?" To be honest, Ethan didn't really remember all the clubs that would be involved. But, he figured Snow ought to know that she had options. Not that he wanted her to leave, but if she found out after the fact that she could have gone on the field trips with another club, she might not be too happy.

He seemed incredibly happy for Snow saying his own name. He was silent for a short amount of time, subtly glancing at Snow's hand and then her white hair. Was her hand cold? Her dad had always said that she'd never seemed to recover her body heat after being buried in the snow. She hoped that she didn't feel like ice--that would be really embarrassing, regardless of her name. After a moment Ethan seemed to shake himself out of his reverie, and said that it was nice to meet her too.
She asked about the sign up sheets, and Ethan responded saying that did indeed have some. "Great!" she said enthusiastically, watching as Ethan rummaged through his backpack again. He pulled out the list and a pen, and placed it in front of Snow. There were several pages, but not even a single one had been signed yet. Which made sense, considering that Ethan had it stuffed into his backpack. Maybe as the day continued, more people would come and sign up? Snow signed her name and put her student ID number in their respective places, and listened as Ethan named off other clubs that would be going on field trips alongside the Archaeology club. "Oh, that uh, sounds interesting!"
Before Snow could elaborate further, she heard the voice of the tea club booth person call out to her. "Miss, sorry to bother you, but the tea is ready now!" they said. Snow gave a small smile to Ethan and said "I'll be right back." She walked back over to the tea booth, grabbed two cups of tea, and thanked the person. She then scurried back over to the Archaeology booth, offering one of the cups of tea to Ethan. "So with the, uh, other clubs attending field trips to the same, um, areas, that means if I'm not particularly interested in, uh, one group's activity, I can still-still go with another group?" she asked, taking a sip of the tea. She was pleased to find that she was correct in her thinking earlier, and that the tea tasted so much more delicious when it was heated up properly. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: )) ((outfit: same as picture)) ((toeto))

Ethan Wishart If there is no place for me in this world, I will create my own.
I am here: I am with: I feel:
Ah, Snow hadnโt really seemed to care about him spacing out there. That was good. Ethan wanted to make a good first impression on her. As uh, a club captain of course. After setting out the list, maybe heโd leave it out in case anyone else came by, Ethan smiled and waited while Snow wrote her name down. Delacore was her last name apparently. That was kinda pretty. Anyways, now seemed like a good time to say something, โGreat! Welcome to club, Snow.โ
Ethan wasnโt sure what Snow thought of the other clubs attending their field trips. Her tone seemed enthusiastic, but her word choice kind of implied that she had mixed feelings. As long as the idea of other clubs going on cool trips didnโt have her running off to join them, Ethan was fine. Before they could continue, the person from the tea booth had finished brewing some tea. Oh yeah, Snow had been looking at the tea club originally. While Snow was getting her tea, Ethan leaned out towards them and mouthed a silent โsorryโ at them. Ethan had no idea how popular the tea club was, but heโd totally just stolen a member. And as happy as he was to have her, he did feel slightly bad for his unsportsmanlike recruiting tactics.
When Snow turned around, she had two tea cups, and offered one to Ethan. What an angel. Ethan was quick to put the book heโd been reading earlier back into his backpack. He did not want to spill tea on that.
Once he was ready, he took a sip of the tea. Dang, the tea club knew what they were doing. โThanks for grabbing me a cup, Snow.โ He took another sip. โHm, I might swing by the tea club every now and then actually.โ Drinkable advertising sure was effective. It was a good thing heโd already gotten Snow to sign the sign up sheet.
Ah, but they werenโt here to drink tea, of course. Snow was quick to return to business. She had a question about the field trip and the other clubs. Ethan was silent for a moment, not sure what she was asking at first. Did she mean that she could join another club and go on the trips? Or just ditch her club for a day? โYou mean like, joining another clubโs group for the duration of the field trip?โ Ethan actually wasnโt too sure about that actually. It didnโt seem like something that mattered though? โUh, donโt quote me on this, but I donโt think thatโd be a problem, as long as any advisers and chaperons know where you are.โ Ethan couldnโt see why not, but the faculty would have their reasons if they wanted everyone to stick with their groups. Itโd be easier to keep track of everyone, at least.

โญ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ซ๐ฑ โจ๐ฆ๐ฉ ๐๐ถ๐ค๐ฒ๐ฐ ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ฌ๐ช๐ฌ๐ซ ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผ xxxxLocation: Festival - Club Booths xxxxCompany: Ethan & Some girl xxxxOoC/OST: Puzzles and Secrets at a Club Booth
The Count started his mourning routine normally, visiting all 200 of his animals scattered around campus and making sure they had food for the day before moving on to the next one. Some of the animals travels with him but most of them went about their business. They all had names but he would never speak them in the open based on previous superstitions that he held. For being in such a scientific age, the elf was an odd sort. Using older magic and keeping to the more mysterious aspects of the world as he tried to prepare the next generation of elves for their future. Though he was fairly young all things considered and has his life ahead of him. That's what his father kept telling him and encouraging him to find some nice girl that would age well with him. He was an overbearing man who was somehow the head of a noble house despite his overbearing nature.
He had the luxury of taking it slowly today because of the festival and Zil was enjoying a walk on one of the school roofs while he watched the vendors and club booths from a distance. His brother's red hair stuck out like a sore thumb in the crowd. It was a bit odd thinking that some one nearly 70 years younger than him as family, but that's how it was. Zil loved the brat but he was just that, a brat still. He was barely even into his second decade. The wind caught the Count's cape, pulling on the chain that held it around him causing the man to turn his back into the wind. It was being playful today, the wind that was. It had already tried to drop leaves into his face and now licked at his clothes and hair. He was so close, and yet so far from being able to grasp it, but his hand closed around nothing, the breeze escaping to flow through the booths down below.
That's when a familiar face caught his attention in the distance. The president was at it already. Soliciting with pictures and some stories about the trips no doubt. As long as he didn't talk about some of the other 'extra-circular' activities the clubs did that was fine. Watching him for a few minutes and some other girl interact he was sure that Ethan had lost a member before the white haired girl returned. Not only apt with ruins but with people too. Well if nothing else Zil should go say hello and make sure everything was in order. Patting the doves that were near him lightly the count quietly floated down from the roof to the ground, hidden for the most part by a tree and the shadows of the school.
Zil would have taken the stairs but he was unsure how long the new member would stick around to talk if they wanted to explore the festival, so time was of the essence. Zil made his way through the crowd picking up a small batch of roasted vegetables to munch on while he walked. He arrive within earshot soon enough to catch the tail the girls comment and Ethan's response. Deciding to ignore it for the moment the elf made his way behind the booth, patting Ethan on the head as he did so to rummage through what they had behind there. There should have been a replica that he had given the president to show potential members.
There were murmurs in elvish as he worked, something about tombs and puzzle doors but nothing concrete until the teacher gave up and looked to Ethan with a perplexed look on his face. "Ethan, did you bring the Draponian puzzle key replica? Or did one of the other club members take it out to try to pull members in?" Zil said as he started to put everything back in it's proper oder. It wasn't that the teacher was intentionally ignoring the girl in front of the booth but he needed to sell the point of what the club did when not taking notes or studying the purpose of ruins, and that was actually making them work. Zil had a little sparkle in his eye that Ethan would know was dangerously close to 'Ruin Mode' but the girl might see as passion for something.
Letting out a soft sigh the elf would straighten up and look to the girl, introducing himself. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, I am Count Solomon, one of the teachers at this institution and advisor to the Archeology Club." Zil said with a practiced smile, before tuning back to Ethan. "And if we don't have the replica, what about the polycarbonate tablet we 'acquired' from our expedition this summer? That should be fine to carry around."

๐๐๐๐ถ๐ธ๐๐๐ I am here: Archaeology club booth With: Ethan, Zil "One day, I'll be able to brave the world" โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Snow gave Ethan a shy smile as he welcomed her to the club. "Thank you, Ethan," she said to him, before hearing the sound of the tea booth person call her over. She returned with the tea, and it was Ethan's turn to thank her. "You're very welcome," Snow said, gesturing her small disposable tea cup at him like she was giving a toast. She sat savoring the tea for a moment, before returning to the subject at hand: clubs. She asked Ethan about going on trips with other clubs, and was listening intently to his reply when another man showed up.
He was incredibly tall to Snow's perception, standing nearly a foot above her. Snow watched the red-haired man as he made his way behind the booth, giving Ethan an affectionate pat on the head. Snow couldn't help but watch the elegant man as he rummaged around the booth, speaking in a language she didn't understand. The ruffling sound of feathers and a sudden pressure on her shoulder brought Snow out of watching the man, instead turning to her shoulder, where Nammii had perched once again. "Ah, welcome back," she murmured to the bird, giving it a small pat on the head. Snow returned her attention to Ethan, realizing now that an awkward amount of time had passed, and she hadn't responded to what he said.
She opened her mouth to respond, only to be interrupted by the sound of the red haired man's voice. He asked Ethan about some Drapponian puzzle key replica. Snow's head cocked to the side, her eyes lighting up. She wanted to ask what exactly that was, but the man continued talking to Ethan, asking if another student had taken it out to show people. She watched him as he meticulously arranged everything in the booth, and then she turned her attention back to Ethan. "That's uh, cool um, about the clubs. I'm uh, kind of in-interested in the uh, the cooking club," she said.
She heard a soft sigh come from the man, and she turned her attention back towards him. For the first time since he had gotten there, he finally acknowledged Snow's presence. He introduced himself as Count Solomon, a professor and the adviser of the Archaeology club. Well, that would explain why he was asking Ethan all kinds of questions. Snow almost stuck out her hand to shake his, but after a twitch she noticed that he had not offered. Leaving her arm down, she instead offered him her name: "Uh, nice to um, nice to meet you, Professor Count Solomon. My-my name is Snow Delacore," Snow managed to stutter out, her face red in embarrassment. She hoped the professor didn't notice, as his attention had been reverted back to Ethan, asking about a polycarbonate tablet. She wasn't entirely sure what that meant, but she was sure it would be something interesting to look at. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: really crap post, sorry)) ((outfit: same as picture)) ((toeto))

A puzzle-key is carefully held while Ethi walks around minimally, talking to people-- Healthy / Energy - 100%-- At the club booth area-- Various people and Ihauhe-- Link-- A Drapponian puzzle replica and several fliers-- First post for her!--||Text, 'Thought', "Speech", Other|| ---- Her pace, when she had been going at earlier on, hadnโt lasted too long, if it could be considered much of a walk at all: for good reasoning. The puzzle key still wasnโt that much to carry, yet Ethi still made sure not to run into anyone while she shifted her gait, staying where she was at this time in overall terms. More than a few people, earlier on, had stopped to see what was being shown off, as part of the Archeology Club. The current group, while not as much as others, still held their attention as she spoke. Where she was now wasnโt too much of a distance from the booth. Ethi mostly had taken a gradual drift as her path. This was in knowing better than to walk too far off, in the idea that it could get stolen - that was more likely in busier crowds, which were more frequent out towards the walkways between booth areas.
Currently, the rabbit was nearby a couple other people: mostly, the conversation was one-sided. Ethi was overall explaining the details behind the Archeology club: mostly trips planned that were already completely decided on, besides earlier ones - and what each one had been meant for - that was better to talk about in detail, hopefully. The trips themselves were for looking to history and cultural backgrounds. Even with the fact that everything couldnโt be covered, in her current attentive stance; Ethi was mostly sure she was explaining things well as she went from one topic to another โ... Ruins are full of intricacies. Not everything is straightforward or completely obvious to outside observers. They hold challenges and information, which can include puzzles like this one.โ Holding it up higher and with more apparency, it wasnโt offered to the people listening. Despite that it was technically a replica, it still would be a huge loss if it went missing, which was still important to avoid.
Letting the few people ahead of her look over the copy for half a minute, it was then moved as she lowered her arm, letting it rest more at her side. โThe Archeology club focuses on studying ruins and objects like these, through frequent field trips out to different areas.โ While most were already explored, somewhat defying a few expectations of earlier on people, it hadnโt been enough to tone down their interest. There had been at most several ruins she had been to while taking classes here, and these hadnโt been entirely gone through in detail. Giving a description of something wasnโt the same as being there in the first place, that was figured out after her first couple attempts at attracting members. This time around, she was being more forward in participating, although still knew enough to hold her guard there; for her overall person and inventory, Ihauhe included, who was sleeping on her shoulder, partly out of sight from and overshadowed by Ethiโs right ear and hair. The people she had been talking to shortly went by, saying they would decide later whether to join. Ethi nodded and thanked them, then looked off to the side as she waited for a few more people to go by, in case anyone else stopped out of interest. The fliers currently being held in her other hand made it clear what group she was representing; if given at least a momentโs glance. --- By MerryMinty - Link to art shop

Ethan Wishart If there is no place for me in this world, I will create my own.
I am here: Archeology booth I am with: Snow, Professor Solomon I feel: haha we didn't steal that lmao what are you talking about
Things seemed to be going pretty well with Snow. They were drinking tea and she had signed the club papers. Ethan wasnโt really sure what to say next. He didnโt really think heโd get even this far. Before he could think of anything, Professor Solomon showed up, wordlessly walking behind the booth after patting his head. Ethan smiled and moved aside, letting him mess with the booth. He liked Professor Solomon, but knew not to get in his way. He listened to him mumble in Elvish, not really able to make anything out. He'd been learning the language over the past year at school, with help from Psyna at home. Anyways, it was something about tombs, which, well yeah. Made sense, given who was doing the mumbling.
While that was going on, Ethan glanced over to Snow, intending to make some sort of nonverbal communication, maybe a smile or shrug or something to imply that this sort of behavior wasnโt too out of the ordinary. When he noticed that Nammii had returned though, he was quick to look away, not wanting to draw her attention again.
At that point Professor Solomon spoke up, asking about the Drapponian puzzle key. Ethan's posture straightened slightly as he was addressed, though he didnโt seem to notice his reaction. The professor's guess as to the key's whereabouts were right on the mark. โYep! Ethi is uh, doing exactly that with it actually.โ After getting his answer, he went right back to arranging things. Ethan held in a sigh. The Professor had that look in his eye again. Hopefully he didnโt scare Snow off.
While he was doing that, Snow spoke up, mentioning something about the cooking club. Uh, hmm. Ethan didnโt want to start talking about other clubs while the professor was right there, but he didnโt want to be too dismissive of her question either. โOh, the cooking club is neat. Uh, good vegetarian dishes if youโre into that. Pretty sure they meet on a different day than us too.โ Ethan did hold the club in high regard actually. They occasionally invited people to try their food, and it was usually delicious. As for his diet, he wasnโt sure if his stomachโs disagreement with meat had anything to do with his antlers or heritage or whatever, but sticking to plants and such tended to be a smart move for him.
Shortly after Ethan finished responding, Professor Solomon sighed and stopped messing with the booth, finally addressing Snow, who called him Professor Count Solomon after their introductions. Ethan suppressed a small smile, finding it kind of funny, but not wanting to seem like he making fun of her or anything.
He switched gears pretty rapidly again, returning his attention to Ethan. Professor Solomon was asking about that tablet that theyโd uh, well, โacquiredโ was actually a pretty good word for it. โOh, yeah. That oneโs in my backpack. Didnโt want to have it lying out since-โ Ethan paused. Snow was right there. He smiled and continued casually, โwell, you know, itโs one of the rarer pieces. Donโt want just anyone touching it.โ Yeah, that made sense probably. Ethan leaned down to his backpack and rummaged through it briefly before producing the tablet. He placed it down on the boothโs table, so Snow could see it, or to let the Professor have at it if he wanted.
