Incanthis had seen to it that the little ones were all safely tucked away in their basket so that they could play in a manner that wouldn't allow them to get underfoot. It was very important that such a thing was done because he needed a moment to himself. Well, more then a moment since he was about to go about the chore that was dealing with his hair. Washing it, drying it, combing it all out, then tying it back into the braid that he always kept it in. It was a lot of work but work that he was willing to do for may reasons.

There were many times in the past that he'd considered cutting it all off, to have hair that was as short as that of Abie... but the idea of doing so felt bad. His mother had often times helped him to style his hair back in the day, not to mention that it was something that he had in common with his brothers even if he was far from them and nervous to try to meet up with them again. The long hair was a tie to his family, to his past, and that made him unable to to change. The long hair was something he couldn't and wouldn't bring himself to change even if there was a part of him that wanted to do so just for the sake of convenience.

After settling down on the floor of the room he was in he set to untying the ribbon at the end of his hair before he then set to undoing the braid. Once that was done he moved the heavy mass of hair into a nearby basin and set to work scrubbing it clean with various sorts of shampoo. Once that was done and it was rinsed through several times he set about the task that was scrubbing it dry. Once done he was already ready for the work to be done but it had only just started as he still needed to comb it all out. He drew in a deep breath, held it, and then let it out slowly, "Alright, here we go."

With that he set about the insurmountable task that was combing his hair out bit by bit by bit. It seemed to be going well for a time, with him actually making headway... when suddenly a part of his hair started to run away without him. Giving a squeak of surprise he watched his hair... and the little whelp that was all tangled in it, "Ah! Oh... no, stay! No..." He gasped out, wanting to grab him up but if he moved he'd end up all tangled up himself now that his hair was all free. If he didn't stop him then the little baby with the malformed leg was going to get tangled even worse in a net of hair.

Looking from side to side in a desperate manner he called out, "Abie? Abie are you there? I need a bit of help!" Here was to hoping he was around.

Incanthis turned his attention to Abie as he arrived, giving him a helpless sort of look. He wanted to free the whelp but he felt that if tried it himself it might just end up worse. Instead he waited for the other to come to his aid, picking the baby free of his hair as one might a leaf that got stuck in it, before returning him to the basket, "I think we need to put him in a harness and on a leash at all times. For his own good as I don't want to see him wander off." He sounded a tad worried for the little one since he seemed to be far too good at escaping despite his leg.

"I'm alright though..." He looked himself over and his his hair which had a nice, snaptrotter created snarl in it, and said, "This didn't quite work out the way I had planned. I'd been hoping to get myself cleaned up before seeking you out." Hard to look his best when he was sitting half dressed on the bathroom floor with his hair all over the place. Something that caused him to side a bit, wondering if he should try again another day.

Incanthis's eyes went wide and his cheeks darkened as Abie set to complimenting him in such a manner. He dropped his gaze and lifting his hands to hide his face for a moment, trying to get his embarrassement in hand. Once he was able to he turned to look over at Abie once more, "Ahh... thank you..." He murmured, glancing away, then back again, before he murmured, "I... so wicked ideas? I... might have been thinking somewhat similar. I mean... we are alone now other then our snaptrotters."

He seemed to relax a bit as Abie helped him with the grand task at hand that was dealing with his hair. He gave a smile and said, "Thank you, it will be a lot faster going with a bit of help... and then we can... ah... " He blinked a couple times, cheeks flushing again, and he turned to distract himself by getting his comb so that he could work alongside Abie.

It took a bit of doing but soon enough Incanthis's hair was wrangled back into the braid that he kept it in. Giving a sigh of relief he said, "Thank you so very much, Abie. It would have taken so much longer if you hadn't shown up." He gave a bit of a smile and said, "Well... I don't know if I would have gotten anything at all done if you hadn't shown up since I had a whelp tangled in my hair."

As he was pulled up to his feet he gave a smile and a nod as he was told that they would do thing at his pace. It really was kind of Abie, wasn't it? That he would still wait until Incanthis was ready no matter what pace he wanted to take going forward. As they got to their room he wrapped his arms around him, hugging him tight before giving him a kiss on the forehead, "Thank you, Abie."

Incanthis's cheeks colored a bit at the question, trying to find the right way to word what it was that he was wanting to do. As the other mentioned 'snuggles' he gave a nod of his head, "Ahh, yes! Well, among other things. So long as that is alright." It seemed like he couldn't help but to ask again and again, not wanting to push things or do anything that would make Abie unhappy or uncomfortable. It was something that Incanthis wanted to do but only if Abie was as committed to the ideas as he was.

As morning came Incanthis left the room that he was sharing with Abie, dressed in just his pants at the moment, stepping into the next room over, and called for a bath for the two of them as well as some breakfast. After doing so he went to check on all of the babies that were sharing the room with them, and finally back to the room to peek in on Abie. Just looking in his direction caused Incanthis's cheeks to burn brightly and he ducked back out for a moment, fanning himself, and gave a little bit of a sigh. It wasn't a bad thing what they'd done, fact it was a really good thing, but that didn't mean that it didn't cause him to be a bit shy.

He would just wait, see how Abie reacted when he woke up, and go from there. Until then he would do what he was best at, taking care of things. He'd make sure there was a hot bath and food waiting for Abie, he'd also make sure that everything was cleaned up, that clothing was laid out, anything to fill his time. He seemed to have a lot of extra energy to burn as he waited for Abie to wake up.

Incanthis gave a squeak of surprise as he was caught in Abie's arms, turning to look at him over his shoulders, cheeks coloring darkly again, "Ah! H-Hello Abie... wonderful m-morning, yes." He said, his voice stuttering a little due to his shyness creeping in. Given his age he really shouldn't be acting in such a manner but he couldn't help it. Such a thing, it was far different then anything that'd done before with Abie and was something that he wouldn't soon forget.

"I have b-breakfast on the way as well as a bath that will be s-set up by those in charge of this place." He said when he was able to to get himself to calm enough to speak without too many missteps. After a moment of thought he asked, "How are you feeling? Not still tired, are you?"

Incanthis lifted a hand to scratch it against his darkly flushed cheek and said in a hushed tone, "Ahh... I'm good." He looked over at Abie, away, then back again, "It was... really nice so... thank you, Abie. Ah! The morning is too of course and I think you should see about getting a bath before eating."

As Abie pressed closer to him Incanthis seemed to relax a bit, his silvery eyes sinking closed, and he released a slow breath, "Your welcome... and thank you, Abie. You really are too good to me." He allowed their foreheads to rest together, allowing him to find a sense of serene calm, allowing the ball of nervous energy within the pit of his stomach to fizzle out a bit. Giving a little sigh he said, "Ahh... I think I should get that." He murmured, realizing that there was a knock on the door, indicating that his earlier requests had arrived.

Withdrawing from Abie, though not before giving him a quick kiss, the Shifter went to the door, letting the staff in. A bath tub was set up, filled with buckets of water and then some stones were handed over for Incanthis to heat up to add to the tub which would help to heat the water. As that was worked on a young woman brought in a tray of food, putting it down on a table for them to eat. Incanthis took the stones offered to him and set to work heating them up with his magic before dropping them carefully in the tub. By the time he was done with the task the staff had gone on their way, leaving the two lovers alone again.
