- Altered Cognition: Ja-Jimsha perceives the world in a different state. Ja-Jimsha looks at the world as if it's moving at 1/2 speed. This is due to accelerated cognition and perception. The boy can perceive objects the normal eye cannot and react to them just as quickly. This also means that pain and mental unrest plague him in more intense situations.
Levitate: Ja-Jimsha can point at objects to make them float. Fast, small objects are harder for the boy to hit.
Leviathan: Ja-Jimsha, when using this hereditary skill has access to a cartoonish amount energy. It could be classified as mana, ether, or psychic power due to it's ability to fuel a wide range of abilities. For Ja-Jimsha who only knows how to make things levitate, it's simply a way for him to float around of use the levitate skill in offensive or defensive manners. Unable to channel the energy into a proper source, Leviathan exhausts Ja-Jimsha when used for prolonged periods.

Personality |
- The best way to describe the vicomte is with his title. He's quite stuck up and spoiled to no end. He views most people as objects or simply as an obstacle that money can solve. Full of pride in his family name, it is one of the few things that he has any honor about. The rest of the time interacting with the young master is a pain in everyones a**. There are two people he treats with respect, his nanny who raised him since he was young. The woman who is practically his mother for all intents and purposes, can command Ja-Jimsha with a word. The second is his younger sister, whom he dotes on regularly.
History |
- Ja-Jimsha is the second in line, and heir to the Solomon family, the ones who are currently part of the ruling council of Braela. Ja-jimsha's father, Duke Baelfor Solomon VIII, is the head of the family. The duke is deeply involved in the political affairs and discusions that occur in Braela. With Ja-Jimsha being the second in line, he was given the title of vicomte as his brother would be inheriting the duchy first. Fed with a literal silver spoon as a child the boy wanted for nothing. The best tutors and toys were provided for the boy as he interacted with the niche world of nobility. The family would make weekly trips to Caleum for Ja-Jimsha to visit his brother and some times they would stay in a small villa that was cramped onto the floating city. It wasn't much compared to what home was for the young master but he adored it more for the view it had across the sky. As a child, the young master followed his older brother everywhere and tried to emulate the man. It was soon apparent however that Ja-Jimsha had inherited a very different set of skills than his brother, who excelled at making uses of the family prowess. Ja-Jimsha had an excellent mind and reaction time but was unable to use both of them to cope against his brothers vast ability, physically and mentally.
Put off by this development, the young master started to act off on his own, rebelling against his family wishes and often causing trouble in an attempt to get attention. His brother was always in the spotlight with discoveries or contributions to society in some way. Ja-Jimsha didn't really get how work and effort played into his brothers achievements, just that his brother was amazing, and he wasn't. In some of his rebellious phases the young nobel ventured out of the quarter where the villa was on Caelum, into the university to try to learn more. It worked to a certain degree and he was praised for how advanced he was for his age, when he was really just memorizing words, not understanding their meaning. Back at home Ja-Jimsha would delve deep into the forest into older ruins that remained from ages past. Here he just got scolded for venturing into dangerous areas. He also mimicked peoples arguments that he read or listened to, trying to make their points his own on why he should have ice cream or a dragon as a pet. Neither worked out too well. Ja-Jimsha would soon venture out of the 'civil' districts to the poor and industrial areas of the ship that was his playground. Already versed in navigating ruins as a kid these older parts of Caelum were fascinating to him.
The underbelly of the ship and parts of it that were forgotten or sealed off became the vicomte's playground. He practiced maneuvers on the ruins on the ground near Braela, then employed them on the ship. He had no sense of fear. On the ship he came in touch with danger a few times and rather a perilous walk ways that could have killed him had he made a wrong step. By the time he was 9, he had already developed the family trait of accelerated perception and thinking, he was also working on accessing some of his other skills. During these risky explorations, the young nobel found something, passages that he couldn't climb into or that he could even levitate down. There was something odd about these passages. For the next few years, Ja-Jimsha worked on trying to research these holes and making gear (from decorative 'tools' they had around the mansion) in order to explore them.
During one of these explorations, the vicomte managed to get into a hole by falling down slightly. The hole neutralized his levitate skill as soon as he passed through it and he felt like it was draining him of power. Luckily he had also tied ropes to various pipes and walkways that acted as an anchor for him. He descended into the hole and found nothing. There was an intricate labyrinth of tunnels that drained all magic and energy from objects he had. There was one kind of cool place that had a large walkway around nothing, and a giant hole in the bottom like something that had once been held there had been ripped out. As he looked down to the surface the railing Ja-jimsha was leaning on, collapsed letting him fall out of the floating city. As he fell, the child touched something. He couldn't be sure if it was physically, mentally, spiritually, however it was he got something. It didn't stop him from falling out of the city but once he was out of whatever influence kept him from using skills he was able to tap into what felt like and over abundance of energy. Using this, and his levitate skill, Ja-jimsha was able to float back up to a place he could kind of hang onto. From there going was slow but he eventually got on an outside walkway and went back to the solid parts of the flying city.
Returning empty handed, but with a new respect for the city and interested in this development he wanted to research the phenomena. Ja-jimsha was hesitant about following his brothers foot steps, and perhaps for the first time in his life he thought about his future and what it could hold. He would eventually unlock the hereditary skills his family had, and while the university in Caelum was a great place for research it was too much in his brothers shadow. If he wanted to make a name for himself other than his family title and name, he needed to break off from the little world that consisted of a single forest and a single sky. Ja-jimsha had never been around other parts of the world before... but apparently there was a renowned school from ages past that he could enroll in. With help from his Nanny who still cared for him, Ja-jimsha sent paperwork to the school to transfer in.
