Personality: Simon is very ambitious, though some may describe him as cruel and Machiavellian. He never lets anyone get in the way of what he wants. Frequently he uses mind games to accomplish this or to simply toy with someone for his own amusement. The majority of people see him as charming but mostly this is an expertly fabricated facade. He often sees others as beneath him, especially his patients. However those who he considers equal to him or above, Simon treats them with nothing but respect. Of course, this doesn't apply to the ones that gave him a reason to hate them.

Biography: Worked as a surgeon back when the hotel was still an asylum in the late 1940's. When he was young Simon received training as a doctor in the field, treating soldiers on the battlefield. A bullet injury left him unfit for duty and thus he left Europe and settled for working in the asylum. The lax laws and secrecy gave him ample opportunity to abuse his power. He soon began experimenting on his patients against their will. Forcing many to be infected with diseases, undergo unnecessary surgery or have to endure endless psychological abuse. Despite his inhumane methods, he truly believed his work gave society's rejects a purpose. Their suffering would would contribute to an invaluable amount of knowledge, for the betterment of the sane. Simon died when a group of Patients escaped then began releasing as many mentally ill inmates as they could. A riot ensued and Simon was mauled to death and partially eaten by lunatics and those seeking revenge. As a spirit he's been haunting the hotel for decades. It's rumoured that Simon punishes the guests who hold a resemblance to his former patients.
