Erytheia was feeling distant, withdrawn. He wasn't sure why, but searching for Caedus seemed to be the right thing to do now. He'd grown a bit since he was but a timid page. Back then, he certainly wouldn't have sought anyone out like this. Before he had never been to space, never been to anywhere but this earth, blissfully unable to conceive of any elsewhere than here. He hadn't then thought there were those who had been to the stars and, perhaps, beyond.
The squire of Cosmos stood about uneasily. He was told Caedus was pretty cautious and rather secretive too. Would he be unhappy that Erytheia sought him out or offended at being disturbed?
