Rosa Li' Denosé Broken Crown B Ranked Mage: "Enchantress"
Rosa. Rosa the alarm is going off. Nnnnnnoooooo... No it's not... Shut it off...
The snapping sound that resonated throughout the hall startled even Rosa, who usually appeared before the sound. For once, however, both she and Ale appeared seated or standing respectively on the floor of the room. With a surprised and pleased little squeal, Rosa pumped her hands up into the air. "...YES!!! ******** YES I DID IT RIGHT FOR ONCE!!! ******** YOU, UNRELIABLE SPELL! HAHAHAHHA!!!"
...man you're so easily excitable. Still so cute when you're like this. Heh! Oh hush. You're just as tired of appearing above things as I am! The two shared a smile, reveling in the success in their own ways and for their own reasons.
"So! To the kitchen so I can make dinner, you wonderful disaster of a sous chef. Hehehe!" And she rolled off into the kitchen, pulling out pots, pans, and dishes of a multitude of uses and shapes. Some she pulled out to just confuse Ale and test her progress in the kitchen overall. She wanted them to be friends one day, but she couldn't force it. No better way to try and forge a friendship than by just being yourself, after all.
Rosa? Rosa, come on, answer me. I know you can hear me. No. Tired. Lemme sleep.
As her feet touched the floor of the castle Alessandra would hear the cheer of Rosa. It wasn't often the blonde traveled with the red head and by the sounds of it it seemed like the spell was pretty hard to make accurate. She was glad to have been able to not have to fall from whatever height the spell would have picked. "Well congrats on landing how you wanted." Alessandra offered as kindly as she could to Rosa, the castle was already draining any shred of happiness that the blonde was feeling. Shifting the bags in her arms the angel mage followed over Rosa, "I'll put things away then head to a town closer to the water or a river to pick up books since I wasn't able to get any on our trip. It should be cooler in those parts... hopefully." Alessandra stated plainly as she began packing what she could away. Seeing some of what Rosa picked up the blonde wondered what exactly she would be making but decided best not to ask. The blonde knew better than to be involved in anything cooking related, she didn't want to make Evelyn mad or any of the other guild members. It was the last thing on her list to be smashed into the floor or dragged away from making terrible food. Instead the blonde would stick to cleaning around the castle and delivering things to those doing the orders of their guild master.
Once the food and other goods they had were put away Alessandra turned to Rosa, "If there isn't anything else you need help with I'll head off then. Best I don't stay in the kitchen and try to help. Less the food ends up tasting awful and I doubt either of us will want to go shopping again." The blonde stated before continuing, "If there is anything you would like me to get while I'm there please let me know and I can pick it up. I don't plan on being done for long." Alessandra stated, she figured she would be back before dinner was totally finished or at least some time just after. It wasn't a big deal though, she always got nervous being in the room with the rest of the guild and all eating dinner. The blonde much preferred to have her dinner alone while reading her books, it was the best way for her to relax and escape the dark castle. Though this was something she didn't dare confess to anyone and if asked she would just respond with that she was just busy and wanting to finish her chores before eating. If she got an answer from Rosa then the blonde would make a mental note before heading to the doors. Opening then She would step outside before casting one of her souls, Nathaniel. Wide red and white wings spread as her clothing shifted and changed. The pink skirt she was wearing changed to white shorts while her mainly white shirt was turned to red with silver armor covering her chest and shoulders. A white long white cloth rolled down from behind the blonde which flowed gently in the wind of the cold mountains they were in. With one step Alessandra pushed off, her wings stoked widely and powerfully, picking the girl up from he ground. With that the Angle soul mage took off to the first town that she could think of.

✶ Turning swiftly on her heel, Evelyn would exit the room first. She could not leave it fast enough and once she had, she would sigh in relief. There was much work to be done; the servants would definitely be busy. The woman straightened her posture and proceeded down the hall with the princesses in tow. She was doing her best not to laugh at the girl's rebuttal of the Magic Council trying to do their job. Given that they could not currently see her face helped. There was simply too much for them to do that they could not do one thing efficiently. With the council spread so thin, it was no wonder they couldn't manage things properly. And it seemed Mizuki, as keen as ever, had discerned the purpose behind the attacks on the guilds. It was as she said: by destroying the guilds, she aimed to weaken and agitate them. In their rage, they will seek vengeance on the ones who harmed them; completely blinded by their hatred and desire to avenge those lost. Love was a concept the woman rejected, but she understood it well; well enough that she knew which strings to pull to manipulate someone's heart. Right now, the guilds were still recovering, anger burning in their chests with no where to direct it. But when their target becomes clear, they will plan and strike with such a fury! And when they did, Evelyn would finally acquire what it was she desired with little opposition. The princess was correct, but this was also to show Fiore the flaw of their little wizard guild system. "Your cleverness never ceases to amaze, Princess Mizuki" she would reply to her accusation.
Princess Chloe also amazed her, but not fondly. It seemed she was still trying to threaten her, this time with the Kingdom of Eridani. Perhaps because she felt weak and afraid in this situation, her childish taunts and attempts to intimidate her captor was a means to regain some control. Charming as it was, it would do her no good. Not even Eridani threatened her; for once they discovered the truth, it would all be over. The empress stopped as they reached another, larger corridor to make sure the two were keeping up. Taking a left, they would proceed to the dining room. "Do you not cut your cheek with that tongue? I fear it is a greater danger to you than anyone else" she remarked to Chloe's comment on the cooking. Only the best cooks prepared the meals in this castle. Lily was one such cook, once it was agreed that no tampering with the food was to be done. It had only been a day, yet she missed the woman's antics already. "And to answer your question, yes. It may be some time that you have to stay here, but I ask that you remain patient. Rosa will take good care of you both, so I expect you to do the same. Do not take her compassion for weakness" she warned them as they at last arrived in the dining room. There were a couple maids who were cleaning the room, but stood at attention and bowed when the ladies entered the room. "Ah, here we are. Please, have a seat." Evelyn of course would take her seat at the head of the table, one of the maids helping her into her chair. The maids would assist the princesses as well once they had chosen their seats. "I do have to ask, Princess Mizuki. How is it...that you know I was behind the guild attacks? I suppose you have every reason to suspect, though you accuse with certainty in your voice" she asked curiously. It had not come up in conversation prior to then, yet she seemed so certain she knew who the culprit was. It was not possible...that she could be getting information from somewhere, could she? Perhaps she was just extremely confident in her assumption. Perhaps that slight fluctuation in her magic earlier was just a trick of the mind. Perhaps Evelyn was just a little paranoid. But then, that was a lot of "perhaps" for the empress to not be suspicious, especially when she was well aware of this princess' craftiness. She was to be watched closely...
The Eridani princess frowned. Her teal orbs locked onto the woman striding ahead of them. She admits it with no qualm whatsoever, she noted with anger. Evelyn did not seem to care for the destruction and chaos she caused. Did not demonstrate an ounce of remorse for the innocent lives forever changed by her and her guild’s actions. Nor did she fear retribution from the Magic Council or armies of Fiore and Eridani. Whatever her plan, the woman was confident in her eventual triumph. Her composure in the face of their accusations spoke to it. “She doesn’t care,” Mizuki looked to Chloe, “She’s planned for this day. She’s probably accounted for hundreds of paths these actions of hers could take. I think she’s hoping that the guilds and our kingdoms will attack.” And why should she not? With the guilds in danger and their focus elsewhere, the defenses of the kingdom would be weakened. Evelyn would be able to implement her plans with little opposition. Any that remained would be easily offset by Chloe’s and her presence. As much as the Fiore princess wished to believe the kingdoms would come to their aid, Mizuki understood there to be little chance they would march on the woman while they were in clear danger. Yet, the younger princess did not believe their captivity to be solely for the purpose of hostage. What more use could she have of us? The haze in her mind made it difficult to expound on such thoughts. Though she felt relief upon recognizing her connection to Leo and the other Spirits remained active, despite its waning behind the sealing magic of the cuffs. Once she deciphered or learned of Evelyn’s motives, her link would be paramount in two distinct ways. She would not only be able to let those in her guild know of the blonde’s endeavors, but she would hopefully be able to remove her friend from danger.
The empress walked at a clipped pace. Her steps confident and assured in the maze of corridors and doorways rife in her castle. Mizuki attempted to remember every turn taken, every twist encountered. A difficult effort to be certain, given the overwhelming size. She would not be dissuaded, however. Learning every aspect of one’s surroundings was an important part of developing strategy. Which is precisely why she was content to listen to any remarks made between Evelyn and Chloe for the time being. Let the woman distract herself with the brunette’s antics while the bluenette studied and observed. Although, she did keep her attention somewhat attuned to the conversation lest she miss important information. Information such as the name of their supposed “caretaker” and her purported compassion. “Was she involved with the attacks? If so, then I would not assume her compassionate,” she spoke as she felt. Anyone whom would willingly obey this woman and see the guilds brought down could not possibly hold much compassion in her heart. Another juncture found them setting foot into a rather large corridor, where Evelyn took a prompt left turn. It was not too much longer they saw their journey end in the desired location of the dining room. Mizuki grimaced uncomfortably at the way the maids bowed upon their entry. Her gaze swept over the room, taking in the grandeur of it, before flicking back to the empress whom had taken her seat at the head of the table. The Celestial Spirit mage lingered next to her fellow prisoner. A seat at the table of this woman was not appealing nor inviting. Yet it almost seemed mandatory. Breathing a sigh of resignation, the Eridani princess chose to seat herself to the left of the blonde. It took a distinguished effort not to slap the maids’ hands away while they assisted.
Once situated, Mizuki took note of where Chloe and Blue sat in relation to herself and Evelyn. It was a trivial detail, but important to her nonetheless. She then allowed her gaze to drift once more, denoting the lack of visible windows in this room as well. A peculiar motif she had witnessed in their jaunts around the castle. Her head snapped back. Eyes meeting those of the woman. She schooled her expression to where a mild hint of surprise showed through, but nothing more. After all, would not a small amount of surprise be adequate when being asked a surprising question? She wanted it to be the case. “I overheard the townspeople discussing the attacks before your arrival in Balsam,” Mizuki explained. “With your method of bringing me here, it took little effort to connect the dots. Anyone would draw the same conclusion I have. Even Chloe.” Her last statement was not meant as a slight to her friend but, rather, as testament to the ease of discernment. While it was true her initial suspicions were merely unfounded conjecture, in her heart of hearts she did not need Leo’s affirmation to know who the culprit had been. He simply solidified her beliefs in her accusations. “Or do you suspect me of something?” She tilted her head to one side, curiosity and bluntness masking the apprehension in her soul.

Chloe would happily take any excuse just to leave that filth hole of a room, the maids in her castle would never allow a room to go unclean or unchecked, one of the things she missed about home. She still didn't understand why this women forced them to stay here with her..was she lonely and needed company or something? If so, that's what cats are for. She distinctly remembered either her or Lilly explaining a purpose behind this act..though she was unsure what. If she knew, she'd atleast inform Mizuki. Ah, but enough about all that useless stuff, she was hungry and needed food now. As they walked the long corridors and halls, Chloe was practically shopping in her head, wondering what store to hit once she escaped this hell of a jail. That was, assuming her dad didn't lock her up in there own castle and ground her until she's too old to walk. She was worried he was going to be mad when he found out, after all she wasn't even supposed to be outside at the time that rude lady caught her unexpectedly. Basically, she was dead when he found out, he might of already caught on with her disappearance, that is if he wasn't too busy with his lady friends. Chloe rolled her eyes at the very thought, glances sliding over to Mizuki and her concerns. "Huh? How do you figure?" The Fiore princess asked almost in a dumbfounded tone, there's no way this one women could take on an entire army of kingdoms..could she? She never saw any of her magic power..so all of that was really unclear to how well she could fight. Still, there weren't too many in her guild..were there?? She thought about it some, but also nodding to Mizuki's intake. "You're right, she don't look worried. She's probably got some idea of what she's doing." Chloe said, squinting to get a better look at how positive the women looked. Like someone ahead of the chess board as there opponent, if the odds were against them from these angles, than there wouldn't be much they could do.
Chloe slid a slight glare towards Evelynne's direction at her comment, she did not care about her remarks or trying to get her to behave more classy. If she was going to be forced to stay here, than she was just going to make the time really annoying for the members. That's karma for stealing her away from shopping, she was absolutely grouchy enough being kept away from so many items she was late on buying. And than somehow forcing Mizuki here, which is something she'll never know how she did. "I say what I want." Chloe spoke with attitude, she gave her mind without care. She was always brutally honest, ever since she was very young so it's really just been a unbreakable habit. With Mizuki's question laid out, Evelynne answered, however after meeting most of the members, she doubted this Rosa held any compassion. Blue hair girl didn't, and nude wolf boy didn't, so why should the others? She nodded her head in agreement to Mizuki's comments, she couldn't be more correct. This attack though..if Chloe had just been at her guild hall instead, maybe most of this could of been avoided. It sucked being somewhere at the wrong time, without being fully aware. Finally, the long and exhausting walking was over, too much exercise for today. Blue trotted in the center of the two, though her gaze followed mostly towards Evelynne. She kept a watchful eye, while also memorizing much of the halls they walked through. Her memory was always so perfect, she could recall with ease should the need ever arise. Chloe sternly stared at the bowing maids, almost glaring at them before taking her seat next to Mizuki, while Blue stood around them always on high alert. The princess was completely zoning out as she held her elbows against the table, plopping her hands on her head. Boy was she bored. Though she heard Mizuki say her name, looking over at her. "Uhh, I'm lost. Can we go now?" Chloe spoke truthfully, than turn to Evelynne and asked to go home for the both of them. This was incredibly boring, paint drying sounded more fun to watch. She could barely focus and pay attention, zoning out much of the conversation, though she didn't mean to.
Rosa Li' Denosé Broken Crown B Ranked Mage: "Enchantress"
Rosa. Rosa the alarm is going off. Nnnnnnoooooo... No it's not... Shut it off...
Rosa listened to Ale as she wheeled back and forth, cleaning and clearing as she went. Away from the crowds and the fear and pain of the people of Fiore, she was rebounding rapidly. Sure the castle was dark and filled with people who focused on some darker, more primal emotions: but it was home to her. There were familiar souls here, and the stonework of the building radiated a bizarrely calming aura. When Ale said she was leaving, Rosa sighed, but nodded in agreement. "I'll message you if I can think of anything. Thanks for offering!" And then she turned around, setting about to cooking. She had the extremely large pan (see; cauldron) that she used in order to boil up all the pasta for the guild at once. From there, the redhead set to chopping olives, onions, garlic, and parsley. The fish remained in the chilled bag until it could be put into the refrigerator for tomorrow's dinner.
Heh... even down a pair of feet, you're still a wizard in the kitchen... Were it not for you, jabbermouth, I'd never be this good at it all. Hehehe!
When Evelyn eventually brought the "guests" in to the dinning room, Rosa sensed Evelyn's emotions first, touching on annoyed and frustrated, and even skewing in to something bordering on disappointment. Confusing as that was, the emotions of the two who had seemingly come with her were quick to clear the confusion. One practically reeked of snobby, selfish arrogance and self-assuredness. There was nothing malevolent or blatantly vile in her emotions, but she was far from happy, and seemed to want only to leave.
The other was far more controlled, her emotions shuddering somewhere between indignation, righteous fury, and fear. Beneath it all simmered a rage that threatened to spill over, but every time was pushed back down in to line by what could only be resolve and patience, as Rosa saw it. She raised her voice above the various boiling and chopping noises. "Lady Evelyn! Do we have guests? Do I need to make more plates?!" Her voice was loud from in the kitchen, but not enough to hurt the ears of anyone in the dining room. Her voice was questioning rather than demanding, but still had a quality to draw the attention of those who heard it.
Rosa? Rosa, come on, answer me. I know you can hear me. No. Tired. Lemme sleep.

✶ Evelyn kept her gaze on Mizuki as she replied to her inquisition. The girl was clever and witty, that which made her more dangerous company than say the Fiore princess. She chose her words carefully, saying nothing that didn't make sense or rouse suspicion. Maybe that was a logical conclusion she could draw, but... "I see. Yes, I suppose you do make a convincing argument. Though I wonder about that one" the blonde remarked, regarding Chloe. If she could draw anything besides the makeup on her face, she would be impressed. Still, something made her a bit suspicious and Mizuki's questioning of such only made her want to dig deeper into it. The bluenette was surprisingly confident in her current position and that confidence is what concerned the woman. The princess was hiding something or she knew something Evelyn did not. That alone was enough to earn her sharp gaze; a stare that could pierce a young lady's heart. "....No, I suppose not. Your accurate analysis is just surprising is all" she would explain, softening her eyes. Handing her parasol to one of the maids, she would lay her hands in her lap and straighten her posture.
"Could you bring us some tea? The Prince of Wales, please" she requested of the other maid. With a curtsy, she would disappear into the kitchen to prepare the teapot. No sooner after she left did Chloe speak up, asking if they could leave. Evelyn would try not to give the girl a look that relayed what she really thought of the child. Instead, she would close her eyes and let out a quiet sigh. "...No, dear. I just finished telling you that you cannot leave....and take your elbows off the table. Furthermore, I would suggest you both treat Rosa as you wish to be treated. The Gilded Law and what say you. If I hear of any ill behavior while you're in her care, it will not be pleasant for either of you. Consider this your one and only warning..." If there was one thing Evelyn would not tolerate, it was the mistreatment of her guild members. These "honored guests" were of no exception. As if on cue, Rosa could be heard shouting from the kitchen as the maid returned with a silver tray with a teapot and teacups. Turning her head to the maid who held her parasol, she would speak to her. "Please tell Rosa there's no need to shout across two rooms. Also, we have two guests joining us this afternoon." This maid would also curtsy and do as she was told, retreating into the kitchen now. While their cups were set before them and filled with tea, Evelyn closed her eyes, thinking to herself.
Mizuki kept her eyes focused on Evelyn as she gave her answer. The blonde was inclined to accept her reasoning behind the assertions she had previously made. It was a relief; however, she could not relax her guard just yet. Eyes trailed over to Chloe at Evelyn’s remark. “You would be surprised,” the Eridani princess allowed the trace of a wry smile to touch her lips. “She has her own merits.” While it was true Chloe held materialistic values, the elder princess did possess an astonishing level of understanding for the world around her when she so desired. She might not be capable of strategizing and biding her time, but she could draw proper conclusions if given the time and opportunity. “Isn’t that right, Blue?” Mizuki smiled down at the wolf, forever on alert, reaching out to scratch behind her ear. The wolf had been by Chloe’s side longer than anyone else the younger princess could recall. She scratched and stroked the dark wolf’s head for a time. Partially to set the wolf at ease and partially to keep her own mind clear. Leo’s shout still echoed in her head. His rage clear and biting. It resonated with her own feelings to a degree. But now was not the time to act on those emotions. Hair on the back of her neck stood on end as the woman kept her penetrating stare locked on. “Why is it surprising to you?” The cerulean-haired teenager genuinely wished to know. “See it from my point of view. If you had just heard about attacks and then an individual arrived to kidnap you, would you not consider the two instances connected somehow?” Many people would be of the same opinion as she. Perhaps the people of Balsam were already discussing the events of the day as if they were one in the same.
Shifting in her seat, Mizuki would look away from Evelyn, instead glimpsing the retreating form of the maid before glancing at her friend. Chloe sat slumped over the table with her head in her hands. The posture was typical of the brunette when she was bored. As if to reiterate that fact, the Fiore princess spared a brief glance to the bluenette before addressing the blonde in her usual brash manner. This earned a light laugh from Mizuki. The exasperation in their captor’s demeanor was priceless. “You mean treat her as if she is not a captive of a guild whom have wreaked destruction on others for unknown reasons? That may be a bit difficult considering the circumstances.” An impish light danced in the girl’s teal orbs. She knew well what Evelyn meant. Yet she could not suppress the urge to make her point. Treat and be treated was a simple concept, yes, but troublesome when one wished to be free from captivity altogether. It was in that moment that Rosa made herself known, if only by her voice. Mizuki pivoted in her seat, peering over her shoulder towards where the disembodied sound had come from. So Rosa serves as the cook as well. That could be bothersome. The clank of a teacup being placed before her drew the Celestial Spirit mage’s attention back. She stared down at the dark tea. Her eyes flicked up to Evelyn, though she said not a word. Tea had always been her least favorite drink.

The boredom was only growing every passing second, Chloe would rather be locked away in her own home than here. Atleast they catered to her every needs, and generally were more caring and considerate. She could tell Evelyn was pointing out her general direction..for something? At this point, she wasn't paying attention and didn't really care enough to figure out what she was meaning. This whole conversation was lost to her, as if she was drowning the whole world out in her utter boredom. Blue would look up at Mizu with those big blue eyes, which was how she got her name, wagging her tail some and enjoying the scratching behind her ears. That was indeed, the best spot to be scratched behind, every dogs and wolfs preference. Blue knew something terrible might happen, and so she was always alert. But if she looked nervous, than others might be nervous, and she didn't wish the two princesses to be nervous so she acted like nothing bad would happen. She tilted her head as the conversation continued, forever sitting and watching, her gaze covering every aspect of the room, in search of any immediate dangers.
Chloe overheard Evelyn asking that little scampering maid for tea, she looked pretty nervous, or maybe that was just her overthinking it? Her hazel eyes watched the maid for a moment, looking back towards Evelyn once she answered her repetitive questions. "Whhhyy??" Chloe questioned in annoyance, it was rather hard for her being told no, she went all of her life being able to avoid that with money. Not like that worked in this situation, she had already recently tried it. Money should be able to buy everything, even getting out of situations! When instructed to remove her elbows, she merely spat her tongue out and made a rather obnoxious spitty noise. "No! I'll take it off when you let us leave." Chloe answered in a snarky comment, if she was going to be forced to stay and fall into boredom, might as well make it annoying for the kidnapper too. Karma for kidnapping others! She practically smirked at Mizuki's comment of treating this other girl the way they wanted to be treated, or face consequences, that couldn't be much more boring than this. Ahh; this was what she loved about Mizu! She had some great comebacks, and was really great at pranks too. The best little sister ever!! "Well if she's anything like naked wolf, or that nasty lily, than that may be harder said than done. They didn't treat me with respect..so it depends on her attitude i guess." Chloe spoke her piece in all seriousness, she had already been attacked by both..this kingdom wasn't very classy in the least. As the tea was placed next to her, she could see the reflection of a mess she looked. Horrible, just ugly. She needed to get to her own closet as soon as possible and wear a new outfit..she's used to wearing a different one every 4-5 hours! This was all wrong, her hair was so uneven too! Blue sniffed the air, trying to sniff anything out of the ordinary, but it appeared to be regular tea so she didn't act. Chloe just stared at the Tea, she didn't really feel like drinking. She was more hungry than anything, drinks didn't really replenish her. Normally she would drink, maybe it was just the worry for Mizu hazing her thoughts, clouding her mind. That and she absolutely hated looking like a mess, if only she could of somehow brought along those clothes she recently purchased..that stupid girl ruined her shopping trip! Some loser peasants were probably having a field day stealing it and trying it on. That was really grinding her gear, she couldn't even think of drinking at this point. It was hardly crossing her mind.
Rosa Li' Denosé Broken Crown B Ranked Mage: "Enchantress"
Rosa. Rosa the alarm is going off. Nnnnnnoooooo... No it's not... Shut it off...
Rosa couldn't hear what was being said in the dining room very much, but the feelings of defiance, indignation, outrage, and even mock insult were starting to slowly become more coherent, and she could tell most of it came from the 'guests'. A warmer, more comforting feeling washed over Rosa, reinvigorating her and insulating her from the more wrathful ones. She knew it came from Evelyn, but she couldn't quite peg what it was.
She sighed as she was told to stop raising her voice by the servant that came into the kitchen. "Right... right... my bad. Tell lady Evelyn I apologize, if you would? Thank you!" She turned around and set about continuing her cooking, then realized there was garlic on the cutting board. It took her a minute of sitting there to realize her mistake. With a heavier than normal sigh, she set aside the tainted sauce and began a new pot. "Well... at least it wasn't done yet..."
It took about twenty minutes of hard work, but she finally got all the sauce simmering. For her recipe, it took an hour of simmering to complete cooking. It made sure all the flavors intermingled and mixed correctly. Her task complete to her satisfaction, Rosa wheeled herself out of the kitchen and over to the dining room, knocking on the door frame as she entered to make sure she was welcome before coming in. "Hello? Uhhh... hi! Good morning Lady Evelyn, and our guests. Morning? Wait, what time is it?"
Rosa? Rosa, come on, answer me. I know you can hear me. No. Tired. Lemme sleep.

✶ Eyes still closed and sipping her tea, she would listen to the princesses speak. They gave all their sass and childish remarks while she was enjoying the flavor of her drink. The dark and complex taste mixed well with the earthy fragrance. It was simply marvelous; a delectable tea that was definitely one for an acquired taste. Perhaps she should have chosen something sweeter for her young guests as they seemed apprehensive to even try it. Or maybe they thought something was off about it? Regardless, Evelyn would set her cup down and look upon the girls again; Chloe keeping her elbows planted firmly on the table. "Perhaps" she would reply to Mizuki's first question. "But in any case, you are correct. I did orchestrate the attacks on the guilds. A necessary sacrifice in the grand scheme of things" she would inform the younger princess as if she was simply stating facts. At this point, the maid would return to pass along Rosa's message from the kitchen. Evelyn would nod in response, showing a slight smirk from the message. That girl was quite the character and she didn't change herself for anyone; it was one of the things that made her so likable. Clearing her throat, she would return her attention to the young ladies across from her.
"You can rest assured, Rosa will take care of you. I will say the treatment Chloe endured earlier was due to her unwillingness to cooperate. Yes, you are here against your will and yes, you are essentially my prisoners. Whether your stay here is pleasant or not is up to you. I need you girls alive...and that's all. Personally, I would advise you to make the best of a bad situation, wouldn't you agree? And would you take your elbows off the table, please? You are a princess; at the very least you could act like one" the empress sighed. Entertaining Mizuki was charming in a way, but coupled with Chloe, it was beginning to grate on her nerves. The woman would continue to sip on her tea until Rosa would finally appear in the doorway. Evelyn would look her direction when she knocked and give the girl a welcoming smile. "Good afternoon, Rosa. These are our guests, Princess Mizuki Kagehoshi and Princess Chloe Fiore" she would introduce them, gesturing to each as she said their names. "What have you prepared for this evening?" Whatever it was, it smelled absolutely delicious!
Her affirmation of her actions came as no true surprise to the princess. The timing was too precise and purposeful for one not to be related to the other. While learning the identity of the culprit held some level of satisfaction, Evelyn continued to dance around her reasoning for perpetrating such heinous acts. It was that which Mizuki desired to know most of all. “But why?” She asked, staring at the woman. "Why would you want to cause so much death and destruction? What do you gain from it? I can’t believe it’s merely as a distraction. There’s more than you’re telling us.” If she could learn of the woman’s true motives, tap into the purpose behind all of this, then she could hopefully pass that knowledge onto Leo. He would then be able to forewarn Master Helga and the others so they become better prepared. “Why have you brought us here?” The younger princess continued to press. There had to be rhyme and reason to the blonde’s actions. Perhaps they were to be used as political hostages, or perhaps they were there for some other purpose. Mizuki had been attempting to discern the connection, yet she came up with just two key features. Aside from their heritage, they were both Celestial Spirit mages and dear friends. What sort of mischief could Evelyn create from these points? That is what the bluenette deigned to discover.
Teal orbs traveled to the elder princess at her side. Chloe’s clear annoyance and disdain for their current situation mirrored the feelings Mizuki held. Judging by the brunette’s response, she did not have a pleasant encounter with the others residing in the dark guild. “You can't fault her for being skeptical. Our encounters haven’t been the most…pleasant.” Mizuki could not speak to Chloe’s experience. Her own had been cordial, if she were to place a word to it, though not cheerful or beneficial. Meeting the elder princess’s eyes, she motioned for her to sit back in her seat. Not to aid Evelyn in her request, per say. “Perhaps,” she spared a glance at the empress, “If you removed her shackles she’d be more willing to listen?” Being restrained as she was could not be comfortable. A single gesture of good will would go a long way with the Fiore princess, as the Eridani princess had learned upon their first meeting. A clattering echoed from the kitchen followed soon enough by a knock. The young girl shifted once more to see whom had entered the dining room; although, she need not have as Evelyn made quick work of introductions. Mizuki studied the redhead intently, watching her every interaction and dissecting every statement. She gave the impression of normalcy for the most part. Even sounded as if she could be enjoyable to converse with. Which, how someone like herself could be associated with a dark guild was beyond the teenager’s comprehension. Weird...

Chloe continuously stared into the glass, seeing her reflection and refused to look away. She was in public being seen this hideous..this was a nightmare. The reflection felt like it was mocking her, causing her to shove it away so abruptly that the tea inside flung drops of it outside the cup in some places. If she tried to get a drink, she'd just be looking into a mirror, and right now she'd rather not see what a mess she was. Not until she could pamper herself, and get herself fixed up. Of course, for that to happen, she'd have to escape. Chloe hadn't been listening to much of the ongoing conversation, not like listening was going to get them out any faster anyways. Her eyes slid over towards Evelynne as she asked her again to move her elbows, annoyance clear in her gaze and tone. But, once Mizuki silently asked her too as well, she obliged for her sake if nothing else. "Finee. What are you saying though? Elbows on a table isn't lady like? It's just a table, not like I put my feet up." She spoke finally, sitting up right and removing her elbow from the table, but crossing one leg over the other. It was kind of a nervous habit when seating in a certain position that didn't make her feel uncomfortable.
Chloe heard Mizuki's questionings, this girl was just too pure. She tried to help her out too, she could see that is what she was doing or at least seemed so, so she tried the same for her as well. "Oh yes, I promise I would. As long as Mizuki's is taken off as well, if you do I promise you I will barely move or speak until told to. I won't annoy you no longer, fair deal, wouldn't you say?" She questioned, though even she didn't know if it was a lie or not to help her friend in need out. Would she truly be more willing to cooperate? There was a possibility, at least at the request of taking that restraint off from Mizuki. For Chloe, it probably wouldn't matter with it on or not. She didn't even have her keys with her, and wasn't sure if she could communicate with her spirits like Mizuki could. Than again..would Evelynne see it as a complete lie or maybe she'd figured they had ideas of busting out of this joint? In all honesty though, she'd prefer getting to wear a nice dress than trading with the shackles..ironic. A voice rang out, while Evelynne greeted the two towards this guild member of hers. She was all prepared for this demonic psychopath, when this pretty red headed girl arrived, completely different from the rest it seemed. Well, this was no fun. Why would someone like her choose to be here anyways, of all places? CHOOSE??? Chloe stared with the most unusual look, as if still gawking at how someone like her ended up in this dark dump of a castle..place, whatever it even was. "Awe, boo she's cute." She pouted, but glanced around for the moment. She wasn't taking a good look at the place or anything, she was trying to figure out where Evelynne put Mizuki and her owns keys at. If she could just find the placement..it'd help some. She figured it wouldn't be out in the open..but you never know! She really wanted to get her own back, and she was positive Mizu felt the same. Blue was just sitting, her tail swooshing back and forth. Her guard was never left down, not even for a split second.
Rosa Li' Denosé Broken Crown B Ranked Mage: "Enchantress"
Rosa. Rosa the alarm is going off. Nnnnnnoooooo... No it's not... Shut it off...
Rosa smiled as she was introduced, and tried to bow politely, but didn't get very far in her wheelchair. She looked down in annoyance, but didn't say anything or let her gaze linger for long. She knew Neb could fix it for her in an instant, but two things were stopping her. On one hand, she simply didn't want to bother her obviously emotionally distressed friend; and on the other, she was going to use it as an opportunity to formulate and test out a few healing spells. And on some level, she wanted to simply prove to herself that she was becoming stronger in some way.
She rolled herself a little way into the room, looking to Evelyn for a moment. Frustration, annoyance, mild anger, and a desire to not have to be dealing with at least one person in this room commingled and contrasted with her amusement at one of the other occupants of the room. Curiosity fluttered around the edge of Evelyn's consciousness, followed by the question obviously meant for the emotion in question. The redhead beamed proudly, flashing a giant, toothy smile. "Pasta Bolognese, my Lady. Prepared with the usual exceptions, of course." It was here that her attention was drawn to the emotions of the young girls. Annoyance, arrogance, bitter disappointment, anger, frustration, feelings of confinement and isolation, protectiveness for one another, and open, bitter disdain for this place and everyone in it. As her head turned, Rosa went to introduce herself more politely, directly, and personally. Then her eyes trained on the top of the head and ears coming up beside the table.
It took her a solid four seconds of completely silent staring to comprehend what was in front of her.
Oh s**t this isn't going to end well.
Rosa's eyes widened swiftly, and she leaned back in the chair she was using to get around in, accidentally flinging herself backwards out of it. "OH s**t WHO LET A ******** WOLF INTO THE DINING ROOM?!?! THAT'S NOT ONE OF SKAL'S OH HOLY ********>" As she spoke, she was backing herself out of the room with her arms, tears welling in her eyes and streaming down her face in open, unrelenting panic. She managed to get herself out of the room and around a door frame in short order, and pulled her legs to her chest, hyperventilating and bawling into her knees. She risked a look back into the room, but pulled her head back around when she confirmed that there was, in fact, a ******** wolf in there. Sure, she'd grown used to Skal and his pack, but that had taken months of dedicated, careful, gradual exposure. This was some mutt she'd never seen before, and it was not okay in her book.
It took her a full two minutes to get enough composure to say anything, and when she did, it was shaky and halting, obviously a strain on her to even manage that much. "L-l-l-lady E-e-velyn.... c-can I h-h-h-have m-my chair? P-p-please? I know y-y-y-you're not f-fond of touching th-th-things b-b-but..."
