Welcome to the Circus.
Inside the tent, everything is cast in a warm, golden-red glow. the heavy red and white striped canvas of the tent stretches towards the middle in a point, as most circus tents do, with poles holding up each of the outer edges. It's quite large; about the size of a convention center room, with rows and rows of staggered seating around three fourths of the tent walls. At the back of the tent is a small, closed section where the performers enter.
The man at the front of the ticket booth gives you a glossy admission ticket on a lanyard for you to wear. You are invited to take your seat, to mingle, to chat. The atmosphere is excited, something magical in the air. Everyone seems very enthusiastic about what's going to be in the show, and in spite of the late hour, everyone is wide awake.
The show will begin momentarily.
