Backstory:
sal is the spawn of two mid-level demons. his parents ******** off when he was wee imp so he was raised by his sister leonor.
he came to gaia durin' the big angels vs demons dust up, not really carin' who won. sal found himself in durem and because of his attitude toward the war he didn't really care who he healed. after the war people were grateful for his medical work an' allowed him to stay. he's lived in durem ever since.
for a number of years he worked as an exterminator. clearin' ghosts an' other elemental nasties for people. as the job started to take it's toll on his body he decided it was time to retire. unfortunately his retirement was short lived. he bungled a job for some vampires an' had to choice between his life or workin' for them for an unspecific length of time. that job turned out to be runnin' the demonic hall of records, a shabby store in the middle of ol' durem for the next 500 years.
now sal spends his time hangin' out in the shop with his many dogs until it's time to go to the pub.
