The First Strike:
Emperor Azazel Drosselmeyer strikes the first blow against the Republic, sending General Kerseus Stormbreather to attack the capital. Kerseus burns down several Bellrisian villages. Head Councilwoman Hysteria fells Kerseus

January 9th - 11th
A Public Message:
Head Councilwoman Hysteria sends the head of Kerseus Stormbreather back to the Emperor and crucifies 500 Lionis guards along the Bellris-Lionis Boarder

March 20th to 30th
The Sack of Vasilisa:
The province of Vasilisa, which boarders Lionis to the East is sacked, the Vasilisian nobility are taken back to Lionis as Hostages.
Seven villages are burnt to the ground and two thousand men, woman, and children are crucified by the Imperial Army.
The Main City of Vasilisa, located near the river ten miles from the province of Smokescale, is attacked only stones remain.
Vasilisian refugees scatter toward the Shadow City, Etherland, and Solidon.

April 1st to 28th
A Fatal Misstep:
The Imperial army splits, one large host marches north toward Whipwood while a second marches east toward Smokescale, a splinter group marches toward Solidon.
The Splinter group demands Solidon turn over the Vasilisian refugees, the Splinter group lays siege to Solidon Castle and open hostilities with Solidon.
The North marching host is unexpectedly met by Bellrisian soldiers.
The East bound host lays siege to the main city in Smokescale beginning on the first. By the 20th reports of cannibalism are come from the city.
Roland Bellris liberates Smokescale and sends the Eastbound army into retreat, He continues on to liberate Vasilisia as the Eastbound Army meets back up with the Northbound in Whipwood.
Vasilisia is completely liberated from Imperial Control, Smokescale refugees flee as far as Phobos.
Roland Bellris, Evelyn Lionis and the Main brunt of the Bellrisian army encircle and eradicate the Imperial forces sent into Bellris, Generals are taken hostage.
The battle becomes known as the Battle of Starfall.
Chusi Chhatrapati and Solidon Soldiers march to the Lionis Capital and Catapult the charred remains of the splinter group that attempted to lay siege to Solidon into the City.
On the last day of February Solidon publicly declares for Bellris.

June 16th
Stalemate
Bellris and Lionis are locked in an stalemate as Lionis attempts to retake Vasilisa.

July 20th
Continued Stalemate
Lionis makes a small amount of headway only to be pushed back
Bellris begins to use the Stalemate to buy time to save citizens, many larger cities, towns, and villages are evacuated to Western Bellris.

August 23rd
A Crack in the Ice
Lionis sends a second sizeable army North toward civilian land, unable to currently split their forces Bellris is forced to retreat from Vasilisa to Smokescale.
The Empire takes this chance to make a temporary dam to block water from the river delta [and cause and effect, also Titania] The swamplands of Palude begin to flood
Rebellions begin back in Lionis

September 4th to 30th
Fear and Faith
The Bellrisian Provence of Ezili is attacked by the Empire.
A militia is formed but it defeated, several are captured and by order of the Emperor are either killed, imprisoned or sold into slavery to pay for war costs.
People in Western Ezili either flee into Zalto or jump off Epsilon.
The Empire continues to make headway though Bellris, Following the retreating army though Vasilisa, Smokescale, Whipwood, and into the Royal Lands.
Two hundred thousand Bellrisians from the named provinces are sold into slavery by the Emperor to pay for war costs.

October 14th to 30th
Stalemate
Phobos intercedes in Western Bellris, stopping the Empires raiding of Ezili
Bellris manages to hold the Empire just outside the Shadow City. A new form of warfare is introduced as it is shown to the world that Bellris has a very high population of Humans. Ballista's are shot from ground level or towers to bring dragons falling down into a four mile strip of iron and obsidian spikes. This battle becomes known as the Human Bloodbath, for all the damage they have managed to do despite having no wings.

November 1st
Winter Storms
Heavy Winterstorms have created an involuntary armistice between Bellris and Lionis.
Riots break out in Lionis due to food shortages.

December 12th to 31st
Winter Storms Continue
Storms force Lionis to retreat back to the Capital in order to maintain their size.
The army of Bellris vanishes [the people go underground, this is only known to Bellrisians]

January 1st to February 20th
Failed Attempts
The Storms finally stop just before February
Lionis Marches on Bellris once again but is unable to make it more then twenty miles before being forced back into Lionis.
Daughter of the Emperor, Ursula Drosselmeyer, is found dead in castle blackstone with a slit throat, most likely assassinated.
The Empire demands Ethe supply soldiers for the war against Bellris as well as the head of the Assassin.

March 1st
Surrounded
King Herod of Phobos attacks from the South.
Head councilwoman Hysteria Bellris holds due North of the Capital and Princess Evelyn Lionis holds North-east near Vasilisa, while multiple sightings of Councilman Roland Bellris are confirmed from random directions.
Solidon has been seen both raiding South-eastern Lionis as well as holding the South-eastern boarder.
Emperor Azazel kidnaps Kyran Letho-Bellris.
