In the depths of the ocean, there lies a village that is not touched by even the faintest glimmer of surface light. Within that lost, forgotten place, there is no sign of the season's change, or the eternal march of time. It is said that the seathi, mer, and kelpi who have lived so far beneath the waves have themselves been lost from the world. That they have ways far different from those of the Kawani people, and the herds that abound in the lands above. But what are those ways, and who... are you?
A koi and a seathi traveled together from that place beyond night, seemingly among the first to leave their home. Their past is quite a mystery, but their present most intrigues. They have lived their lives under the power of a terrible evil, a power so immense that it blackens the sea even when deeply asleep. Their god, the one known simply as 'the deep.' To that place many of the most beautiful, talented, and courageous have gone, never to return. What story shall these two tell?

These beauties have traveled far to find themselves a safe abode, but little is known of who they might be, and what motivates them.
