Nico really wants to be a hero. But everyone seems to think he's the problem! He need someone to help him out?

Nico likely had homework to do but like any college student he was putting off. Sure most weren't in a collapsed building trying to save people while looking scary as hell. Well he was trting to save the day. He free someone then they would run in terror of him. It not like he was was chasing them. He sigh internally and moved the the next person he heard. They floor they were on was rickty and not safe he dug them out and as expected they were shocked to see him. They went to run away but were running to where it was not safe. He was heading over to them to try and catch them but he looked up in time to see a hero fly in.

Suddenly, a beam of light struck the ground right beside the shapeshifter, a hero of a radiant, sunny aura hovering in the sky. Obviously it was a warning shot, and the hero had gotten the completely wrong impression when he saw something chasing a civilian around. It didn’t look good, especially since there was a collapsed building with no other easy guess for what was responsible. “I’m gonna need those claws in the air,” he warned, his open palm aimed at the strange creature, glowing and ready to give a painful photon blast if his warning wasn’t heeded. He didn’t know the full story, but he had his impression.

Ahhh, that was close! The light blast near him suprised Nico causing him to back up. He reconised the hero, Morningstar. He didn't look too pleased. He was more than happy to comply the citizen had diverted thier path to a safer path. He did hold the caws up. They both would hear a cry for help on the next floor. In hind sight he really should've let Morningstar handle it but Nico just couldn't stand them being trapped. He woud move to jump to the next floor where the last trapped person was. Unless he was shot by Morningstar before he got there he dig them out. Perhaps once they were safe he go back to normal and explain. Morningstar would listen right?

It seemed like his words were heeded up until the strange creature suddenly turned to go dig something up from the rubble. Morningstar would’ve likely attacked if he had a clearer idea of what was going on. “Uhh…” Evidently he was confused, but the creature wasn’t chasing anyone, so he didn’t have much reason to just blatantly attack.
Soon after, his partner for the patrol arrived, clad in white and gold, the sun. “He’s trying to pull someone out,” she said, hearing the faint heartbeat of someone beneath the rubble. “We should be doing the same,” she added, descending to lift the rubble. It was the faint sound of people panicking that she sought out, lifting debris to find a group of four adults who had been trapped but were intact, albeit frightened from the incident; they looked with great relief to their savior, thanking her repeatedly. Her companion followed in her example, though he had to blast the debris aside, since he didn’t have the strength to lift them.

Nico was focused enough on digging he didn't initially see Olympia arrive but He did notice her helping, and with Morningstar's help as well they freed the last family. They thanked Olympia profusly before getting to safety. The still seem spooked by him but the presence of Olympia seem to assure then he was no danger. He was a bit jealous though. He usully got dirty looks. With no one else in need of rescue he kinda needed to explain himself for these heroes. Seeing as it was totally safe now considering the heros present he reverted back to his normal self. He wasnt nessasarilly built but he wasnt scrawny. He was admittedly, a pretty average nerd. He be wering faded olive colored hoodie and black jeans. He had figured out the power enough to let him not be naked every time. He did feel a bit awkward at the moment though. This wasn't how he thought he would get to meet heroes. "So uh.. thanks for helping, and sorry I looked like I was chasing them. I was worried they fall. Cant say I blame you for blasting at me..." He said really unsure how to approach the converstation. He was kinda starstruck though. He was talking with two big name heroes.

“I’m glad I didn’t, though,” replied the radiant hero, laughing at their entertaining incident. He had some applause coming from the thankful civilians he’d rescued and quiet thanks from those who were injured. He had judged largely on appearance, and that wasn’t too fair, because it ended up the stranger was only trying to help.
As for his partner, she had her hands full, quite literally as she shook the hands of the various strangers she’d rescued; they were starstruck themselves, providing compliments and praise, though she remained quite modest and declared she was only doing what she felt was right.
Afterwards, the first responders—or in this case, the second responders—arrived, tending to the wounded and carting away those who couldn’t walk. As police arrived, they went about their usual business, but their commanding officers gravitated towards the heroes as well, shaking their hands.
“Come on,” offered Morningstar, patting Nico’s back and directing him towards their audience, letting him have his share of the thanks and applause. “A day in the life, am I right?” Reporters and such were well on their way.
Olympia herself approached Nico. “Thank you,” she said simply.

Nico was also glad he didn't get hit he was sure those beams would have hurt or burned. He was happy everyone was safe, and sure the praise was nice an all. He did make sure he wasn't discernable in any of the cameras. Even whe Morningstar led him to get some of the praise. He liked to go to school in peace if he could. Didn't want others bombarding him. He really should get a mask or something. It was easy enough when Olympia seemed to conveniently place herself when coming to talk to him. "Oh you're welcome. Though I feel like I shoud do the thanking. I usully get blamed for causing the crisis rather than fixing it." He said shrugging like he had become use to the fact. "Oh I should really tell you my name, I'm Nico." He said offering hand to shake

Using her as a sort of publicity shield was unusually effective; she was easy to look at. If his goal was not to draw too much attention to himself, few would recognize him, at least in his human form, if people were under the impression that he was just another person who got lucky enough to talk to the other heroes. “It’s nice to meet you. Honestly, you did the right thing here, and as long as that remains true, it makes no difference what people believe,” she replied. Of course, she realized she wasn’t the most credible source for that sort of response. Yes, she had always been adored, but she knew there were others who operated differently and didn’t care for the praise, only the mission. “If you’re planning to do this regularly, we could always use people like you,” she added, seemingly extending an invitation his way.

Nico was surprised when it seemed Olympia was offering he join up. "Oh like be teammates?" He asked mostly in disbelief. He wasnt too sure if that want him. He was pretty nightmare inducing. Though it be pretty awesome. He was like most his nerdy friends, hero fans. He be lying if he didn't have any action figures collected. That all felt awkward with him chatting causally with Olympia now. "I mean if your offering yea that be great. Not doing the best on my own." He would totally nerd out once he got home but for now he needed to maintain his dignity.

His astonishment was entertaining, prompting a small laugh in the heroine. “If you’re planning to make the world a better place, better we do it together, right?” she replied. He seemed to have his heart in the right place. His transformation might have given people the wrong idea, but there was more to being a hero than just looking like one. “I think some publicity could do you some good. Once people start associating you and your transformation with us, I think that should deal with any misunderstandings. You can come by the tower whenever you’re free, or now while we’re not too busy, up to you.”

"I'm already procrastinating on finishing off one assignment. Might as well go now." He said with a smirk, he didnt have much left to do so a bit longer on his outing was fine. How would they get there. He could run pretty damn fast in beast mode but Olympia and Morningstar flew so mabye one would carry him. Though the base was likely pretty awesome. Like pretty much any other city dweller, he knew where base was. Kinda hard to miss a building with a giant H on it. "Flying seems the most convenient but I can get a pretty fast speed when I want too." He said hopeing for an airborne method of travel
