Today was macaroni art day! The very moment it had been announced that morning Marzel had immediately perked in his seat. He loved arts and craft because that usually meant he could make the brightest, sparkliest, most amazing thing he could think of! He had nearly vibrated in place as the caretaker went around helped each child write their names, which he politely refused because he had already done that part. The fact that his ‘z’ was backwards wasn't that big a deal, no matter what the caretaker said. He did pause in all his excitement, holding his paper up at arm’s length to survey his work for all of a minute before giving a sharp nod. It was fine! A little paint and maybe some glitter and no one would say anything about his backward letter.
The bright Grimm wriggled almost constantly in his seat as he watched the caretaker move around once more to hand out containers of glue. He held his arms out, claws grasping for his bottle almost desperately until it was deposited carefully on the table. With a squeal of glee, he snatched it up and carefully unscrewed the top just enough to glob out some glue for his project. Just as he was about to begin the process of applying the right amounts of glue, the sounds of the caretaker trying to solve a problem caught his attention. He sat the bottle down, turning in his seat to see what was going on out of pure curiosity.
The moment he noticed the look of dismay spread across the other’s face, Marzel was moving. He grabbed his things and carefully scooched his way over to their table, placing his paper with his name already written on it upside down so he could use the other side and pushed it toward him along with the glue he'd been given. “You can use mine if you want,” he grinned brightly at the other child, completely willing to sacrifice his own project so they would be happy.
