Happy Easter! .....April Fools!
Easter is a time to celebrate life! April fools is a time for tricks. This year, the two have come together on one day, so the dead have decided to join the living, and they've brought an Easter basket full of tricks with them! RNG from the lists below to determine what you'll get! As you may notice, these lists contain quite a lot more variety of outcomes than the usual-- this time, no one, and nothing, is safe from a well timed prank!
Rules
-Once a day you may RNG in this event thread from ONE of the three lists below to see what easter surprise you'll get!
-There are two types of events that you can get from the RNG, permanent events and temporary events. Temporary events will last as long as the RPer wants (unless stated otherwise in the event details). Permanent events are events that will apply a permanent effect or grant an item or pokemon. You may only get a total of five permanent events, so once you've gotten those five, you can only RNG from the temporary event list for the rest of the event.
-Temporary events are unlimited, and may be rerolled for or chosen as you like. If you get a categorical RP option, you can either choose from the list, or, if you prefer to give that extra spice of random, RNG again from that specific list, in the RNG thread! If you have no interest in RP effects, you may reroll for your items, until you get one, or use an altered list with the RP options removed. But, remember, you can still only get five total permanent effects, and can only get one a day.
-Disclaimer: Temporary events are only meant to be fun/silly RP ideas and should not affect or be used as an excuse to cheat guild mechanics.
-DO NOT DELETE POSTS in this thread without contacting and getting permission from a mod first. If you are caught deleting your posts, you will be suspected of attempted cheating and therefore disqualified from this event.
-This event will last for two weeks, closing on April 15, at 11:59PM PST, so get your daily rolls in before then!

Event to character:
1 - Character must tell the truth, and say everything that comes to mind with absolutely no filter.
2 - Character is placed in charge of 10 NPC bidoof which follow them around out of their pokeballs and will not go away, nor can they be stored in a computer. Their beady eyes watch your every move.

4 - Character recalls a different backstory-- they don't develop amnesia, but they recall a different personal history than their actual background (can be swapped with another character, or have an entirely different one made up. Goes as long as the RPer wants)
5 - Zap! You’ve been turned into a human magnet! Anything metallic is now attracted to you! Thankfully, it doesn’t seem strong enough to pull any heavy items to you. But, as a shocking development, any person you come into physical contact is magnetized too! And you know how magnets are attracted to each other...

4 - Zap! Pokemon has been turned into a living magnet! Anything metallic is now attracted to them! Thankfully, it doesn’t seem strong enough to pull any heavy items to them. But, as a shocking development, any person/pokemon they come into physical contact is magnetized too! And you know how magnets are attracted to each other...
5 - Pokemon will teleport five feet away in any direction at random intervals
6 - Pokemon now believes that it is the trainer and the trainer is their pokemon.

FAQs
Q: Oh no! My RP event says XYZ, but I don't want it/the event would be awkward to RP out for my character and doesn't really seem fun to me. Can I just re-roll for another one?
A: You don't have to use events, whether they're temporary or permanent, if you don't want to. However, permanent events do count for one of your 5 permanent events regardless of whether or not you want to use it. You will have to just roll again the next day to get something new, but there are no re-rolls.
Q: I got XYZ event, but which character/pokemon should I use it on?
A: It's completely your choice! If you want to keep with the spirit of the event, feel free to do some additional RNGs in the RNG thread to determine which character/pokemon you want to apply the event to, or you can pick whoever the event will be easier to work with, or more fun!
Q: I got the event where the trainer body swaps with a pokemon! Are there any restrictions of what can happen?
A: Yes. To clarify, when using this, the pokemon swapped into a trainer would not have any of the abilities it had when it was a pokemon. It is essentially just a mind swap, so of course abilities wouldn't be transferred.
Q: How long do these temporary events last? Do I have to use them right away? Do they expire when the event ends?
A: You don't have to use temporary events right away. In fact, you can save them for as long as you want, and start them whenever you'd like, even after the event has ended! Additionally, unless the event says otherwise, they can last for as long as you need to make the most out of the plot it brings. Think of these as free RP prompts to help break free of that writers block on a rainy day!
Q: Can I make up my own character and pokemon events?
A: Of course! You're welcome to do that under normal circumstances in the guild as long as they follow the rules and are only for RP purposes. Our temporary events listed here are just fun writing prompt suggestions. You don't have to use them or RNG them if you'd rather come up with some wacky or fun plot on your own.
